I don’t think this University thing is fuh me nah :/

Imagine I started this blog like 3 days ago and I’m only now finishing it, on what I call a mild break from studying at the library because I’m waiting on someone to bring me my calculator. Ain’t no way I’m calculating this binomial probability distribution equation by hand, you cray? Lol. I hate exams.

Exams begin tomorrow, Thursday and within 7 days I’m done, actually, exactly 7 days. That’s great and all, except now my exams are jammed up, which I hate, but also sort of like because then I am forced to study and not in any way skylark(slack off if you didn’t know what that word means, lol) although I still do it regardless, but meaningfully and to a little extent.

I hate exams.

I have yet to actually really study for tomorrow’s own and I’m trying not to freak out about the three I have next week God willing. I mean, midterms JUST FINISHED. Ok, not really, October it finished, well, sorta, with the exception of those 2 most hated courses(Statistics and Financial Accounting) on the first day in November, but still. It feels like just now, and BAM finals. Two exams in one semester, 12 weeks, is just NOT COOL. ANDDD on top of that, to have projects, heckloads of projects and presentations worth like 4 percent, FOUR PERCENT -___________- 4 online quizzes worth 1 percent each? what's the probability of me gettin the 1percent given my studying habits? Ok, well using the conditional probability approach we solve for P(A|B) which is equal to P(A) x P(B|A) :| my words Statistics is taking me over :|

Ok back on track here, lol. See, during CAPE we had two years to learn a few books ya know, for 5 subjects yes, but everything was year long. Here? You have to learn the entire 400 page textbook and understand it, for all of your courses. *Am I still alive?* Currently I’m on page 213 in my statistics textbook and the book is over 600 pages long. *Prays for Divine Intervention for my exam* I really hope that the exam comes doable, then again Imma just be glad once it’s over. Thankfully, your GPA in your first year doesn’t count towards the GPA for your final degree. First year, is basically just a foundation, because most everyone in my faculty is doing the same 10 courses till we streamline according to our degree n the second year.

I feel like I’m writing a letter to a pen pal, letting them know how University is going. Weird. Lol

Next Semester, God willing. I NEED to deal with this UWI thing better. I started off and fluctuated really good. I would spend hours in the library. I’ve seen the library over 30 times probably, which is more than I can say for people who’ve seen it once in the three years they’ve been at UWI(You know yourself *evil grin*) And I pray next semester I get better group members, ahh group projects are the absolute WORST. But I’m not gonna ramble on about that right now. I hate exams.

Where is this chick with my calculator? Blech, back to reading.

Gym-ing it! Habit 2

So, just as a recap of last week's attempt at building a early to bed early rise study/sleep habit. [See challenge here: http://everydemonwantshispoundofflesh.blogspot.com/2012/10/early-to-bed-early-to-rise-habit-1.html ] It failed *facepalm* It was successful relatively for the first 2 days, then after that it was back to sleeping late, but that is primarily because I got home late and I was dealing with a bit of confusion with regards to school, anddddd then because on weekends I study better at night when everyone is asleep, so yea, fail :/ lol

So I paid for gym membership since the first or second day of school (aren't I the proactive student? not). I never went. lol That was due to a complication with my track membership and also a lottttt to do with my laziness. But this week, is gym week! And, well, every week, I guess. But the point is, for me to start somewhere, so I shall. So for this week, my goal is to spend a minimum of 3 hours in the gym at school.

We'll see how that goes, and, well I'm going to TRY the early to bed early rise thing again. Hopefully this time I don't fail as horribly as last week. But heyyy, there's a reason they call this a challenge! >.< but I'll get there :D

Takes about 21 days right? to make something a habit? darn it! Tough. Ah well, lol
So, I'll keep you guys informed on this one. And oooo,I thought of doing a vlog challenge, consecutive vlogging for a set amount of days, because I planned to make a video like 6 weeks ago and I haven't yet. Fail. lol I'll think about it.

Early to Bed, Early to Rise. Habit 1

So, during CAPE exams, I had this week where exams were literally back to back for an entire week. History Monday, Geography Tuesday, Spanish Wednesday, History Thursday, Geography on Friday, ugh, it was hectic. I hated it, I had to cope somehow, so for that entire week, I studied literally ALL NIGHT ALL MORNING, took a nap, studied then went to my exam. Come home, then sleep for like 4 hours and repeat. Needless to say i was hella stressed out that week, but at least my brain absorbed a bit more that way, sort of, lol

So yes, point is, my mind works better when it's fresh, and after school all day, I tend to come home and not be able to settle and focus...jointly because I'm tired, it's very hot, I have too many distractions like the internet, my parents want me to do stuff, it's noisy because everyone's active watching television and so I can't focus. I really need to focus, university life sucks. So I decided for my first habit, I would go to bed between 8-9, 9:30 for the latest, and 10 on days when I'm home extra late. and get up between 3-4 to study and do other activities.

So last night, I went to bed at 9:30 and got up at 4 after the work of about 5 alarms :| lol xD And lemme just say it is awesome! I felt like I literally had more time in my day to do anything and everything I wanted. On normal days I go to bed whenever I feel sleepy, which is usually no time before 1, then get up late and rush to go to school, so I never get to eat breakfast.
WELLL BLOWWWW MEEEE DOWNNNNNN, 'cause guess what, today I had time to slice bread, heat bread, butter bread, cut rotisserie chicken, heat rotisserie chicken, eat bread with my chicken, AND sit down and drink a cup of tea! FIRST TIME IN LIKE, OH MY GOODNESS, YEARS MAYBE! lol Never did that in secondary school 'cause I got boxlunch (now I don't and I'm very sad) :(

And in addition to that, I had time to do a little chores, I made up my bed, yes that was a major task 'cause I was sharing with a lot of stuff, lol xD folded and put away plenty clothes. Plus I had time to comb a lot of my hair in twists, and all of this was done before 6:30am! Imagine that. I wouldn't have gotten any time to do that after school, because by then I'd be twisting myself around trying to settle, and I wouldn't! So It felt good :)

ANDDDDDD it was also so coooooool! I love being up early, because it's quiet, I have time to myself, I have quiet to myself, quiet to sit and pray, quiet to watch the sunrise, see the sky change from it's dark deep blue to a bright one, hear the birds as they wake up ^_^ Talking about birds, the other night I happened to notice two keskidees in one of our trees, I never saw them before, but I always wondered why the tree used to shake gently at night. Till I somehow startled one and it flew out then i watch where it landed. And after that I saw the other one, completeyyyyy camoflauged! it was amazing, to me at least, and now I check to see if they're there every night and they are ^_^ So before 6am I went to see if they were still asleep, and nopeee they were already fluttering about. See even birds see the importance and urgency in waking up early. Early bird catches the worm right? So true.

So, lots of habits started today.
1. Getting up early to study and do other stuff
2. Drinking tea and having breakfast
3. Doing some sort of chore for a few minutes
and for these, I feel accomplished. I think this is the start of a great habit ^_^ One that will help me in future endeavours. I'm typing this blog from work at 3:30 pm, and I'm not even tired, I didn't come to school tired either, and I was more alert.
OOO OOO! I HAD LUNCH ON TIME TOO! :D **backflips** whooooooooooooooooooooooooooohoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ^_^ And you know why I had it on time as well, 'cause I brought my own food, I had TIME to pack my own lunch, yeaaaaaa 8-) saved monayyyyyy todayyyy xD Feels like a boss*

Oooooo and I also started speaking to myself :) Not the normal speak in where I talk to myself, share a joke or two and argue with myself, a different kind but more on that later. It's already after 9 and I'm not in bed because I just got home D: so, till next time :D

I AM SO FREAKING LAZY DAMMIT!
So, a couple things to note before you continue reading.
1. I'm writing this at midnight, I'm incredibly tired, came home awhile ago from an almost 4 hour rehearsal for a show.
2. I'm just talking continuously, no backspacing of thoughts, and I type as I think.
3. There is no 3 :| lol fooled ya :P

Here goes.
I, am, so, bleh idk even. Maybe I should just make this random thoughts of a random girl part 3? :/
I feeling rel out of it tonight. I need to sleep. No wait, that's not what I came to blog about. Yes! Habits.
I hate mines :/ I have good ones, and then I have not so good ones. I suffer with a disease called procrastination. It's pretty serious. For example, I should've made this blog post since the start of September, saying of course that I had to cancel my last challenge, the quadrilingualism one,(see post here http://everydemonwantshispoundofflesh.blogspot.com/2012/08/quadrilingualism-challenge.html ) because I got involved in so many different activities during the vacation. But nope, so to anyone who wanted to know how that went, I'm sorry :/ And also, I should've just been persistent with my blogging, and my vlogging! Havent made a video in over a month! wow that sucks :( Actually, I made about three, never edited and uploaded them however, seeeeeee, procrastination. Dammit!
But ya know me, I want change, I put it in a challenge :)

So, Let's call this, Habitual week? Or maybe month? It takes about 20 days of repetition for a habit to be formed or something Me thinks, so fine a Habitual month week. Oh goushhhh if I start with the amount of habits I need to cut I eh go finish now :/ lol ok I exaggerate it. hehehe Mr. Noodle *said in Elmo's voice* I do a really good Mr. Noodle xD ahhh my boob hurts :/ wait whattttt? *scrolls up* Something bout habits. Ah yes! Habitual Month it shall be!

So during the course of the month, I shall blog about the different habits I'm trying to change. Forgive me if they overwhelm you. lol And not just habits to replace, but things I want to make into habits. Sooooo, for those of you who enjoyed my 30 Day Do Something New Everyday Challenge from last year :) *Appreciate yall btw* ;) I hope yall enjoy this one! Ok I have class at 9am, and it takes about 1:15 minutes for me to travel, relatively comfortably to school :/ So Imma get to my bed now (lies, I'm probably gonna chat a bit, browse, sit around and stare then fall asleep without climbing on my bed, get up about 2am with neck pain then drag myself to my un-made-up bed and wake up late for school) heyyy, at least I'm honest with myself! I ain't fronting! humph. That's what this challenge is for. So stay tuned :)

Quadrilingualism Challenge

So, I like languages. I'm not sure if it's a passion, but I do enjoy learning it, speaking it, confusing people with it and meeting people who actually speak it! But now that I'm out of Secondary school and moving onto a degree, one that may not necessarily be Spanish >_< well, hopefully, a minor at least, it's going to be tough to keep up with it, or even learn new ones. Partly because I'd be focused on other studies, and mainly because, I just wouldn't be focused on studying it, out of a classroom setting. So I'm bringing the classroom to home!

I like 7 and 30 Day Challenges, But I guess, until the end of August? Or maybe till i start University(hopefully) oh gosh, * hyperventilates and panics at the thought that I may not get in D: * But no sooner than August is over, shall i complete this challenge :D Basically, I'm going to try learning 3 foreign languages simultaneously;i.e completing the same lessons such as Basic Greetings, grammar rules, descriptions, travel etc, each on the same day. And considering English is my first language, it will count as 4 in the end, thus making me a quadrilinguist, or polyglot. But, in addition to those, I'm going to widen my vocabulary. For now, I'll start with 5 new words per day, that I shall use in my day to day speech as practice, and just for the fun of it, attempt to learn and remember those same 5 new words, in each of the three foreign languages :D
I can imagine some people saying, 'for the fun of it? what part of that sounds fun to you? o.O' lol but I like the challenge ^_^
And this is definitely going to be a challenge, considering I may be involved in other activities, whole day ones, that would greatly infringe on the time needed to study, but the important thing is that I try!

Oh, and lastly, the foreign languages shall be:
Spanish
Already fluent in that, but CAPE really messed up my ability to learn basic stuff, it packed my brain with advanced topics like Global warming, tourism, globalization and technology, and got rid of the basic 'Hola' lol Ok I keed I keed hehe but I want to take my time and really develop my skills in it through continuous practice, soooo ya.

French
Did French up to form 3 in Secondary school, was never excellent at it,just average, but I blame that entirely on myself because I didn't focus or study it as often as I should've, but once I did, I was awesome at it! Too bad I dropped it like a breadfruit after that, lol

And the last language, I'm gonna need suggestions. I was thinking Portugese, but ughhhhh it's so close to Spanish, well relatively, and I don't think I want to become incredibly fluent in that, or maybe, not yet.
But I'm also thinking Mandarin, apparently more people in the world speak Mandarin than they do English :O
And also Russian, considering it is one of the 6 Official Languages of the United Nations. That way, I'd know 4 of them, but If I do both Mandarin and Russian I'd know 5 :O I SHOULD LEARN 5 LANGUAGES!!! lol xD
In case anyone was wondering, the last official one is Arabic.

5 Languages, hmmm *strokes imaginary beard* Quintilinguistic Lifa. I shall think about it. So Portugese, Mandarin or Russian? I shall ponder ^_^

Such a sad reality that people can't do such a task as listening alone.They think they understand the meaning of the word, but it's far deeper than just 'hearing', much more perplex than sharing your view. Challenge Update and Trip to the Dentist!

I'm so lazy :| gosh that's gotta stop! >.<

Ok so my challenge finished since Saturday, and well it was successful ^_^ Ate meat the Saturday though, but success nonetheless :D I must say, going to bed early...er, is relatively tough but very rewarding! Bed between 11-12, NO LATER! and up by 8, you get a lot more out of the day!

One thing is for sure, I missed meat! and fried fish :D :D Don't think I'd be doing a vegan challenge anytime soon again.

Today, I went to the dentist! ^_^ His name is Mr. Agbontaen [Ag-bun-tine] and he's from Nigeria! WE go way back(meaning he's been my dentist since I was like 11?] He's pretty cool too, I can guarantee I'd always smile when I'm there. He always changes my surname :s Lifa Marawaski! Princess Lifa, the best surgeon in the Caribbean! Lifa (Insert List of other cool African Names and Royalty here) lol ^_^

Today was kinda weird though, he came late and didn't react all smiley, and was somewhat forgetful. I guess something was bothering him :/ Either way, as soon as he changed my surname my heart smiled, LOL silly, but simple enough to make an impact. And according to him, I'm 'best patient' lol

One thing for sure, there is NOOOO face uglier, than the one you have when a dentist is operating in your mouth o.O Thank Goodness I can't see it! lol And gosh that suction straw the assistant has in your mouth, today she really shoved it! But I wouldn't have noticed much to be suctioned anyways because half of my lower face was NUMB!

Mocaine tastes weird :/

Injections hurt :(

Literally felt the liquid going through the flesh surrounding my mandible during the injection D:

Nigerians are cool :D

Drilled tooth smells like a burning mosquito :/

The blue light they put in your mouth, idk what it is, but it requires eye protection, makes your mouth feel realllllyyyy funny! In a weird way funny, and kinda hurt my head, I wonder what it does :/

I LOVEEEEE gettin my teeth polished! ^_^ it's like a massage in your mouth ^_^

Fluoride treatment was apple flavored, delish! ^_^

My dentist gave me a toothbrush, toothpaste and dental floss! :D

Okies, I think that's it with my Dentist trip soliloquy!

Not sure what this challenge is, Challenge

Unknowing to me, tomorrow please God is the first of July O_O And there I was writing in work, 'call back on Monday 1st' haha faillll. I rarely ever know what day it is though :/ But that's not the point. Otherwise, it's great that it is, because I always like to start challenges on the 1st of a month ^_^

So I've postponed this for awhile now, tried it, probably lasted one day, meat was just so overwhelmingly delicious! This is originally meant to be a 'Vegetarian' Challenge. So no meat, just the good ole veggies and stuff. But I think I need to easeeee my way into that, and so it's a 'Semi-Vegetarian' Challenge. And the reason for that is primarily because, I really like cheese lol and Ryvita #Addicted >.< plus I need milk, and well, fish is awesome :/ okies, so basically it's like this.
No Chicken
No Beef
No other type of meat except fish
Some animal products such as eggs(haven't had eggs in months :O ) and milk :D
The veggies I shall try to consume as raw as possible!
And the fish shall not be cooked with any sort of oil.

So I guess it's more of a health challenge? hmmm
Then I figured why not add a new spin to it, and have a 'Go to Bed at a Reasonable Hour and Not Spend the Entire Night Watching How I Met Your Mother or Gossip Girl or Pretty Little Liars or Any Other Sitcom That I Have on My Watch Sitcoms All Vacation List Plus Wake up Earlier Whilst Being a Semi- Vegetarian Challenge' ^_^

Watched Gossip Girl from 11:30- now today :| And basically finished 4 seasons of HIMYM already, would've finished a month ago o.O ^_^
And well, I sleep pretty late.really early and that's probably not a good thing unless I plan to work Night Jobs in the future :|
So this should be interesting, and rewarding I hope :)
So here's to hoping for success for the next 7 days ^_^

Soooooo I Got Robbed.

Well the title pretty much explains it all. So I'm not really sure where to go from here, thoughts so scattered :/

I always wonder and marvel at little changes, big ones too, but the little ones in particular. Like how, taking one taxi instead of the other just seconds away, could be the difference between life and death. Or how, staying back at home 2 minutes longer, or forgetting something and having to go back for it, could be the determinant of whether or not you may notice something, find something, understand something. And lastly, the impact. The impact the littlest things could have on you. Like seeing someone with a certain hairstyle, and your mind goes on into how awesome it may be, how confident they may be, then somehow reach to the point where it eats at your insecurities, makes you wonder why you can't be that yourself, bold and brave, and from then you make the decision to be better, become like this person who might as well be a figment of your imagination as for only a second you glimpsed then, or to wallow in self pity and regret, remorse for everything you've done and haven't done, inevitably leading to a downward spiral. How? from seeing someone's hairstyle? The little things.

Quite frankly I'm not sure how I feel about this all yet, it fluctuates. No one really knows EXACTLY how they're respond in dangerous situations. Your conscious mind fathers information from your senses, daily experiences, impacting directly on your subconscious, or inner conscious level, causing you to think certain ways, and react different ways. It's sorta like a computer, storing all that information, making you either function smoothly, malfunction in certain areas, or even crash when these inner thoughts are brought to a conscious level. Point is, lol, who really knows EXACTLY what they'd do.

So here I was, walking home, only to be attacked from behind by two guys. Now you see two guys coming behind you, maybe you get suspicious, but had I looked back, I wouldn't have. Why? Because I know one of them, literally from younger days, went to my primary school, coming to my house to pick five-finger off my tree, all ah dat! So in the actual robbery, I sat on the floor thinking, whilst still strugglin with my bag and them, really? you? you're one of the guys robbing me? REALLY? and then of course, oh no, my money, my bb,my ipod and the stuff I just bought for my graduation in like 2 hours! But, I let go the bag. I didn't know if they had a weapon, and quite frankly I didn't want to find out. Strangely, there was this little boy, no more than 11, just there, on a bike, watching. And when they decided they can't find my phone let's just snatch the bag and go,the little boy rides up to me and says 'Family, what happen?' Really? -_- So tiredly, I ran to the main street to see if anyone was in the road and could have stopped them, saw a neighbor and he called after them, but how much does that really do? Nonetheless, it was appreciated. So, in the blink of an eye, I lost pretty valuable things, think my ring got slid off too..my graduation ring :/
Well, a lotttttttttt more ensued after the event!. It's so mind blowing the amount of things that transpired in the last 24 hours O_O

But, I am quite honestly not in the frame of mind to discuss that just yet. But now, I'm even more thankful. Worse things could have happened, but it didn't and I thank the Lord for it all. Despite me losing those stuff, those guys lost even more and will continue to lose more. And I pray for them and for better.

P.S I had a blastttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt at my graduation regardless!! I didn't care who bothered that I danced and skipped around with my friends allllllll night, I had just the right to be there, as anyone else, and I live for not a single one of them. But thank God for great friends to share it with! Shar, Lileh, Ma g Nadz, Kankan, Bridge, Pearly, Kimi times 2 and of course, my darling brother Damian :) I love you guys! ^_^

WHAT I HATE ABOUT CHRISTMAS!!!!!!

It's the most wonderful time of the year. I can't dispute that there's a greater sense of joy around this time, hearing parang music on the radio...wait thats all that excites me? wow -_-

Christmas is NOT an excuse to go bankrupt. Why on earth do I need new curtains? What is wrong with the ones from last 3, 4, 5 years?!?! And why must they be so damn fancy!?! -_-

People go crazyyy buying things! Quite frankly, I'd paint my house in August if I can, Christmas time pretty much would just equal- free time to do it.

Prices DO NOT "go down" -_-. I checked a catalogue from Courts or Standards or whatever months ago, and compared the items on "sale" with those then...SAME PRICE!! In fact, this jus tmight be when prices hike up, because the demand for every single thing increases. I do NOT need to spend over 1000 dollars on groceries alone dammit! >.<

Christmas is NOT an excuse to drink alcohol excessively!! It is NOT an excuse to go out and lime and "have a good time" dousing down everything that comes your way. Sure fruit cake is great but geez, must you overdo the alcohol?

Who on earth is santa claus? Whyyyyyyyyyyyy do parents lie to their children. It's bribery, it's a lie and its damn foolish! it's also very idolatrous, seeing that children worship Santa's feet, hoping to get something for Christmas. Quite likely, Jesus was NOT even born on December 25th and nowhere in the Bible do people really celebrate birthdays anyway, except for 3 occasions where bad things all happened (Google it, or read yo Bible yo) All in all, though I don't feel inclined to get in this "spirit" ie...EXCESS! I celebrate the fact that ONE man, Jesus Christ, loves me, and us all, sooooooooo much, that He'd die for me, to reconcile my relationship with God, paving the way for my eternity! :)

And what have we become, glutton, lazy and easily swayed? What is xmas? I thought the Word was Christmas? I thought the reason for the season was CHRIST! WHO IS X??!?!? Did X come to save my life?

Sooooo, why not choose a time to celebrate this fact then- ie christmas season? uhm WHY NOT DO IT ALLLLLLLLLL THE TIME? Does the Lord say, wellllllllllll Imma help you today, Imma hear your prayer today, I'll comfort you and be there for you today, but tomorrow I rell cyah handle u nah, or next week neither, matter of fact, I'm booked through February, so whenever ah get de chance to help yuh ah go do it? uhh NO! So why, for this ONE time, do we get so focused on "THE CHRISTMAS SPIRIT"

What Spirit? hanging reindeer and excess lights outside my house does NOT make me feel the "spirit"

Having a tree up, does NOT make me feel the "spirit"

Drinking alcohol, liming, paranging does NOT make me feel the "spirit"

Cleaning and painting does NOT make me feel the spirit.

And quite frankly Im sick and TIRED or hearing ppl say "I doh feel the Christmas spirit" if yuh buying ting, eating ting, drinking ting, paranging and ting, then yuh in the spirit alright! But which one.

I rather feel the Holy Spirit. I'd rather have a peaceful Christmas, than a loud, festive Christmas.

I rather have peace within myself for a lifetime, than spend one day in glutton excessive, pointless celebration to feel temporary happiness. Cuz guess what people..drink away your problems today, they are still there in the morning!

I rather lend a helping hand to those in need, than sit back and wait for a bunch of gifts to be given to me. Naively before, Id wish for gifts. But the thing is, if the Lord doesn't do anything else for me, He's already done enough. And that's the greatest gift of all.

So have a blessed, holy Christmas. And perhaps, before going outside to galavant and play, take some more time to pray. Always remember the reason, not just for a season, for always.

CARAMEL POPCORN =WINNNNNNNN! ^_^

I CAN BARELY CONTAIN MYSELF! I should get a bigger container then, hehehehe ok that was stale :/ lol
Ok, so all weekend I've been feeling peckish and wanted caramel popcorn, not like the one I made last time though, lol I wanted it even better! And well, I was supposed to make for someone's birthday(they really liked the last batch, lol) so I decided heck why not make it today! ^_^

So I spent like 45 minutes shelling peanuts and breaking them in half, ouch. I cyah be ah nuts 'oman on the highway inno, painnnnn! lol I got my apparatus ready beforehand, well most of it and I popped my corn :) IT POPPED BEAUTIFULLLYYYYYY! Like OMG! There was not a single corn to be popped still! (or maybe I just didnt see it) and it didn't burn! For awhile I was like, screw caramel popcorn I just wanna eat it like this ^_^ My dad took some, and then I popped another large pot :D Guess how that popped? STUPENDOUSLY! :D eeeeeeeeeep! Im too excited, haha
So during this, the pot was on the stove, but nothing in it, and I could'nt find the measuring cup so I just started estimating how much of everything and puttin it in the pot. I put sugar like three times, lol Some essence(the light one this time :D) and kept stirring. I put all my nuts(cashew and peanuts) in the two pans with the popcorn and got ready to put my baking soda and watch it rise! :D
Turned off the stove, put in the baking soda and it barely moved, so I was like burrrrr? So I put back on the fire, and put in more baking soda and stirred, it rose just a little bit, but not overfluff like lastime so I was concerned. But in my mind I was like wait nuh, baking soda have TOO MANY USES! To clean, disinfect, get rid of odours, bake and teng, wth! Maybe too much would give ppl chirren the runnings, so I didnt put any more, lolI poured half in one bowl and mixed, and MY WORD WAS IT GORGEOUS! It distributed wonderfully, and was light and looking even better than processed caramel corn x_x. I thought I had too little for the other bowl, but BAM! That spread niceeeeeeeeeeeeeeee too. I didnt even use my baking dishes this time, I jsut plopped the two pans in the oven for a few minutes, it sealed the caramel over it, and WOW! It tastes great :) Screw plain popcorn,lol

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH IM SO EXCITED! We we we so excitedddd *dances* ^_^
I just had to blog about this, my happiness was too much to contain, I had to tell the world! :) Thank God it came out so well :) Cant wait to dive down in some more later :D

My 30 Day Challenge (30) Fasting

Wow, I can't believe the challenge is over ;( It's been wonderful I must say :)
My last day! I fasted. It wasn't meant to be for the challenge however :/
I successfully finished a 4 Day Bible Reading Plan on the topic of Humility from http://www.youversion.com/ and I thought to myself, I'd fast to end it off. And maybe fast at the end of each one completed. I was sort of reluctant at first but went ahead. All I had were fluids, water, bush tea and a small box of juice (because keeping the sugar up a little bit is essential)
By 8:30 my belly was grumbling! But I sipped tea and it went for a couple minutes. Thankfully, nothing for breaktime or lunch came in Boxlunch(the school feeding program) so wanting to eat it wasn't a big issue for me! Twas an issue however, when everyone had such lovely meals I can eat from! All hot and delicious smelling! And then another class was giving out FREE DOUGHNUTS! FREE! x_x temptation was all around, but I resisted and went on to read over the verses I studied :) And after school i bought chow and carried it home to have later :) For the rest of the evening i was fine, just gassy, lol And was somewhat eager for 6pm to reach :) When it did and I returned home from music class, I prayed and ate!
I feel good actually. Just awhile ago my mom asked my to do something whilst I was trying to make toast to eat, and I said oh gwammmmm, but stopped because the thought "Submit yourselves to your elders" from 1Peter 5:5 came to mind. "God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble! " :)
A good way to end off a challenge I believe, with the Lord! :)

So why worry heh? :)

My 30 Day Challenge (28-29) BAZAAR & FANCY JEWELLERY! ^_^

I'm blogging late againnnnnnnnn :/ I fell asleep before 8pm lastnight! I never sleep that early! lol I think I was too lazy to get up off my bed for anything else and so I just lay down and bep out! Oh well. Yesterday was my Bazaar!
Bazaar:

A market in a Middle-Eastern country.
A fund-raising sale of goods, typically for charity

Lol twas the second definition though. I've been in this school for 7 Years, and it was going to be my last official bazaar there, so I geared myself up and went to have a good time! ^_^ Usually I just jibb, went to the disco twice I think, or miss it because I had a scrabble tournament the same day x_x but this time, I went and I had a darn good time yo! So that was my new thing :) I played games, and more games, and more games, and hula hooped, and played with my friends' little brother, and played more games, and ate and ate and drank and drank, and played more games and helped a tiny bit with the haunted house ^_^ All in all I had a wicked time! ^_^
First game I played was called "Light a Candle" and basically all you did was light 8 candles with one match, before the match burns to smithereens or other's blow out. And I won! ^_^ Picked a number to get my prize and got some herbal essences shampoo! So I'm like heyyyyy Just gimme the conditioner if I win again, but they refused :( So I played again, won again, then picked again, and guess what? I PICKED THE CONDITIONER! ^_^ I spent between 60-80 dollars perhaps yesterday and came back home with
Herbal Essences Shampoo and Conditioner
A can opener
A glass plate
Two big bowls (to make meh cake in xD)
A kitchen mitt
A bunch of nails files in a set!
Small bottle of Ocean Spray Cranberry Juice

Had two bags of pholourie, ice cream, 2 LLB's, more ice cream...wait that was all? :O lol Ah well ^_^
I HAD FUNNNNNNNNNNNNNN ^_^

And so on to today's challenge! I dream some weird things, can't quite remember what but it involved cookie dough! :/ lol Anyways, earlier on, whilst searching for Lord alone knows what, I found where my broken jewellery pieces were :D And so I repaired em! Got myself a chain and a matching bracelet to boot! ^_^

I DRANK FROM MY MARY POPPINS CUP TODAY! ^_^

Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep! ^_^ So glad I finally used it! Figured it was time ^_^ and I had El Pecos too! Haven't eaten that in months! So I figured twas a good combo! I got Bbq chicken, jerk chicken, bbq lamb, fried plantain, macaroni salad and green salad, topped with plenty garlic sauce! (The actual garlic chopped up, not that white thing they blend up!) Bbq sauce, mustard, garlic sauce(the white one, lol) and Shadow beni sauce! yummmmmmmmmmmmmeeeehhhhhhhhhhhh!!! ^_^

My 30 Day Challenge (26) Reggaeton,Meditation

I can't believe there are only 3 more days left! :O

I'm updating a day late, because well yesterday was just hectic! But totally worth it! :) I went in my bed roughly past 3am o.O Because I prefer doing work when the place is quiet and it's dark? lol And I decided for my challenge yesterday, I'd listen to Reggaeton all day! (I'm sure Salma would love this ;) And well I listened to it from midnight to bedtime, searching different artists on youtube and stuff. They're pretty marchoso! ^_^ (gettin ah lil spanish mix there ^_^) I found this site and was looking them(most of em) up!

However, this challenge got cut short, when I woke up past 10 the following morning, and realised I still had to wash my hair, and comb it for my graduation later x_x So quickly I went! But it was so much trouble! A bunch of my plaits loose out when it's wet :(

Then to top it off, I had to go in school to drop something for my friend because (not calling any names here) but Salma, lol lost my key! >.< lol grrrr!

And I still had to pack my bags, get all my stuff together, wash the clothes I'd be dancing in, do my mom's hair etc. But things worked out, and my brother dropped me so I was happy :)

Nehuzz, The Tallman Foundations' Graduation was AWESOME! I had to perform the "Tallman Song" and a dance! I don't have much pictures, (sprung these off the group page actually lol)

Twas loads of fun :) I got certificates in Drama, Dance, Photography and Development thingy, lol ^_^

But when I came home, there was no electricity! And I didn't mind. Coming home was so peaceful, dark but so purdy! I liked it! And I got a chance to light a candle I got for Christmas last year or year before. Twas cool. And so I decided to stop and think and reflect about life and the future and read some Bible scripture by candlelight :) This really stood out to me

¹³ Now listen, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money.” ¹⁴ Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes. ¹⁵ Instead, you ought to say, “If it is the Lord’s will, we will live and do this or that.” ¹⁶ As it is, you boast in your arrogant schemes. All such boasting is evil. ¹⁷ If anyone, then, knows the good they ought to do and doesn’t do it, it is sin for them.

So many times we make plans of our owns, without considering what is God's plan for us? And so if they fail we're disappointed. Had we just trusted in the Lord to guide our footsteps and shape our lives, we wouldn't be faced with such disappointment, but instead we boast about plans, about ourselves, our accomplishments, putting God aside and then picking Him back up when your plans don't go as you hoped?

Read a couple more different ones, like the parables Jesus told. One being about having talents and producing more, whilst the other man hid it and did nothing with it. And another parable about the Word being on good ground, where people listen to it and internailize it letting it guide them, whereas others just hear it and for the moment are delighted then forget it and go about their lives. Then I started Ecclesiastes and after awhile, relaxed, then fell asleep. I got up shortly after however, and current came back, but I liked the quiet and not being all up under electronic devices, and so I went back to bed :) And I took pictures too!

My 30 Day Challenge (25) Hablando en Espanol! Handstands!

So my friend Salma recommended I speak in Spanish for at least half of the day! AWESOME! That was DEFINITELY a challenge! So my first convesation was trying to explain Dimples x_x and the most used phrase was "un momento" for each time I had to go in the giant bricklike dictionary we're required to bring to classes. lol But after awhile I got the hang of it, sorta!
One teacher didn't come to class so that was a bummer! I didn't get to answer questions in Spanish :( So for the free period I watched music videos(how shameful :( :/ ) And talked in spanish, several times just staying quiet because I can't formulate the sentence I'd like! lol Twas lots of fun tho! ^_^
But by the end of lunch it was back to English. It was hard to dance with my friend, researching songs to do learnt choreography to and talk to other people at the same time! :( I fail hard.
So it only lasted about 2 hours, jejeje.
But as compensation for that, I decided to do something I haven't done in years! A handstand!
Form 1 days I was doing it like it was watching television! Going into crab-backs with it, dancing, switching legs, doing aerobics with my feet in the air and I was freaking high on it! ^_^ But now I'm afraid, lol So I decided to face my fear and just do it!
And I did during dance rehearsal! ^_^ And then I just wanted to keep doing it over and over! I was really bummy at first but once I was up the first time, that was it! twas all I wanted to do ^_^

So this was mid- fancy hand movement dance step thingy, lol

3. My Spanish REAL POOR! lol Strangely enough however, when I go to Spanish class I feel like I'm going mad, although I speak plenty, my hair goes crazy I rock from side to side and do weird things, lol But I speak alot of Spanish then, using words I didnt even know I knew, lol

4. I suck at doing cartwheels...still, lol

5. I look like a douen with my hair out and flattened(ish) on all sides. Either that, or like a Chinese boy with a straight across haircut,lol

5. Fue algo mas! Lo olvido! :( no! espera! Recuerdo! I learnt new words in Spanish!

My 30 Day Challenge (24) Speaking Like the Brit'ish, Doorbells and Bicycles ^_^

So today I decided to speak like I'm British all day! i was uber excited about it, especially for my first class which was Spanish, to talk to the teacher like that :D But she never came :( Instead Enfrente con trabajo! There was questions to be done IN SPANISH! a bunch of em, and an essay to write IN SPANISH! *Bummy vybez* lol I did what I could and started my challenge at lunch time! It was quite fun, my other friend Nadia joined in here and there, but often switched to Trini, cuz it kinda hard to truly express how yuh feel speaking like a Brit. It's also hard to laugh like one, and sing like one :/ It was going pretty awesome! But one of my teachers, much like many of them, laughed when I started to answer "What is wave pounding, and hydraulic pressure" in that accent. She even insulted it! How rude! Mind you me, I'm writing the majority of this post in a British accent even, lol Bloody hell! I stopped after awhile and decided I can do something else as well, but not sure what yet. Until ah bounce up meh neighbor wen ah was going home nah, and we walk up together and teng, lol We spoke in the British accents together(she actually recommended the challenge) and we revisited some childhood memories going to an old shop, and buying candy in a straw with a gold plastic ring on top! ^_^
Then on our way home, we see a doorbell outside someone's home and decide to press it, like good ole days, haha. She said "I not gonna run tho" But when we pressed it, we real speed walk from the house, haha ^_^ Twas fun! Then all my Soldanza plantain chips fell! :( Karma came quickly, lol
So later on, waiting for the transportation to go to dance class I did something new AGAIN! I rode a bicylce for the first time in many many years I suppose. I fell at the bottom of a hill when I was younger and stopped :/ But today i actually rode it, (after several failed attempts to pedal) ^_^ Twas well wicked! ^_^

Blurry yes, but I ACTUALLY RODE IT AND DIDNT BUSS MEH NEHNEN! ^_^

That's the sugar melting and then rising when I put in the baking soda and getting all fluffy! ^_^

And this is the end result, after putting it to bake for some time! Looks really dark but that's because I put a bit of vanilla essence in it, the dark one, so yarrr. Tasted good though...clearly, seeing that I had both of these containers filled to the brim last-night and this is where it is at the end of one day. Someone even wanted said they'd pass for more when It's their birthday soon! lol I personally thought I couldve done much better with it! Less sugar and stuff, but for a first attempt I guess it was alright :) I really LOVE how the almonds taste in it! *drools*

And well this is just me this evening, feeling "ah how" probably hungry, and in a fit, put Sharane's lunchkit over my head x_x

So I learned a few things today! ^_^

1. Rel people don't know that there are DIFFERENT English accents based on which part of the UK you live -_- And spending 10 days personally around a couple of them, I don't think my accent was terrible! Bleddy Wankers! >.<

2. I miss GYLC! (Ok this was known already, lol)

3. When speaking like a Brit, your language becomes so proper and sentences are well formulated. Like dangggg homie, lol I love it! So dainty ^_^

4. People like caramel popcorn, lol

5. Push, push push, and then pedal the bike x_x

My 30 Day Challenge (23) Caramel Popcorn! ^_^ (With roasted almonds)

I AM INCREDIBLY PERTURBED!
I decided tonight to make Caramel Popcorn! Hooray!A challenge I can eat and share :)
SO I get all my stuff ready, wash my pots grease my pans etc.put on the popcorn and IT NEVER POPPED! Now first off, I never see this brand ah popcorn before, Idk why my dad buy this brand! "Preferred Brand" THIS AIN'T NO PREFERRED BRAND! It didn't pop!
Now I know some people might say, well you just cant pop popcorn -_- No, I have been popping corn same time I have been travelling, 9 YEARS OLD! And it always popped, maybe not once, because it was too much oil, but this is just ridiculous I tell ya!
So after about 3 minutes I tell myself alright maybe the temperature too high, so I low it down, AH HA! ONE POP! I get lil hopeful!
More minutes passed, and no more popped -_-
So I started over again, and changed to the electric stove, figured heck that's probably why. I've never used the gas stove before with it, so let me stick with the electric. IT STILL DIDN'T POP! Both times, it just looked like it was starting to burn, and all the seeds got partially black spots on them, so Im like maybe it have weevil?Maybe it expire, neither, it just stubborn! lol It's only when I came in the room and started writing this rant of mine, it started to pop . And it took so long to pop I thought the already popped corn was burning, because it smelt like it.
BIG WET STEUPS MAN! lol Put me back an entire hour and I have a Spanish essay due tomorrow and a history essay due last week Friday to do x_x *sigh* But I made the popcorn nonetheless, and forgot the butter, and salt, put those in last minute, lol
And now It's in the oven just caramelizing more or summ, idk It doing it do in the oven!
Id have pictures up tomorrow please God, because right now I really need to get into my work lol

My 30 Day Challenge (22) Lobo Gets A Bath ^_^

I usually LOVE MONDAYS! And go off on a tantrum singing my version of Rebecca's Black Friday, to Monday. But today was pressah, lol Essays Essays Essays! *pulls out hair* lol Moving on!

I came home from school today, and found my widdle pompek Lobo, walking around, coming by the gate to greet me. Ah ha! bath fuh yuh, and yuh want to buss through the chain! lol It was meant to happen I suppose, He literally presented himself to me! Untied! He look for that, lol.

I guess this is new, because he isn't a house dog, and he has his designated area where he's tied. He gets to roam sometimes, but gahhh he like to go play in the road and people threaten to steal him :( So we keep him tied. And well, how often do you bathe your dogs? :s lol Idk it's not like a daily thing, or weekly thing here :/

So bath time it was for dear Lobo! ^_^

Lying down for belly rub! *sigh* lol

I had a feeling he sense his bath, he ran away alot the second time I came downstairs with some soap and my camera, ^_^

I dumped him in the sink, and BAM! He escaped as soon as I put some water on him, lol x_x Expected. But after awhile he stood calmly, then made several other attempts to escape again. lol

When I was finally done, he didn't even give me a chance to dry him off! He kinda defeated the purpose of the bath after he went to hide in dirt x_x

lol Sigh! But he's all dry now, (obviously) and he looks uber cute!(as always) ^_^

Clean doggies are happy doggies! Well to me, although i think they like themselves dirty :/ lol Oh well, theyre good examples sometimes, so carefree and hopeful ya know? :)

We should take heed perhaps! Maybe make that your challenge for the week? ;)

I sense a lame blog post! Well yea, that's what happens when you have to keep nudging your brother to carry you somewhere, then have to nudge him for almost 3 hours to leave and don;t get time to come home and do something uber exciting like kickboxing nd shizz :/
Twas my niece's first birthday, and we went to her lil "small lime" And there was one more green sands left! Ironically, I was reading about that like yesterday! Thinking bout how it tastes, literally used to remind me of sand back then, lol And I haven't had one in years! So I opted for that over the shandy :D

I looking real beppy, lol But I couldn't be bothered at that point to take another picture...I should've lol xD

That's all I have, lol And in that cellphone looking one, all de eyeshadow basically fall out, idk how, when, lol I wouldn't know :D

So What I learned today!

1. If you wanna go to Nationals in Scrabble, you hadda sleep, breathe, eat drink and crap scrabble! x_x Spent my entire day in a scrabble tournament. How cool am I? xD

2. I rellllll doh like makeup! Like Just brown powder alone, I wipe all off before I reach my destination! Props to people wearing this thing yes, cuz I like being able to lick my lip nd rel rub up meh yeyehole! lol

3.WTH just run on de electrical wire outside?!?!?! look like a gouti or summ :s lol Wait, wha, wat I learn boi *thinks* lol oh yea

4. I rel cant put on eyeshadow, eyeliner or mascara. And I cry when I touch up me eyes, so I can't even think of modelling cuz Id cry and they'd put me out :/

5. I nuh cute :( lol hahaha No scn, iz ah big man! xD

6. Baby oil does take off make-up easy peasy, din learn da today, but discovered its true today ^_^

7. I like de number 7, so I just thought Id make a number 7 for this list :s oh wait I have something! ZANJERO IS A FRICKING WORD IN SCRABBLE! X_X

My 30 Day Challenge (19) Pilates and Flexibility- Kinda :P

So my Faculty Advisor for this conference thingy majiggy I went to suggested I did Pilates. Heck, I actually considered it, lol Now to be really honest, I did 5 minutes and it burnt my touchie! That thing work up a sweat. hahaha I inna hot mess xD

This is the first video I did!

And then I ate ice cream and for some reason started to feel nauseous, dizzy and weak :( But I pressed on, and worked on my flexibility a bit with this video :)

Pretty basic stuff Id do now and then if im just laying in bed, but ah well.

Perhaps if I feel much better tonight I'd do more (doubt it) because

1. I don't have a mat! lol

2. My head is spinning when I move too much!

3. I have scrabble to go study for! lol

Soooooooooooooooo! I start a lot of my blogs with soooooo, lol haha. xD Feels like I'm not progressing! ugh! So today, wasn't a great day, mentally, lol. But when you want something you have to work for it, no slacking off! And yall have no idea what I'm talking about! xD On to ziii challenge *insert epic zorro cape swipe here*

Today I showered without the light on!!!!!!!!!!! ^_^ How awesomeeeee is that? lol And I didn't even mind, it was pretty cool, ya kno, just chilling in the somewhat dark location getting clean ^_^ But I can't just let that slide as my new thing for the day, I like to push! I like to do more. Sooo I came home, and I unintentionally did something. I fell asleep at 5pm till 8pm, lol But that's still not enough yo! So Tonight, I practised writing with my left hand ^_^ It's been on my list to become more ambidextrous for so long, so I figured why not practice? So this is what I did, Mainly songs that have been on my mind because of how I currently feel.

And this is what I wrote basically.

What I learned for today!

1. I shouldn't rush, things come in time, and just like a child learns to write, with enough practice I can get so much better! And this is awesome for building up my left side! Which is a plus since I need to for dance, the pan, piano and guitar, and just life in general ya dig? 8-)

My 30 Day Challenge (17) Pedicure-Nail Art! ^_^

What a long, yet quick day! Slept until noon, although I was originally up and energized at 8am. But if ya interrupt ma sleep, I go back to bed and sleep longer than I originally would have so hooray for the phone ringing three times! lol I slept really bad too, my right shoulder area was hurting all afternoon, and still hurts slightly now :( But on to my challenge! I decided to give myself a pedicure! ^_^
In the shower, I scrubbed the soles of my feet with my pumice stone and got it all nice and smooth :) Whilst still damp, I trimmed my nails, cleaned out anything around my cuticles then rubbed my nails with vaseline. I started off with nail art, as suggested by my daughter Nikki :) on this site http://www.womanjunction.com/topic/nail/nail-art-ideas/ but it was difficult to get the cloth I wanted quickly, or the art I wanted. I put flowers first over a coat of pink nailpolish, but it was lame and ugly. So I just decided to paint my nails normal. One other nail was red so I thought hey let me be patriotic and paint it the colours of my flag, red, white and black. This was it originally

Yea, it's messy, so what? lol But I didn't like this either. So I polka dotted the white with red and black and I really liked how that looked! So I polka dotted all and me likes ^_^

Yay ^_^

So that's all for today. Time to go cram level spanish and other assignments due tomorrow x_x lol
