Just.. wow! You pretty much have to stop there, since there are no words to describe this awesome looking Ferrari. Sure, the ITalian car manufacturer has been rolling out the factory gates some pretty insane rides lately, and they have for some 40 years now, but this oarticular Ferrari F from Ugur Sahin Design, is just off the hook, and it is based on a 458 Italia.

Well, to be frank about it, this Ferrari seems a mash-up between Pagani, Ferrari and Koenigsegg, but the resulting hyper-car is looking damn good. Sure, this stunning car isn’t really production worthy at this time, but that’s beside the point. I’m just here to bow in appreciation and declare that I’d surely love to see this showcased at an auto motor show as soon as possible. That’s not to big of a dream, is it?

Infamous Second Son: Characters

This vitality extends to the game’s protagonist. Instead of players controlling a tortured soul with a gravely voice - as they did in the last two instalments – Second Son stars a mouthy, yet charismatic ne’er-do-well who dabbles in street art, named Delsin Rowe. Imagine Banksy crossed with Spiderman and you’re starting to get the picture.

While the game gives Rowe a crisis to face early on in the form of some jackbooted Homeland Security types, what makes him appealing as a protagonist is his unbridled joy in suddenly being able to wield the powers of demigod. Unlike his predecessor Cole McGrath, Rowe takes to being a superhero (or villain) with unchained glee. It makes him more believable and since he’s also played brilliantly by Troy Baker (BioShock Infinite, The Last Of Us) he’s a lot of fun to hang out with.

The supporting cast is equally strong with top marks going to Travis Willingham as Reggie, Delsin’s long-suffering brother and Laura Bailey, who plays Fetch, a super-powered runaway. Their banter with Delsin is filled with as many one-liners as it is moments of resonance and players come to care deeply about them as characters.

Infamous Second Son: Story

Second Son’s over-arching story involves Delsin heading to Seattle to find the steel-eyed DUP psycho, named Augustine, who is locking up superpower individuals – known as Conduits. Augustine tortured a lot of people in Delsin’s hometown for information about Conduit whereabouts and left a great number of them crippled. In order to fix this damage, Delsin needs the power Augustine wields – the ability to manipulate concrete.

HTC One M8: Battery

The One M8 features the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 quadcore processor, with clock speed of 2.3GHz. We found navigating around the home screen and menus to be nice and speedy (even though this wasn't a final version) and we didn't see any noticeable lag.

The new handset has a 2600mAh battery on board - a slight boost compared to the original One's 2300mAh battery. Obviously we haven't had time to test the battery out in full just yet, but if the previous model is anything to go by, you should get at least a day's use out of it before having to recharge.

HTC One M8: HTC Dot View case

The flip cover contains magnets that correspond with the phone and turn on the screen so that it shines through tiny holes in cover to create the retro effect. You can simply tap the top cover of the case to check the time without having to open it and fire up the whole screen. You can also view other basic functions like weather and battery status.

The case will be available in a range of colours and we reckon it won’t be long before some bright sparks will come up with some form of 8-bit game to go with it (our money’s on Pong).

HTC has come up with a brand new rubber case - known as the HTC Dot View case - which gives the appearance of an old-school dot matrix display.

Our first impressions of the new HTC One M8 were all good - we like the tweaked design and we were impressed by the new camera features, the improved speakers and we also like the new Dot View case.

The older HTC One will continue to be sold be the timebeing (presumably at a reduced price), though it will eventually be phased out.

92-year-old Japanese woman’s amazing collection of painstakingly-crafted traditional Japanese temari handballs has been unveiled to the public for the first time – and it’s all thanks to her granddaughter, Flickr user NanaAkua.

Apparently, her grandmother learned the technique of this traditional Japanese New Year‘s day gift in the 60s and had not stopped creating new ones ever since. Now, she has nearly 500 differently-patterned spheres in her collection, and it doesn’t look like she’s ready to stop anytime soon.

The art of temari began in China and came to Japan in 7th century. It soon became a tradition for grandparents and parents to stitch the balls using silk scraps from old kimonos and give them to their children for New Year’s day. The technique requires an enormous amount of patience, precision, good eye-sight and pretty dexterous fingers. NanaAkua’s grandmother doesn‘t seem to lack any of those, which is why these handmade treasures strike us with awe.
