G20 Protests at the Bank of England
Here the Police prepare to hold back the G20 protestors in Threadneedle Street outside the Bank of England. The Police were not letting anyone in or out of the area. This was just taken a few minutes before the crowds starting pushing and getting angry at being held back. As you can see I was on the wrong side of the line but I was fortunate to escape after the 1st few surges. Others were not so lucky.

The Question Mark Inside at St. Pauls
On Tuesday I attended a preview of The Question Mark Inside which is a public artwork of digital text projections onto the Dome, West Front and Whispering Gallery by Martin Firrell. The work was commissioned to mark the 300th anniversary of the topping-out of St. Pauls Cathedral and runs until Sunday 15th November 2008. The text being projected in this photo reads "That even a patriarchal religion erects monuments to our life-giving miraculous selves" and was selected from comments left by the public via the Question Mark Inside website. http://thequestionmarkinside.blogspot.com

Police Paradox
A British policeman relaxes and practices yoga at the Frieze art fair in London. Here Gianni Motti's performance art brings a security presence to the fair maintaining "inner peace" through the practice of yoga showing that even the police are affected by the collective stresses caused by the threat of terrorism. The policeman isn't a real policeman - well at least I assume he wasn't a real one.
