Singapore Christmas Trip #1

I know, some of you out there will be disappointed on me, seriously I know that. A friend of mine asked me: Why YOU NO update for so long? Another was asking: Why every time you said update tonight but I didn't see it when I wake up tomorrow? Last one was even funnier, she said: You're liar, I won't trust you anymore. *in a joking way* Hmm, should be said that, I lost my passion on blogging? Too lazy? Or I am just providing excuses to myself? In fact, I really don't know what to update recently, maybe I rarely attend events or functions. Well, back to this post, I spent quite a lot of time to select and edit the pictures. There are 36 pictures in this post, so this is the post with most pictures in my entire blog huh? Hehe.

Anyway, this is all about last year, two weeks before Christmas 2011. It should be pre-christmas Singapore trip isn't? Drove there, if you read my Malacca's post, you should know that I stopped by Malacca before reached Singapore. Used the second link instead of old link via Johor Bahru, the new link is more convenient and faster, but little bit more expensive.

Actually this post is not about the first day in Singapore, in fact I reached there one night before this. So this is the second day in Singapore. Went to Warren Clubhouse to have lunch, wide and comfortable club.

I wish I could have bowling lanes in my house since young. Just a dream?

Few significant places in Singapore are 'must go'. So I went Marina Bay after lunch. Seen many pictures for this building, yet I feel awesome by looking at it with real sight.

Did not get to ride the Singapore Flyer due to humid whether, it was actually a gloomy day.

Shopped in the Marina shopping mall. I asked my mum to check out the Hermes handbag, she replied me: Are you going to buy me one? I said: No, it's not safe, imagine you are carrying a bungalow house and walk around. Haha! Anyway I hope I can buy her a LV soon. I used to buy things and goods to parents first, then only myself, cause I think that parents alway deserve first. :)

Yummm, one of my dream is perform singing + piano in front of many peoples, but it seems not happening because I am not good in piano, any friend can teach me? Violin as well! Teehee!

Another weird thing about me is I use to think verrryyy much. I am kind of like to imagine, my imagination is superb sometimes. I was wondering what if this thing fell down on my head? Or can I catch it like a ball and kick? -.-

Something really coincident happened! When I was capturing the Christmas tree, all of sudden the girl beside me danced like she is in the club, with the accompaniment of Born This Way by Lady Gaga. Everyone was looking to me and the girl, immediately I walked away with natural response. Then I saw another guy started to dance too, by that moment I knew what was happening. That was a flash mob, what a coincidence! Everyone circled around and watched them dancing for the whole song. Some more I recorded the video with their dancing. That was a little surprise for me. :D

Was sitting at the LV shop's balcony while waiting for parents. They are my nieces, pretty and cute isn't? I like the small one very much, she is freakinggggg cute!

The view from the balcony, it was awesome. I was imagining if I can spend the time here with a girl I love, how nice the feeling it will be.

Okay it was almost dark. Destination point was switched to Orchad Road, another significant place for Christmas lightning. Tell you what, it was freaking tiring to walk the entire road through 5 or 6 shopping malls. A friend is working here, I tried to find her but failed, too bad I don't have 3g access there, so sorry to keep her waiting. See, it was raining, but stopped by the time I reached there. Thanks god.

Yea I love this shop! The shop name is Bon Japan if not mistaken. I love them because I found Shin Chan chocolate biscuits in there. I was thinking to pinch out the two eyes of Elmo, it will be amusing. :P

Haha I told you! She is adorable! Even cuter than Rilakkuma, agree? At least she knows how to smile.

How To Jailbreak iOS 5.0.1 For iPhone 4 (Untethered)

Finally, after a long waiting, the untethered jailbreak version of iOS 5.0.1 is revealed. Previously, for the older jailbreak version which is the 'greenpois0n' on iOS 4, my friend did it for me as he knows it very well. This time, I tried to jailbreak by myself, and guess what? I jailbroken my phone successfully!

Many friends have been asking me how and is it good or stable to jailbreak now. What I could answer is, all based on this tutorial, and this is an untethered version, so it is stable and safe, except for minor bugs in Cydia.

Attention: This tutorial is for Windows user only, for Mac you can refer here. Credits to iClarified.

*For safety purpose, back up your device before proceeding.

#Step 1:

Create a folder on your desktop called Pwnage.

Download the latest version of Redsn0w from here and place it in the Pwnage folder. Likewise, download the 5.0.1 firmware from here and place it in the Pwnage folder too. (Note: If your iPhone firmware already on iOS 5.0.1, you do not need to download the 5.0.1 firmware anymore.)

Extract the Redsn0w .zip file in the folder.

#Step 2:

(Note: You can skip this step if iOS 5.0.1 already installed on your device.) Connect your iPhone to the computer/laptop and launch iTunes.

Select your iPhone from the list of devices on the left. Now hold down Shift and click the Restore button. Restore is preferred as it won't create any wasted space on you iPhone.

Navigate to the Pwnage folder on your desktop and select the 5.0 firmware ipsw. Click the Choose button to continue. iTunes will now update your iPhone to the new firmware.

#Step 3:

Launch the Redsn0w application from the folder that we extracted earlier.

(Note: Windows 7 users may want to try running the redsn0w executable mode as an administrator in Windows Vista compatibility. You can do this by right clicking the executable and selecting Properties from the contextual menu.)

#Step 4:

Once redsn0w opens, click the Jailbreak button.

#Step 5:

Plug your iPhone into the computer and make sure its OFF and then click the Next button.

(Note: For my case, I turned off my phone before I plugged in. When I plugged my iPhone to laptop, my phone started again due to the connection. So, do not click Next immediately after you plugged in, make sure whether your phone is started or not, if restart, turn it OFF again then only click Next button.)

#Step 6:

Redsn0w will now guide you through the steps to get into DFU mode. You can find more help with DFU mode here.

Hold down the Power (right corner) button for 2 seconds.

Hold down the Home button for 10 seconds, without releasing the Power button from earlier step.

Without releasing the home button, release the the Power button, at the same time keep holding the Home button for 15 seconds.

You may release the Home button after 15 seconds if device detected successfully.

#Step 7:

Your iPhone will now reboot.

#Step 8:

Redsn0w will now prepare the jailbreak data.

#Step 9:

Select Cydia from the list of options and click Next.

#Step 10:

Your iPhone will now be rebooted again and Redsn0w will begin uploading the new RAM Disk and Kernel.

#Step 11:

Once this is complete you will be notified that Redsn0w is done. When your iPhone finishes rebooting (5 minutes more or less), it will be jailbroken with Cydia on the Springboard.

There you go! Your iPhone is now jailbroken, enjoy! :D

看来我应该是一个月没有更新我的部落格了，大家还好吗？自从考完试放假后，都很少开电脑。除了睡觉吃饭，在家一开电脑就是玩Tetris，不然就是用电话Whatsapp，Line，和Instagram。我觉得人都很矛盾，读书考试的时候就很想快点放假出街玩，到放假的时候又觉得很闷，哪里都不想去想快点开学。

我觉得这个帖子比较适合用华语来写吧！最近去了马六甲，还是我第一次去。从小就听说红屋红屋，今天终于见识到了。那天我去到了马六甲最出名的街道，那就是鸡场街 (Jonker Walk)。

那边的艺术文化在别的地方都很少见到，密密麻麻的街道，小小的店铺，就是非走不可的那种。虽然卖的东西都有点古老，但是走在街道上感觉特别舒服，可能是华人比较多的地区吧，卖的东西也很便宜。

这个台在My Astro开心乐龙龙的MV里都挤满了人。

我从来都没有看过有那么多种颜色的啊！

进了这件衣服店，里面的面积是超长的！差不多有四间店的长度，好像没有尽头，哈哈！衣服的款式蛮特别，也很便宜。他们都开始挂新年吊饰和播新年歌了，新年的时候来这边应该会很有气氛吧！

很出名的三叔公土产店，也是排长龙的。

走了整天，来个脚底按摩最适合不过。

这间店的食物也很好吃！

还有还有，不能少的鸡粒饭！差不多每一间都是爆满的。

鸡粒饭还不错吃！但是我还是觉得怡保的鸡比较滑比较好吃啦！

你们有没有看到一个有表情的鸡粒饭？哈哈！它好像很怕我会吃掉它！*我没有edit它的，本来就是这样*

最后也走不了多久，因为下雨了，照片也拍到特别少。红屋那条街也没有走到，只是驾车经过而已。

Samsung Galaxy Note. A Phone or Tablet?

If you are looking for new smart phone, I am definitely recommend the latest Samsung Galaxy Note! I got it on hand and tried out the features since last two weeks, until I saw it again at the promo in mall yesterday, I really wish to own a Galaxy Note.

First, nothing else can be compared with its size, it is my ideal smart phone size which fits my palm very well. *my palm is quite huge* It is like I find it hard to consider it as a smart phone or tablet, perhaps both in combination? Sounds great.

Samsung Galaxy Note come with 1.4GHz Dual Core Processor with 5.3"WXGA (1280 X 800, 285 PPI) display plus HD Super AMOLED screen resolution. However, it still sticks with the Android 2.3 (Gingerbread).

As you can see the design and outer appearance of Samsung Galaxy Note, it is just simple and elegant, sexy? The main camera built in with 8MP with LED flash which you can have action shot, beauty, panaroma shot and smile shot. What I want to emphasize is the front camera, I am attracted by its front camera with 2MP which make it so ease and nice for me to camwhore.

For the size, it is 146.85 x 82.95 x 9.65mm at 178g. The Galaxy Note is built in with 16GB internal memory and micro SD slot available up to 32GB.

Seriously I like the S Memo so much which I can draw, write and sketch anything I wish. It is really awesome! You will definitely fall in love with Samsung Galaxy Note.

Yesterday went to watch 'You Are The Apple Of My Eye' with Jess in Ipoh. It is simply a very sweet and romantic memories about high school love which I don't have it. Damn my high school only boys! How good if I experience that kind of love.

Seriously I feel that this could be the best Mandarin movie for the year. It fulls of laughters and tears, with the sweet love path of handsome and pretty main characters. They are perfect match in my heart.

I Am Back!

Hi guys, Drew is back here after a loooooong period of break, personally feel so guilty that have been abandoning this space for so long. As you see I updated my blog, that means I am finally FREE now! I just finished the first semester of my degree, buck up! So I will be updating my blog from time to time which focusing more on my personal lifestyle, I am trying to update once a day, deal?

If you following my Instagram, you should knew that I have cut my hair. I have been sticking with the long fringe for few years, it is like all the same throughout the year. Friends get bored, same here. Without any hesitation, I cut my hair, this time is short one.

I went to A Cut Above salon at Sunway Pyramid which is near bowling concourse, there are two salons under same company there and I don't know why. Got head massage by a pretty girl, it made me feel sleepy, perhaps it was over comfortable?

My hair stylist is good with great skills and experience. The best part was he knows me, he is one of my friend on Fcaebook and he following me on Instagram, I did not realize that until he tells me halfway. By the way he thought me a lot knowledge of how to care our hair.

So pictures below is the outcome of my new hairstyle or changeover, frankly I feel much more relieve and comfort with short hair, seem cool. What I can say is I am very satisfy with it, thanks to Ben J from A Cut Above.

The recent Drew. Got many comments from friends stating that it looks like chicken head, aeroplane hair, and Edison Chen some more. Anyway I am so glad that 100% are good comments where they prefer me in short hair. I was thinking, so am I look terrible with longer hair for the past two years? My god!

Finally I am back here, trying to revive my blog after less updates for a month. Just finished my first paper of final exam, two more weeks to freedom! I never thought that degree life is so much tougher than pre-u, seriously have to catch up and study everyday, especially have to be good in time management. Recently missed out many events due to preparation of final exam, gotta catch up with my friends and blog more after exam kay? :)

Hope Churp Churp brings me luck. lol. Everyone saying that my folder is so cute! *You do the math, we'll cover the rest!* I just finished Maths paper, Churp Churp please cover the rest subjects for me...lol

Now my only wish is can get rid from exam as fast as possible, then I can hang out, chill and party with my buddies. Oh I am curious that how many of you got the free passes and went to XPLAY party at Kota Kinabalu? And also XPLAY FUTURE SOUND SYSTEM at Sepang last week? Some of my friends went and they tell me that was so happening and awesome!

The XPLAY party keeps on getting better, hotter and more massive! The recent XPLAY in Kota Kinabalu was totally another great success. The venue was crowded from as early as 7pm as they were too anxious to get the party started.

Wow spot the pretties! Are they Korean? *too bad I am having exam, grrr!*

Seem like I have been abandoning my blog for more than a week. Few readers asked me to update my blog but recently I hardly have free slot to compose even a blog post. Arthur's Day 2011

It was so happening last Friday's night at Speed City Kuala Lumpur. Everyone was busy posting and tweeting about Arthur's Day. Thanks Nuffnang for the invitation.

Some of my friends claimed that there was severe traffic jam and they took 2 hours to reach and another 2 hours to leave. Fortunately the traffic was smooth and no jam at all when I was heading there. It is Friday again! I am so excited that today has no lectures and tutorials due to the block teaching was held last weekend. It means today is an off day for me, am going to hang out with someone and head to Serdang for Arthur's Day tonight.

This week I am being tortured by assignments due and mid-term test. Finally, there is a short rest for this week. I am not going to be a nerd anymore for following days, I am planning to PARTY ROCK!

Last Friday is my good day, cause I just have one-hour-lecture from 10.30am to 11.30am, sounds great. Then I dated with Angeline and she introduced me her good friend, Katt. It was her birthday too! We went for karaoke session at RedBox, Sunway Pyramid.

We headed to the cinema for Final Destination 5 after karaoke. It was my second time watching FD5, one word to describe my feeling toward the movie. First time: Fascinating. Second time: Feelingless. Two girls insisted to watch and ended up they kept shouting beside me and covered their eyes. lol! Btw I want to watch Smurfs badly, I know I am a bit outdated. =/

We rushed to Sakae Sushi to have our dinner cause I got to go back to hometown around 8pm. Sakae Sushi in Sunway Pyramid just finished their renovation few weeks ago, they have iPad2 as the food menu now, look cool!

When we going back to get our car, I saw the crowd around the Sunway Pyramid Ice. Went to check out due to curiosity, it was the ice-hockey match between Malaysia team and Singapore team.

They all are great players. I watched a while but have to go due to insufficient time. Anyway I have recorded part of it with my little HTC ChaCha to let you all watch the happening match.

I have addicted to HTC ChaCha so much, it is full with photos and videos now. I use it to update my Facebook cause recently I have no time to even turn on my laptop. Alright, gonna continue with my tutorials and assignments, due dates are all around the corner. Have a nice day! =)

HTC ChaCha has the most distinctive design from others, which the the slight angle of its body. It's really fit and comfortable on my palm whenever I am holding it. *I call it curvy style.*

It is a little camera for me now, because I can upload photos easily to my Fcaebook by HTC ChaCha.

Whatever photos I've taken, I just have to click into gallery, I am able to view all my camera shots, downloaded photos, photos on my Facebook and even photos uploaded to Flickr. 3 in 1!

When I am viewing a particular photo, by just clicking the Facebook button, I can choose the destination folder of upload, control the album privacy, add description, and tag my friends. Yea! HTC ChaCha comes with 5 mega pixels camera with auto focus and LED flash, as well as Geo-tagging and face detection.

It has a secondary VGA camera which we can use for Skype or as mirror.

There are many features and settings available for camera function. Like what I said, this is a little cool camera for me!

My recent picture, getting eye bags and pimples due to lack of sleep. Blame the holiday and MU vs Arsenal match!

Do you realize that my blog is infecting by blue color? I have no idea why recently I am so into blue color, like how much I love sky and sea. Last week my parents have a trip to Hong Kong and China, I was a little bit upset that my sisters and me are not able to tag along.

Little sister has tuition classes, I have some jobs to do, and parents say that this is the first time they go to HK so they have to explore nice places and food first, then only can direct us and save time on second trip. Anyway, it was a half business trip for my dad, and probably we will go there on October next year during winter season, following by Taiwan and Korea. =D

I think I should blog more about my family, because they are just so lovely and important for me. I should note down everything they do for me, isn't?

When I am getting bigger, I slowly understand that how much effort they have been putting on us, how great they have been treating us, and how much they love me. I just can't express how much I love them by words. =)

Apollo 18 Laptop Skin by Hydraskins

I believe that most of you having a personal laptop right? Have you ever think to protect your laptop? Or how do you dress up your laptop? Well, three years back I bought a laptop with plain black cover, I realized that there were scratches after few days and I really heartache for it. Two months ago, I bought a new limited edition laptop with texture on the cover, so that if any scratch on it, it's not obvious.

Now, I just feel so insecure to let my laptop 'naked' everyday and everywhere! I decided to protect and dress up my laptop with skin by Hydraskins. I should mention: This is where art meets technology.

Frankly, this is the first time I apply laptop skin. I have no idea about how to paste it on my laptop before this, until I read this manual. So I just have to follow every step listed there and my task will be accomplished.

This is my laptop before applying skin protector. Although it came with textures cover, but sometime I just feel a bit dull with the same outer appearance, and I not really hope that there is any scratch thou it won't be obvious.

#1. Wipe the laptop with clean and smooth cloth to remove any dust or dirt.

#2. Turn decal to the back the measure the desired size for the laptop. Get your pencil and ruler ready.

This is how the grids look like.

#3. After estimated and marked the desired area, start to cut away extra length by following the guidelines to fit your laptop perfectly.

#4. Peel decal slowly and gently from edge while holding down the kraft paper. No worries, it is not sticky on your skin but sticks well on gadget surfaces.

#5. Align centre of decal with laptop and place gently on the laptop surface. With cloth, start rubbing from left to right in zigzag motion. If there are air bubbles, just gently peel back the affected section.

Cool! I just feel so cool after applying this skin protector on my laptop.

As you can see, the skin fix perfectly even though on the curve edge, it looks simply perfect. One thing to remind, I did this by my own for the first time! What a success =)

The skin is water resistant, scratch resistant and clean removal. One thing special, it is reusable! When you get bored of the design, you can always peel off the skin and place back to the decal, change to new design depending on your mood and style, how great isn't?

A good quality product by Hydraskins. I love my 'new laptop', it's not dull anymore!
