We are an animation website : www.animationthread.com and we are here to have all the animation aspirants and animators under one roof and showcase their skills. We are a students community calling upon all the students and the likes to come and join us here to exchange views, ideas and skills on animation.

What is animation? Well, most of the animators must have asked this question several times to themselves before they could master the skill. Animation, we say, is all about imagination. And as our website suggest, imagination or your free thoughts is the kite that is attached to a thread or a string being controlled by you.

Here we brief you what we are here for in a nutshell. We are not driven by any motive but by sheer love towards animation and the people who worship it. This website aims to prove career guidance to aspiring animators by bringing in experts in the field. It will be all about digital art and its functioning. Technical help is another area that you could look up for here.

So what you waiting for. Get started! Wait up! Before you click the button, here’s a small q/a session that we would like you to take up. It’s all about determining your knowledge towards animation. The test has scores that will tell you how much you know about animation and what is the remaining percentage that you require to become a master in animation field.

Welcome All...

Hi.. This is Pankaj.

I am an animation student.

I am neither a good writer nor do I blog very often. But I have a lot to share. So, the question is where do I start????

The field of animation is separate world of creativity and glamour attracting a lot of high school pass outs to opt it as their career. So, making a career here is not just interesting but a lot tougher than it looks with a huge competition around. I realized this when I was new to this field and was desperately looking for a mentor who could guide me through my career path. But all the help I could find was from GOOGLE and ended up browsing few websites on animation. They gave me a lot of information about animation but not what I wanted to pave my career path in this field. I took a lot of extra effort to study the field, spent months to look for proper job opportunities, took a lot of risk and today with God’s grace I am settled in a decent job with the experience of my past.

But why am I narrating all this?? My basic idea is to share my experiences and help amateur animators on the block to make their life a little easier than what I went through at this stage. I am working on a website titled animationthread.com which will serve the purpose of spreading awareness among all animation lovers, animation aspirants as well as providing career guidance to animation students. But it is not me who is going to do all the talking. The idea is to gather information from the animators, of the animators and for the animators. I need some help from your side to feel free and share your experiences, tips or any sort of information which you think can be helpful for the budding animators. If you are one of those who have nothing to share, then you have come to the right place to get all you need to upgrade yourself.

Hi..
Friends,
Hope you liked our logo. And we know you loved it! Well, thanks to you as you helped us to decide what could define our website just perfectly! Now since we have announced the official logo, we would like to tell you the story behind having the name 'animation thread' and the kite that is inflight with a thread attached to it.
The logo wan't easy for us to decide upon as you know. Though each logo that had as an option that you had to choose from had a story behind it, this one was special to us. It was the initial fight that we had within our hearts on what could stand best for our website and put across to you the reason that we are here for. Something that could speak for this website. And the kite struck our mind.

The free flight of freedom of thoughts is what this kite represents. Besides, the blue background is the sky where the thoughts have no boundaries, no limitations and the imagination everytime soar to newer heights. And while your thoughts see no end to imagination, it's the thread that keep you connected to the real world.

The thread is the channel between you and your goals. And we at animationthread.com believe that this channel is us and we, that is, you and us together, can give that flight to your goals and aspirations.

Guys, this isn't just a website. This is a package of fun and effective learning that we believe would prove to be contagious. This is not a place for just animators, but animation aspirants and one and all who would love to 'cartoon' their thoughts and bring them to life.

So here's a call to all you guys to get started with your ideas. If you have any opinions or questions and you would want to share any information, feel free to write your stuff.
