Well. Despite my previous entry, the night before I left myself, I see that I had the good sense to threaten my family over a slice of half-melted triple chocolate pie.

I actually keep a small fridge in my room that no one is allowed to access without permission. This is necessary to prevent starvation from living amongst huge mastodons with ravenous appetites. Simply labeling my food wasn’t enough. Buying my own fridge meant business, as they can no longer claim ignorance that something wasn’t fair game.

Damn if that wasn’t some good pie. I’ll stay off the scale for a bit though. Everything good in this world comes at a cost, it seems.

Well, it seems I’m slowly seeping back into myself, like a guilty teenager silently and carefully crawling back into her bedroom window at some ungodly hour, hoping no one noticed her absence.

Ha-ha. If I think I can get away with leaving myself so easily, I have another think coming. My wrath is not pretty.

Yesterday when I awoke, I was here but mentally absent. I had no idea where “I” had gone, why, or when I’d be back. I was in some autopilot shell that performed basic functions.

I wasn’t depressed, nothing major had occurred since going to bed (fully self-aware) the night before. But I was hollow. Felt nothing. Thought nothing. Did nothing.

I really hoped I’d be back today, because it was boring being stuck like that and I had a lot of sh#t to do.

Today I feel a bit more present, but not enough. Where the hell am I and what is my problem, exactly? Hellooooo…am I able to hear me? Get back here because what’s left behind to hold the fort is annoyed and confused.

Yes, the day before was exceptionally bizarre and *again* I was told I should make a movie. But I was feeling fine despite it all (it’s too weird to explain, sorry) and yet I’ve checked out and didn’t leave a note.

I better be back today because I have a lot to do and I don’t want to miss this weekend’s trip to Savannah.

AND!… I’m going to be very pissed at myself when I do get back, for absconding with my mental faculties without warning. Yes, some hell shall be raised.

But all this thought and effort is draining what little of me I have. So for now, I’m going to take yet another nap and wait.

This photography project is unusual and appeals to the same part of me that is fascinated with urban decay and abandoned buildings. The page left me wanting to see more ~ no easy feat when a reader has ADD and the attention span of a gnat.

(Although I have serious reservations that gnats have them. Attention spans, I mean.)

Teenage Dorkdom

Being hearing-impaired (since birth, etc. blah, blah), as a young teen I wasn’t especially up to date on the latest music, as we didn’t have the array of gadgets, etc. for listening to music as we do now.

This latest artistic offense to your eyeballs portrays one of the many times I made a complete ass of myself due my sheer ignorance of pop culture (or, for that matter, ANY sort of culture).

But as you’ve all heard countless times, I’m sure, it’s better to be able to laugh at oneself. The bonus here is I’m inviting you all to join me, because I’m thoughtful that way. Ha-ha.

This is a not-technically-a-post to let y’all know I plan to make a post today. Maybe even two. If I can somehow overcome my crushing apathy, I intend to post at least three or more times per week, but I make no guarantees!

Good thing this blog isn’t here to promote anything or educate people, because it would be a miserable failure. Ha-ha.

It seems I have tons of motivation, I just can’t get it up, so to speak. I have MD (Motivational Dysfunction), but don’t tell Big Pharma, or they’ll start making a pill for that, and I already take enough to regulate the cranial and biological processes of a small country.

So, anyway, I have no idea where all these words came from, but the short version is: I plan to make a post here very soon. Start getting all excited and stuff.
