Have you watched the performances last night?

From opening acts to Alex's rendition of Taylor Swift's "I KNEW YOU WERE TROUBLE" with Gloc-9, Finalists with Kamikazee singing Narda. Then two songs from the finalists, Let It Go by the girls. I have to say Lyca gave a very different flavor to the song because of her very distinct voice and yeah you can tell that she is the crowd's favorite. If you ask me, i want Darren to win it. He is the total performer and yeah he is definitely ready. But then, it is the people's vote, and Filipinos like to see the underdog wins....nothing new...nothing new. Darren wants it badly and I will vote for him. His rendition of Beyonce's LISTEN was perfect and he really nailed it. And oh do not mind the title I am sure everyone agrees that Sarah G. is definitely blooming and more beautiful these days. Love becomes her...shhh! Yeah I know what you are thinking, it seems I am trying to insinuate something? This is my mere opinion on her and this is my blog. Well, I hope you are all aware that I am a true blue Kapamilya fan and likes no other channel. And of course, yeah everybody will agree with me on this statement that Kris A. is over-exposed and overworked. Do we need more of her? I am a fan of her, that is true, if you will ask my kids and my husband so the more of her the happier I am? I am really not here to patronize her and her existence but well I open my TV in the morning to watch her and her gang of friends doing things like cooking, visiting restaurants, off to a remote island for adventure, go abroad. I like to watch that in the morning...gives me a temporary escape at least what she shares on tv is entertaining me. Then, from time to time, you get to see her on commercials. Then again, you get to see her on a short talk with Boy A. every evening. Come Sunday and you get to see her again on The Buzz. Good for her that she's got lots of work, there is no question that she is good with it and people believe her. She can be annoying at times, tactless at times, maarte at times. About her recent lovelife? I remember her saying that she'll be quite about it and keep it private...hah! That will work in her dreams, and yeah for being such a loud mouth. Sadly for her, she cannot keep her private life for herself. She is that public and to be in a relationship with her will be a nightmare! I actually am happy for James Yap...he is definitely moving on and forward. As for her? With her recent break-up with Bistek, too bad it did not prosper, she should have kept it hidden from public's snares. My hope for her? I know SOMEONE SPECIAL will come into her life, SOMEONE that is definitely beyond her fame, her power, that can handle her insecurities and self issues. As a fan, Am i Liking her less? Yes, because she is OVER-EXPOSED! Lastly, i like her with LONGER HAIR. What about you? You like her less or more? You can put your comment below.

A New Leash on Life

This blog has been practically dead, for a year, this used to be my baby and then when lots of hope and aspirations Boom! I just abandoned it. Like I always tell myself, I am too busy to post and also I know deep down inside that small voice is telling me, I am just not that inspired anymore, that old me is gone, that passionate side of me is forgotten. ! Then again, life goes on, I now maintain an online job, I still take care of the kids, though I know I am not that great as a mom, I am more into reading e-books now just getting back that old habit of reading is a great feeling in fact I have more than a hundred titles waiting for me and yeah did I mention it feels great? Just last week I attended a summit for online workers like me and it is good to meet people who have works like you, sharing experiences and ideas atop a mountain with the good old moon, it was a great relaxing experience. Also just yesterday, I was fortunate enough to attend a meetup of all Cebuanas on the Web, it was a sponsored event and it was very enlightening, heartwarming, informative and it was once experience that I will never forget. You see, I am trying to get back on the track here, I am once again inspired to revive this blog, to make a change, not the whole world but with every little step in a very little way that I can. I hope to keep the fire burning, now that I am up and running again, I am now hoping to be more confident with my work, my passion, my being and I pray that whoever reads this, I have inspired you too to find what is your true passion in life, what truly makes you happy and continue to be an inspiration to others. If you are a fan of Anne Curtis and a follower too then you are in the loop! Last Sunday Anne's birthday performance in weekly noontime musical show ASAP was a stellar success! Not only was she shining with her performance, along with her the whole production props and the wet look it was a bomb! Not only that too, you know Anne she is a fashion forward icon in her own right, that slit? Yeah, even Jericho was shocked and do not know what to do, run to her and cover the supposed to be hidden diamonds(LOL!) Did she do it in purpose? We don't know! But we are pretty sure MTRCB is keeping an eye on ASAP. It is there job anyways! As to Anne, i am still a huge fan of yours! Wardrobe Malfunction or NOT, you ROCKED Philippines and every time you pop out on TV. You made sure that people will notice you and that is what makes you very interesting and yeah successful. We don't judge!

Right you heard me right the first time, Kris Aquino is playing Santa today to her 42 very lucky chosen fans, damn i wish i tried harder to be qualified. Those lucky audience/recipient of Kris' generous heart came home dragging those many, many stuff from shampoo, washing machines, gift baskets, belo products, shoes, bag(1 LV bag) for a lucky winner, Philip Stein watches...i mean wow, she is like Oprah in the Philippines, of course we could say it is easy for her to do that because most of the products are provided by those companies that she is endorsing but who have done it lately right? Yeah Willi R. can do that too but i think Kris can afford to do this kind of thing yearly, on her birthday month! I salute her, her generous heart, her friends, her kindness, her intelligence, he opinions and i know that she is at peace with everybody and I truly wish her more blessings in life.

It was a surprising friday morning when i turned on the Tv and there i saw the sexy Anne Curtis chatting with miss Kris Aquino! She is currently promoting her latest movie A Secret Affair which will be shown next week, i personally am not interested with the movie(sorry Anne) its because i already saw The Other Woman and just this recently Bea Alonzo's The Mistress...is it a sin to compare the three movies mentioned above? Of course we already know the set-up and its up for them to give it twists and turns but yeah i think for now i have already seen enough third party themes...i think it is also USO in Koreanovela's that I can see in TV5...am i interested enough to see it?not really...i still can;t get over The Mistress. But i think she can handle the pressure and she does not need to prove herself or break some records with her recent movie...i am glad that she is busy with lots of projects and i know that she is happy with her French boyfriend. Really Anne has come a long way and she is a solid name in the industry already...i am excited for her teleserye with Kris next year.

I am kind of missing Sarah G. on ASAP Live but watching her with her own show is a real treat for me every Sunday evening! Like last Sunday when she had guest like Miss Lani Misalucha...yeah i know Lani is all over tv because of her upcoming show in Resorts World but hearing her sing again her signature song is really a unique experience and a duet with Sarah?It is something that you don't want to miss...well i did not miss it! I also love Sarah G's closing portion...wherein Sarah will sing what is inside her heart...it is very real and very Sarah! I now admire Sarah for her dedication towards her craft as an artist and i have really seen her grown up to be a beautiful woman that she is...i do not care about her bashers...they are everywhere but with Sarah just keep what you are doing because you are good with it and i know someday God has prepared someone who is truly deserving of your LOVE.

ADOBO MISSION NI KRIS!

I am SURE you have already seen that episode of KrisTV where they toured different parts of the Philippines and cooked/sampled the different kind of ADOBO'S of Pinoys...the most that i can relate to is the simple one, the usual ADOBO that we like and have grown up eating with...but it is very interesting to know that there are many ways and twists emerging from different Provinces. But then again i like Krissy's version of ADOBO the dry one of course because when there is a sauce then we call it ADOBAW here in Cebu. And after watching Krissy and DARLA taste all of those delicious versions of ADOBO its a sin not to cook them for my family..SO IT WAS AN ADOBO WEEKEND! tHANK U KRIS!

Nakaka-inggit ka talaga Kris!IKAW NA! Nagpaka adventurous ka pa..Bongga! Nasa Cebu lang ako pero never pa akung nakatapak sa Bohol..kawawa naman me! One thing i like about Kris' feature in Bohol is that she mentioned the cleanliness of the whole island and how the people maintained it because it really has been the old tradition of the Boholanos to clean the surroundings before the breakfast and then again in the afternoon before the sun sets...that is our old way of life in the province right? And its not already practiced in the cities that is why we are so dirty that even if there are so many sweepers..our surroundings is still very unkept!

its been so long, so sad inside
who do i get to blame?

Wow! Anne-bisyosa will finally be here this coming March...and her concert will be held in Waterfront Lahug, Cebu City...who knew right?

Who would have thought that everything that she has been dreaming about will materialize?...i always hear Anne say that DREAMS DO COME TRUE! Does this apply to everybody too? The singer-wannabes? like me?wahahahaha! its a wild thought but yeah i am also a frustrated singer like Anne..but yeah lets face it..Anne Curtis is Anne Curtis right? Whatever she thinks of doing..may it be serious or just for fun..people just love her and adore her.

And what is great about Anne is that she is not pretentious and so trying hard that she can become a very great singer..as i quote her "I AM NOT A SINGER BUT AN ENTERTAINER".
She knows where her limitations are and she makes fun of herself...everything becomes FUNNY! AND YEAH DAMN ENTERTAINING.

After new year What i really most look forward to is SINULOG and even while celebrating and waiting for the new year to usher in ..where we prepare for our media noche and dancing to the music...once in a while the SINULOG BEAT comes along..you that very familiar beat of the drum that we so love to dance..and then you know it is coming.

This year however, SINULOG 2012 is a bit early compared to last year so CHEERS to all the Cebuanos, the Devotee and ALL OF US WHO LOVES SENYOR STO. NIÑO!

While we wait for the grand parade and the fiesta...the locals can really enjoy the festivity more with less crowd..because the street parade and dancing starts early within the week...and if you hate the crowd...come out to the street to watch the opening salvo, the parade of the dancers like SINULOG SA KABATAAN, SINULOG SA LALAWIGAN, SINULOG SA DAKBAYAN...less crowd and plenty of room to roam about the city of Cebu.

HELLO HELLO HELLO ALL!

I know its been months since i last made my blog entry..to be honest i just lost a little interest in blogging and yeah its getting monotonous trying to review all the shows that i watch in ABS-CBN and everywhere else when you guys know it already..its like retelling it again and again....blah blah blah.

But on a serious note i would like to say CONDOLENCE TO CHARICE for such a great loss...i am pretty sure losts of Chasters are also shocked with the news right?

And what has been happening to KAPAMILYA SHOWS?Anything exciting? BUDOY is fun to watch..its pretty amazing how Gerald Anderson can capture that character of a special child...my children loves BUDOY! and i do too because it shares lots of family values and character formation that are not present in other shows...see that is what i like about ABS-CBN it is their advocacy to teach young children right values and character and how to be a Filipino.

I know that this is kinda late i just want to react on PGT3 winner...i really think that El PEnumbra deserves it the most!

A LITTLE SAD CUZ GUNS' AND ROSES BID FAREWELL

For weeks i have been keeping my mouth shut and keeping my blog silent because i want to take a pause and its like giving myself a breather...hahahaha..but in all honesty i have been crossing my fingers and holding my breath..i could not contain myslef..HOW WILL IT END? WILL IT BE WORTH IT? WILL WE BE SATISFIED? AFTER ALL THE DRAMA?

Well, for a start...everything must come to an end so that another story, another chapter will unfold..right? yeah RIGHT! What about you? Were you satisfied with the ending of GUNS' AND ROSES? Has ABEL MARASIGAN been given due justice? and a SWEET victory TOWARDS THE END? MAYBE...MAYBE...he got REIGN and MARCUS was imprisoned...Don Lucio died too soon...he was not that bad afterall...it was the uncle...is that really possible..to hate your kin so much?

ALL in all i am happy with the ending...but im gonna miss watching the show.

Now, lets go to the PINOY BIGGEST LOSER! Who do you think will be the BIGGEST LOSER?

I have to say this..pardon me ok but i hate that the show is turning MUSHY AND corny...ITS SUPPOSED TO BE FUN AND EXCITING AND whoaaaah..ROMANTIC? Ang Pinoy talaga!

By the way, i watched the tribute of MMK lat night...very good..brings back lots of memory...i never realized it until last night that i grew up watching the show..and its been 20 years!

IF you are a true blue KAPAMILYA then you surely are at the edge of your seat every night!

Things are really rolling in to the deep as KAPAMILYA SHOWS are gearing up towards the ending of GUNS AND ROSES and my favorite...PINOY BIGGEST LOSER!

NASAAN KA ELIZA? This new show is fast paced...not your typical teleserye and it has such an intriguing plot that you keep on guessing...and pretty sure we all look forward to every episodes as more of the story is revealed...and all those dirty secrets!

And mind you...after watching the episode of MY BINONDO GIRL last night...makes me want to try out Zeny's recipe of Siomai...believe me at 9.00 o'clock last night i have that sudden urge to go to the kitchen and make the Tasty Siomai..wahahahaha!

Then we come to Guns and Roses...oh how i hate MARCUS AGUILAR and PEPE MARASIGAN! why OH WHY can they get away with everything..how smart can they be? and leaving ABEL so helpless and desperate? oh well...i just have to wait for the ENDING..i am sure ...very sure that ABEL WILL WIN! Right? HEROES always win.

PINOY BIGGEST LOSER! HAZEL IS BACK! What a shocker right? Does this mean that she will compete with Raffy? Oh! the love birds..great! Hazel outwitted all of the other ex-contestants! But i don't mind..everything is fair..so now its the FAB FIVE!

Pinoy Biggest Loser: TOP 4 BATTLES IT OUT TO KEEP THEIR SPOT!

BEEN watching this week's episode of PINOY BIGGEST LOSER because the ex-contestants are making a huge come back...though the TOP 4 is kinda feeling it UNFAIR but then Sharon explained to them the real purpose of the new twist...so as to challenge them more and real strength comes out in how you face again the old opponents..and whoever comes out strong...it will be indeed a HUGE WIN!

AS THE FINALE is nearing and the top 4 getting fitter, the challenges getting tougher and more difficult, this is the part of the competition i really look forward to. Whoever will get the slot 5, i am sure it will not be an easy task. I would have loved ALLAN to see on the finale..he is such a huge threat to the top 4 that he opt to vote him out when they got the chance!

I still am rooting for ANGELA, as the only female survivor to face the three men...and to make it this far...she is a force to reckon with..she will not quit!

JUNIOR MASTERCHEF PINOY EDITION: SEAFOOD CHALLENGE FOR LAST BATCH!

ANOTHER reason why i love SATURDAYS..its because of JUNIOR MASTERCHEF!

In their episode last night...the final batch was challenged to with SEAFOODS!

Oh boy...i so envied the shrimps and the crabs...how i wish i was there to grab my share too..and here i am thinking that i am a good cook myself. Those kids really can cook and create such impressive seafood dishes. I am really impressed!

What was your favorite seafood dish last night? Me? SHRIMPS, SHRIMPS AND MORE SHRIMPS, second is the KUNONOT NA PAGI. My dad can cook LINARANG NA PAGI..we call it here KIAMPAW in Cebu and there are techniques to master so that the foul smell of PAGi will disappear and really it is a difficult dish to execute. So TWO THUMBS UP again to those kids...even those who did not make it to the top 30.

When it comes to cooking...i have like TONS AND TONS of things to learn and THOUSANDS OF hours to practice in the kitchen.

So looking forward for next week!

ANNE CURTIS In Gandang Gabi Vice!

It was Sunday...no Showtime but we had an ANNE ATTACK! Anne commercials, Anne in ASAP, Anne in Rated K, and Anne in Gandang Gabi Vice...she is not that busy noh?

But honestly i really don't mind...she is Anneterefic!

Gandang Gabi Vice started with the usual Vice Ganda singing her opening number..its already September so she sang a Christmas song...then the trio of Happy Yippe Yihey came out RJR...then come throwing of Punchlines making the people laugh more and more! I guess its really not funny when your face is the one making others laugh...when you are not even a comedian..wahahahaha!

Then came out Anne...ang Diyosa!

She made different poses for different magazines...both Anne and Vice are like little children...they couldn't care less...they are having so much fun!

She sang her signature song ALONE...in different versions...Rock, R&B and operatic...Anne is really game..she never says no..even if Vice is making fun of her na!

Well, all in all it was a fun show! What a way to end the Sunday night!
