Hello everyone;

First, pages 527 – 532 are now up on Patreon.

Second, I know I have been silent about the subject for some time, but I finally have a health update.

I’ve been having a pretty crazy fall. After my health improved so much since my last surgery, I had a sudden setback when I had a heart attack on Sept 30th.

It lead to two months of testing and appointment after appointment. Each test kept coming back worse and worse, showing so much damage across my system; but especially in my liver.

Some of the damage is classified as ‘severe’, and all of my bloodwork and imaging so far has led my new doctor to believe I have a combination of lupus and autoimmune hepatitis. I am awaiting a liver biopsy to confirm the diagnosis, at which point I will be able to begin treatment.

This has been a terrible, but also pretty emotional month; as angry as I am for being undiagnosed long enough that the damage is severe and quite likely irreversible at this point- this might be the first time I actually have answers, rather than just treating symptom after symptom. Lupus is connected to many of the conditions and syndromes I have been diagnosed with along my health journey and could explain why I have been so sick for so long.

I will hopefully have a happier update once I have my diagnoses confirmed and have begun treatment.

Thank you for all of your support as always, I am glad you have stuck with us even though the updates have had to slow so much to accommodate my health. Hopefully 2022 will be more steady.

Hello everyone! Happy #InternationalSignLanguagesDay from Faye and myself!

Sorry for the delay in the update; this has been a poor health week.

Next Wednesday there should be a regular update, which is also the 12 anniversary of our first posting! The day also coincides with an appointment to get some important biopsy results. I know I haven’t been super optimistic recently, but I’m trying to be hopeful that it will be a good day on all fronts.
