Audrie’s shoot was a fun mix of urban, natural and cheer She is my first senior to show off her awesome tumbling skills and let me capture them on camera…check out the last image, this girl can jump! When we did her shoot a few weeks back, she was still trying out for college teams and wasn’t sure where she was headed but I learned a few days ago she Lawrence bound! Although I am a Mizzou girl, I am very happy for her and know she will love being a Jayhawk! It was also really cute to have her little sister in tow and available for some shots at the end – teaching her cheer moves. Thank you Audrie for a fun and different shoot, good luck next year! Sweet and sincere best describes Alyssa’s personality. She was so pleasant to work with and I really enjoyed our shoot around West KC and Loose Park. The flowers were just starting to come alive at this time and I love the shots with the bright yellow and lovely pastels. I also really love the images below with the blue wall, we found this while walking around and not only is the wall really neat but Alyssa looks beautiful! Allie is not only adorable, bubbly and outgoing but she is also incredibly genuine. I think these images truly capture who Allie is, beautiful and full of life. We spent the early morning hours running around Kauffman gardens and The Nelson. Kauffman has planted so many beautiful flowers this spring and the tulips were particularity amazing. I love all the great color from Allie’s shoot but above all, I loved capturing her contagious laughter and sweet smile. Thank you Allie for laughing without restraint and being such a joy to work with. As excited as a kid on Christmas morning, I hope you love your images Good luck next year, Andrea.

Kansas City Senior Photography – Haley

For Haley’s shoot we ran around downtown Weston and the surrounding area. It was a perfect fit with her cute cowboy boots and sweet personality. Off to Western Kentucky to play soccer next year, I loved talking about college athletics with her and reliving my days as a student athlete. She is going to have an unforgettable college experience and I am thrilled for her! I love so many of these shots including the ones with her WKU hat and soccer ball, too cute! The red barn with the light shining through the slats are also a few of my faves. Thank you for a wonderful shoot Haley, I wish you tons of luck next year – enjoy every minute of it! Andrea

Hello beautiful red hair! I had so much fun working with Maddie and capturing not only her natural beauty but delightful personality. Headed to NYC next year for school it was only fitting that we capture her in an urban environment with her NYU sweatshirt and an impromptu pose by a U Haul that just happen to have the Statue of Liberty on it, ha! We spent part of her shoot in the West Bottoms and the other part in Loose Park. The West bottoms is always a popular location for shoots but I loved finding new and unique spots to photograph, a little off the beaten path. Thank you Maddie for a wonderful shoot and enjoy New York next year, so jealous Andrea

I photographed Marcus’s brother Chris a few years back so I was thrilled when I got the opportunity to work with Marcus. He is such a genuine guy and stand-up individual, I enjoyed not only photographing Marcus but getting to know him during our shoot. I found it particularly interesting that he wants to pursue a career in the culinary world and wants to become a chef, so cool! He also loves soccer and Sporting KC, so it was only fitting that we take a few shots at the Sporting stadium. I had never been to the stadium and had a blast utilizing the unique and beautiful architecture. We finished his shoot near Briarcliff and I love so many of the fun shots we captured. I was so excited to finally work with Victoria! Not only was she a gem to photograph but she has been a trooper waiting to get her images taken Her initial shoot was planned for last August but after some pregnancy complications my doctor asked me to take it easy and Victoria graciously rescheduled. I realize there are many photographers to choose from and she could have easily moved on which is why I love my clients! I work with such amazing young people with such big hearts and I really appreciate them! I love so many of these shots we took at Kauffman gardens and the Plaza, it was hard to choose what to post. Kansas City senior photography – Abbie

You wouldn’t know it by looking at these photos but it was super cold during this shoot – much like today with snow on the ground! I feel like I reference the weather in almost every senior shoot I have done this Spring but that is exactly how crazy it has been! Abbie was a trooper and kept warm between shots with a cozy blanket and a hug from mom (see the last image). We had Red Barn Farm in Weston all to ourselves and I loved being able to take advantage of all the great spots this wonderful location has to offer. I really enjoyed working with Abbie and capturing her bright and sweet personality. Not to mention, Abbie is a swimmer so it was fun to chat about all things swimming, which never gets old for me. Kansas City portrait photography – Abby

Sweet little Abby turned one in March and I was so honored to capture this little gal’s big birthday – plus we share the same birthday month Her sweet demeanor made her easy to photograph and I love so many of the moments between her and her parents. I also caught a little glimpse into my near future as I realized Tennison would soon be where Abby is, walking, running, walking and more running. Did I mention she liked to run On one occasion we tried to have her sit for a few photos but I should have know better, when you first learn to use those little legs all you want to do is move! Kansas City senior photography – Hanna

Storm clouds were on the horizon for most of Hanna’s shoot and I am pretty sure it started raining the second I snapped my last shot – lucky! We were able to capture some amazing images during this time and I love the mix of the urban Westport location to the natural flowers near the Plaza. Some of my faves include the images with her super cute glasses and her stunning blue eyes peaking out from under them I really enjoyed this shoot and using some areas I haven’t been to in a while. Best of luck next year and congratulations on graduation Hanna, Andrea.
