AU wrapped up its Spring 2009 season with a tremendous victory over the Indianapolis Impalas men's rugby club. The weather was beautiful and the atmosphere was intense. The Impalas took an early seven-point lead with just minutes off of the clock which turned out to be just the first of four lead changes. The Raven forwards, despite being lighter than the RedHawk pack, displayed considerable discipline in holding their own in scrums. The exhausting contest was still 0-0 with only four minutes left on the clock when Miami first crossed the tryline. Despite a quality performance, Anderson lost 0-7.

The second game was against DePauw University of Greencastle. The first points were put on the board by team captain Adam Klunzinger, which put the score at 5-0 at the half. The Ravens managed two more tries with successful conversions in the second half.
