The Currency Converter Plus Android App by halmi.sk is a currency converter for the Android platform. When the app first loads you will come to a blank, black screen. From here press the menu button on your Android phone. From here you can convert a currency by pressing the new button, update the app from the update button and search from the search button.

The app is easy to use if you already know the currency code for the country to your are converting for. One feature I would suggest would be to add a list for the user to select a country from. While checking out this app I could not get the update feature to work but other than that not a bad app. It could be very useful to someone who needs a quick reference to currency conversions with the ability to get the most current, up to date numbers.

Overall, not a bad app, it just needs the update feature to work. At the time of this review the Currecny Converter Plus Android App is £0.79 which is approximately $1.15. Needs some work.

The What’s The Time There Android App by What’s The Time There let’s you look up the current time in any country world wide. This app is very useful if you have family and/or friends abroad and need a quick reference before you call them. You can scroll through the list of countries and select one to see the time. A few suggestions:

• Have an option to change the display of times to regular time and military time.
• Fix the search feature, I could not get it to work.

Other than that, this app has two other pretty cool features such as the ability to save your favorite places and the ability to check the time by contact if you have their address stored in their contact file.

Overall, this is a pretty good app for a quick reference of what the current time is in any country world wide. At the time of this review the What’s The Time There Android App is £1.00 which is approximately $1.46. Thumbs Up.

The BoxFaceStacker Android App by anddev.org is a balance game for the Android platform. The object of the game is to stack as many boxes as fast as possible. To drop a box simply press on the screen and a box will appear where you pressed. Then you will need to navigate the box by using the accelerometer feature on your Android phone to land it correctly in order to stack it. The game features 2 modes of gameplay single and multiplayer with a split screen. See how your score matches up to the rest of the world with the worldwide social map highscore feature.

The graphics are simple and clean and the controls are easy to use once you get used to them. You need to drop a few boxes before you can get a feel for the controls. The game could use a few obstacles or different modes of gameplay maybe something to consider for a paid version of the game. As is, the game is still pretty challenging.

Overall, this is a unique game for the Android platform. At the time of this review the BoxFaceStacker Android App is free. Thumbs Up.

The Boss App Android App by Active Research LLC gives you the ability to pull up your work on your computer in seconds in case your boss comes by and you are doing other things that they might not approve of. Here’s how it works:

• Install The Boss App on your Android device.
• Install The Boss App PC Controller for Windows from here onto your PC: http://thebossapp.com/download.html.
• Once you have installed both items select the program(s) you want to display when the Boss comes in on your PC.
• Set your Android phone down on a flat surface.

If you have another window or program open that you would not want your boss to see simply move you Android phone and Now The Boss Watch program on your PC will replace whatever you are doing at the moment that your boss would not approve of with your work that you have set it to previously. Once your boss is gone, simply click on the icon on your PC and all of your other windows and programs will re-appear.

The Qponomics Android App by Qponomics, Inc. delivers paperless coupons to your Android phone in real time based on your location. The app uses your Android phone’s GPS capability to search for coupons in a 1 to 50 mile radius of your current location. You can search for coupons by city or zip code which can be useful for an upcoming trip and you can also search for coupons by store.

When the app first loads you will be asked a few questions in order to register. After the registration process you will get to the main screen which includes the ability to adjust the mile radius range to search for coupons. From the main screen you can also browse your coupon results by category, by brand and once you add a coupon to your favorites you can view your favorites from here as well.

Overall, the app is easy to use but it is lacking coupon content. Once there are more coupons this will be a great app. At the time of this review the  Qponomics Android App is free and needs some work.

The Skyfire Browser Android App by Skyfire offers a bunch of great features for you to use while browsing the web on your Android phone. You can play flash videos, choose between 2 views to browse the web (mobile or desktop) and share with your friends. The app also gives you a great, innovative toolbar with a easy to use user interface.

When you first load the browser there is a intro/tutorial that shows you how to use the browser and highlights the features that it offers. Once you finish that you will see the main home screen which has quite a few different websites bookmarked for you. If you want the tool bar to appear so you can use it from the main hoime screen simply press the Menu button on your phone.

Overall, this is a great browser with lots of great features to use to enhance your web browsing experience on your Android phone. At the time of this review the Skyfire Browser 2.0 Android App is free. Thumbs Up.

The FolderOrganizer Android App by Fabio Collini gives you the ability to organize your apps, bookmarks and contacts into folders. The app is very easy to use, simply load the app and all of your apps, bookmarks and contacts will populate. Once that process is complete you can create labels and shortcuts to add to your Home Screen to organize each app, bookmark and contact into folders and shortcuts. Once you have created shortcuts you can organize these too.

Another cool feature for this app is the ability to change the folder’s icons. You can also change icon and rename apps and add items into the Android notification toolbar. The app is very well designed and very easy to set up, navigate and it makes finding your apps, bookmarks and contacts very simple.

Overall, this is a great app for organizing your Android phone’s apps, bookmarks and contacts. At the time of this review the FolderOrganizer Android App is €0.99. Thumbs Up.

What was your inspiration for developing this app?

I remember that being a kid I used to draw different figures using continuous lines. Even at the University during some lectures I would find myself drawing something on the margins of my notebook. Once I caught myself drawing a house and suddenly an idea of creating this type of video game occurred to me. Well I thought why not? So I tried and it worked.

You know right now I can’t really single out one particular application because every problem requires its own application. For example in order to read .doc files (files written in the .doc format) I prefer to use Quick Office.

In the nearest future I am planning on writing one more logical game perhaps using physics.

The Get Pills Android App by Rafał Rzepecki allows you to set a reminder to take your pills. I have to be honest, was pretty disappointed when I tried this app out because it only lets you set reminders for 1 day at a time. There is not option to set a reminder to take your pills on a daily basis by simply selecting an option to do so. Instead you will need to set individual reminders for each day which is not really a convenient feature. On the positive side, if you need to take a pill on a specific day several times a day then this app does the job. Another good feature is that the app gives you the ability to label each reminder so you can label them by medication name.

Overall, if the app had more options it would be great. However, as it is now I cannot recommend downloading it for anything other than if you need a daily reminder for a short period of time and do not mind having to enter each day and time in manually. At the time of this review the Get Pills Android App is free and needs some work.
