I think it will be closer to $4 trillion but President Obama's health care reform plan will supposedly cost $1.5 trillion. Will we step up or will we do the usual Government thing and defer responsibility. Congress who can not do anything right is expected to mull it over in August and pass it in September. We really must have one but that is scary. After 8 years of war mongering and funding wars while letting American and average Americans fall apart this is dizzying as Obama endeavors to repair our broken society.

This is a massive Bill! The thought of passing it that quickly is a nightmare. It sounds to me like the Industry will take tremendous liberties and Republicans will do their damnedest to make it a prohibitive mess. Just what is being swept under the rug? This is so befuddling because Health care reform is necessary to recovering from our financial and societal mess. That said do we really want to commit 1/6 of our economy to be screwed with?

This is too massive a Bill to not expect millions of massive scams. This is the Government that can not do anything right but what the hell can he do? We have to do something! Obama is willing to go after his own people and is. He is going after waffling Democrats and Republicans. We must bring costs down though and we must have tremendous relentless oversight. We must have Health care reform. We want it and we want it now but think about it. Think about Congress and our Governments track record. I see this as being extremely abused and problematic.

In a recent poll 55% approve of Health care reform and 39% do not. Myself I believe we must have it to mend our economy and society as a whole but I just do not know how this will hurt us beyond the obvious. I know damn well it will and Republicans will make sure it does so they can use it in their favor and undo everything Obama is trying to fix. Just how will it change if Obama gets health care reform for whoever wants it especially the almost 50 million without insurance.

Obama will get something passed but what? The economy dominates everyone and everything. Reforming health care will be the first step in rebuilding the average Americans economy. This is part of their Bailout program! We are close to health care reform but I believe so far away except for creating a monstrous mess of enormous proportions. Something will pass that will be touted as major health care reform but it really concerns me knowing our corrupt industries and Government and just who will it help?

History tells us it will help industry. We have the 60 votes now as long as we are able to have Byrd and Kennedy there when needed. We can do this alone I hope but I would like to see Bipartisanship. One way or the other we will make this but I See a nightmare coming and Republicans will make sure of it! I love the idea of taxing the rich and helping the poor. Sounds Robin Hoodesque! 98.8% of Americans will have to pay nothing extra.

The top 1.2% will have a tax increase to pay for Health care reform. The Dick Cheney's of America! Do you care? Senator Judd Gregg is crying foul. he said he was not at the table. No kidding, he wouldn't take a seat. I just heard Republican Senator Grassley say right now he believes there will be a Bipartisan Bill. He brings moderation to the table in contrast to Ted Kennedy or Nancy Pelosi's Bill. I look forward to it and seeing what it is that President Obama settles with.

We need this! The average American needs this. Our society needs this in order to mend ourselves. Hillary, McCain, Obama, all when they were campaigning for President said we needed this and we can do it with or without Republicans I hope. I am sorry I got very pessimistic after 8 years of Bush and Republicans. As such I am very concerned as to what kind of trap the Republicans are setting.

Health care reform will of course pose special problems for small business owners. House Majority leader Steny Hoyer said they recognize that and are very sensitive to their needs. If small business contributions are to be graduated I say great it is necessary. I think it is more than fair to have the top 1.2%, the wealthy the Dick Cheney's pay for this. They can help small business owners. It is time to pay back! They got more than their fair share of tax breaks under Bush.

Congressman Ron Kind Democrat from Wisconsin who is on the House ways and means Committee says those earning up to $150,000 will pay nothing. This health care reform bill will supposedly cost nothing extra but what will the final for be? It is right to have the top 1.25, earners of $350,000 and up to pay a graduated amount. Another poll shows 95% of Americans agree with it.

In closing, Obama hit his critics upon his return from Europe saying you are the ones who got us in to this now it is time to get us out. I say, we bailed out Wall street, the Banks, the Insurance giants, the Auto Industry, etc. It is high time we bail out average Americans with health care reform. That will lay the foundation for rebuilding our economy and society.

This is a pattern and I wrote about before. Cheney comes out with his lies then his daughter Liz while admitting to knowing nothing about the truth backs Cheney up. He should stop hiding behind his daughter! I heard there was going to be secret hearings to find out exactly what Cheney told the CIA. Save your friggen breath. The truth will never be told and it will certainly never get to us.Liz says she knows nothing because Daddy does not talk about classified information but laws were not broken.

I am sick of that crap, you can bet they were. The CIA has been lying for years. In the 1950s, Director of Central Intelligence Allen Dulles, after being told by Senator Joseph McCarthy that the CIA was "neither sacrosanct nor immune from investigation," began waging a "down and dirty covert operation on McCarthy" which included attempting to bug his office and feeding his staff with disinformation "in order to discredit him."

Former CIA Director Richard Helms was convicted in 1977 of lying to Congress about the United States' role in overthrowing the democratically elected president of Chile, Salvador Allende. Allende was succeeded by brutal dictator Augusto Pinochet.

In 1982, Congress passed a law prohibiting the administration from ousting the leftist regime in Nicaragua. The CIA kept trying to overthrow the Sandinistas. CIA Director Bill Casey testified frequently before oversight committees Congress about the agency's covert action plans, during which he was often misleading. "Casey was guilty of Contempt of Congress from the day he was sworn in," Robert Gates, former head of the CIA and current Secretary of Defense, told Weiner. When the Iran Contra Scandal began to break, Casey lied to Congress, denying that they had traded arms for hostages with Iran.

On September 17, 2001, George Tenet told Congress that Iraq had provided al Qaeda with training in combat, bomb-making, and weapons of mass destruction. That information was based on a single source, the interrogation Ibn al-Shakh al Libi, who later recanted and whom we now know was tortured for that information. Tenet of course, hasn't recanted.

These are just some of the cases in which the CIA lied to Congress. In the context of a number of covert operations, the CIA has even lied to the President. This is part of the nature of what we, as a country ask them to do as an organization--the CIA is constantly being asked to engage in illegal behavior, punished when their analysis doesn't fit the preordained conclusions of whatever administration is in power, and then is exclusively blamed when the information comes out or the operations go sour. That's a regrettable state of affairs that says more about the hypocrisy of our leaders than it does about the committed men and women of the CIA.

Duh! Panetta has been very cooperative and there is much speculation but the House intelligence committee has not made a decision yet on whether or not to investigate the lies . They should be investigated but I guarantee you the truth will never be told nor can it be. The truth would never get to us. It would destroy the sanctity of our belief of what America stands for.

I am sick of hearing Cheney's daughter Liz defend that liar when in the same breath admitting she does not know the truth. I am sick of Cheney hiding behind his daughter. It is worsened by the fact that now she wants to get into Politics to keep the Democrats from playing their games and destroying us. That can't be good! She is a typical lying Republican and I am sure she makes her daddy proud.

Yesterday I heard Karl Rove come to Cheney's defense saying we can not trust Democrats. Karl Rove? The mealy mouthed lying worm? Including Nixon and Daddy Bush Rove has made a career out of lying for Republican Presidents. Trust Rove? Come on! How the hell do those scum get away with this?

Once again I reiterate it is sick that Cheney and his daughter have the time and audacity to lie about everything Bush did and have been working diligently to "rewrite History" First while I was listening to all this crap in the past I heard something that we all thought to be true but I personally never heard of. Cheney's assassination squads! "Under President Bush’s authority, they had been going into countries, not talking to the ambassador or the CIA station chief, and finding people on a list executing them and leaving.

Once again there was no oversight and these assassination squads answered only to Cheney the real decider not Bush who wanted to be able to say he knew nothing about it! I wonder how many people they killed around the world to get out of their way? There is no way in hell this plan was never implemented as we are told and Congress is stupid enough to believe. You can bet it was and besides Arafat you have to wonder how many leaders and enemies of Cheney's plan he really had killed. As we said numerous times powers were given under Bush to be abused and were. Supposedly eliminating Al Qaeda was the goal but you know it was the elimination of everyone in Cheney's way that was the real goal.

The so called "plan" was for the CIA to "tag" Al Qaeda then follow them to destroy the cell. You know this is just another power that was abused to follow Cheney's not so well hidden agenda. Like illegal wire tapping I am sure it was used against anyone thought a threat to the Cheney Bush agenda. I have to laugh! I keep hearing the question asked as to who gave Cheney the authority to tell the CIA not to tell Congress what they were doing.

The Decider gave Cheney the right to do whatever he wanted so he could say he was not involved in this runaway Government. Targeted assassinations, you know damn well they happened. It was a joke because only the decider could decide what we and Congress had the right to know.

In closing: The truth will never be known! Yeah, protect the people let the CIA do their job. I do not believe the CIA's job is to protect the people but to protect the Administration in control. GOP watch: Republicans vs. Palin

Ever since that mistake Palin announced she was quitting her Post people were speculating why. It is obvious why, She was not picked by McCain for her Political prowess or her speaking ability. She was picked because she drew a crowd, something McCain could not do without her. Her gift of knowing nothing of consequence but being will to open mouth saying everything about nothing makes her a true Republican and a strong force of division.

McCain says Palin has a place in the party and she does but not as a Political nominee! She was freed up to accept a reported $12 million signing deal to write a book and now can be the Republican party's main fund raiser. Now they need someone to run for President in 2012! I am afraid of Romney and Jeb Bush. The Party sounds like a nightmare try to reoccur but sadly don't count them out.

First I ask again that Someone correct me if I am wrong but in my entire life I have never heard of someone in a political position like Palin's abandoning their post. No wait a minute strike that. I forgot about her fellow Republican Sanford fleeing to Argentina last week to see his soul mate. Of course Fox stupidly says she outsmarted herself I mean Democrats but to a normal thinking person she dummied herself into oblivion and I want to thank her.

Palin says she doesn't want to be a lame duck. A lame duck is a lame duck! Give me a blind! Anyway short term long term what's the diff? All the other long term lame duck Politicians have no problem with it and don't abandon their post, It does not matter she is going to fail at whatever she does but what the heck can she be thinking? Oh yeah I'm sorry she doesn't.

If she ever had a chance at a Political career she thankfully killed it. I know why she made her nutty move and it will end any desire to run for President despite the fools at Fox saying this was a brilliant move and she outsmarted the Left. Donations have started rushing in to her and you have to wonder why. She abandoned her post as Governor of a small town in Alaska, What is she going to do start a short career as a talk show host? A speaking outing to mindless right wing extremists? Is she getting out of Politics to be free to be a fool and whip people into a frenzy? Yes and write a book too. She will fail at whatever she does other than raise money and divide the Republican party further!

Palin has been an insult to all Women since McCain made the stupid mistake of picking the mindless Neanderthal as his running mate. I would thank him if so many fools didn't like her and foolishly say she was an ass I mean asset. From day one she was a kick in the face to Hillary Clinton and all very qualified intelligent female or any other Politician for that matter. She was an insult to all intelligent Americans. Happily for me Paling has the ability to be the Party's number one fund raiser but she is sufficiently unknowledgeable in everything to keep the Republican party divided. Old school Republicans are never going to go for this new school small town Governor and community college Grad for any serious position in Government. First I have to ask does that mean Pakistan collects the reward for The men the Pakistan has been in touch with since Soviet involvement 30 years ago? Just asking!

Anyway President Obama and Richard Holbrook are now ready to talk to Mullah Omar one of our number one enemies. Karzai has been reaching out to Mullah Omar and now the US can and may reach out to him and the rest of the Taliban leaders. They will do so only if they agree to lay down arms. I don't care what is takes. Lay down arms to get us out of there and pick them up later like Iraq!

Holbrook will not rule out anything. Holbrook said we can make a deal with anyone especially all four of the Taliban leaders trapped by Pakistan. They all have ties with Afghanistan and the ISI all the way back to the Soviet involvement in Afghanistan. Only demand: Lay down your arms and get involved with the Political process in Afghanistan. They may do that but they absolutely refuse to gave a Democracy. It is though a start to ending I Hope our involvement in what has become Obama's war but India must help. Just help India! Everyone!

Ted Eulogizes Robert in Best Eulogy ever heard

This should be seen if you can see it as it is the entire life and career of Ted Kennedy. It chronicles his life from childhood to being "The lion of the Senate in his 46 year Senate career. He started out in the Senate as a young district Attorney. I was amazed while listening his first senatorial campaign debate.

He sounded just like JFK. Teddy started out as a celebrity talking about health care and it looks like he is going to leave the Senate the same way, a celebrity fighting for health care. If comprehensive health care is passed now it would be a fitting legacy to Teddy.

Nixon was obsessed with Teddy and the entire Kennedy clan. I would say he was jealous because he lost to JFK. Nixon spent a lot of time and is recorded trying to find something to pin on and hang him and his whole family. Despite his older Brother Joe's death as a pilot during WW2, JFK's assassination, RFK's assassination, Nixon was determined to pile more grief on Teddy and his family.

When Robert was killed there was a move to draft Teddy to take his place. Listen to the video of Teddy's eulogy to Robert. It is the most touching I have ever heard: My Brother need not be idealized! He saw wrong and tried to right it. He saw suffering and tried to heal it. He saw war and tried to stop it. Some men see things as they are and say why. He dreamed things that never were and said why not?

Tehran is boiling over once again with shouts of death to the dictator and now Death to his son Mojtaba Khamenei!

4 weeks after the Government takeover Khamenei calls an election Iran is boiling over with anger once again as protestors of the election fraud use the 10 year commemoration of the bloody crackdown on Tehran University students known as the 18th of Tir to take to the streets once again. Knowing the brutality they have seen and promises of more of the same these people are exceptionally brave. They had no permit and in Iran especially today you know what that means.

Amid promises from Khamenei the IRG and the the Basil of en even more bloody protest crowds are smaller due to mass arrests and the brutality rained on those seeking the truth but protestors still come out. Only a few thousand of the hardiest now dare risk their lives and future prosecution but these people are angry and they came out!

In addition to the old chant of Death to the Dictator Khamenei has been added a new chant Death to Mojtaba Khamenei. He is said to be the head of Iran's security forces and has emerged as one of the driving forces behind the *government's crackdown. I can't see being any harder than Ayatollah Khamenei but Mojtaba is seen as more hard line than his father.

Khamenei is also lobbying for Mojtaba to be his replacement as the false Ayatollah. I do not see that happening because Formally, the position is supposed to be awarded by the assembly of experts, an elected group of clerics led by the most powerful rival to Khamenei and Ahmadinejad, Hashemi Rafsanjani. With international reporters kicked out or arrested pictures still continue to get out. Those people are super, super brave as we have discussed in the past Iran has the ability to track down the cell phone users once they devote time to it. I watched cnn as someone was taking pictures from a passing bus. The street corners were swarming with thugs groups of Basij with clubs and firing tear gas and numerous teams with clubs on motorcycles patrolling the streets.

The genie is out of the bottle and this story will not go away. Unbelievably to me they are still shouting Death to the Dictator! That is death to the false Ayatollah the once supreme leader who the people now know is the supreme liar, the supreme dictator. There were demonstrations amongst other places at Vanak square and Tehran university. When the crowds were dispersed with tear gas and clubs they melted into the streets to reemerge elsewhere, I am so proud of them and envious of their tenacity.

Tehran is pulsing with anger once again and we only see it because of brave citizens risking their lives hiding and taking pictures with their cell phones. With all international journalist jailed or kicked out the Government is determined to unbeknown to the world crush this and protesters are equally determined to continue this. This will take time and it will be a long struggle. These are Iranians this will not die it will simmer. Meanwhile we can condemn human rights violations for naught but we can just watch and pray for these people!

Isn't concealing information lying? Panetta says it is not CIA policy to mislead Congress. What a lie! Isn't concealing information misleading? How are we supposed to believe the CIA? As far as I am concerned they have a long history of lying and it only got worse during the Bush misadministration. George Tenet was probably the worst liar in CIA history so Bush could attack Iraq.

I do not like Pelosi but yesterday Pelosi said in regard to the letter sent to Panetta to recant his statement that the CIA is not in the habit of misleading Congress that obviously the House has concerns about the CIA! Panetta has admitted to the house intelligence committee behind closed doors of misleading Congress several times over the last 8 years. What a surprise and of course Republican members of the committee deny it?

7 Democrats including Democratic members of the intelligence committee are signatories of the letter accusing the CIA of repeatedly lying misleading and concealing information from Congress. Representative Jan Shakowski wrote the letter and asked CIA Director Leon Panetta to take back the statement that the CIA is not in the practice of misleading Congress.

Jobs created or not President Obama has his work cut out for him here and around the world as Republicans mess with him and try to make him fail. This is not a friggen joke. They better stop playing their childish games. The entire world depends on all this working.

Jobs Jobs Jobs! America and the entire world need jobs and are looking for Obama to create them. While President Obama is at the G8 trying to repair the Global economy and fix the environment I am listening to Reid say forget Republicans and Biden saying we might be willing to compromise on the single payer option because they have to get something and quick. Biden says Hospitals are ready to contribute 155 Billion and do their part.It is beginning to sound too suspect to me and I think Obama better concentrate on the stimulus and putting America and the world back to work and work on a real comprehensive health care package not a rushed compromise.

At the G8 even Gordon Brown is pressing Obama for concrete evidence of jobs and economic recovery at the 3 day Global economic Summit! In America we are said to have $499 Billion available with $187 Billion spent. If that is true where the hell are the jobs? We are still losing hundreds of thousands of jobs every month. How can Obama prove he has created a single job? Prove it!

I am increasingly wary that the stimulus programs have worked at all for the average American. With the back drop of the economic summit, continuing job loss and cries of failure at any job creation, and a growing number of "staged" tea parties there are increasing calls within Obama's Administration for yet another stimulus. We have not even spent this one yet nor have we seen anything concrete from it. Just what the hell are we stimulating besides this corrupt Capitalism system?

Pushing Billions and Billions of dollars through Government programs has proven to be a failed policy and there are increasing calls to add even more money that we do not have. China must love this. Speaking of China because of unrest involving a Muslim sect in China where so far 1456 have been killed China's President had to leave the Summit before it started. Our bank had to go home!

We have a still growing serious problem here and not just in America but around the world. The Republicans will make sure this fails so Obama does. The monstrosity Reid and Pelosi have thus far passed is a political Bill not a stimulus Bill. The trickle of what I hear from some so far spent of 10% of the current stimulus spent is bad news for Obama and at the G8 yesterday I heard maybe more is needed while the rest of the G8 said lets see if this one works first, I agree, I have yet to see any pay back.

The International Monetary fund is under the mistaken impression that we are now recovering from the worst recession since WW2 but like you and the rest of the world I do not yet see it. There are 12 helicopters on standby to take G8 leaders to Rome so they can continue their meetings in safety if more after shocks hit, the last one hit on Friday, They realize how important this is but I understand nothing concrete will be done.

In closing, They better get something done! The G8 Global economic summit will for good or bad affect the entire world for years. The entire world realizes we are facing severe adversity and the biggest crisis in many generations. I wish to hell the Republicans would and realize what is at stake. The childish Political games must stop!

With the rapidly changing events here in the US, With North Korea, China's crackdown, Afghanistan, Iraq, Obama in Russia, I have to digress and once again discuss Iran as it affects the entire world and though unity is asked for the ugly set up to civil war gets closer every day!

I was pretty pleased a few weeks back when Grand Ayatollah Montazeri said no one in their right mind could believe Ahmadinejad won the election particularly with the supposed landslide he was "given" Montazeri decried the Brutality and rightly said a Government not respecting the people's vote has no Religious or Political legitimacy whatsoever. Having legitimacy is not Khamenei's concern! He betrayed the 1979 revolution right off the bat. That is why the most popular Ayatollah in Iran left Iran for Iraq and has never returned, Ayatollah Sistani is gaining more converts every day. Ayatollah Montazeri was a leader of the Revolution too and has disagreed with Khamenei's betrayal of the Revolution. Instead of leaving like Ayatollah Sistani he chose to stay in Iran and has frequently butted heads with Khamenei.

Now we can include the Religious leaders of Qum in continuing to demand the release of the "children of the Revolution" but that will never happen. Releasing them and the thousands taken prisoner would instantly get this civil war going instead of having it on slow burn. A serious rift has opened because of Khamenei's brutality and disdain for the will of the people so he can continue his farce of a Religious theocratic Democracy.

Russia and US take first step in pressing the reset button! Very Significant!

In a great gesture of unity Russia has begun to open its airspace to US aircraft to reinforce our forces in Afghanistan. It was not critical to the mission but it is certainly monumental. Imagine? Russia allowing US planes to over fly Russia is unbelievable to me being a baby boomer and having grown up with the cold war. Russia's help in Afghanistan is critical to our success in Afghanistan. Not just Chechnya but tackling the Islamist extremists Russia knows is critical to them too. Every country must realize sooner or later they too are on the menu.

Russia is key along with China in getting North Korea to behave like a responsible Nation td to get them back to the bargaining table. Russia as you know is pivotal in Iran's nuclear future. Despite Khamenei's ruthless oppressive clampdown or should I say "because of" for Iran. Having said that I heard that a member of Moussavi campaign died yesterday while being tortured by the Khamenei regime. I just want to say Khamenei's days of being the final word in Iran are over.

I have to wonder how they are going to lie their way out of that one? How are they going to blame that on Britain? Iran's civil war will not be avoided as many Ayatollah's are now openly speaking against Khamenei's open blatant iron fisted oppression against the truth seekers, the citizens, and the children of the revolution. Whatever happens with Iran's leadership, Khamenei and Ahmadinejad or Rafsanjani and Moussavi Russia's nuclear and military role in Iran has been key to Iran and it will remain that way.

Towards the end of pressing the reset button on US Russian relations the first visit to Russia has been inspiring to say the least. Yesterday was fruitful! The first day started with Obama attending the solemn ceremony for Russia's tomb for their unknown soldiers from WW2 where he laid a wreath on the tomb. That in itself was a remarkable poignant moment in pressing the restart button for a new relationship with Russia.

President Obama was the commencement speaker at Russia's new college of economics. That is amazing in itself! Russian people like everyone else around the world love Obama and his promise of hope and change. As you may know Russia is having its own economic crisis. The students like all Russian's want help concerning their economic situation, better relations with the US after Bush purposely destroyed them, and hope and change for the world at large in the 21st century. Obama gave us all that yesterday and the students felt it today!

I watched Obama speak and he stressed pressing the reset button and asked for Russia's help on the missile defense system Bush used to instigate Russia to war. I remember Putin offering Russian help with the MDS as a way of alleviating Russian fears that it was aimed at Russia and of course Bush refused and tensions ratcheted up. This is phenomenal. Russia has requests too! Obama must discontinue the Bush policy of trying to get ex USSR Nations to try to join NATO>. Of course we can not in my mind turn them down but the desire has to come from them not us as a way to make Russia feel threatened.

President Obama and President Medvedev's nuclear negotiators signed a new nuclear agreement yesterday cutting stockpiles by a third. With both Nation's able to destroy the planet 2,000 times over that is largely ceremonial but to me it shows a desire to show the world they care. They signed the agreement allowing the US to use Russia's airspace to secure the Muslim Nation of Afghanistan. I am psyched! This is a world away from where Bush had us and the entire world headed Obama proposed a Global Nuclear summit next year, Great!

I was very pleased when Medvedev said the US Russian relationship does not correspond to its principle. I am psyched! He said there had been reasonable compromise but there will be advancements in in military and economic interests to benefit both countries. Wow Medvedev really sounds genuine and unlike Bush who saw Putin's soul I am a very good judge of character.

He too wants peace and unity between the US and Russia to move the world peacefully into the 21st century. Did I say I was psyched? Nostradamus gave us two roads to travel into the future one to peace unity and prosperity and one to world war death and destruction. Bush had us on the latter and Obama now has us on the right road. They even discussed a mutual agreement to work together on the missile defense system. I hope it is not a wasted emotion but I am euphoric! Today Obama had a meeting for breakfast with Putin who many like me think if the real leader of Russia including me. Watching his face as he speaks will say more than his words. Once again we wait watch and listen! I did not see much on the meeting but one quick look at Putin left me very concerned. Obama also met with Gorbachev and I wish I could have seen that. Oh well we have hope!

Before I get into that I just heard that a Canadian Iranian reporter Maziar Bahari who was missing for 9 days "supposedly" just admitted that there is a possibility that reporters instigated some of the riots but credited the Basij for breaking it up. First, this bothers me because I know it is a lie! Last week I was listening to CNN reporter who was called in and told someone wanted to talk to his. A large Burly man told him in the IRG he supposed told him they were told he was writing untrue information and had to leave.

The guy told him he could stay and all would be forgotten if he would write favorable stories about the horror he was seeing. Of course he refused and had to leave immediately. This is preposterous and another lie another set up. We don't know who is doing what there. We do not know what anyone is saying. Remember Saberi? Coming from Iran state TV you know it is a lie. This so called confession was undoubtedly coerced if it is even true. We can not verify it!

The arm twisting and attempts to keep the truth from getting out will never stop as long as Khamenei and Ahmadinejad are in power. The following story illustrates that. I can't say it enough that I am so impressed with what I have been seeing from the Iranian people since the election. I am including the songs in Farsi by Bon Jovi and Joan Baez to show solidarity with the Iranian people!

The other day there was a Government sanctioned rally and Moussavi supporters took the opportunity to show up and display support for Moussavi. Now Moussavi has found the opportunity to speak though Khamenei closed down his newspaper and web site and jailed 25 of his employees.

Moussavi despite being kept under raps came out with his wife Zahra Rahnavard and declared that he considered the new Government to be illegitimate. He said it in a way to show the principles of the 1979 Revolution were betrayed when he called for the release of the children of the Revolution. Mehdi Karroubi, a reformist cleric also declared the Government illegitimate and a betrayal. Karroubi too called for the release of the children of the Revolution. He also vowed to continue his fight. Shortly thereafter the daily newspaper sympathetic to him was shut down.

The Doctor who witnessed a Basiji shoot Neda Soltan from a motorcycle made that public and treated her fled to London before the order was given to arrest him. Al Franken goes to Washington! now what?

This could be the biggest thing in decades for Progressives. For the first time in 31 years a party has a filibuster proof majority. Let's now get a public option on Health care, energy reform, the environment, cap and trade. What is cap and trade?

It is time to change the country! I was peeved Coleman dragged this out. 7 months! I am glad he finally did the right thing and conceded. I don't want to hear that he was a big man for conceding and Congratulating Franken he should have done that 6 months ago. Minnesota can now have their two Senators their deserved Representation. I think like Jessie Ventura did as Governor Al Franken is going to surprise a lot of people and represent Minnesotan's well.

This is a huge victory. Now it is time to put up or shut up. Get on with our agenda! Reid and Pelosi have been using the 60 seats as a crutch. The crutch is gone. Time to stop talking and walk the walk. Time to put up or shut up. Democrats went soft on the public option plan. What it is and who is afraid of public option Health care.

The third longest vacancy in US history is over though the Democratic party is not in lock step it is time to come together and stand up! No more excuses. This is a historic opportunity and we better take advantage of it. If Democrats are to be emboldened now is the time. Time to stop being wishy washy and grow some back bone/ Time for Democrats to stop fighting Obama. It took 239 days to get Al Franken seated. Time to put him to work and not just in Minnesota.

Democrats finally have their super majority. Time to get the peoples wok done. Obama has disappointed me in many of the decisions he has made in staying in line with Bush the Destroyer. All in all we have had a pretty good progressive agenda up to now. Now Reid and Pelosi better grow some backbone and make it great. Republicans have long drawn a line in the sand. I do not see them cross that line. I just want to see the independents including the 13 Senators who have voted with Bush in the past stick with Obama.

Michael Steele said he was very disappointed that Coleman gave up without going to the Supreme Court. I can see why. Republicans are now under pressure. The pup tent party has isolated themselves and they will further. They should change their name to the Southern party. The South is about all they have anymore. Obama has an ambitious agenda and he and Democrats must be careful of not over playing their hand. They must keep their 60 ducks in a row. It is deliver time but the pressure is on both sides.

Democrats are still fighting themselves. We and they are not all progressives. Obama so far to me has not been aggressive enough with the Senate. It is time to put the squeeze on but I don't know. It is going to be critical but it is not Obama's style. However it is essential as this is a sobering ambitious agenda. A bit intimidating actually!

* In closing We are in serious trouble in many instances. Public Health care to me is an absolute necessity to proceed successfully into the future as a society as we know it. That said we are moving towards 50 million uninsured. Right or wrong we are told Obama's plan will only cover 16 million at a cost of 1 trillion dollars. Thus to me we are looking at $3 trillion and you know it will only get more expensive. It is never cheaper but a lot more expensive than they say. I am overwhelmed thinking about it all. We are damned if we do damned if we don't. What a friggen mess Bush made of us and the world in his "success" Damn it, we better hope, just hope!

Iran Iraq and Afghanistan,Sobering personal thoughts!

I see more and more as our leaving the cities got closer what I saw as a fact the day the idiot ignored all good advice against attacking Iraq and that is an all out war Sunni against Shiite and don't forget the Kurd's and other sects then spreading throughout the middle east. Iraq got its sovereignty back and a day ahead of time. Now we will see how bad if at all they really want Democracy and equality. They may want Democracy but with Sunni or Shiite dominating and that is the problem that will not go away.

More than 6 years after Bush's illegal attack we still have 131,000 troops there. They may be out of the big cities for now but they will be back. Remember, Bush wanted a permanent Korea style force there should I say more specifically in the middle east. Like it or not that will be the case for the indeterminable future unless we are smart enough to pull out and regroup right here in America. Obama is not that smart and neither is anyone else in power or near it.

The Iran backed Shiite is said to be behind the increasing violence. They are increasing their care and IED murders as they do their damnedest to get this new middle east ()dis)order in full swing. Don't forget the Kurds who want their own sovereignty but this will be Sunni against Shiite and will eventually engulf the entire middle east. You see what's happening in Iran. There is a bigger reason for it than Iran.

Remember the most senior Ayatollah in Iran is living in Najaf, Iraq and has not been in Iran since the 1979 Revolution as he disagrees with Khamenei and his hijacking of Iran. what roll will Sistani play in the new middle east order? What role will he play in the future and why is he still sitting on the sidelines or is he?

250 people mostly Shiite were killed last week alone in this "success" we handed over to Iraq. Just as I was putting this together I heard there was another car bombing in Kirkuk no report of deaths yet. The hell on earth Bush created for Iraq when he attacked will soon get under way. I am sorry to say this because like you I was powerless to stop this but I guarantee you the entire middle east will be engulfed before it consumes the entire world.

Mark my words! All this plus what he did to the US is because of the "success" of the Alcoholic egomaniac who left the White House proud of his destruction. He attacked Iraq to get into the Middle east to "straighten it out" Remember, the idiot said he talked to God and he was doing God's work. 6/30 was declared National Sovereignty Day in Iraq as fireworks were fired and people danced and celebrated in the streets. I can just wait watch and listen expecting the worst but hoping for the best.

One of my sons that has been to both Iraq and Afghanistan more than a few times leading EOD teams. He has been trying to prepare my 20 year old who will be going to Afghanistan in December to do the same thing. They are the nuts who drive in the huge tractor like vehicles to hopefully find and disarm IED’s. He said if you touch the vehicle when it hits a 500 pound stack at the very least what ever is touching the vehicle will be broken. It is only going to get worse I wish it would end and quick! I can only wonder what is next as Afghanistan too is getting worse.

Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan? remember the Gulf. I lost track of it but we had 3 carrier Battle Groups in the Gulf and France had the Charles De Gaul guarding the entrance. Anyway if this blows up as I expect Obama is poised to deal with all those countries right from the Gulf but what about Russia who also has nuclear assets there and whose troops in Iran were long ago ordered to protect their interests?

At the trial yesterday Madoff should have saved his breath shut up and just took his medicine. Madoff said his wife cried herself to sleep every night. Yeah all the way to the bank! Madoff apologized in court while seeking leniency. I agree with the Judge that Madoff was not as helpful as he could have been. I am sure absolutely no where near it instead protecting family and friends from suffering the same fate as him.

Leniency my rear! He dug a deep hole for himself big deal it isn't deep enough. His wife still has 2.5 million dollars and should be Bankrupt. She takes the subway now. Oh poor woman. I am sure she is all set and should not be. Get the millions from his family and friends. Madoff gout the maximum 150 years. The people wanted 150 years Federal prosecutors wanted 50 years and Madoff's defendants asked for 12.

I am glad he got the max but according to the average age of death he only has 12 more years to live. Dead is dead and 12 years or 150 years it is not enough pain. I really wish torture was legal now. No maybe not knowing me and most we would feel sorry for him and relent.

The depths of hell sounds good for payback but dead is dead what the hell does he care? This was the biggest white collar crime in the History of the US very likely the entire world. There was 30 law firms in 25 countries that was after Madoff for defrauding multiple Billions. The countries include Argentina, Brazil, Columbia, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, South Africa, Mexico, Israel, I am sure there are more than 25 countries affected.

When all was said and done Bernie Madoff swindled more than thirteen thousand investors and I understand it may be as high as 3 million people all over the world directly or indirectly that were swindled. There was an atmosphere of mob vengeance in the court house and a feeling of relief when Madoff got 150 years but he is 71 years old and those people will never be vindicated. Justice will never be served.

In Iran we are watching The evolution of a Civil war!

Iran continues to race towards civil war, This affects the entire world.
Iran is now hunting down protesters using the very tools they relied on to get the word out to the world as to the brutality that they were enduring under Khamenei Ahmadinejad the Basij and ultimately Iran's Revolutionary Guard. When this first started I warned those using their cell phones to transmit pictures and text depicting the atrocities that were being rained down on them. Only because it became known that in March Iran purchased the software from a Finnish German concern the software allowing them the wherewithal to track who was sending the information.

It is the same technology used by all American police departments. I know there are some who say enough of covering Iran already but I can not because this is just developing and will effect the entire world. I first saw the end of the current Theocracy brought to power after the 1979 revolution. Then I thought we were watching the birth of a Revolution, then a military coup with the IRG and the Basiji. Now I am convinced we are watching a civil war and it will affect all of us.

The Basiji are in the hospitals arresting people they injured right in the emergency room before they have the opportunity to tell the medical staff the awful truth as to what happened to them. You have to wonder what is next. Iran has done everything possible to shut down opposition leader Mir Hossein Moussavi.

Ahmadinejad shut down his newspaper closed down his website supposedly have him under house arrest and have arrested some 25 of his employees for supposed actions against the State. Anyone caught or even suspected of communicating with Moussavi is subject to arrest and they are being arrested along with everyone else they can round up. Including IRG suspected of not being totally loyal. Often their houses are raided in the middle of the night and they're taken away screaming into the night never to be heard from again.

Despite all this and much more there is an intense power struggle going on behind the scenes. Rafsanjani is still fighting to wrest control from Khamenei. Her is said to be the second richest man in Iran. He has dominated Iranian Politics for thirty years. Up to now he was said to be one of the most powerful Political leaders in Iran. I remember when Khamenei spoke at the university saying he would crush any opposition he chided Ahmadinejad for saying Rafsanjani was corrupt. He was forced to defend him as a fellow member of the 1979 Revolution and a man who loves Iran that he has known fore 50 years.

On another related note 8 British Embassy workers were arrested as they headed to work. They were arrested for inciting and aiding and abetting the election dispute protesters. Amidst all this Khamenei coming right out saying Ahmadinejad was the winner meaning they had counted 40 million hand ballots in 2 hours hurt his credibility. Every move he has made since has only served to further erode his credibility. He just came out and called for peace and calm. He will have it but not because of people listening to Khamenei but because everyone that would speak up has been killed, arrested, or otherwise frightened into submission at lest for now.

While hard line cleric Khatami calls for the heads of all those continuing to contest the election Moussavi continues his defiance despite mounting opposition. Despite the veiled threat towards him Moussavi continues to call for the election to be annulled though there is no way it will be. The movement will go underground but it will eventually erupt into a civil war.

In closing Khamenei, Ahmadinejad, the IRG, and the Basiji have to be pushing towards this while blaming it on our intervention. They believe it will be in their favor as they have all the weapons power and money or so they think. They know that always trumps the will of the people but I don't know this time. With Rafsanjani the 2nd most powerful and richest man in Iran seeking to unseat Khamenei and Moussavi continuing to insist on a revote I still do not see the will of the people being adhered to. I only see civil war and it will in one way or the other affect the entire world.

Okay he was beat as a kid I don't know anyone that wasn't.

The Audacity of hope crashes head on into the Audacity of Reality!

Many of us have been following a catastrophe of humanity which ensued the stolen elections in Iran! I firmly believe because of the brutality of the Basiji with reportedly many Hamas and Hezbollah beating people with axes and clubs throwing them off foot bridges and protesters being protected by clerics marching with them not only did this have to come with the blessing of the IRG but I believe we are seeing a military coup against the clerics! Against the old Theocracy!

To take the focus off the slaughter that was happening in Iran Ahmadinejad turned the horrific crimes against humanity in Iran into a tit for tat with President Obama. He has taken the focus off of the brutality stolen elections and Moussavi and put the focus back on him. I now see that another hard line cleric Ahmid Khatami wants a ruthless crack down and no mercy on protesters in order to teach everyone a lesson. My first thought was who? Then I thought what kind of a Religious leader is that? Then I figured okay so called clerics like him will give cover to this military coup!

Watching Iran devolve into a violent dictatorship seemingly by the military it made me think about event since Obama first came on the scene. I like many others around the world had the Audacity for hope he inspired! I saw great opportunities in America and around the world to recover from the immense mess Bush made out of everything. Obama has inspired us and given us all hope as he travelled around the world announcing that we will not tell you what to do but if you unclench your fist we will extend our hand.

I had great hope that the entire world would extend their hand and move peacefully into a successful future as one! I now see that the entire world seems to take Obama's overtures of peace and cooperation as a opportunity to take what they wanted. This roller coaster ride of emotions going from hope to fear I have to believe is because of our mess of a Republican party who has done their damnedest from day one to make Obama fail and to herald to the world that he was weak and they could take advantage of. In 2002 Bush declared North Korea Iran and Iraq as the Axis of evil! Many of us thought this was so he could eventually create an excuse to further is wars. Look at Iran Iraq and North Korea today! I refuse to believe the truth can not get to the rest of the people. This is sick!

Mir Hossein Moussavi has been put under house arrest! I was listening to Prince Reza Pahlavi saying he is being increasingly contacted by Basij and Iranian Revolutionary Guard who just cannot harm and kill their fellow citizens any more. Some are seeking a way out of the country. Some of them have been taking off their uniforms and joining the people in protests. The other day I mentioned citizens know where they live and have started marking and targeting them. I said yesterday I was going to give the Iranian people a break as I thought they had been beaten into submission and now indiscriminately killed. The force being used on them I thought was overwhelming but I am so proud of them. They want their freedom period! They refuse to give up! Police have now taken to confiscating cell phones to keep people from communicating with each other.

Something has changed in Iran! This Brutality performed in the name of the brutal killer the so called Supreme Leader is way beyond police stat brutality. The Iranian Revolutionary Guard has been beating old men and women to a pulp. Breaking arms and legs, maiming and killing their brothers and sisters, fellow Iranian's. Can they possibly live amongst the very people who they have been trying to destroy? Can the people live with them more importantly? Women are on the front line and being beat to a pulp. I just heard from an Iranian Woman that the beatings are being done by foreigner, Hamas and Hezbollah because Iranian men will not beat a woman. I don't know about that!

I understand the organization Reporters without Borders has just listed Iran as the country hands down with the most reporter in prison. 40 reporters have been rounded up and arrested under the auspices of pursuing illegal activities. This has not been declared but this is martial law! Protesters are fewer but they are fearful not dissuaded. I just saw pictures of armed uniformed police with their civilian clothes showing under their uniforms. The ranks seem to be cracking but not not the protesters but of the Gestapo who have had enough and are joining the people.

I just saw the official Iranian TV station is airing so called confessions this one was a Woman saying she and her son carried grenades to protests. That peeves me because even though they are being slaughtered I have not seen one lift a finger yet. That woman also said she was influenced by western sources. Gee she isn't being coerced is she? People are being taken out of their homes and told if you do not say what we want we will take your family away. Gee!

You know, It just dawned on me! These phony confessions are going to be used on the thousands of people they have captured many of them erroneously to punish them later as they have promised. Their fascist crap is only going to make this unrest fester and resurface later. These people are brave and I truly admire and respect them. They want their freedom and their tenacity humbles me. I personally believe that with all that has happened the last few days that this False Fascist Theocracy is crumbling!

Part 2 The Brutal Reality of Iran! Iran long a police state has become a State off Terror!

The crackdown on those poor freedom loving Iranian's has become overwhelming as they are terrorizing and killing indiscriminately. Those poor people are scared to hell and afraid to breathe. This has changed in an instant. The Government is now charging a bullet fee! Families have been made to pay a fee of $3000 for the bullet that killed their relative if they want to get the body back. One man's son was caught up in this and shot dead but when authorities found out he was a veteran of the Iran Iraq war they relented and gave them his sons body.

* It now gets worse by the second! They are doing everything to intimidate their own people! They now say they will be trying anyone that is in jail or whose names they have gathered in or out of the Hospital. * Khamenei has extended the deadline for another 5 days for anyone with complaints against the election fraud.What the hell good is that? Ahmadinejad is going to be inaugurated between July and August 19th. Registering a complaint will only give the enforcers one more way of tracking you down and taking retribution.

* One of those running for President even withdrew his complaint because of the violent crackdown and fears. Hamid Dabashi Professor of Iranian studies at Columbia University called Obama's speech on what is happening in Iran spot on and Congresses Resolution as a kiss of death. He said Obama is very wise as he may have to deal with Ahmadinejad yet he may have to deal with Musavi.

* I hate to tell him, those people are in hell. Everything I am afraid is the kiss of death and the Government of Iran is making sure of it. Iranian Officials will not back down! They are rounding up anyone even suspected of protesting or being against them. Iranian's throughout the country are living in sheer terror. They call that a great country? A stable Democracy?

* Iranian's were also warned by an unnamed former President not to wear green as it would make them a target of the Police State. * Some not all stores were closed to honor a call for a national strike. I would not have closed my doors at this point as that too would make you a target. * At this point those poor terrorized people must feel as the German's did in the 1930s when the brown shirts (Nazi's) were running the streets doing their terrorizing.

* also heard 6 members of the national soccer team have been kicked off the team for wearing green arm bans in sympathy of the protests. &* There is a large force of armed Basij and IRG on street corners and swarming the streets. This is more than a crack down! Why would they need so much repression if the elections were fair? Things have quieted down for now but it is only out of fear gut wrenching fear to even be in Iran right now.
* This is not good! I found out Iranian Authorities can monitor all cell phone calls and images because of software purchased March 19th from a German Finnish venture. I understand they can not monitor in real time but lord help those who have been using them during the protests when authorities do have time to dig through them.

** You can not say Iran has become a police state it has long been a police state. This is now a terror state! Two women just arriving State side from Tehran one in a wheel chair from injuries sustained when they were trampled by fleeing protesters said it is now sheer terror. Horrifying! Old, Young, children, they are being beaten to death. Iran has become a state of terror!

** Those poor people need help. People are crying every night in Iran. At this point it seems all we can do is cry with them! Those two women would not use their name or show their face for fear of retribution on them or their family. They are terrified! People are now largely hiding in their houses hoping they are not pulled out and going to bed crying every night. The police state of Iran is going to crush this revolt if they have to kill everyone in the process. This is getting too oppressive for those poor people. For now I am going to wait watch listen and pray for Iranians.

Today part 1 of 2! The hope and Brutal Reality of Iran Part 1. Wishful thinking!

The Basij, the Young women, the Geeks the Mullah's are shaping the new face of Iran! Iran will never be the same!

For the last two days I have been working on a story for this morning about the Basij and the rapidly changing Dynamics on what is some kind of a Revolution happening in Iraq. I just heard something that has to start this off. I am listening to CNN and I just saw a video of a very provocatively dressed woman in High heels and a tight slit on the side dress walking down a street in Tehran. A man driving by rolled down his window and said Lady has the Revolution already begun?

What is happening in Iran is the first Revolution in the world not coming from leaders but happening from the ground up. Many young Iranian's are computer Geeks. It is they that are hacking into Government computers. Iran's Ayatollah's are clueless. They are accusing CNN of teaching students how to do it. I would laugh if I didn't know Iran was using this false information to blame everyone else for what they themselves have created. CNN does not have a clue how to do that but anyway.

Since the Revolution in 1979 the regime has been effective at controlling the people. This whole just developing rebellion has caught them off guard. They are losing control! It is happening from the bottom up and at the same time from within. The Ayatollah's just do not get it. They did this! They are reaping what they sowed! After the 1979 Revolution they were right to encourage education. They also encouraged procreation.

They never utilized the educated youth many of them women all looking for work, equality, and a sense of being. They are now seeing the fruit of their labor. The well educated youth long sick of being totally controlled by this supposed Religious theocracy were pushed over the edge by the stolen election to keep the hierarchies agenda going. They started rebelling and have taken control of the situation from the bottom up. from the bottom up.

Women are on the front lines and the geeks are getting the truth out to the world through the Governments attempts to shut down all electronic communications. Senior clerics and ex Presidents, very high public figures, ex Revolutionaries not softies, are now questioning the so called Supreme leader and joining the opposition. They have realized they can not work with this all controlling hard line Fascist system.

Musavi is one of the 1979 Revolutionaries and an insider. He did not plan this and had no idea this was going to happen. I believe he has become the accidental leader of this movement. He has been thrust to the forefront of what is called " the lipstick" Rebellion because of the many young women taking an active front line role in this. They look at Musavi as their Savior! The women are looking for equality and they and the brainiacs are looking for work. They are all looking to get out from underneath the stifling suppression.

They have gotten behind Musavi and Rafsanjani! I now understand Ahmadinejad is going to be sworn in some time between July and August 19. This most definitely will set much protesting and resulting violence in motion. It remains to be seen how this is going to turn out. Iranian ruling elite is already calling for investigation into the killing of protesters and I am afraid there will be more.

The Ayatollah's brutal oppressive all controlling regime has in the past closed down this wonderful society. Now the people have had enough and they are demanding it be opened back up. They want Iran back! If this has a chance to succeed and it does it will come from the ground up and it is. They also need establishment figures as leaders and they have them in Musavi and Rafsanjani at the least. They also need clerical leaders and they have them too. I was very pleased to see a video of some of them marching with the protesters to protect them from the IRG and the Basij.

The Guardian council has admitted that there was inequities in the vote said it does not matter. They said this is over and refused to nullify the vote. They are wrong this is not over it is just starting. Iran will never be the same! Iran's youth born of the 1979 Revolution will succeed in forming an Iran that has a place for them when all is said and done. They will have a place and not as the downtrodden beat up cog.

* In closing, The Basij are killing people and I understand citizens are starting to turn the tables on them. They know where they live and have started to act against them. They know where they live and for now are setting traps for them and marking their houses. I heard some students took pictures and I saw them on CNN of Basiji jumping on cars and smashing windows. The Government has been televising that it is the protesters causing all the damage. The students, the Geeks, the women shaped by the Basij are showing the world defiance and Iran's Government feasting on itself! Iran will never be the same!

Clerics are now marching side by side protecting them form the Revolutionary Guard and the Basij, I'm psyched!

* The dynamics are changing! Protesters are now turning on law enforcement. Riot police are running from crowds who are now chasing them down. As violence continues to get much worse the dynamics of this movement are changing constantly. * While we only report the truth and their pictures coming from the front lines we are accused of exaggerating and instigating this. Meanwhile they tell their people everything is fine.

* A large quantity of paramilitary thugs were beating people and chasing them away as they attempted to attend Neda's funeral and hold a vigil at her burial site. Iran has warned Britain of interference and instigating violence. As a result Britain has pulled its authorities from Iran for their safety. * I am happy to hear that the Guardian council now admits the people protesting are right. They admit that Ballots were stuffed in 50 states!

* The Revolutionary Guard publicly warned protesters they will use severe force to crush any and all resistance. As I alluded to Iran's senior clerics are now divided and this along with everything else will further complicate things for the so called Old Guard and the Supreme Leader. * Clerics are now marching side by side with the protesters to protect them from the Revolutionary Guard, the Basij, and other Government thugs.

* This in itself is Revolutionary! The old Guard as Iran and the world new it is now ineffectual and unraveling. The new Guard is still taking shape and I do not believe they will be denied this time around.

* I absolutely love it! The Republicans constantly mouth off accusing Obama of not standing up for Democracy and being more forceful with Iran which would be absolutely stupid. In response Obama says Republican cam make their ineffectual unuseful noise but he is not listening to them. He is the President and is in direct contact with the reformers in Iran. They are telling him he is doing exactly the right thing for Them!

* There were more helicopters flying over Iran yesterday than any other day since this crisis for the people started as the Government tried to stop people from attending services for Neda. That really is cold and sick! They are trying to disperse the still forming protesters. People better carry something to cover their heads and bare skin. Remember helicopters were flying over head dropping acid on the people the other day.

* Now that the Guardian Council has come out and admitted that there was 50 States with stuffed Ballots one State showing 140% of the residents cast votes, calls for a revote now have credence. Ahmadinejad will be gone but Khamenei will have a chance to save his position that is now in jeopardy as he no longer has any authority with the people. He has as out if he wants it!

* People though are starting to question that made the old Guard work. the regime better go out of their way to not kill any more people. You know, having said that I believe they realize it as I was watching the Basij beating a man with clubs and hearing reports that they were firing over head to disperse the crowds and not into them. At this point events are turning against the current regime and the shoe is now on the other foot. They not the people better do what they can to keep this from ratcheting up. It is getting beyond them. Good!

* This is no longer a unified Government and they did it themselves. This is not a normal protest. This is now one faction against the other. Iranian Women are on the front line in this. Iranian's have a name for it but in English they are known as line women and do they ever stand their ground. I listened to one woman saying go ahead beat me while they were clubbing her as she took their pictures and turned them into CNN. She is now in bed recovering!

* One woman was screaming as her 5 year old son was being beaten. If you watched Iran TV you would think everything is fine as that is what they are saying along with saying all the shops are open. * They are calling the protesters terrorist while in fact they are the terrorists. The protesters are in turn telling the world to get it out that they are not terrorists. They just want freedom and the truth to be known about the lie they are living. They want Iran Right! This is not a political issue but is a human rights issue!

* Musavi is urging supporters to carry black candle with green ribbons around them to mourn those killed. He wants them to drive with their lights on in a show of unity. Musavi supporters protest are fighting for equal rights and the presidency. At the same time Rafsanjani is running a campaign to unseat the Supreme Leader "Khamenei" * Iran's assembly of Experts are split as to what to do now and this is critical! Some are in favor of Khamenei and some are against him. They have the final say as to who is the Supreme Leader from what I understand.

* In closing, You can see the dynamics are increasingly against the current Theocracy. This division at the very top has not been seen in 30 years. The protesters in order to succeed must have help from the top and they are beginning to get it. Iran will not be the same country when this ends! Having said that one protester said we are getting rid of this regime that failed us. We will do it right this time. We will not fail Iran!
