Review: LA Girl HD Concealer

I freaking love these concealers. I bought them for $1.99 from ikatehouse.com. Shipping cost for $2-4? For reference, I am NC40 right now..

Creamy Beige: subtle highlighted look
Pure Beige: Brightening, natural for work
Medium Bisque: Seems similar to NW25. Still need to play with it
Medium Beige/Cool Tan: Perfect for my face
Warm Honey: perfect for around my mouth pigmentation (since it has a lot of orange)
Fawn: Lovely as a contour. Was a bit too dark for my pigmentation

Lid: MAC Layin Low paint pot. MAC Swiss Chocolate
Upper lashline: Any black kohl (I used Stila Onyx Kajal). Smudge out with MAC Espresso
Crease: (defined to blown out order) Start with MAC Swiss Chocolate, blend with MAC Brown Script, then MAC Texture, then MAC Rule
Browbone: MAC Shroom

Crease: Start with MAC Soft Brown (blown out), above crease MAC Texture. In crease: MAC Brown Script. Define the crease MAC Swiss Chocolate
Outer V: MAC Swiss Chocolate, darkened with MAC Espresso
Highlight inner V: MAC Shroom.
Browbone: MAC Shroom, then blend with MAC Brule to soften it

What do you think? Sophisticated enough? :-)

Haul: Milani bright, bold lipsticks

Sweet Nectar - bright matte popsicle orange. I quite like it on my skintone. I like to bronze my self up to NC45-ish, and the color looks gorgeous!

Hot Pink Rage - OMG! I freaking love this color. Folks say its a dupe for MAC Candy Yum Yum. I dont have the MAC color, so who knows! It's a beautiful bright pink. It seems neutral pink on my lips (not too strong blue or orange based pink)

Uptown Mauve - lovely purple. It has more purple than MAC Girl about Town. It has a bit too much purple that it makes my pigmentation around my mouth look gray. Will play with it some more..

I am loving simple pink champagne lid colors with LOADS of mascara and smoked liner.

What did I use:

Lid: MAC Naked Lunch
Crease: MAC Cork and Saddle
Upper lashline: MAC Blacktrack gel liner, smudged with MAC Carbon
Mascara combo: CoverGirl lash clumper (green tube), MUFE smokey lashes, CoverGirl LashBlast 24hr. Comb lashes with a metal comb. Curl lashes (carefully!)

Yes, my obsession with bright lips continues. I am shocked really since I have been a neutral gal for so long.. It's a gorgeous blue based fuschia pink. I line my lips with NYX Fuschia lip liner, fill them in with Girl About Town, and then blot. I like wearing my bold lips as a stain/matte. It really brightens my face. It's a MUST HAVE for Indian NC40-44 skintones

Thanks for writing, I LOVE getting questions/emails from you guys.

I tend to use MAC Gingerly blush, or MAC Equilibrium blush for everyday when I dont want any shimmer on my face. On weekends, or when shimmer is okay, I love MAC Comfort MSF.

Benefit Hoola is really pigmented, so I use it for a heavy contour. I got the Sleek contour kit on Medium that I like for heavy contour as well. I wish I had bought the Sleek on in Light for everyday.

NYX Taupe was too gray on me.

Face moisturizers - I have really dry sensitive skin. I am quite enjoying LRP Nutritic Rich cream

Diacneal is my HG treatment. It has not been replaced by TriAcneal

The Nivea creams are just wonderful for dry, cracked hands!

Nuxe dry oil is so LUXURIOUS! The balm leaves a mattish-texture

I prefer this micellar water to Bioderma!

Eye cream: Etude House Collagen (South Korea)
Face cream: Etude House Collagen (South Korea)
Sunscreen: La Roche Posay Spray (Canada)

PM:

Cleansing oil: Neutrogena (Hong Kong)
Cleanser: Olay foaming for sensitive skin (USA)
Treatment: I alternate between M2 and Avene Diacneal (skincarerx.com, USA)
Moisturizer: Oilatum Natural Face Repair (UK)

WEEKLY:
To remove the dead skin generated by M2/Diacneal, I exfoliate with a physical scrub every weekend.
