The hardware announced today offers no design overhaul. Apple upgraded the phone's camera from a 5-megapixel sensor to an 8-megapixel sensor, though, and the iPhone 4S will use the same dual-core A5 chip that the iPad 2 does. 4G capability? Hi, I'm 15 years old and I have a few questions T-Mobile Data Plans.

My family and I (my mom, dad, sister, and I) are on a two year family plan with T-Mobile. I think we have unlimited calling and unlimited messaging. My mom, my sister, and I all are eligible for an upgrade. I'm interested in getting the Samsung Vibrant.

One of the workers at the store said that this phone needs a data plan, and it costs $30.oo per person, per month. Is this absolutely necessary? Do I have to get the data plan, or can I just use the WiFi at my house and other public places with WiFi to access the internet features on the phone, such as the Android Market?

If there is no way around the data plan and I absolutely need to buy it, can just me, and maybe my sister, pay $30.oo a month for it? But since we are on a family plan, does everyone on our plan need to pay for it? My dad has the Samsung Gravity 2, and a data plan would be useless to him. It isn't an Android phone, and it would be pretty difficult to access the internet on it. It would be a waste of $30.oo if he needed to pay the fee.

I have the $35 a month Virgin Mobile cell phone plan, with the Samsung Intercept Android phone. The plan was originally $25 a month, and that's what I'm paying, but anyone who subscribes for new service has to pay $35 a month. I get 300 minutes of talk, unlimited text, and unlimited internet use. If I go over 300 minutes, additional minutes are 10 cents each. In the video I compare the Samsung Intercept to the iPhone. The phone came with Android 2.1 installed. The Samsung Intercept phone works OK for phoning and texting, but sometimes the contacts function crashes when I am trying to enter a new number. The screen resolution is lower than other phones, so it is hard to read small print, which makes web browsing somewhat frustrating. Apps take a long time to open. The touch screen sensitivity is pretty bad, and I have trouble getting things done because either I tap the thing I didn't mean to tap, or it doesn't sense the tap. Switching between menus is slow. Virgin has another Android phone available on the $25 monthly plan. I don't know if it is better. After upgrading to Android 2.2 it works a lot better. I made a different video after the upgrade.
