My First Hundred

My first! I finished my first 100 mile race on Sunday at 12:52pm at the Santa Monica Pier. The race started at 8:30am on Saturday and with the help of my amazing crew (Rey, Gabby, Lisa and Diana) I finished in 28 hours and 22 minutes. The official distance was 101.6 miles and I ended up doing over 103 miles (due to getting lost in Long Beach). Out of 40 starters, I came in 14th place

As we drove to the race on Labor Day (09.05.11), I noticed a lot of clouds and then saw lightning as we drove over the Grapevine. Since Mt.
