Memorial Day weekend just arrived and the list of things that I need to do is like humongous (LOL)!! Many many things need to be prepared for my trip to Brazil, which is coming up really soon and I also need to get everything ready for the boys to be by themselves in the house for 20 days...yup, I don't think I have enough hours or days left to get everything done on time!! But, besides all the things that need to be done, I am still hoping that I will be able to enjoy a couple of moments for me.

Feriado prolongado acabou de chegar por aqui e minha lista de coisas pra fazer é enorme!!! Tanta coisa pra terminar e deixar tudo prontinho antes da minha viagem ao Brasil! Ta chegando o dia gente...(risos) Mas, mesmo com tudo e tantos a serem feitos eu ainda sonho e tenho sim uma minha lista de desejos pro Fim de semana!! Quem sabe o gênio da lâmpada não realiza alguns dos meus desejos ;-)

That I am a fanatic for accessories is not new news!! From bracelets, to necklaces and hair accessories..you name it and I have it...and many of them I even made myself! So today, I am going to share with you my favorite hair accessories for Summer!

Que eu sou apaixonada por acessórios eu acho que já deu pra perceber!! Amo braceletes, brincos, anéis e agora estou me declarando amante dos acessórios de cabelo. Então separei alguns dos favoritos do momento, porque esse ano meninas, nós podemos usar e abusar desses apetrechos!!

Flower headbands are the hottest hair accessory of the season! I was looking for the perfect one and I found this gorgeous band a couple of weeks ago at a Blogger's event in DC. It was from a small little shop from Maryland and forgive me, but I can't remember the name of the store :(

Tiara de Flores, acho que é o acessório mais "hot" do momento! Já fazia um tempo que eu estava a procura de uma tiara e acabei encontrando essa belezura num encontro de blogs aqui em DC. Não é linda, meninas??!! Comprei de uma lojinha que vende roupas estilo "vintage", mas me perdoem, eu esqueci o nome da loja :(

Spikes além de serem divertidos, também dão um ar mas, vamos dizer "sexy"! Eu optei pelo que tinha uma mistura de cristais e pérolas pra dar um ar mais de mocinha rebelde!! Não que eu seja rebelde...acho que passo muito longe disso!

I'm addicted to these color bands!! I bought my first set almost 2 years ago at a Luck Brand Store..Yup, I know it's kind of weird to buy hairbands from a blue jeans store!! But, I got hooked up to them right away, especially since I wear my hair up everyday!

Simplesmente sou viciada nesses elásticos coloridos de cabelo! Principalmente o que está na direita! Descobri essa maravilha à quase dois anos atrás na loja da Lucky Brand que vende calça jeans (risos). Depois desse dia nunca mais usei outro tipo. Ele não quebra o cabelo e é ótimo para o dia a dia. Os elásticos da esquerda comprei recentemente, e só uso para sair.

Everyone should own some bow accessories! They can be for your hair, a ring, or a necklace and they are very very girly...and so what!!

It's All About the Bag

Do you know those type of days that the only thing that matters is what bag you are going to use...so yesterday I was feeling like this and my neon cambridge bag was begging to go outside :) I've had this bag for over a year, so I was thrilled to see neon colors came back on full force this summer. The bag is bright and fun, just perfect with my "blue napkin" shorts!! LOL. That is exactly what my husband calls these shorts. He says they look like a well folded dinner napkin!! I bought this pair of shorts almost 2 months ago, with no idea that they would became a fever in the blogsphere and to be honest, it took a couple days for me to get them out of my closet, because I was kind of tired of seeing them all over the Internet. Despite my husband's "jokes" I still think they are really cute!! How about you, what do you think about these geometric style of shorts?

Sabe aquele dia que não importa a roupa e sim a bolsa?! Pois é, ontem estava me sentindo assim, e a minha bolsa neon estava implorando pra sair do meu closet. Eu comprei essa bolsa no inicio do ano passado e fiquei super feliz em ver essa trend de volta para o verão de 2013. Ela é super "iluminada" vamos que assim dizer, divertida... e realmente com ela você não precisa de muito acessórios ou muita cor(risos). Então, pra complementar esse look, decide usar esse shorts azul (guardanapo - e assim que meu marido chama) que estava guardado no meu guarda-roupa e blusa branca básica! Quando eu comprei esse shorts dois meses atrás, logo quando chegou na Zara, eu não tinha ideia que ia virar febre na internet e desejo de consumo. E vocês, gostam de ditar a roupa do dia pela bolsa?? E o que vocês acham desses cortes geométricos nas roupas? Aprovado?

Last Friday's weather was just fabulous...sunny and not too hot, with a nice little breeze during the late afternoon! It was the perfect weather for this little red skirt!

I have been a skirt lover since I was a little girl and I definitely have to blame my mom for this "condition!" I remember on the weekends she used to make skirts for me to go to school or to go out with my friends. These are some great memories, so skirts are definitely one of the key pieces in my closet for all seasons.

Boa tarde gente, tudo bom?? Semana passada a sexta-feira estava linda e maravilhosa...um sol, e o céu azul, azul! Aproveitei pra estreiar essa mini saia linda vermelha que já estava no meu closet há um bom tempo. Desde pequena eu sou apaixonada por saias, pode ser curta, comprida, no joelho... simplesmente adoro! Tudo isso é culpa da minha mãe, que fazia uma saia de cada cor pra mim, quase todos os finais de semana...#vantagem de ser pequena (risos).

...10 Wonderful Years

Good Morning Everyone!! Today's post is really special...you probably already noticed my wedding pictures, which btw were taken by a very close friend who wanted to record the behind scenes activity of the wedding, while the real photographer took the "official" pictures. But these pictures here are for a very special occasion tomorrow my husband and I are celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary!! Time sure does fly ...10 wonderful years filled with joy, with so many adventures and a gorgeous little boy that has fulfilled our lives even more. I don't know how I can express my love for you and how much you complete me. We are so compatible; in every thought, every new idea and even about what to eat for dinner (LOL). We are just made for each other. I love you very much and am looking forward to many more years to come. I hope you guys have a fantastic weekend!!

I'm so excited for the summer that is coming up and an upcoming trip back home to Brazil!! So, it's time to start picking my summer favorites and thinking about what to put in my beach bag. I completely love the ombre dress...I need it now!! The Panama hat is a must have and the shades are super fun.What is on your beach wish list?

The Mini Bags

The mini bag invaded the fashion world during the recent Fashion Weeks, but I have to confess that I am the type of girl that LOVES oversized bags...and if you could take a pic in my closet you will only see the bigs ones over there (LOL)...except for clutches of course. But when I was walking in the mall last Saturday, I just fell in love with a tiny little bag, the Loeffler Randall Rider Mixed-Media Mini Crossbody..OMG it is so cute!!! I love the way it's so structured and has so many small little details. I just might have to surrender to the dark side and bring one of these little babies to my closet. I hope the big girls in my collection don't get jealous.

As mini bags invadiram as passarelas e as semanas de moda no mundo ineteiro, mas te confesso que eu sou daquele tipo que adora bolsa grande... e se você tivesse a oportunidade de dar uma olhadinha no meu closet, só dá elas por lá! risos...a não ser as clutches, lógico!! The Little Blue Dress

Good morning everyone!! I hope you guys had a fantastic weekend, just like I did! Filled with love and surrounded by my family; my Mother's Day was just wonderful. I can't believe that five years ago I became the Mom of a precious little boy. It's amazing how your life changes for the better when you become a Mom :)

So, to celebrate this day we decided to use of my son's favorite color: Blue! But can I confess something to you...it's one of my favorite colors too, as you guys have probably already noticed in some of my earlier posts here, here and here. Since it was a windy day, I threw on a light jacket and closed the look with my favorite bag. I am hypnotized by the gorgeous contrast of the cobalt blue against my new pink bag! I just can't get enough of both of these colors!

Bom Dia Gente! Espero que o final de semana de vocês tenha sido maravilhoso, assim como o meu!! Dia das Mães foi cercado de muito carinho e das pessoas que eu amo demais! E eu mal posso acreditar que já se passaram 5 anos... Ser mãe é a melhor coisa do mundo!!

Para celebrar esse dia, decidi usar a cor favorita do meu filho: Azul! Mas vou te confessar que ela é também uma das minhas cores favoritas, como vocês já devem ter notado aqui, aqui e aqui. Como estava um ventinho chato, coloquei uma jaqueta bem leve para me proteger, e para fechar o look, a minha bolsa preferida do momento. Eu estou hipnotizada nos últimos dias pelo contrate de cores entre o azul e o pink!! Amando essa combinação :)

Mother's Day is right around the corner and of course we could not miss the opportunity to create a gift list for our favorite Moms in the world. I love accessories and so does my Mom. She loves my bracelets, necklaces and everything that is either trendy or classic. So, today I am going to share one of my favorite accessory designers, which you have seen on Ana In Style a couple of time (here, here and here). Since I always talk about looks, shoes and bags, I decided to switch things up a little bit and share a beauty product that I bought a month ago. It is the Airflash Brume de Teint Éclat et Légéreté Spray Foundation from Dior and let me tell you girls, this product is fantastic!!

Bom Dia gente!!! Espero que o final de semana tenha sido maravilhoso! Hoje no Papo de Blogueira nosso assunto é sobre um "achado" que encontramos e adoramos. Eu resolvi mostrar um produto de beleza, que estou realmente amando!! Há um mês atrás eu comprei a base "Brume de Teint Éclat et Légéreté Spray Foundation" que e da linha AirFlash da Dior. Meninas, é simplesmente de se apaixonar!

This foundation is so versatile that it can be used for all different levels of coverage, from very light to full coverage. You control the level of coverage by how much of the product you decide to apply to your skin. In addition, one of the other great features of this product is that it gives you a very natural look and it is really easy to apply. One tip; don't spray the product directly on your face, instead use a foundation brush to apply it to your skin. Currently, I am using the Sigma Flat Angled Kabuki - F88 TM, which is a very good brush for this type of application. I just love this foundation! If you are currently searching for one, I definitely recommend it.

Essa base pode ser usada tanto como um cobrimento leve, médio ou pesado, fica totalmente a seu critério, e ela deixa a pele com um ar super natural. Essa base já está no mercado há algum tempo, mas nunca me interessei em testar, até que a representante da Dior me conveceu. E realmente a base e simplesmente #maravilhosa. Para a aplicação: como ela é uma base em aerosol, pode ser espirrada diretamente no seu rosto, mas eu não recomendo. Use com um pincel de ângulo, no momento eu estou usando esse que ganhei da Sigma, o F88 Flat Angled Kabuki, que é excelente para esse tipo de aplicação. Eu espirro um pouco da base diretamente no pincel e espalho bem sobre o rosto. Super fácil de aplicar e deixa a pele perfeita. O único problema é o preco da base no Brasil... quase cai de costa... nas lojas ela é vendida pela #bagatela de R$244 reais!! Minha nossa..uiii #quase infartei! Nos USA você pode comprá-la pelo precinho $62 dólares. Infelizmente, esse é o nosso Brasil de inflações escondidas.

Orange and Pink...it was a color blocking kind of day!! Can I tell you how much I love this outfit! The skirt was already a hit, the pink neon shirt is classic and fun, the addition of my new baby the 3.1 Phillip Lim bag, and to top it all off my new necklace from Carolee.

I love every single piece in this outfit! How about you, do you like to play with color blocking?

Hello everyone, I hope your weekend was full of good and vibrant energy. Today on Bloggers Talk, we are going to share with you our dream product, which we "can't find around here," so let's just say "imported from another country." It was really easy for me to figure out which "dream product" to share with you guys. Since I'm a shoe lover, nothing could be better than to share my favorite shoe designs from my country. The name of the designer is Luiza Barcelos and I think she has one of the most beautiful and well designed shoes in Brazil. Unfortunately, you can't find her shoes here in the USA....but since I'm on my way to Brazil for a number of Blogger's conferences, I'm definitely putting it on my list to stop by the store and pick up a couple of pairs of these fantastic sandals!! All of the rich details and mix of different textures and colors makes these shoes just so unique...and lots of Brazilian fashion bloggers swear by how comfortable they are!! So, they are definitely a must have. How about you, do you have any "imported" product that you would love to have?

Aiaiaiai...mas vamos lá então... hoje no Papo de Blogueira nós vamos falar sobre o "Importado dos Nossos Sonhos". Como eu moro fora, não tem nem graça falar de produtos de beleza porque eu tenho a facilidade de comprá-los por aqui sem fazer um rombo bancário (risos). Então, o meu escolhido foi um produtinho, vamos assim dizer, um sapatinho bem brasileiro, bem "mineirinho minha gente"!!! São o sapatos da Luiza Barcelos que realmente são DIVINOS!! Já não é de hoje que venho cobiçando esses sapatos, mas infelizmente não existe aqui nos USA para comprar. Acho os detalhes dos sapatos maravilhosos, e dizem as "mais famosas" que o sapatos são super confortáveis. Bom, eles estão na minha lista de desejos faz um tempão, mas com certeza com a minha ida ao Brasil no início de Junho para os Encontros de Blogueiros que estarei participando, com certeza darei uma paradinha básica na loja da Luiza Barcelos e trazer comigo algumas dessas lindezas pra curtir aqui no verão dos USA!! Who doesn't like a hot fuchsia color?? I love it and best of all it's always in style. This shirt is a perfect example of that, I bought it almost 7 years ago and it is still in perfect shape and still in fashion! I had totally forgotten about it, until I found it last week lost in my closet! I decided to wear it with my animal print pants, since it was a chilly Saturday and it was the perfect pairing! And let's not forget the #georgeous Tom Ford Sunglasses, one of my new acquisitions ! I already snapped some pictures and shared them on Instagram, but today is the official debut on Ana in Style. For whoever has an Instagram account, don't forget to follow Ana in Style there too!

Que mulher não gosta da cor pink?! Eu adoro, acho lindo e nunca sai de moda! Essa blusa mesmo já tem mais de sete anos, e continua linda e maravilhosa! Eu tinha até me esquecido dela... tadinha!! Combinei ela com a calça de animal prints, estava meio friozinho no sábado, então a combinação foi perfeita para o dia... e não vamos esquecer do óculos #bafo da Tom Ford! Lindo de morrer, não é? Yes, I know it's Spring time here in the USA, but Fall just started in Brazil and since many of my readers are Brazilian, I decided to share a tip with them for their upcoming Winter in Brazil. My favorite tip for Winter is, don't be afraid to use colors during Winter time! So, to my brazilian readers, be bold and be colorful this coming winter!!

Como o meu cantinho aqui é mais sobre looks e tendências da nossa moda, nada mais justo do que uma dica sobre moda! Bom, pra esse inverno não tenha medo de cores. Normalmente acabamos usando muitas cores escuras no Inverno, mas tente combinar com uma peça colorida e quebre a rotina do preto. Casacos, saias e calças coloridas são ótimas opções para o inverno!!

Good Morning Everyone!! I can't believe that it is Friday already and I don't know where my week went!! Time is flying :) Spring has definitely arrived and I am enjoying every single minute...the days are gorgeous and when the sun goes down the cool temperature arrive..I just love that! So, for this kind of weather a trench coat works great for me. In particular I am loving this one from Loft. It is really light weight, it is not too long and the combination of the black and off-white stripes is just gorgeous! Wishing everyone a wonderful weekend!

Bom Dia Gente!! Nem acredito que a sexta-feira já chegou e fim de semana tá ai... O tempo tá passando muito rápido!! Bom falando em tempo, a primavera chegou de vez e os dias estão lindos por aqui! Durante o dia faz calor e quando vai chegando o final da tarde, a temperatura vai caindo novamente, perfeito para o uso de trench coats! O trench coat normalmente não é pesado, mas ajuda bastante a te proteger do vento e da noites mais geladas. Para o Brasil, eu arriscaria dizer que você pode usar tranquilamente no Inverno, já que o inverno brasileiro não é tão rigoroso em alguns Estados. Esse que eu estou usando é da loja Loft, e estou amando ele. As listras que estão em alta no momento e as cores que é um quase bege com preto, que é uma conbinação perfeita e que você pode usar em várias ocasiões. Desejando a todos um excelente Final de Semana!

If you think striped pants might be a little too much for you, opt for a striped blouse instead and pair it with black pants or a skirt. How to accessorize your work outfits

If you have a passion for fashion, then you are probably tired of having to wear plain, sensible and somewhat boring suits to work on a daily basis. Well, now is your chance to jazz up your work clothes because I have put together a few style tips to help you make the most of your outfits.

It is amazing how a splash of color and a few accessories can really jazz-up your work clothes, making your outfits look much more feminine. I work on construction sites, so I normally have to wear black pants, construction boots and a hard hat, but I always manage to brighten up my uniform with a scarf or some accessories. Changing your hairstyle is another way you can create different looks - for some inspiration, why not check out some hairstyles in Vogue magazine, or look at the models on sites like Rush.co.uk.
Jewellery
For the office, avoid large or chunky jewellery and instead opt for delicate and feminine items like pearls, thin belts, and brooches. They compliment suit jackets as well as shirts. You can add a touch of sparkle to your outfit by sporting a sequined clutch.

Shoes
As a fashion-fanatic, you'll know that the shoes are the foundation of any outfit. So when it comes to choosing the right work shoes, make sure they're comfy but stylish too. A cute pair of kitten heels can easily make any outfit look more feminine. Plus, shoes can either glam-up or down dress an outfit; if you have a party or an engagement straight after work, simply swapping your shoes for some sparkly stilettos from your plain black work pumps really jazzes up your outfit.

Brooches
You can add a touch of sparkle to your work outfit by wearing a brooch. Brooches are sophisticated and delicate accessories which elegantly compliment a suit jacket or a smart shirt.

Winter scarfs
If you're like me and you are often out on site, then accessories like brooches and heels are not suitable. That's why I love wearing brightly colored scarves and hats. Not only do they add a splash of color to your outfit, but it makes it appear more feminine too.

Hello Everyone. I hope you guys had a fantastic weekend! Today on Bloggers Talk we are going to share with you our favorite bag of the moment! For me, it is a little complicated to pick only ONE bag to show you, since I am a "bagaholic", I do love to buy new bags! It is definitely my weakness. Since I had to choose, I picked out the two bags that are my favorites for the moment.

Oi gente, tudo bom? Espero que o final de semana de vocês tenha sido fantástico! Hoje, no Papo de Blogueiras, nós vamos compartilhar com vocês a nossa bolsa favorita do momento! Para mim é difícil escolher apenas uma...#complicado... porque eu sou uma "bolsaholic"!! É definitivamente uma das minhas fraquezas (risos). Mas, eu separei as 2 mais usadas no momento.

The first one: the animal print one is from Milly and I just love this bag. It is the kind of bag that goes with pretty much everything. The two things I like the most about this bag, besides the animal print, are: 1) If I get tired of carrying the bag in my had, I can use it as a shoulder bag, since it comes with a long strap that is easily attached and then I can have my hands free, and 2) For its size, it is a light bag. I really love this bag and you can be sure that I will continue to carry it during the upcoming summer months.

My second favorite is my newest acquisition from Coach. I love the coral color...it just screams Spring to me!! I fell in love with her and I definitely had to have her, especially after I found out the price of the bag :) I can never leave a good deal behind!

A primeira é a de Animal Print. Ela é da Milly e eu adoro essa bolsa. Ela tem um tamanho bem legal, cabe muita coisa nela, e tem duas coisas nela que eu adoro (além do animal print): o primero é que, se eu cansar de ficar segurando ela nas mãos, eu posso rapidamente colocar a alça comprida e usá-la no ombro, e assim eu posso ter as minhas mãos livres para qualquer outra coisa; e a segunda coisa é que ela é uma bolsa super leve em comparação ao seu tamanho. Amo essa bolsa, e você pode ter certeza que vou continuar a usá-la no verão.

A segunda bolsa é a minha mais nova aquisição. Ela é da Coach e eu simplesmente me apaixonei pela cor dela!! A cor Coral gritou Primavera para mim! #meapaixonei e não resisti, principalmente depois de descobrir o precinho super camarada dela: peguei ela na promoção com 60% de desconto.
