As a senior model for AVP, Kayla came to the studio for a quick shoot so we could get some fun images for her to start out with the modeling program. As a model, she now gets to nominate other students from the Class of ’14 to be models as well. The AVP senior modeling program is BY INVITATION ONLY.

CHILD’S PLAY TOY STORE ON NW 23rd

On Friday I had the privilege of taking some photographs for Child’s Play Toy Store. If you have not been there with your kids, you’re missing out. Child’s Play is a boutique toy store that carries quality toys and a lot of locally-made stuff for kids. From books to train sets, everything they carry is unique and special.

When the doors finally opened at 10am, there was literally a line of kids chomping at the bit to get in. As soon as they entered, the store came to life. Kids were riding around on bikes, looking through books, making music with instruments and playing with train sets and playhouses at one of their three play tables. What I noticed most of all was how comfortable these kids were in the store – it was like their own playroom with unlimited inspiration and things to spark their imaginations.

There’s something special around every corner in the store. It’s an amazing place. You’ll find it at NW 23rd & Kearney.
