June is traditionally the month for weddings, but here at Lakeland Winery, it’s the month for our Diamond wine made exclusively with New York State Diamond grapes. The Diamond is a light, semi-sweet wine, perfect for an early Summer celebration, or you know, just to sip while sitting outside on a warm night.

May’s Wine of the Month: Fresh Blueberry

It finally feels like Spring and what better way to celebrate than with sweet, fresh blueberries?

The May Wine of the Month is our Fresh Blueberry wine, made with blueberries picked locally in CNY. It’s an off dry, semi-sweet wine absolutely perfect for brunches instead of the usual mimosa, or as an after dinner sweet to cleanse the palette.

This wine is delicious mixed with lemonade too.

Events at Lakeland Winery

We have some new, fun, wine-filled events at Lakeland Winery.

Every Wednesday is Winesday Trivia Night. Create a team, drink wine, and enjoy free pizza while showing off your trivia knowledge. The fun starts at 6 p.m., Wednesday nights.

Get creative with wine at our Cork, Craft & Sip parties. Make art with wine corks or paint wine glasses with friends — and sample our wines. The next craft event is May 9 at 6:30 p.m. The cost is $25 to attend and includes crafting supplies, light snacks and 25 samples of wine. Contact Sarah@lakelandwinery.com to RSVP.

April’s Wine of the Month: Australian Chardonnay

I might have a sweet tooth, but when it comes to wine preferences, I’m a dry aficionado all the way. I like my wines less sweet and arid like the desert. This is why I’m so excited for our February special.

Diamond in the Rough for Sled for Red

Lakeland Winery is donating $2 for every purchase of our Diamond in the Rough wine to the Sled for Red derby on Feb. 9 in Fayetteville, New York.

Teams of five craft their own sleds made only of cardboard, tape and paint to compete and raise money for AIDS Community Resources.

Diamond in the Rough is a delicious mix of Diamond and Pinor Noir grapes.
