The prices will depend on how many orders we get but will range from the following:

For a Black or Burgundy Polo Shirt = £16.50 - £18.50/each

For a Black or Burgundy Hoodie = £19.95 - £21.95/each

For a Black or Burgundy Zipped Hoodie = £22.45 - £24.45/each

I may be able to get better prices if we order more quantities!

So...........does anybody want one, in what colour and size please? ;)

We collected the pups which were taken to the vets that couldnt be sold as they were ugly & 2 each went to different foster homes. 2 were in a lot worse condition than the others. The foster career took them to her vets & they had £150.00 pounds worth of vet treatment for the sickness & the mange. If anyone could help us towards the cost this would be fantastic as we didnt expect to pay this out so early on. As it wasnt our normal vet it was full price! If anyone could help donate towards this we would be grateful. If anyone can PM me with how much they can donate towards this & I will pass you the vets number to call direct that would be fantastic. We dont usually ask this early on but we have had an influx of Staffies with skin problems lately & our funds are low.

Thank you very much.

Please come and join us at the London Pet Show in Earls Court this weekend. We'll be there to promote rabbit welfare (of course!) and will also be taking Bunny Bazaar with us, so you'll even be able to buy from what will soon be your favourite bunny (and other small furries) online store, in person.

If you aren't able to join us, then you can still support us if you're doing any online shopping. If you buy from a whole range of highstreet and online stores, please first register with Give As You Live, and use our shopfront http://www.giveasyoulive.com/appeal/rabbitwelfarefund to access the stores you love. Give As You Live is giving us special rates still, and by shopping through the site, it won't cost you a penny more, but retailers will give us an elevated share of their profit...and every penny will go to help our work in rabbit welfare...because rabbits deserve better

The Bazaar Bunnies are having a few teething problems with the new website. In the interim they are currently adding products to the existing Rabbit Welfare shop www.rabbitwelfare.co.uk/catalog so you can take advantage of the wonderful products available. Please be aware that postage is included in the price shown, so it makes things look a touch more expensive, but please be assured that they aren't, and there will be no shocks to be had at the checkout!

You will see many products already loaded but please be patient..it takes time to upload each product individually so more will be arriving all the time. So keep checking back in!

Please visit the Special Offers area...you'll see some great bargains!

This handsome boy is currently in the pound but he has been offered a rescue space and we're just trying to sort out transport for him.

He's going to need a total ear ablation which is a costly and painful procedure but hopefully it will sort out the problem with his poor ear. It looks like he has had multiple untreated ear infections.

We would like to try and help his rescue with the cost of this procedure.

If anyone could donate even a small amount, it would be hugely appreciated.

Donations can be made to tagpet@btinternet.com

Not many rescues would take on a dog that they knew needed such a costly procedure and Picasso is extremely lucky.

This is the Sunday of the Bank Holiday.
Entry to the show is, as always £5.00 per adult, plus a tin of dog or cat food which will be sent out to rescues who apply.
Please have this ready to give to the 'official parking attendant' at the gate!

The entry fee is expected to be paid by everyone including those that are helping on the stalls please.
Each class you enter is £1.00, with everyone who enters winning a prize! No-one goes home empty handed. The money goes in the bucket at the entrance so you can enter as many classes as you like!!

Can you bring some 'bits' for the Barbie?
Please don't forget without these 'bits' that are donated & the generosity of you guys we wouldn't be able to have a Barbie, or raise money for BIGGSD & Mutts if we can all contribute something towards the day, we then don't have to 'buy' anything so saves us more money that can go to the dogs!

*This is the story of Mo & Jo... and a sack of potatoes...

We have been supporting a cat rescue for the last couple of years, the rescue saves...

This is the story of Mo & Jo... and a sack of potatoes...

We have been supporting a cat rescue for the last couple of years, the rescue saves old, abandoned, abused and ill cats in the Surrey/ Kent area. Whilst taking some cat food to them last week, we came across the story of the sack of potatoes... this goes to show what elderly people are doing to save the odd penny... so pin back your lug oles....

After dropping the food off, I said to Jo why have you got this trolley standing here? He then told me that he buys his potatoes normally local, but Morrisons' store, 8 miles away, were offering a large sack of potatoes that normally retails at £4.25 at a bargain price of £2.00 only....

Now Jo has a senior bus pass and was going to make the trip on the bus to Morrisons 8 miles away just to get one sack of potatoes which would save him of course £2.25. I sat looking at him for a minute and told him I was going past Morrisons, would he like a lift, which he gladly accepted. When we reached Morrisons I helped him get a trolley and gave him a fiver. His eyes lit up and he said to me "Blimey, I can now get 2 sacks!"

I stood outside waiting for him to come back, feeling very sad, because here was a guy doing all of this trying to save a few pence - well, he came back with two sacks of spuds - what I did not know was that each bag weighed 12.5kg!!! He was quite prepared to walk to the bus stop with 25 kg of spuds and break his neck getting them onto the bus to get them home....

This is not an appeal to raise funds just to pay Mo & Jo their spuds, because both of these people are in their late sixties/early seventies, at this moment they are looking after 53, yes 53!!!, badly abused and unwanted cats. I have been in their place and cats adorn window sills, corners of rooms, sofas, but they all look happy as Larry. I was shocked to hear yesterday that the RSPCA were contemplating removing 20-30 cats from their premises - they will not let this happen. I have since found out that it is possibly someone at their vets they are using, that has blown the whistle on them, because their vet bill is starting to rise above three figures.

I am sure that a lot of you will agree with the RSPCA, saying they got too many cats - if their place was a s...h..., I would agree, but the cats must think they've died and gone to heaven. These two people are so dedicated to the welfare of these cats that it puts other so-called rescues, to shame...(who mentioned devon)

If anybody can help, you can pm us.... I need your help - by the way, this is Mr. 49% of NEW DAWN, not the Mrs. 51% of NEW DAWN - although she obviously agrees with what I have said above.

If anybody can make a donation, could you please send it by paypal to newdawnwelfare@yahoo.co.uk, or send a cheque/cash through the post.

...oh, by the way, I put the spuds on my van, carried on with what I had to do and dropped the spuds at Mo's & Jo's place a couple of hours later. These two people are very special and committed people to saving our little four-legged friends, this is their life, they do not do anything else... Please can you help?

Hi all its a while since I was last here ,I have been in training 8-).

I am doing a cycle ride in July to try and raise some much needed funds for Sighthounds online, for an emergency kennel fund, etc etc.

This cycle ride is going to take place over 3 weeks and will start in Valence in the south of France on July 1st. I am carrying all my own equipment, tent, cooker, food, spares, clothes, and will be riding a steel push bike.

I will be climbing into the Vercors before heading East to the Alpe d'Huez and from there tackling many of the Alpine climbs made famous by the Tour de France. After conquering the Alps I intend to cross Mount Ventoux and head through the camargue towards Spain and the climbs of the Pyranees before completing the ride in Lourdes.

In total I expect to cover around 1000 miles and gain around about 26,000 meters.

If you would like to sponsor me for this event (please ) I now have a my donate page www.mydonate.bt.com/fundraisers/1000miles

Please note every penny you donate goes straight to SOL and they also get money from HMC in GIFT AID

I have also set up a facebook page http://www.facebook.com/pages/1000mi...03620649764537 where you can follow my training etc.

Please please please share these links with all your facebook friends, twitter buddies and x-post to any forums you think will allow,

Lets try and raise a stupid amount of cash to keep SOL in a position to carry on the fantastic work helping rescues and hounds not only in the UK but in Spain and around Europe as well.

Thanks all :hearts:

Andrew

Ps If anyone would like to join me then you would be most welcome, either on a bike cycling, or carrying my pack in your car lol

Hey guys, a few of us on facebook are trying to organise an awareness campaign in memory of William. More information below, and a link to the information on facebook xx

The Plan to Remember William.

WHY? This is not only being done to show Harrow Council that William had more supporters than they do, but is to show William that he did not die for nothing, it is to take this opportunity to raise awareness for the farce that is Breed Specific Legislation and to use the opportunity to show solidarity in the message that BSL is no better than doggy ethnic cleansing and murder. BSL is wrong on so many levels and William died for no other reason than his suspected breed and looks. He was NOT a dangerous dog, he was a friendly, loving dog abandoned by humans and murdered by ignorance, and this memorial will highlight this.

It has been discussed with people helping to get Williams flower memorial sorted and the plan so far is.

1) We have 3 local ladys who are going to be coordinating getting the memorial set up and they have also been contacting some local florists. We were thinking about getting END BSL done in flowers, like the funeral tributes, but this will completely depend on if we can get a realistic deal on it. If not, Trace Walker, one of the local ladies, is going to receive all the money donated and buy flowers in one go on Thursday to get the memorial in place on Thursday afternoon.

2) Donations can be made via paypal to dogsosuk@gmail.com - WHEN SENDING PAYMENT PLEASE CLICK THE PERSONAL TAB AND MAKE SURE GIFT IS SELECTED OTHERWISE YOUR DONATION WILL BE SUBJECT TO CHARGES AND LESS OF YOUR DONATION WILL GO TO WILLIAMS MEMORIAL.

3) I will post on a new photo in this album all donations I have received, so that anyone who has made a donation can see that I have acknowledged it and I can be completely transparent with donations to avoid any issues. I know people don't have a lot of money so if you can only spare a few pence .... every little will help :)

4) There is another picture in this album where you can leave your messages for William and I will print them all out and post to Trace so she can put them up with the flowers.

5) I am going to be contacting The Metro and local gazette. And will also be contacting DDA Watch to see if we get media interest, if anyone from DDA Watch could be there on Thursday.

6) We will also be printing out and laminating a couple of pictures of William to go on the Memorial.

7) If you know any media / local radio contacts etc please let me know.

The following people are those who are currently directly helping with this.

Trace Walker, Dawn Branigan, Lynne Armstrong, Kathy hudson, Sue Wilkie

PLEASE SHARE and please help Williams death not have been in vain ..... we CAN raise awareness peacefully and colourfully in honour of William x

Could anyone who was involved in trying to save William directly please get in touch x

The story began when I was in intensive care on life support (i have an odd form of epilepsy) and the Consultant suggested to my mother that I had a CD of my favourite music, when I got better control we started fostering for Many Tears but this thought stuck with me and I thought why not put down my favourite songs and try and raise some money for a great cause at the same time?

I have cleared it all with the Performing Rights and the Royalties people and many of the songs that are on the CD are Traditional. We would love to know if there is anyone out there certainly interested so that we can get it in the post to you on St Davids Day, the day of release.

We are asking £10 but that includes postage. We know there are 100's of people out there doing great work to save animals, if anyone can help us with promoting or getting a CD for that long lost Aunt that you never really talk to but have to get a birthday present for........

The studio work is being kindly donated by Paul Hayes (the third member of our band PASTAL) and we are trying to get sponsorship for CD production.

If this is not possible a member of our band is going to fund the 'pressing' of the CD's which means that we will take £1 per CD back to re imburse his costs but ALL profits will go to Many Tears, a MINIMUM of £7.50 per CD. We will put a running order up when it is finalised. " Every little helps" :-)

Beau is a 2 and a half year old Lakeland cross with epilepsy, which was the reason for him being signed over to rescue. As a result of his condition he is a longterm foster dog, and has been with me for a year now.

On Thursday 26th January he landed heavily on his right hind leg, tearing his cruciate ligament and displacing his kneecap poor lad.

Beau is an absolute sweetheart who loves the outdoors, rain, hail, sun or snow and is hating now being on enforced crate rest while arrangements are made for surgery. We desperately need to raise the funds for this, as recent sickly dogs have depleted TLDR's reserves. We have been quoted around £700 for the operation itself, with possible aftercare costs for therapy (hydro or physio), so our aim is to raise around £1000. It's a large sum, and some might say is it worth it for a dog with an existing lifetime condition...but believe me if you met this boy you'd understand why he deserves it.

We are a small group of people who spend a few hours a week walking the dogs, that through no fault of their own are waiting in kennels until their foster/forever home comes along.

We spend a few hours once or twice a week taking them for a walk and breaking the boredom of being in kennels.

We enjoy what we do, but when there are lots of dogs in kennels, we do not always have the time to give them the walks and TLC that they need.

Would anyone like to join us and help out with this, especially over the Christmas period when we won’t be able to make it to the kennels as often?

It is very rewarding and we have great pleasure in knowing that we have contributed a little something towards making these dogs lives happier. Any time you can give will be greatly appreciated.

The kennels are in Coed Ely near Tonyrefail. RCT www.coedelyanimalhotel.co.uk

For more information on the dogs and our walks please join our forum and see the Kennel Antics http://foa-rct.proboards.com/index.c...d=5993&page=25

If anyone is interested in joining our little group, please complete a volunteer form so we can give you a call and arrange a time to meet at the kennels http://friendsoftheanimalsrct.org.uk/volunteer.html

Thank you
