Miracles exist in part as God’s gifts and in part as God’s clues. Gifts and clues that there is something beyond this world we see.

Angels exist as eternal servants to God and Christ (Psalm 103:20). These holy angels surround the throne of God and are involved at God’s bidding in the affairs of men.

“We believe that angels exist as the ministering agents of God, while Satan and his demons exist to hinder and corrupt the work of God on this earth.” (Hebrews. 1:13, 14; 2 Corinthians. 4:3, 4.)

All changes are miracles to contemplate and there are miracles taking place every second. For the truly faithful, no miracle is really necessary, and people who doubt, no miracle is sufficient.

Long before Christianity there were miracles and angels. Do not only believe in miracles, and out of life’s difficulties grow miracles; depend on miracles and believe in angels.

An angel in Heaven is nobody in particular, and if we were all like angels, the world would be a heavenly place. There are hundreds of millions of spiritual creatures walking this earth, unseen, both when we wake and when we are asleep. When little babies are looking beyond you and giggling; are they seeing angels?

Angels are God’s messengers and God’s agents to assist the Saints on earth in the Hebrew Bible, the New Testament and the Holy Qur’an. Rest assured that our Angels are guiding us every minute of the way; they provide us with divine guidance and healing when needed. Angels are near us and are proof of that afterlife; the spirit world that we exist within.

Angels are all around us, all the time, in the very air we breathe. Pay close attention to our dreams; God’s angels often speak directly to our hearts when we are asleep. The soul at its highest is found like God, but an angel gives a closer idea of God. That is all an angel is; an idea of God.

The Gospel of Luke tells us that on the night Jesus came to earth, an Angel appeared to the shepherds who were watching over their flocks in the countryside and said to them: “Do not be afraid. Listen, I bring you the news of great joy, a joy to be shared by the whole people. Today in the town of David a saviour has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord. And here is a sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped in swaddling clothes and lying in a manger” (Luke, 2:10-13; Jerusalem Bible).

Believing in Angels is a given to people who have lived a very spiritual life and they have experienced many wonderful signs from their guardian angels as they call them.

Angels are descending to us from above, with echoes of mercy, and whispers of love. We are each of us angels with only one wing which we can call our own; we can only fly by embracing each other and that is why we cannot live life successfully alone. All God’s angels come to us disguised. Find wisdom and the belief in angels will make us wise.

Angels are generally most closely associated with Christianity, despite their origins in much earlier belief systems and cultures. Nevertheless, the angel has been important to the Christian faith since its conception, and there are almost 300 references to angels in the Bible in some 280 different verses, making it very much a feature of the religion.

While the exact nature and status of the angel in Christianity is far from settled, it is appreciated as a critical part of the Bible and the Christian faith. Likewise, angels are present in most other religions and play a part in somewhat more diverse faiths and individual beliefs.

Angels in The Bible

The concept of guardian angels, or angels sent down from heaven to look over the individual and prevent harm, is one that can be found throughout the Bible, particularly in the Old Testament –

“See that you do not look down on one of these little ones. For I tell you that their angels in heaven always see the face of my father in heaven” (Matthew 18:10).

There are no specifics in the Bible about the hierarchy of angels or how they would function at a practical level. Indeed, there is an assumption (but no real definition) that they would act with a particular individual, and would be assigned the ‘mission’ of protecting that person from sin and deviance.

Angels in Theology

Angels, and in particular guardian angels, were expounded heavily by fifth century theologian Pseudo-Dionysius the Areopagite, and have developed significantly since then. Naturally the extent of their existence and their purpose has been fiercely argued and debated among academics, with some schools suggesting guardian angels are a reflection of the self, with others proposing more radical, behavior-based links to the spirits.

Angels in Other Religions

Angels are not a purely Christian phenomenon. Almost all other world religions have angels in some form as part of their belief systems, from Islam to Judaism to Hinduism to Bahai. Often the depiction of the angel is one of a messenger or savior sent from God to interact with mankind, and this concept is almost uniformly applied throughout the religions despite other differences in the position played by the angel within those belief systems.

Angels in Society

Whether or not angels are an important feature of religion and faith, they are certainly important to the growing number of individuals worldwide who claim to have experienced their input and guidance. Among those reporting encounters with angels are an eclectic mix of cultures and beliefs, including those previously skeptical about the existence of angels and spirituality generally.

Our angels communicate with us in so many ways!

Have you ever seen a glint of light in the corner of your eye? Felt a sudden sense of love and peace during a moment of sadness? Found a feather in an unlikely location?  Felt an overwhelming sense of love when you least expected it (but neede it most?)

Our angels reach out to us in many different ways. Their purpose is to guide us through life by offering their love, guidance and comfort when we need it most.

It’s when we’re living through our most difficult moments that the angels draw ever closer to us to surround us with their divine presence, gently and lovingly diffusing the fear and negativity around us.

Because we’re so overwhelmed with the responsibilities of our physical lives, most people are unaware of the messages of the angels.

Take a quiet moment each day to ask your angels to communicate with you in some way. You’ll be surprised at the response you’ll get. They’re listening to you and are eager to respond to your request.

Pennies and feathers seem to be a favorite of the angels. They love to leave little items around for us to find. It’s their way of saying “we’re here for you.”

You may feel a light touch on your cheek, or hear the rustle of feathers, or perhaps feel a slight breeze out of nowhere.  Most people see a light out of the corner of their eye.

Your angels are just as excited to communicate with you as you are with them, and there’s a very simple technique that you can use to communicate.

Automatic writing has been around for centuries. People have used it to speak with their guides, angels and loved ones in spirit.

It doesn’t require you to do anything unusual. Simply sitting in a comfortable position with a pen and paper is all you need. If you’re like me and want to bring through messages quicker, you can use a computer keyboard.

Now, there are two types of writing when communicating with your angels. There is “automatic writing” and “automatic dictation”.

When you’re automatic writing, you’re not aware of what’s being written. You feel a sort of floating sensation, as thought you’re floating above your keyboard.

With automatic dictation, you’re fully aware of every word you’re writing and the information comes to you either in your mind’s eye (clairvoyance), by hearing it (clairaudience) or by knowing it (claircognizance).

The whole process of automatic writing is really very simple….don’t complicate it by allowing your mind to analyze whether or not it’s you or your angels.

Most people think the process is going to be hard and that they’re not “qualified” to communicate with their angels in this way. Humbug!

I assure you, you’re very qualified to communicate with your angels!

Before you begin, it’s a great idea to have a journal that you can keep solely for your communications with your angels. As your conversations with them progress, you’ll be able to refer back to your increasing progress and read all the messages you received.

You don’t need to make this a ritual with candles, incense or other types of paraphernalia. You can certainly use them if you like, but they’re not required. All you need is your willingness to let your angels “in” no matter where you are.

Here we go:

Find a comfy spot to sit and relax. It can be on the floor or in your favorite chair, or sitting up in bed.

Take several deep refreshing breaths and allow your body to relax.

Say a short prayer to elevate your energy and call in your angels such as:

“Dear God:

Please help me to hear your messages clearly through your loving angels.
Allow me to be healed in my areas of greatest need and to learn more about your truth, love and joy.”

As you begin, asking a question will help your angels communicate with you. They can’t answer you unless you ask!

“Dear Angels, what would you like to teach me today?”

“Dear Angels, can you please tell me about my strengths?”

Remember to relax and breathe. Open yourself up to your angels‘ energy so you’ll be in an active, receptive place.

Begin writing anything and everything that comes to mind. You may hear a single word or a sentence. You may see an image or picture in your mind. You may get a sense of knowing.

It doesn’t matter how it comes to you, simple write it all down. Don’t allow your mind to start analyzing what’s being written.

Don’t analyze, organize or judge, just write!

Ask your angels their names. You may hear, see or know the answer. Write down the very first thing you get. Ask them whatever question you would like the answer to.

Note:

As you write, are you aware of what’s being written? Do you feel a floating sensation as you write?

You’ll receive your message easily but don’t stop to question it or talk yourself out of an accurate angel communication. Our minds want nothing more than to be in control of every situation, including automatic writing.

Don’t allow doubt to take away from your session. Simply acknowledge any feelings that arise, then push them aside.

When communicating with your angels, you messages will be positive, helpful and loving. Angels give with love and truth. If you receive a message that is not joyful and loving, you may have picked up on an energy that is not angelic. Simply ask your angels to remove that energy and show it to the light, then call in your angels for communication.

What you receive is what the angels want to tell you.

It may be simple or complicated, but trust what is given to you. Automatic writing and automatic dictation are not a science. They’re both simple processes that opens you up to receive communication from your angels.

It’s important not to ask your angels about other people as the angels don’t engage in psychic gossip. You are their primary concern.

Once the messages slow down and you’re not receiving anything more, thank your angels for their time.

Remember to journal your communications and as you progress with your automatic writing, your communication with your angels will strengthen and your messages will become longer and more detailed.

They respond to our call before we even finish asking. They inspire us when answers seem out of reach, they encourage us when we can’t take the next step and they love us even when we don’t love ourselves.

Most people live their lives totally unaware that they have a wonderful spiritual support system at their disposal at a moment’s notice.

Each person has at least two angels, without exception.

They are by our side from the moment we are born until we go home.

Because we have free will, our angels can’t help us unless we ask for them. We can’t assume that our angels will come to our aid on a moment’s notice without calling for them. If they did, they’d violate our free will.

It’s important to remember to ask your angels for help in every area of your life.

The more you call on your angels, the stronger your connection with them will become. You can ask them to leave signs that they’re around. You’ll find objects such as pennies, feathers or even a flower. Pennies seem to be a big hit with the spiritual world.

If you do find pennies, be sure to take a look at the date, which may be a birthday or anniversary.

You can call as many angels as you’d like to come to you, there is no limit. Simply say “Angels, come to me now” and they’ll be by your side before you finish asking.

Take a quiet moment to yourself, close your eyes and take a few deep breaths. Then call your angels to your side. You may feel a light breeze, hear a rustle of feathers or perhaps feel a light brush on your cheek.

Always remember to ask your angels for help – that’s why they’re there!

Gone are the days when traditional journaling was expressive but not creative. There seems to be nowadays a renewed interest in writing about our experiences and expressing our selves as a means of releasing and sharing our spiritulalness with others. It is a means of a focus for spiritual growth and change.

Heaven is now placed on earth and  a whole rebranded concept of journals is here. What is it?

It is something straight forward, for the angels teach us that nothing needs to be stressful in your new life, but for one to proceed to the future. You have to release and deal with the past.  It is a perfect compliment to the need to let go of your worries, anxieties, fears,stress and the like, with the whole new concept of writing down your new spiritual experiences.

You can also begin to document your whole new inner spiritual journey, by using expression and creativity, to provide an everlasting element to the realm of journaling.  

There are two areas of journalling that will captivate your attention too.

1. The writing of your angelic discoveries and interactions with the angel realm.
2. Writing your experiences about your own spiritual awakening.
3. Releasing your fears,worries and creating your dreams.

Either way journalling is a nice approach to creating the perfect personal keepsake for years to come.

You can be creative and fun as much as you want.

• Draw pictures taken from your dreams or mental images that you recieve from your angels.
• Cut out photos or take photo’s that relate to your own spiritual journey.
• Write lists of dreams you wish to come true
• Write lists of goals that you have accomplished in a year and don’t forget the little important ones.
• You could even ask to interview your favorite angel
• Write poems, write gratitude letters, write letters of  appreciation to your friends,family, guardian angels and our creator.
• Messages that you may have channelled, intuitive feelings, repeated signs and impressions.
• Draw how you feel as a meaning of expressive art.
• Releases past hurt just by describing how you felt and how you feel towards the person or situation at that time
• An act of forgiveness, on a daily or weekly time slot list the people including your self who you can forgive.
• A list of people you want to send an intention of healing, light, comfort, love to each week.

The list is endless, use your imagination and begin to create and be colourful in what you make. It is all acceptable and never daft, dumb or stupid. We often think that spirituality is boring because of our religious up bringing and so forth, but that is man made. If we are made in our creators image, does that not state in one self, that we are co-creators and there for anything we put our hands too, will be made fantastic?

Any thing is possible on your renewed spiritual path, you have to believe you deserve it and secondly believe that it will happen now, rather than later. Your angel diary is a means of reflection and growth. It is a personal creative journal as you passage through life.

It’s all up to you, it’s the begining of a new life. Once you start scrapbooking, or being creative, you can look forward to letting go of the old and bringing of the new.  Ask yourself, what do I want to change? Do I want to change and how do I change.

What can you do with your journals?

Publish it, if that is something of a creative idea for yourself also by means of a blog. This enables others to benefit from your experiences as they say every little helps.

Pass it onto a family member or friend who could benefit from your accounts.

Pass it to your children as a keepsake or a personal modern family heirloom.

Use it as a tool of reflection and see how much experience and knowledge you have gained over the years.

Either way it’s also a good releasing technique and an asset to any individual walking a spiritual light path of life.

You can buy a journal or a notebook of your choice and decide if you want something that is just to jot down signs from heaven or you really want to get your teeth into a deep journal where you can write for your hearts content.

Angel diaries are written to recollect your memories,experiences, interactions, signs and messages from your angels. These are likely to become very personal and private or you may want to share with them to others.

Consider releasing any thing that causes you anxiousness,worry or fear. This could be a person,situation or memory? Write it down and affirm at the end of the diary, that you hearby release the fear, anxiousness or worry and will look forward towards a renewed life of happiness and love. I will not be afraid of this situation, person or memory no longer.

Write down in your journal anything from your past, that no longer serves you and make a conscious decision to release it. Believe that once you have finished writing the situation or feelings down and made that positive affirmation that it has been released and that healing will now take place.
Writing the diary does not have to be in formal traditional or boring.

Look around you and you will see them. Close your eyes and you will feel them. I’m talking about angels. They come in many forms, many colors, and many sizes, including male, female, and animal forms.

They have different roles and serve different purposes. There are healing angels, messenger angels, protective angels, warrior angels, guide angels, teaching angels, and angels that inhabit certain places.

Angels are super compassionate beings that vibrate at a very high frequency, so consequently they are flooded with brilliant light in their natural form. There are hundreds and thousands of them with us. They need human prayers, either spoken out loud or in thought to move them to action.

There is a symbiotic relationship between humans and the angelic beings. They cannot interfere unless they are asked through prayer or meditation. That’s why anyone could be directed in a moment to pray for a total stranger, so that the angels may act even half way across the world.

Angels also can be directed or commanded into action long before an accident or a tragedy has occurred, because you have already called them and released them into action by your words or your thoughts on a continuous basis long before anything has happened.

If you are moved to pray for someone or some place and you don’t know why, just stop and pray. Direct angels to work on the behalf of the person or place that you are praying for.

If you don’t know the cause of your urgency to pray release and call all angels that may be appropriate. Call the healing angels, guide angels, warrior angels and protective angels.

Speak to them directly and tell them that you want them to go immediately to the person or place that you are feeling or seeing at the time. “Angels protect her/him, help her/him right now. Do everything that you need to do to help her/him.”

Or you could say, “I wrap this place in light right now. Warrior angels stand guard right now.” You can be very specific with them, or you can be more vague. But as clearly as you can direct them, it will ensure that the mission will get done very accurately and swiftly.

The very precise angel for the job will be assigned. If you don’t know what to say, just say “Angels I command you to help her/him in every way that is needed right now.”

If there is healing to be done, that job is usually done by two or three angels. It is very rare that only one angel is required on a healing mission.

Each one of us has a guardian angel that is always with us. When we gather in a group of people, thousands of guardian angels gather with us, at least one guardian per person. But there may be two or three assigned to one person at any given time.

When we sing and worship, thousands of angels come to sing and hear the sounds and join in to celebrate. The Angels release a lot of joy and ecstasy in times of celebrations and prayer. One of their natural components is joy. They radiate joy and happiness.

When you direct them, you cannot direct them to manipulate, to hurt anyone, or destroy anything. They work on higher level of love and compassion and they will work with the best intention for everyone. They respect the free will of each person.

For example, you cannot direct them to make someone love you or to be with you. You may pray or meditate that the best solution be done for all that are involved. Then the angels will act in the highest manner for each person.

You may also pray that she/he be helped to see their ignorance of a situation. I’m sure you have had an encounter with an angel or two, maybe you didn’t even know it. But they are here!! Some mystics say that humans can be angels to each other.

Others believe that heavenly angels intervene in our lives much more often than we realize.

“What color is an angel?”

I looked up from the book I was reading to see my 7-year-old granddaughter with a large box of crayons spread out on the floor above a coloring book.

“Is it a boy angel or a girl angel?” I asked. “A boy,” she responded. “Then use a light blue crayon,” I concluded and went back to my book.

However, since then I’ve been thinking about how a simple question by a yet unpolluted child can’t always be answered so simply. How many colors do angels have? How many kinds of angels can you name?

My thoughts returned to my own experience. I’d been visited for some time by a unique, specialized angel. “Mark Angeli!” he called himself. Mark seemed to appear in my life as I was facing a problem or needed to move to the next level in my business.

Service businesses like mine, Vibrant Carpet Cleaners, can be one-man shows or can expand by adding more vans and technicians. Every change brings its challenges.

To this day, I don’t know why but whenever I got in a pickle, my angelic messenger would show up and give me timely instruction. Mark always wore a clean sharp blue business suit. If I were coloring him, it would be dark blue.

The kinds of angels that appear in a cloud and speak with a voice of thunder get colored bright white.

Since we rarely see a guardian angel, I guess they shall remain colorless. Think of the things they do for us. Invisible hands extracted a man from a mashed car that rolled off the highway.

Drowning people tell us that someone pulled them from the lake, saw to their comfort and then disappeared. A little girl playing, in the front yard, pedals her tricycle into the driveway and is picked up tricycle and all — out of the path of dad’s backing car. Sometimes a guardian angel will simply whisper in your ear about what you should say or do in difficult or challenging situations.

Then there are angels in disguise and/or are actually human. Their colors are warm because they bring comfort and protect.

Red is reserved for the angels that should be lost and forgotten. These are the Devil’s angels. They promote evil in actions and in word. If “conflict” is their middle name, then destruction is their last name. They inspire men to do evil and find glory in the results.

“And our spirits must have become like unto him, and we become devils, angels to a devil, to be shut out from the presence of our God, and to remain with the father of lies, in misery, like unto himself; yea, to that being who beguiled our first parents, who transformeth himself nigh unto an angel of light, and stirreth up the children of men unto secret combinations of murder and all manner of secret works of darkness.” 2 Nephi 9:9

One color we won’t find in any crayon box is action. When an angel shows up some kind of action needs to follow.

An angel told one man to move his trailer in the night. His wife and kids were sleeping in it. He moved it. In the morning, he saw that a huge tree had fallen right on the spot from where the trailer had once been.

An angel saved my own brother. My brother Mikie, used to take naps, while the rest of us played in the park in Ojai, CA, in the back of a Volkswagon station wagon. We always parked in the same spot. Upon responding to a “prompting” mother removed him from the car.

A short time later, we heard a large, crashing sound. When we went to see what caused it, we discovered that our car flattened its entire length to wheel height by an ancient oak tree. Mom moved Mikie to preserve his life. Today he’s a registered nurse. Wouldn’t you guess? he’s an angel of sorts, himself.

“Yea, and I know that good and evil have come before all men; he that knoweth not good from evil is blameless; but he that knoweth good and evil, to him it is given according to his desires, whether he desireth good or evil, life or death, joy or remorse of conscience. Now, seeing that I know these things, why should I desire more than to perform the work to which I have been called?

“Why should I desire that I were an angel that I could speak unto all the ends of the earth? For behold, the Lord doth grant unto all nations, of their own nation and tongue, to teach his word, yea, in wisdom, all that he seeth fit that they should have; therefore we see that the Lord doth counsel in wisdom, according to that which is just and true.” Alma 29:5-8

Angels are all around us. The eye of the soul can be open to see spiritual things, as virtues and angels. Our only requirement is to believe and we can see them; they often exist as mortal living breathing people, or as those who have had mortal experience and passed on, or as heavenly beings who have not yet tasted mortality.

There is no requirement to have angelic ministrations. We need not fear them. A chat with an angel is a good thing!

It is wonderfully inspiring to see the angel art of many cultures. In this painting by James Tissot, a magnificent angel guards the worshippers as they pray in a beautiful mosque.

However, despite its loving depiction of Muslims praying in a mosque, this painting would not have been done by a devout Muslim. Islam forbids creating images of humans or of spiritual beings.
