Using the the Line Tool, let’s create two lines as shown. This will be our reference for the Christmas tree

Let’s place our Santa Claus Icon in the center of our tree. Using the Pen Tool, draw some lines like I’ve shown below. In order to do that, we need to change the way we will create our lines. Instead of using the Shape Layer, let’s choose Paths

Using the Pen Tool, let’s round our lines choosing the Convert Point Tool

Change the Blending Mode to Color Dodge, then create a new layer inside this folder and name it “Stars path.” Next open your Brushes Palette (Window > Brushes) and select the Brush shown below

To create the star tree, make sure that you have selected the “Star path” layer. Using the Path Selection Tool (A), Ctrl-click Stroke Path. A dialog box will appear, and in there choose Brush. Make sure that the brush you created is selected

In this tutorial we are going to create a very cool looking Girl wallpaper. In this tutorial we will combine digital painting, some design elements and a photo to create an amazing wallpaper with photoshop

Create a new document with these dimensions.

Open this image in a separate document. Our goal is to crop the girl from the background. There are many ways to do that, but in this situation I recommend you to use Magic Eraser tool - I think it is called so.

So let's start erasing that white color.

The Magic eraser does a lot to save time and it is very easy to erase monotone color backgrounds. it does a lot, but not everything - the edges of the objects do have a small edge line with different color pixel. IF you want to generate a good edged cut you must walk over the whole edge line. To view the other color pixels I recommend you to create a layer underneath the object you want to cut and fill or paint over the edges with different by contrast color.

Work extremely zoomed in to see and erase all the pixels you don't need.

Now when you have clear contour you can drag the girl to our initial document.

Create a document underneath the girl layer and fill it with

color - this will be the initial color to for further color tone harmony. I choose neutral Blue.

Then choose black to white gradient - set the layer Blending mode to Pin light and make several slide with this gradient giving us something like this effect. Note to turn Pin light.

As our effect is black color, we need to choose the right layer blending mode so we can see the initial blue color. Choose - and select the one you think is good. I've chosen soft light and the result is this.

Warp it a little bit.

Now it is time to bring some contrast: select soft edged brush with low flow parameters. Create a new layer underneath the Girl layer (set the layer mode to Overlay). Select something like light blue color; apply color on the top and near the head area.

Pick another color and paint a little bit with it too.

The next thing I did was - I began to apply glow to the character - the Girl. I'm going to use layer styles for that.

I've also applied some effects like small little bubbles using custom brush (on a new layer).

Now we’re going to create our grass background. Right click on the background layer>>blending options>>Pattern overlay and load or choose the grass pattern that you’ve downloaded.

Now go to Filter>>Render>>lighting effect

Style: Triple Spotlight, Light Type: Spotlight, Intensity: 35, Focus:100 , Gloss:0 , Material:69 ,Exposure:65 , Ambience:13 , and Texture Channel:none.

Next thing we are going to be doing is creating the actual soccer lines for our feilds. Select the rectangle tool, color:ffffff and create a nice big rectangle across the grass leaving space around the rectangle.

Now we’re going to be doing the same steps for the rest of the boxes on the field. Create a another rectangle box, color:#fffff. Now change the layer opacity to 10% and layer fill to 0. Then right click on the rectangle layer>>blending options>>stroke>> size:3px, position:inside, blend mode:normal, opacity:100, Fill Type:color, #ffffff

Create another rectangle inside of the one we’ve just created color:#ffffff. Now change the layeropacity to 10% and layer fill to 0. Then right click on the rectangle layer>>blending options>>stroke>> size:3px, position:inside, blend mode:normal, opacity:100, Fill Type:color, #ffffff

Now select the rounded rectangle tool color:#ffffff and create a small circle at the top of our rectangle.

Now change the layer opacity to 10% and layer fill to 0. Then right click on the rectangle layer>>blending options>>stroke>> size:3px, position:inside, blend mode:normal, opacity:100,Fill Type:color, #ffffff. Then select the eraser tool(square brush) and just drag it down half of the circle leaving the upper half untouched.

Group all the layers we’ve just created for our soccer field lines except of the big rectangle. Then right click on the group and duplicate it. After you have duplicated the group go to Edit>>Transform>>flip horizontal.

Select the type tool, font: Arial,bold size 200px, smooth. Create a fancy text you would like to use. I used Webdevtuts for the example. Then change the text opacity to 30%.

Right click on the text layer>>blending options>>drop shadow. blend mode:multiply, opacity:100,angle:120, distance:5, spread:65, size:5,

Now select inner shadow. blend mode:multiply, opacity:100, angle:120, distance:0, spread:0,size:35,

Now select Bevel & Emboss. style:inner bevel, technique:smooth, depth:205, direction:up,size:174, soften:16.

angle:120, altitude:30, highlight mode:screen color:#dbdbdb, opacity:75, shadow mode:multiply color:#64781c, opacity:75

Now select pattern overlay. Choose the grass pattern again that we used for our background.

Now select stroke. size:1, position:outside, angle:120, blend mode:normal, opacity:100,color:#000000.

You should now have something like this.

Open up your stock image and duplicate it by clicking on the layer and dragging it to the New Layer icon down the bottom (it’s the one to the left of the trash can). Name this layer Base, desaturate it (Ctrl+Shift+U) and duplicate it again. The reason I am doing this is that I like to have multiple stages of my base image, just in case I mess up, so that I can come back at any given time and fix errors

First, a Levels layer, then a Brightness/Contrast layer, and last a Curves layer. You can add each by going to Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Levels/Brightness/Curves depending on which you’re adding. Adjustment layers allow you to change the properties of the image below without actually destroying or changing image data

Click on that mask, and then using a softish brush gently paint black over the areas where you do not want the curves layer to show through. Remember that when you add a layer mask, white lets the layer show through and black hides it

Now go to Layer>Flatten Image and save the file as Displacement.psd. DO NOT CLOSE THE FILE, as you will lose everything. Hit Ctrl+Z to undo the ‘Flatten Image’ command and now go to File > Save As and save the file as Tattoo.psd or any other name apart from Displacement.psd

Open up your Gomedia free vectors file in Illustrator (preferably, but you can also open it in Photoshop)

Before we get started, lets compare the original with the result. As you’ll see we’re taking a great photo and making it really punchy by getting it really contrasty and changing the color palette

It’s a great shot from iStockPhoto of someone tearing up a wave. Even without any Photoshopping it’s already looking pretty good

Our first step is to up the contrast, you can do this by going to Image > Adjustments > Brightness/Contrast. I’ve upped the contrast by 20 and upped the brightness to stop the photo from getting too dark

Next we duplicate the layer and press Shift-Ctrl-U to desaturate the copy to Black and White

Set the Black and White layer to Overlay and 60%. This gives us a nicely adjusted photo

Now with a large, soft brush, create a new layer and paint some black on the edges as shown. When you’re done, set that layer to Overlay and 50% or thereabouts

Now with this method, you should be adjusting to compensate for your specific image. In this photo of the surfer, there is some extra noise in the bottom left

Create a new layer on top, fill it with black, and set the blending mode to Color. Then we change the Opacity to just 30%, this effectively desaturates the image a little, but by adjusting opacity we can control this easily and without doing anything permanent

Use my image from istock photo or ur mine. It’s a pretty gorgeous photo with great sunset lighting and contrast for us to build on lets start this photoshop tutorilas

Duplicate the photo, press Ctrl-Shift-U to desaturate the image to Black and White. Then go to Image > Adjustments > Brightness/Contrast and make the image a bit brighter and contrastier as shown

Go to Filters > Blur > Gaussian Blur and apply a mild blur of 2px

Now we set the blurred black and white layer to blending mode Overlay and Opacity 50%. This gives us a slightly surreal blurring on the image

Then use the Eraser Tool with a large, soft brush and remove some areas where you don’t want as much pink to shine through (this was pretty arbitrary for me and just gives the image more depth rather it being uniformly colored). We then set the blending mode to Color and 20% Opacity

Here’s the image after adding the pink

Duplicate the original colored layer and put it on top of all the other layers. Then go to Filter > Stylize > Glowing Edges and use settings of 1, 11, and 15 respectively for Width, Brightness, and Smoothness

Now we go to Filter > Blur > Radial Blur and apply settings as shown. Make sure that you have set the blur method to Zoom (not Spin). Also importantly move the Blur Center until it’s roughly in the position of the image where the woman was standing

creen blending mode basically knocks out darker colors to only leave the lighter ones. This is the opposite to Multiply which knocks out any lighter colors and just leaves darker ones. This is really handy for when you have say a logo on a white background and you want to apply it to an image but don’t want to cut it out – instead you just set it to Multiply

Go to Image > Adjustments > Hue/Saturation and tick the box that says Colorize to add some more color to the light rays. Then move the sliders around until you get a reddish tint and press OK

Now repeat the process (Glowing Edges > Radial Blur > Screening the Image) a couple of times to get more light rays as shown. Try moving the Radial Zoom filter around a little to get different casts of light to mix together

Next we want to add the big glowing center to the image. So create a new layer on top of all the others and get a large, soft brush and with White as your foreground color paint a blob of white over where the woman’s silhouette is

Now add an Outer Glow of yellow set to Overlay (as shown). You can do this by right clicking on the layer and selecting Blending Options

Now in your tools palette choose the Smudge Tool (R) which you can see in the image. Using your mouse, smudge your ball of light outward

Using the filter though just create a new layer on top and draw a circle as shown and fill it with white. Set it to blending mode Overlay and about 10% Opacity. Then create a new layer and do the same with a smaller circle and repeat again a couple of times until you have a subtle lens flare as show

Now in new layers we paste in some of our vector images. I’ve used a sort of swirly wing thing from Arsenal’s Freebie Section and also the capital letter A from a font called Porcelain, which you can get from Misprinted Type for free

Now fit the three images together as shown. When we switch them to white, we want most of the objects to be obscured with just bits of swirl poking out the edges

So now for each layer we press Ctrl+I to invert the color from Black to White and then right-click the layers and select Blending Options. Then we add an Outer Glow as shown to make them fit in with the main ball of ligh

You should now have something that looks like the image below

we’ll first give ourselves a nice background gradient. Now while most gradients are two-color, in Photoshop you can actually make much more complex gradients by clicking on the Gradient icon in the top left

for example I’ve used the letter "Q" with blue- green color

I basically went through all the different types of layer styles and just experimented with them all. Decrease Fill Opacity to 20%,using different blending modes, and building the layers up slowly

here is the result of my layer style

Now hold down Ctrl and click on the Q layer to select the shape and add a white to transparent gradient coming from the bottom into a NEW layer.You can do color to transparent gradients by clicking on the Gradient Tool in the top left and holding it down to see the whole set of gradients

Now again hold Ctrl and select the Q layer. In a new layer, again add a radial white to transparent gradient, this time coming from the top down as shown. Fade this one out by setting its opacity to 40%

Now on the same layer as in the last step, draw an ellipse with the Selection Tool and hit Ctrl+Shift+I to select the inverse. Then hit delete to remove some of that gradient that we just drew

Glow glass shines, so lets add some highlights to make it look really shiny. You can do this by choosing the Custom Shape Tool (U) and then in the top left click on Polygon and then on the down arrow to get options as shown. Tick Star and make sure your indent is set to 99%

In this tutorial i will show you how to create a sleek Administration Panel Layout.For start you will need to create a new document

I will use Paint Bucket Tool to add a color over my white background. The color i have used is : efebe8

I will use Rectangle Tool to create the header of this Admin panel.

Bellow you can see the layer styles i have used for the header

I will create a shape also on the footer, and as you can see from the next image, i have used the same layer style.

Under the header shape i will create another one.

Here are the layer styles used for the second shape.

Under the second shape i will create another shape, with the same layer styles, but in this case i have used a darker color.

With Rectangle Tool i will create some shapes. These will be soon our buttons. As you can see i have used the same layer styles, but with different color for the first button.

I will create another shapes on the body of our layout. please click on the following image to see better my result.

Then i will create the header of the boxes. Of course i have used the Rectangle Tool, but this time i have used the dark layer styles.

Next step is to add some dark icons. You can use any icon you like

On the top right box i will create another shape. Here we will create a chart later in this tutorial where you can track the sales, traffic, or any other thing you like.

With Line Tool i will create some vertical lines. Please note that the lines need to be 1 pixel width.

With the same tool i will add some horizontal lines.

I will fill all my admin template with another horizontal lines like in the following image. Please click on the following image to see better my result.

I will add a small arrow on the header of each box, and then i will start to fill also each box with images, icons, and text.

As you can see i will use only Horizontal type tool to add some text. You can use different size for the fonts, and you can use also different colors.

I will return now to finish my chart. With Ellipse Tool i will create some small circles.

I will use the following layer style for the red dots. You can change the layer style for the green dots alone.

Then i will select Line Tool, and i will set the width to 3 pixels. I will create different lines with different colors.

On the top of the layout i will add another icons and text.

Then i will type some vertical text, with Vertical Type Tool.

I will fill all the boxes from the left side with text, and images. Here is my result so far.

On the top right side of the layout i will add another icon with a envelope, and over it i will add a badge similar with the badge you have on your Mac OS X Leopard. It seems on Mac OS X lion the badges are a little smaller.

In this tutorial photoshop we will try to listen about a manga "fairy tale".in concept we will make a ecology in fairy tale

Create a document with size 1200×800 pixels. Fill the background with a linear top-down gradient with color from #CCCCCC to #FFFFFF

Select the Pen tool, set it to Shape Layers mode at the top menu and draw a simple shape for the pebble that you want it to be. You can fill the shape with any color for now

find a Sand Texture to your personal liking, otherwise you can download the one I used here from Texturise.com. Position the texture so that it covers the whole pebble. Right-click on the pebble layer to load its selection, then click on the Add Vector Mask button

Repeat the same process for the grass texture. You can download the one I am using here, made from FrozenStocks. Select the grass layer and go to Filter > Sharpen > Sharpen to bring out more details

Select the Brush tool open up the Brush Preset Picker panel. Look for the brush named Chalk 60 pixels. Set the Foreground Color to #000000. Now click on the black and white mask on the Grass layer and start paint around the border of the pebble shape

apply a Drop Shadow layer style to the grass. Set the angle to 90 degrees. This is roughly what you will get. Let us now work on the sand texture

Repeat this process a few more times, considering the light source coming from top left

Unhide the earlier pebble shape layer you drawn. Right-click on the layer and choose Rasterize. Go to Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur. Set the Radius to 5 pixels then the layer Opacity to 40%. Select Edit > Free Transform and scale it vertically downwards as shown in the diagram below

You have the basic shadow for your pebble already but we also need to enhance the shadow where the pebble is actually touching the floor

Zoom in so we can get a better view. Using the black paint brush with a smaller size this time, paint at the part where you want the pebble to touch the floor

And there you have your first pebble! Make more pebbles in various shapes and sizes to fill up the document

I want to make it more fantasy-like and there is a beautiful stock gallery provided by Shoofly Stock. The high quality items inside is able to fill up your pebbles in a variety of themes

Open firstly a new file: File - New

On a new window must be opened the texture of leather: File - Open (ctrl+o)

Rectangular Marquee Tool, make a copy of it: Edit - Copy(ctrl+c) and get back to the Wallpaper file to insert the copy on a new layer: Edit - Paste (ctrl+v). Correct the texture's size by using the next option: Edit - Free Transform (ctrl+t). Copy this layer:Layer - Duplicate Layer (ctrl+j) and blur out the copy with the next selection: Filter - Blur - Gaussian Blur

Change the layer's blending mode on Multiply

Layer - Merge Down (ctrl+e) and correct a little the color. First apply the next command: Image - Adjustments - Hue/Saturation (ctrl+u)

Image - Adjustments - Photo Filter

Make the picture look sharper now: Filter - Sharpen Then on two new layers you'll have to introduce the next texture

One of these layers must be turned around, firstly vertically: Edit - Transform - Flip Vertical, then horizontally: Edit - Transform - Flip Horizontal. Make use after that of the Polygonal Lasso Tool to delete those places on both layers where we have fewer fissures

Applying the same instrument, we should mark out the texture's part which will be erased carefully along the fissures line

Erase the marked place and combine the layers containing the fissures (ctrl+e)

Correct after that this layer, the copy must be blurred out (Gaussian Blur) and change the layer's type on Linear Burn. Group both layers: Layer - Create Clipping Mask (ctrl+g) and merge them down (ctrl+e)

Correct now the brightness and the contrast of the layer using Image - Adjustments - Curves(ctrl+m). Then you'll have to correct also the color's nuance and its intensiveness: Image - Adjustments - Hue/Saturation (ctrl+u)

Add the shadow: Layer - Layer Style - Blending Options

Copy this layer to be easier to work with it (ctrl+j). Mark out the background the leaf is placed on, using Select - Color Range

Make use of the next option: Select - Modify - Expand (5px) to erase the marked place. Insert the leaf on a new layer after that, under the layer with the fissures

Make the bright places on the leaf look brighter with the Dodge Tool

And change its color with Image - Adjustments - Color Balance (ctrl+b)

Add the shadow too: Layer - Layer Style - Blending Options

Pass to that layer containing the fissured texture and make the light parts of it look brighter too. It's possible to use the same instrument (Dodge Tool)

Select the Pen Tool to represent the necessary logotype on the next picture

Pass to the layer with the leather's texture, copy the marked place (ctrl+c) and insert it on a new layer (ctrl+v). This layer must be darker and you'll have to use for this Image - Adjustments - Curves(ctrl+m)

Apply the next command: Layer - Layer Style - Blending Options with the following adjustments

Combine the layers with the logotype and the leather's texture (ctrl+e). Apply then the filter to the new layer: Filter - Render - Lightness Effects

After that, correct one more time its color with the next options: Curves (ctrl+m) and Hue/Saturation(ctrl+u)

Next step includes merging down all the layers: Layer - Merge Visible (shift+ctrl+e)

Make the new picture look sharper a little. It's possible to make it this way by using Filter - Sharpen - Unsharp Mask

Choose next the Gradient Tool and dark out the picture's edges

How To Create Blast In The City Effect In Photoshop "City in Attack"

In this tutorial you will learn how to create a war scene which contains some fighter planes and a big explosion.This step-by-step tutorial is also available for download so you can save it on your computer for later usage

Find the images required to create the effect.

1. An image of a city. It’s good to find a city image taken from above;

2. Two or three fighter plane images taken from different angles;

3. Two or three cloud images. Find good cloud images as clouds are used to create the fire or the blast effect

Create a new document with the following size: width: 1500px and height: 1125px. The resolution is your choice. If you are making it for print purpose, you should choose it over 300 dpi. For web, 72 dpi is a good choice

Insert your city image where you’d like to create the blast on a new layer

Insert the image of a cloud on a new layer above the city image layout. Make sure the cloud is big enough to cover the entire document

With the cloud layer selected press CTRL+U to open the hue/saturation window and perform the below steps.

•Check colorize option on bottom right, just above the “Preview” check box.

•Set hue value to 30 or you can set your own hue value. The idea is to give a red hue to the clouds

With the cloud layer selected, perform the below steps:

• Press Ctrl+J to create a duplicate layer of the cloud;

• Press CTRL+T to transform it;

• Right click and press flip horizontally

Change the layer mode to Linear Dodge (Add)

Your effect should look like the in image below. It looks like there is fire all over the city

Choose Eraser(E) tool from the tools window and erase the parts from the image where you don’t want the fire effect

Now find an image of the sky and insert it on a new layer on top. Perform the steps below:

• Erase the bottom part of the sky;

• Decrease its opacity to 66%;

• Change the layer mode to luminosity

• Right click and press flip horizontally

Now here is the interesting part, where the cloud collection comes into play. This is the most important part of the fire effect. One step which is repeating in my tutorial is to insert a cloud and then colorize it into red and change its mode to overlay or Color Dodge. My advice is that you should not go with my mode option. Try your own modes. Play with some modes and maybe you can make a more realistic effect.

•Insert a cloud image

•Erase hard edges

Press Ctrl + U, check the colorize option (don’t change the color mode for the first cloud layer)

Insert more clouds, erase hard edges and press CTRL+U. Colorize and hue values should be 30. Change color mode to overlay

Insert another cloud in and erase hard edges. Press CTRL + U, colorize and hue values should be 30, color modeOverlay

Change its color mode to overlay

Create a blank layer, color it red and change its mode to screen, layer opacity 54%

Insert more clouds, erase hard edges and press CTRL+U, colorize and hue values should be 30. Change color mode to hard light

Now insert your image with the fighter plane and erase the background. Just click on the pen tool, trace your image and then use Ctrl + Enter and CTRL+ SHIFT+ I to delete the background

Insert two small aircrafts and change their color mode to luminosity, to match with the background

Insert a big aircraft. To make it in motion, go to Filter- blur –radial blur

Now make a solid layer with color. Color: #51301c mode: color opacity:28%

Now make another a solid layer with color. Color: # 6c0202 mode: Overlay opacity: 28%

Make another solid layer with color Color: # 710802 mode: SoftLight opacity: 14%

Now make a curve adjustment; make a S shape curve and opacity: 52%

Adding a gradient1. Open Photoshop (no way!)
2. Create a new document, 1028 (width) by 768 (height) pixels. Use your own size if you want to.
3. Create a new layer (or use the Background layer)
4. Use the GRADIENT tool to create a colorful background. Choose the colors to be a lighter blue and a darker blue.
5. Create a new layer.
6. Use various TECH RINGS brushes of different sizes to create some of the background riffraff. Make the color BLACK. Put these somewhere around the left-hand side.

7. Double click on this layer in the LAYERS panel to edit its settings. Change blending mode to SOFT LIGHT and edit the OPACITY so that it’s at about 50. Click OK.
8. Create a new layer.
9. Use any GRUNGE brush you want with the color set still as BLACK and the size at about 1250 pixels. Stamp this onto the background.

10. Double click the layer and edit OPACITY so that it is less than 35. Hit OK!
11. Go to FILE -> PLACE and find the Sasuke render.
12. Drag it so Sasuke is in the position you see in the finished wallpaper above. You might want to make the image bigger to cover more space. Hit the ENTER key when you’re done positioning.
13. Double click on Sasuke’s layer and adjust OUTER GLOW settings to match those in the screen shot! Click OK.

14. Right-click on Sasuke’s layer, then hit DUPLICATE LAYER.
15. Choose the bottom Sasuke layer and drag it to somewhere on the right side of the image.

16. With this layer selected, go to FILTER (at the top) -> DISTORT -> WAVE and follow the settings in the screenshot! Click OK.

18. Create a new layer and drag it below the two Sasukes.
19. Use the GRADIENT TOOL to create a gradient on this layer. Set the colors to black and white!
20. Go to FILTER -> RENDER -> DIFFERENCE CLOUDS
21. Double-click this layer and change the blending mode to OVERLAY. Click OK!

23. Select the BRUSH TOOL. Change your stroke to one of the basic circle brushes (to get the basic brushes back, click the tiny arrow, in the brushes panel, that’s next to the MASTER DIAMETER adjustment. BASIC BRUSHES is in the sixth section of the brush menu) and set hardness to 0% and size to around 450 pixels. Make the color BLACK, and make sure brush stroke OPACITY is set to 75%.
24. Use the brush to darken the corners of the image, as seen in the screenshot. Make sure it is especially dark around Sasuke’s leg, to almost give it a fading into shadows effect! Oooh…

25. Double-click this layer and set OPACITY to something around 50-55. Click OK.
26. Use the TEXT TOOL to type “Sasuke” in Eccentric STD, size 200, color black. Make sure this new text layer is beneath the first three layers. Tilt the text (use the MOUSE TOOL, hit CONTROL/COMMAND + T) and place it behind Sasuke, as seen in the image.

Adjusting the text's outer glow27. Double-click this layer. Change the blending mode to SOFT LIGHT and make the OPACITY around 30. Don’t click OK yet.
28. Give the text an OUTER GLOW with the settings shown in the screenshot.
29. Now create more text that says “Uchiha” in Freshbot font, size 120, black color. Position it as seen in the screenshot.

Create a new document (Ctrl+N) 1024×768 of size applying black color #000000

Create new layer select Brush Tool from tool panel set (813px) of size and paint it with white color right side as like in preview

Select Text Tool and type a text, we are creating window 7 wallpaper so we type here (7) with white color #ffffff

Select Ellipse Tool and create a circle with black color #000000 back side of the text layer name it layer Top 1st Circle

Down the Opacity (5%) of this top 1st circle layer

Duplicate this circle, transform it (Ctrl+T) and down the size of duplicate circle layer and name it layer Top 2nd Circle

After down the size of top 2nd circle layer set it little bit upper side of the top 1st circle layer

Select text layer rasterize it select Eraser Tool and erase the top and bottom area of this text layer as like in preview

Select Ellipse Tool again and create a circle bottom area of text with white color #ffffff as like in picture below name it layer Bottom 1st Layer

Down the Opacity (10%) of this bottom 1st circle layer

Duplicate Bottom 1st circle layer and transform it (Ctrl+T) name this duplicate layer Bottom 2nd Circle

Set little bit upper side of this bottom 2nd circle layer

Select Pen Tool and create a shape with this color #cbfdfe name it layer 1st Shape

Go to Layer > Layer Style and applying some Blending Options to this 1st shape layer

After applying these layer styles we get awesome result

Duplicate this 1st shape layer and set down side as like in preview and name it layer 2nd shape

Select the 2nd shape layer right click on this layer and clear all old layer style, now go to the Blending Option and applying the Layer Styles on 2nd shape layer

Select all the four shapes and set them as like in picture below

Select Text Tool and type some text as like I am typing (Windows 7)

Go to the Blending Options and applying Outer Glow on text layer

After applying outer glow get result

Create new layer again select any Flower Brush and applying brush upper left corner to the canvas with white color #ffffff

Go to the Blending Options and applying Outer Glow on this flower brush layer

After complete this procedure here we get an awesome windows 7 wallpaper in final preview

How to Make a Colorful Pictures for Windows7 Wallpaper in Photoshop

In this tutorial We will try how to make your own Windows7 wallpaper

Final Result Preview

The first thing you have to do is to decide what size you want for your wallpaper. I used 2000×1200 pixels because I wanted to make sure I can go with lower resolutions

get the Gradient Tool (G) and, choose the radial type and the Foreground to Background preset. Now set the Foreground color to #1c1c1c and the Background color to #090909

pen the concrete texture and paste it on a new layer above your background layer scaling it down to fit your document. Change the blend mode to Overlay

Get the Ellipse Tool (U) and draw a perfect circular shape. Use the guides to draw it right on the center of the canvas. Hold down Shift+Alt while you draw it.

The diameter of my circular shape is about 350px but yours will depend on the size of your canvas. I used the color #2b2b2b for this shape. I added the paper texture to it. The blend mode of the texture is Linear Burn and opacity 25

Create a new layer under the circular shape and name it horizontal light. Draw a soft white line with the Brush and use the Motion Blur filter to stretch it horizontally. Set the blend mode to Overlay. Duplicate the layer for a stronger effect

Now let’s add some 3D effects to this. I added a couple of borders to my circular shape. I added a 14px stroke to the circular shape and then I turned the effect into a separate layer.

Another way of doing it is by drawing a circular selection with the Elliptical Marquee Tool (M) and stoke the selection. Then I made another one but a bit smaller

Now let’s add some style to these two borders. I will only explain one of them, then apply the same style to the other one. The first effect I added is the Gradient Overlay. I went for a dark metallic look. Then I added some 3D effects with Bevel/Emboss and finally some Drop Shadow.

Apply the same style to the other border but maybe change the angle of the light on Bevel/Emboss and use a lighter Gradient Overlay. See image below for details

Download the PNG logo and open it in PhotoshopThen, when the selection is loaded, right click and choose Make Work Path. You must have a selection tool selected in order to do that. When the Path is created, go to Edit>Define Custom Shape, give it any name you want and click OK to save it

Now get the Custom Shape Tool and you should see the windows logo on the list. Select it and draw the logo o a new layer above the circular shapes. Use the guides to center it and hold down the Shift key while you draw so that you keep the aspect ratio

Bevel & Emboss

Inner Glow

Next I added some Outer Glow with the default color. This will not look very good right now but it’s useful when we will add the lights under the logo later one

Now add some shadows

Now select the Polygonal Lasso Tool (L) and create some rectangular selections like in the image below and fill them with white. When you’re done, reduce the layer’s Opacity to about 80%

Use a soft brush and paint two white spotlights on the logo and change the blend mode to Overlay

Add another gloss effect like in the image blow. Use 50% Opacity and Overlay mode

Now let’s throw in the colors. Get a big soft brush and paint the colors under the logo with a single stroke like in the image below. I painted the traditional Windows colors but you can use whatever you like. I used the Color Dodge blend mode. See the image below for details

We must make the colored lights brighter. In order to make my work easier I grouped the four lights and I named the group Color Dodge. Then I duplicated the group and I changed the blend mode of the layers inside to Vivid light. That made the colors brighter. See image below

You can make the lights even brighter if you add some Outer Glow with Color Dodge blend mode to the circular shape that you made on Step 3. See image below

I also added colorful lights on the logo itself. This is how I made them. First, duplicate the logo vector created on Step 8 and rasterize the layer. Then, using the Polygonal Lasso Tool (L) select each of the four squares of the logo and cut them on separate layers below the original logo.

When you have it, go ahead and add Outer Glow to each of them using different colors. Below you can see the styles I applied to create the blue glow. Just apply the same style to the other three squares and change the color

Now let¡s go with the text. You can type whatever you want or even not add the text at all. I used the Eras Light ITC.Use white color for the text and Overlay blend mode. Add some shadow, it will look a lot better. To give it a nicer look I added some spot lights over the text

I will teach you how to use several techniques which can be very usefull in text-manipulation! This random metal text looks a bit like the NeedForSpeed-logo

First Begin your document with black text of any choice

Selecht the text and create a new layer and go to Select>Modify>Expand and choose a setting that expands your selection by doubling it

Apply Smoothning on the object

Add these layer-styles to the object and place it behind the text

Select the silver and go to Select>Modify>Contract and choose 3 pixels.

Then press CTRL+SHIFT+I to invert the selection and fill this with black.
