ello there!!! I am baaaaaaaaack LOL. I am still working with 1/2 of my things out of place. I had a little trouble in my space…nice sounds of waterfall woke me up for a nightmare in my studio! Well water under the bridge…or maybe under my paper cutter LOL.

My project today feature a cute little thing called baby jake from Saturated Canary…what a talented lady. Check it out!

I colored Jake with copic markers. Yeap the polka dots pattern is not paper piecing..it is good old copics lol. I looove doing that.

My dp is EP paper (yours trully) and KI memories (enchanted). The diaper embelie I made myself…Aweee ain’t that cute…glad it is not real LOL…hehe. I distressed the edges a little bit to show the form a better. The sentiments are tiny embossing folders from Cuttlebug. I really enjoy collecting these folders, since they come handy for my projects. The babt messy distress..made on purpose LOL…was created using chalk inks..from colorbox.

Need more reasons to finally make the jump and sign up for Suzanne’s classes?…HA..just keep going hoping around…you will see how coloring can be fun and simple!!!!

The Color Me Creative Design Team has a secret!!! Today we are hopping along to wish our fearless leader (Oh gosh Tinahhhhh…fearless leader? What the heck….Is this Star Wars or something? Who are we Jedi? LOL See Su this is Tina (BANANA)’s fault I would say lovely and darling LOL), Suzanne Dean, a VERY happy birthday!!! Suzanne is the owner/creator of the Color Me Creative site and, as many of you know, teaches her Copic classes online and on the road! She is one busy momma and we thought we'd take time to wish her a happy day and hope she gets to sit with her Cherry Coke and donuts (ya, a fav combination of hers!) and relax a bit today and enjoy the hop!
Each of us from the DT decided it would be fun to remember Suzanne today in "typical Suzanne" style! Our creations will either help remember a "funny travel moment" with Suzanne or... share a secret about Suzanne. Ha!!! Bet she didn't see this coming!!! LOL
Here is what I created today....

appy happy birthday BFF!!! Today is Suzanne’s bday and the cmc was in cahoots to do something nice for Su…well she is a nice gal and deserve all the pretty things in the world LOL. I hope you are having a sweet unforgettable time in Vegas BABY!!! LOL.

It sounds cliché and everyone says it, but there is a truth to the saying “ I have met and made good friends in this craft world”. Well thanks to the virtual craft world I met Su…sharing creations learning a lot from her and her super coloring skills. Our crazy schedules and passion for what we do and believe in built the bases for the friendship. I have learned a whole lot from this gal…and anytime we have a chance to be together we do make it count. We do have fun! You see… she even got room here ready with her name on the door and everything..lol.

Okay so everyone knows Suzanne teaches all over the US and Canada…Off she goes teaching coloring on the road! Now everywhere she goes she carry her DT with her..kinda of…LOL. Well last year we gave her a Zebra pattern suitcase set LOL. We thought she should travel in style…The gal love Zebbies as she calls the pattern . So now Suzanne won’t loose her luggage at the airport’s belt ever! Honestly I wanted to upgrade the suitcase and equip with air bags…lol. Okay I do have a reason for this brilliant idea (if I might say so LOL)…I just want her well being..lol. The woman falls all over the place I tell you! Nope she doesn’t drink…it is embed on her code..she just POOF…flies… literally! LOL Sometimes she is lucky and lands on people…like ehh let’say…I say the name shall remain (the poor person ) incognito HAHAH. Poor thing…must had a target X hahaah …Let’s say Suzanne is a legend around some CHA circles lol.

I cannot count the times we are chatting..(trust me our txt are miles long…she is part of an exclusive club of mine…the 1000 txt. We crossed that milestone many many months ago LOl…) anyway since we live in a weird time “work” zone…I keep company to Su sometimes while she is on her layovers in the airports…Every now and then the txt stops suddenly…and I don’t even worry…cause I know she must have landed somewhere…hopefully not ON somebody again HAHAHA. Right X? LOL.

I am just so glad I found a friend for life…I say Suzanne is Sch-pecial lol….dear lord I wonder when we are in our old age…thick glasses and texting away…HAHAH…Hopefully they will have something a bit fancier heheh…one thing I know for sure…my pal makes me smile and that is priceless! I wish her all the best..and that her success multiply times and times more! Huge hug!

Oh BTW…I got the cherry cokes chillin’ and the Boston creams are in order..So maybe we now can celebrate* OUR birthday together sometime soon HAHAHHAHA. RIGHT???!!! HAHAHHAHAHAH.

ey you! Having fun during this time of the year : )?. I cannot take my hand out of the dirt. I swear any free little time I have I run outside and go take care of my flower pots : ). I have a few flower flats to arrange in pots and I am soooo looking forward! What a pleasure to see things grow. Funny thing is…I used to say I am a biologist but…heck no woods for me LOL. Now look who is playing with dirt lol.

Today I would love to share with you my project for Oozak’s challenge blog : ). Have you come to visit yet? Oh… come on over and meet the newest DT!! Yes, we have one more designer joining us!!

This month over Oozak’s blog we are in full color mode..and the spring colors are in full bloom! The spring colors were the inspiration for my Congratulations card : ). I picked Gilli shopper to deliver my message…check it out the cool gift bag : ).

I colored my image with my trusty copics…although I am looking forward to add some Shins to my collection and mix things up.

My layout was created with My Minds Eyes Papers and regular card stock. I cut all the little banners and pennants and glued them to twine. A touch of festivity lol. I am loving piecing things like that…handy work for real .

The lace ribbon was created using Martha Stewart punches. I distress the edges and added just a little touch of stickles. The lovely swirls are Memory box dies. The tiny accent close to sentiment was made using Silhouette.

I hope you will join us over the Oozak’s challenge blog. Seriously…last month was crazy fun!!! Thank you sooo much for coming by…almost 400 entries..OMG I have never seen such a cool thing. So many beautiful creations. I cannot wait to see what you guys will come up with this time!!!

ey there! Ready for a brand new week? Let’s roll! Hopefully everything will go according with that pretty calendar/command sheet you have for your family lol. Oh geesh don’t we all know it never goes that smooth, hehe. But I am sure you will tackle the tasks like a pro and you will have some time to have a little fun in your craft paradise….You got to refill your energies at some point ; )

Since I am trying to be good and work as schedule, although you would not think this way if you see the pile of clothes I have to fold. LOL. I did make a project honoring that special woman in your life…the one that put the “mom” cap. Your sister, your aunt, a old family friend…your best friend or single dad’s too!. They all have the same wish….whatever is best for you : )

My idea was to create a little note plus a forever bouquet of flowers. So first I got a few pieces of ribbon I had from PaperTemptress and twirled and twisted to make into blossom shapes. Next I gathered all the little flowers together. Since I wanted a fell of bouquet I created a little lace wrap from a punched piece (Martha Stewart). I added tiny pearls and beads to the bouquet to make it a little more adorned.

For the base of the card I went for a classic feel to it. Nothing better then a damask dry embossing to create a delicate pattern. I really like the idea of adding a little lace touch to the card itself, so I added this punched doily strip glittered with glamour dust. To frame and tie the project together I used a gorgeous blue pearl paper from PaperTemptress. The sheen of this paper is so amazing…it has a lovely, lovely feel to it. I am going to try embossing sometime…gosh it think that would be lovely paper to do that..

So time to think of that special person..get out of the box a little bit and try something differ..a color, patter,…one thing always will stay the same. The gratitude and love for your loved one!

I make the point of thanking both my parents for all they did…and what they had to deal with while I was growing up : )..hehe We all have been teens at some point HAHAHHAHAH. So I am going to wish my amazing mom “ Happy Mother’s day”….before your air headed daughter forgets…lol. Dad you card will come soon…another project to share with you all : ).

TGIF!! Let’s have fun

ellloooo there!!! TGIF! Yeah baby! It’s Friday and it is time to play! I hope you really can do that…put your jammies on and have a ball! Jump on the couch, pull that magazine you did not have time to read yet….fire up that TiVoed show you have bee dying to see! HEhe. This is my well wishes to all of you!

All right everyone I hope you will also have some time for coloring fun! Tons of challenges around so pick some and go for it.

Gilli is already on her pj’s and sooo ready to have fun!!! I colored the image with copic markers and also used copic multiliners to create the pattern on her pj’s bottoms. Luv these pens…quite handy!

I wanted to keep this project simple and fun so I used these amazing embossing folders (darice and Lcrafts)…for some reason they feel so cozy and fun…like a girls room lol. Handmade tassels… Check out I even added little pearls and bling to make it even more girly…hehe.

Ribbon and twine from stash, sentiment tags punched used McGill scalloped tag punch distress with distress ink. Of course tags were blinged with stickles.

So what’s up with you..TGIF mood too? Let it out and roll! Come on you know you got it there! Twist things around!! You know how the saying go….

House warming

ome sweet home…aweeee…after a hard day at work..all one can thing is kick off the shoes and whatever!!!! LOL. Are you with me on that? hehe.

I actually was looking forward to some do container gardening this coming week. There is something sooo charming about some flower boxes…its romantic too!

Today I am sharing with you lovelies a little card that I created using the stamp “House of Gilli”. Yeap…there is such a thing as a Gilli home…but she can be your home too…or as in my project here the house is little gift. A house warming gift. Well, a card to go with the gift heheh. You get the idea : ).

I stamped my image and colored with my copic markers. I also used some multiliners and white pen to create some of the little details of the house. The flowers were just pretty much doodled around using different shades of the same group color. The intention was to create dimension…I will keep on trying (I am a stubborn self taught in many thing heheh). I though it would be a little cute to expose the bricks of the house through its stuco. lol..I know, gezz home depot is just nearby, right? heh. I think even “worn” old houses have charm…showing that were lived and trimmed one way or another to fit the habitants. Everything else from the stones on the steps and base wall to the moss growing in between them was created doodling with markers.

This super cute DP is from First edition, one of my new obsessions lol (Boho Chic). I distressed the edges of the papers to give a little worn look…I think I could do better but I am always afraid of ending up with too much ink…heh. The die cuts were all made using Silhouette die cutter (luuuv it – btw Suzanne Dean cave in hahahahha. She was thinking for the longest time…now I think she is in luv hehehh..That is my bff right there..she knows good stuff HAHAH).

A new home needs a nice set of shining keys..so I created this little key ring embellie. The keys are a silhouette cut embossed with zing!powder. Ain’t they cute! To finish up the romantic feel of this house warming gift…touches of liquid pearls…

Touch Twin Markers

Good Vibration…color bloom

o flower season is here and with it amazing smells and colors outdoors! Such a good vibe out there! Yeap, focusing on the good things…always remembering that the sun will always shine . After dormancy or turbulence good things always bloom!!

Good vibes is what I felt when I first came across to this amazing color scheme. Yellows and Corals..such a happy way to start the week right? The color scheme is from a paper pad called Hideaway from First Edition. I fell for this line of paper when I saw in person at CHA Summer. Trust me it is a delight and you want them all…oh dear…lol

The layout of this card was also inspired by the cute blooms spread all over the dp. Gilli Florist got an matching outfit, perfect nevertheless for picking up some flower over the garden center . I colored the image with copic markers and added a few twists like the “crochet”edges by using a white pen. Since in the original image the basket is empty I added a few flower by just doodling a few colors and filling up the basket with white/rose blooms.

The paper punch used is from Martha Stewart (I have seen a memo box die that has a similar edge). All parts were distressed with Distress inks. My little detail on the lace edge was made with two colors of liquid pearls. I loved loved the new cantaloupe color..it is a nice shade. The center of this base a “flower” shape is a fun cut from nestability. I stamped and cut Gilli out of it. My little sentiment was made by hand…I am getting more and more to do things just old fashion…specially my details. I have so much fun!

I hope it is all blooming with you out there..if not just hang in there we are sending you good vibes! For now pick up a white piece of paper and make it happy!

Yellow Flowers

ello ladies and Gent! I hope you are all having a nice and joyful weekend ; ). Today I am sharing with you a new project I created for the CMC challenge group. Oh, by the way do you know you can use any kin dof alcohol markers. So grab your copic, prismas and shins…etc etc.. lol and come play with us!

This week we are working with a lovely image from tiffany Doodles. Talented artist. I am sure you can find a super cool image to play with there : ). Mine is called Dogwood. I like dogwoods and I have not seen a yellow one lol…but hey it is fantasy word right…although my botany teacher wouldn’t be happy at all lol. I used copic markers to color this cutie. Very simple yellow combo…I build the colors trying to give a little depth and more texture to the petals. I still have to work my skills better in this area…but I think it came out good : ). Yeah? LOL.

Paper punch from Martha Stewart and dies are Memory box dies. Paper is from Authentique paper. Wonderful share of yellow..so bright and happy : ). I distressed my edges with Distress inks. Amazingly…no bling! LOL I though the flowers were pretty enough to stand along..aside from that…glitter in dogwood would have be beyond fantasyland LOL.

Wish upon a star!

ey there! Are you ready for a new beginning? Spring is just the season…leave the worries behind get out and smell the roses! Well they are not quite blooming yet hehe..but you get the idea! Life can be overwhelming sometimes and does not do any good for us to get soooo entangled trying to solve all issues at once. So get out there re-energize and I bet that “ Monica closet” will be neat in no time after a break!!!!
So I am trying to follow my line and I made a project today just because I wanted to! Well I have a nice collection of embossing folders that I am trying to put to a good use. I really like making projects that use these simple beauties. Since the idea is for a new beginning I decide to use stars as the main focus of the project…Shine! Yeap that is what we all need to keep in mind!

To start the project I had the perfect set of stamps. Gilli elements “Start set” (This is a set with 3 starts in rubber stamps). Since I wanted the color of the star to pop I decided to use a lighter ink to stamp…memento london fog was just perfect for that. You can see the stamped the lines, but the light gray blend in quite well with the marker colors. This color scheme was based on the Touch twin challenge…when I saw I just fell for it! I am not a huge fan of orange but for some reason, in this project orange is making me happy!! LOL. Well back to the project. After coloring my starts I cut the stamped/colored image and added a thick coat of glossy accents from ranger. While my starts were drying I stained my ribbon with the matching copic color. I added the respective twine and glued the star with it’s respective bow. The embossed bases are from LifeStyle (form Quickcutz) and Sizzix. The “orbit”, that is how I call lol, is a punch from EK. This time I picked Ice Stickled to use as bling. The chunky glitter added a bling plus a super cool texture to the embellishment.

Since in my sky the stars hang from bows. My backdrop is “faux stitched” in space. . The embellishment I wrote and cut by hand. To add a little touch and tie the sentiment to the whole project I used the left overs twine (that was used on the top).
I had a good time making a project that helped me unwind and remind me that sometimes its okay to let it go. Stop and re –energize and day dream! We are all just humans… Betty Davis said it all..”Why wish for the moon when we can have all the stars..” Something like that LOL…Now it is your turn to wish…upon your star!!!!

Your Day…here comes the bride.

o temperatures on the rise. Spring cleaning starting to happen all over…and plans lots of new plans for all kinds of spring activities are about to bloom. Among of all these special moments, weddings are of course in high. Who would not take advantage of all these beautiful fresh blooms to adorn a beautiful ceremony…seriously sometimes I think you can pretty much can have a perfect place in any corner . So based on this idea I decided to give a heads up on wedding cards…May brides ( I know it’s April, but I m trying to be good and think ahead lol).
It’s your day…and I picked Gilli Bride and Bouquet to make this wedding project (It would be a cute gift in a wedding shower too, don’t you think?). Gilli was colored with copic markers. For the added pearl details I used Liquid pearls from ranger. I also doodle a little “emboidery” on the peak-a-boo part of the wedding gown with my copic multiliners. Of course little brides needs to shine on…so for some “diamond” start feel I added tiny dots of stickles in a randon dot partern over the veil. I also added some stickles over the embroidery part of the dress.
Now I have to say I am in owe with the color of the cardstock I used. It’s linen papers from PaperTemptress. This is an exceptionally hard ( I found to be personally) color to find. I checked a lot and finally came across at Patricia’s store. It is a mauve color that works beautifully with soft tones palletes. In my crazy little head that is what I was looking for on a “Modern and romantic bride feel” . All the little lace work are made from cutting and gluing parts of different Martha Stewart punches. I absolutely loved loved doing that….and I hope I will help open your eyes for those tiny scraps lol. To make the lacy feel more real I used vellum also from Paper Temptress. The Pearlized vellum is just scrumptious and perfect for this type of project (it handled the punch cuts very well too I might add). I added a bit of chalk ink and a touch of stickles to the edges of the laces.

Hi! Hi! Here we go!!!! Oozak’s blog Challenge #1

I there! So glad to have you here over my blog! Today is a very exciting day for me and for some buddies of mine! Today we officially have the #1 challenge over Oozak’s blog! Now talking about being fortunate!! I have been having a great time with Melanie and Rusty while the house was put in order for all Oozak’s friends come and join! It is a honor to share the coord with Mel and have such a good boss as Rusty..he he. These two are a riot! I cannot wait to meet the new dts! After a lot of back stage work now it is time to get things going!
Also make sure to go through the whole post….I have a little something over..all the wayyyyy down there LOL. Okay! Let’s get started!
Since I first saw this paper pad I fell for it. The colors were just so sweet and fresh in a new whole way! So, the Prima (Almanac) paper pad was the inspiration source for my #1 project for Oozak. The corals (lots of distress and roses in it..dark browns too on the pad. Yummy all the way) are just so delightful. I will use this pad till the end for sure LOL. From the tones of the paper I drawn the whole card feel. I chose Gilli Fairy 2 as my image (Sorry folks store still under construction…if you would like to get any Gilli Rubber Stamp just shoot me an email). As you can see Fairy lost her wings and became a cute sweet little gal…sitting pretty on a flower wreath (MemoryBox Dies). I was able to inject some spring color by coloring the wreath with very light tones of copics.

To add to the feel of the card I used distress inks all over my paper edges. I love this a tidy worn look. I try keep the whole damask feel of the card and also dry embossed the die cut under Gilli (Spellbinder nestability). The lacy scalloped edges were created with Ek punches. Finally my personal touch..yeap stickles Gilli dress has some touches of the bling. Cute little corner frames (Memory Box Dies) that looks like butterflies (with tiny pearls to top) to wrap up!

Flourished Wishes

Hello my lovely friends. How wonderful is to be breathing the spring fresh air….and sneeze with the pollen lol. Yeah allergies get me too but honestly I love spring anyway…flowers sneaking in about everywhere. Of course the colors have a super influence on me as you can see on my new project.
You can see the spring influence of on my choice of colors. Yellow! Super happy color with a perfect vibe to wish Best Wishes don’tcha think? .
If you are into Su cardstock, you must check out PaperTemptress Pop Tones (she has two different paper weights). I am using a super cute yellow called Banana Split (kinda feel like having one right about now lol), These papers embossed beautifully without tearing. I just really liked this yellow shade…and I am already making plans to use in combination with some DP paper I got.
For this project I used three different embossing from Sizzix, Cuttlebug and SU, I made a commitment to myself and use my embossing folders a little more in my creations. Even though I wanted to use lots of yellow on my project…I could not resist adding this super pretty Blue ribbon also from Paper Temptress. I think it really wrap the good wish…right? Then bouquet of flowers are a combo of prima and recollection flowers. I kind of dyed the center flower with distress inks for a little pop. The swirls are Memorybox dies with a nice coat of glamour dust…you really didn’t think I was going to pass the bling…lol. Die cuts by silhouette and punched edge by Martha Stewart (all dusted with Glamour).

ellooooo everybody!!! anaRy here! Thank you so much for coming by and celebrate CMC 2nd Bday! As a senior DT I am so honored and happy to help my lovely friend Suzanne with this celebration! At CMC I have made so many friends and have learned so much! What a great place to come and have some pure fun!

You just came from Steph’s blog right? Let me guess…you were blown away with her talent right? I knew it! The CMC DTs gals are such a great bunch!

Now it is my turn to share my birthday project! I went girly all the way! LOL. Using pinks and a touch of coral to give the project fresh look : ). A girl got to try right? LOL. I used Gilli Lollipop for this project. As you will notice there is a tiny difference…Gilli lost her lollipops and got balloons! Well a bday party has to have some balloons, agreed? hehe.

My image (gilli rubber stamp) was colored with copic markers. To create the polka dot pattern I used white pen over the colored image.

I created the balloons by using my copic multiliners. The ballons were colored with copic markers and then added a heavy coat of glossy accents over it. I cut around the balloons and added the cords to create the dimensional effect. All the paper edges were distressed with Distress inks. I added a touch of stickles at the edges of the punched pieces (Martha punches). The sentiment piece and the cute vintage base for Gilli are cuts from Silhouette library (luuuuvv this tool). Papers by lilly Bee designs.

I hope you enjoyed my little Birthday project! Now it is time for you to head off to my buddy Tina….get ready to have your eyes pop! Tina is super creative! I am sure you will be super inspired!!!

o you? LOL A little joke with my lil’ project for St. Patrick’s day. When I say little, I mean little! This card is tiny tiny measuring only 3x3” . These mini cards are a quick to make and perfect for those moments you are in a pinch and have no time for a very elaborate work, but still want something nice to gift. As you can see Lil’ Gillis are fab fab for this type of project. Yes! You do have room to color and add details just like your regular size Gilli! (if you would like to order shoot me an email anary@anary.com)

To color this mini treasure, Lil’ Gilli Jeans I used copic markers. I also used my copic multiliners to add some detail to my coloring.

The cute sentiments are from studio G. I inked the clear stamps with memento inks in various tones of green. I am a nut about memento inks.

I didn’t want to leave my edges naked so I pulled my Shabby shutter’s green pad (Distress Inks). I am trying to make more use of my distress inks…they were a little lonely in the corner of my room lol. My tiny pearls, including the tiny tiny pearl earrings on Lil’ Gilli Jeans. DPs are from recollection and Authentique papers.

The magic of spring

reaming of spring! Well, the colors actually started to pop up. I have seen some crocus and even some daring daffodils showing up! Spring here it comes, or so it seems like. LOL. I love winter but the layers get me a little bit hehe. I just cannot wait to see my beloved tulips and some neat butterflies.

Since I am longing for my favorite spring things I decide to bring them all together in one project. Butterflies, flowers and colors! I prepared this project for The paper Temptress Community Blog. The community blog is a must stop. So many cute projects from all kinds of genres.

It’s no secret my ,eh eh, admiration (more like a craze) for papers. So I picked two super nice papers from The Paper Temptress to create my project.

Vellum Mother of pearl and Lustre Paper (Laser Silver Lustre) . I just loved how I was able to emboss the vellum. The pearlescent effect that this paper have is just delightful and gives a cool touch on the project. Since the vellum is a bit on the translucent side I though it would be interesting to continue with the theme and add the lustre paper. The stripes are very elegant and gave me the opportunity to “frame” the embossed part of the project.

The rainbow line of butterflies was created by using cuts of Martha Stewart punches colored with copics. I wanted the butterflies to have a 3 d effect on this card as they were flying over the flower field. So I added glossy accents (helped with giving shape) and a touch of stickles….well butterflies are magic in my perspective..at least on this project. Lol. I just luv the effect. The lace bottom border is a Martha wide punch with a coat of glamour dust ( yeah yeah I like sparkle lol). My final touch was add a sentiment (I made a vellum tag) over a pretty sheer ribbon (also from Paper Temptress).

I hope you enjoyed this little project . My goal always is bring a little something to make my friends smile.

ream on! Dream on! That is my wish for all of you! I hope this upcoming weekend you will have a little time to do something for yourself or someone you love! Never forget your passions! Passion keeps life fun!

Working with crafts is part of my passion…I truly enjoy coloring, spraying glitter all over…lol. Oh yeah, if you come to visit…people will think you just might had gone to some kind of carnival LOL. I say in the other hand, you got a little fairy dust on ; ) .

Talking about fairies..I would love to share with you a project that I prepared a while ago. My Gilli Fairy card! For this project I colored Gilli Fairy 2. If you like to create pleats and color them, this is a good image. Not only for pleats but all kinds of other techs.

The beautiful swirls used in this project are from Memory box dies (for the fans out there Oozak.com will be carrying them – when I saw the Memo box wall at Rusty’s my jaw dropped LOL).

I wanted to give a romantic dreamy feel to this card, so I distressed all the paper edges with Distress Inks. All the cute lace paper edges are cut from Martha Stewart punches. These punches have such a classic feel to it…doesn’t it?

Now let’s talk about paper…oh dear. LOL These cuties are My Minds Eyes and Glitz paper pads (oozak). Cardstock are from Mike’s.

A rainbow of colors

ring on the color! For the past couple weeks we have been challenge to make a few projects inspired by rainbows. Gosh I know how a rainbow happens…it’s all physics. But honestly a rainbow still amazes me. Don’t get scared seeing me with my jaw dropped or smiling like a fool when I see a nice rainbow. I am glad even with tiny little ones that happens by accident when a garden hose happens to make the right spritz… That is me, a color fool! Proudly. lol

Today I am sharing with you’re a CAS (clean and simple) project. Sometimes lean and simple is a huge challenge for me. I got used to adding patterns and mixing things together. I absolutely liked this challenge. I will try again very soon lol. CAS here I come!
My card was created by using Gilli element heart stamp (first series). I stamped my image and then colored with copic markers. After I was done coloring I added a coat of glossy accents to each heart to make it shiny (okay that starts not sounding so simple..bare with me lol) and give a little more dimension. I let the gloss dry and bordered the hearts with a thin coat of stickles (yeah, you knew I would not pass the bling…lol).
The embossing background was made using a Sizzix folder (luv how deep they emboss). The lace detail is a punch by Martha. Oh I almost forgot..the ribbon….colored with copics! I told you I was a coloring fool! LOL
I guess that is how my sentiment came about (made using copic multiliners)…forever yours….all the colors of the rainbow!

Happy St. Patricks Day!

oday we are going Irish! Hey,everyone is Irish on St. Patrick’s Day! Right? LOL. It is quite fun preparing a green card! So many cute traditions on St. Patrick’s…like those sweet potatoes candy. Humm. They are yummy..and I don’t even care for Cinnamon (I know I just offended more then 1/2 of the population..but the spice makes me choke – so I do have an excuse : ) ). Oh, the Soda bread….even that Silly Green Milkshake from McDonald's. I have a very dear friend that green milkshake is her St. Patrick tradition ; ). Cheers! Every time I see that shake pops she comes to mind!

Please someone tell me what “ Erin-go-Bragh” means? I heard some explanations but I am still puzzled LOL. It sounds so funny.
As you can see I did have a good time making this card. Since I found this little sentiment from Studion G…right away I knew what Gilli I would use! Sassy Parisian Gilli! I colored Gilli with Copic markers and created a little stripped pattern on her tee using my copic multiliner (I cannot go without it - if you cannot find them locally check out oozak.com, Rusty got them all and all the trimmings). For a more fun and party like look, I added a little ruffle lace to Gilli’s skirt! Of course I had to add bling ; ). How about those shoes..yeah she is very in with her glitter pumps…Gilli’s Lebuttin LOL (matching the hat too! ).

The base and the clovers were created using the Silhouette cutter. That Celtic knot is super cute!. A cute little lace makes a frame for the base. The trellis is also from the Silhouette library.DP papers are from MME and Crate Paper. Little embellish stamps, from Studio G.

ay…hello there!

craving flower sights? I am. love the rainbow of colors that pops up every week when spring comes.

Today I am sharing with you a project I made using the luxurious papers from Paper Temptress. I had this idea in mind to make a very delicate card, but you know me, I like texture. So I run into my special folder where I keep my PT special papers and ta-da!

My best wishes card is made with Leather papers. The leather paper has just enough texture to give a very nice feel and beautiful looks to a project. To add a little extra touch I added distressing ink to the border of the paper…and this effect worked better then I expected thanks to the paper. The little leather “wrinkles”, sorry I cannot find other way to describe lol, allow the ink to go deeper into the paper adding such a rich feel to it. I was pleased. : ). My next step was creating the tiny flowers. I used a SU punch to create these little ones, but there is a catch, I used vellum. Peach velvet stripped vellum to be precise, really cute paper. At PT you will find amazing quality vellum. Don’t try this using flimsy stuff or you will get frustrated lol. So go to Patricia she has what you need..and more LOL.

The beautiful swirls are dies from memory box, and the cute sentiment cut a SU punch. I use copic multiliner to write the sentiment.

Party Nana !

delightfully funny! That is how I describe these humorous seniors images from Delia’s from “I brake for Stamps”. They crack me up. I hope someday I will be full of energy just like Champagne Pearl here. LOL What a party gal! I bet she is the terror of the senior’s center LOL.

Pearl was colored with copic markers. I used the BV family for this card…and yikkkes..gosh..Oh lordy…this is one of the groups that I have to be very cautions. I went with it anyway. I had to color her in purples…a fashionable senior do keep things matching. I personally love when I see the white hairs with that cute “purplish” (yeah I know..not a word lol) tone to it LOL.

I also used liquid pearls to give a 3d impression of Pearl’s pearls ( sorry I couldn’t resist lol). Since we are talking about a party dress here…yeah “babay” (with “a”) stikles on those lacy details on Pearl’s party dress.

CrAzY in lOvE!

otally madly crAzy in love! lol Getting in the groove for Valentine's day! Jumping with joy and feelin’ it LOL. Gilli Celtic is on the same wave!!! This past week was my birthday and I will tell you…I did fell the love!!! My best friend gather some of my close friend and throw me a surprise party…OMG!! I had not a clue!!!!!!!!!! LOL I am soooo gullible!! I was so glad to see some of my buds all gathered! They came from far away to have some fun with little me! Thank you Rami for doing this…thank you Ann, Colleen and Bill, Melanie and Charlie, Jojo!, Bonnie and April!!! Muahhh huge huge hug!!! A big shout out for Su and Marti-o that did not make it and all my other friends that leave a bit further down lol…I cannot wait one day to have all of you for a big tent party (my dream!)! They are sooo sneaky they even got me a bday gift…. if being together was not enough! Aweeee…I will share the gift soon. I will share the cards they gave me and pics too!!!
Okay back to the project HEHHE. My project today as I said before is all about luuuuuuuuuv lol. I colored Gilli Celtic, which is an also perfect image to color for St Patrick;s day..just throw some greens and color that curly hair red and you got a cute Irish gal! Not as much as the amazing one you see doing the Irish dances..OMG I love that!. One day I will see in person. Any who…
Gilli was colored with copic markers. This time I also used some of the multiliners to help me create this hand embroidery stitch on Gilli’s top. Also the multiliners were essential in the headpiece transformation! I will be sharing how to do things like that soon..anyone interested? lol. Awee and the cute knee high socks too! Easy peasy! The papers are one of my biggest finds last CHA summer….I was drooling all over their booth. First edition papers (got from Rusty at Oozak.com)…I know not new for some of you but I am still fresh in this cha thing and ohhhh gosh I am enchanted lol. I used also regular recollections cardstock and Martha Stewart punch. The pieces were distressed with distress inks and the base for Gilli is a cut using a oval nestability. The little love is part of Gilli sentiments line..it will be easy for you to see them all soon I promise lol. Love was stamped using copic and FB PITT pens. All that sparkles…stickles!
