Alright, here's the series that I'm currently not watching............it's My Date with a Vampire 3...it's a hugely popular series whose main character in the show has wooed millions of asian girls with his charm and because of it, he's not in trial for sexual harrassment.....

Bleach...the next big thing?

These SJ (shounen jump) titles are really making a scene in the fansubbing community. Remember how most SJ titles got popular...PoT, DBZ, One Piece, Hikaru no go, and now of course, Naruto.

But Bleach...it's already gaining popularity basing on the pure number of downloads. Almost approaching Naruto levels in fact.........more people watch equals more opportunities for someone to profit from it (not the fansubbers of course) but there's gotta be a way

Beck is the best!!!

This season's best anime has to be Beck. Now reckon I haven't been watching much of late (just naruto, one piece) but damn Beck is addictive. It reminds me of the energy of singing in Gravitation (without the yuri) and the spirit of singing in Full Moon o Sagashite (Furu moon o sagashite)...

Is that Sasuke in Bleach?

Ok, but has anyone else noticed the eerie resemblance of Ishida (captain of the arts and crafts club) to Sasuke. Not their looks of course but their voice actors. Although it would sort of make sense since Sasuke is taking a break inside the barrel right now in Naruto so it's no surprise he went and got himself another job :)

In other news....why the hell is AE taking so long to subbing Beck. I'm dying here. I've even resorted to taking the raws to satisfy those urges....err...hurry up damn you. Beck is too complicated based on my current language skills (at least I can understand their English though :) )

Paying for downloads

Now I ask you this.

Due to the enormous fan following behind the anime series: Naruto, there have been various sites popping up that ask you to "support" them to download. Of course, most of them also offer a free download section that hosts the most "important" files while the archived files are for "member plus". Is this moral?

Isn't the original concept of fansubs to provide an alternative to dvd licensed (before they can be purchased) so that it gets recognition in N.A?

Of course, it causes a lot of money to offer so many downloads at these blistering speeds but is charging money still the answer? It's a brilliant concept of course but is it really congruent with the traditional ideas of fansubbing?

What if we lost the ability to draw?

Consider this. If all of humanity loses the ability to draw, then our artistic world will suffer greatly. Surely if we didn't even invent the concept of drawing and thus not realize it, we wouldn't feel any pain. Wait. Backtrack a bit here. If we never had the ability to draw, we wouldn't have reached this age of high tech civilization that we have today because diagrams are the essential building blocks to our development of any kind.

Now consider if suddenly, all the Japanese artists lost their ability to draw. The entire Japanese nation will be in serious trouble because Japan, like any nation, is especially skilled at using attractive images to do everything. Everything includes: sales and marketing, design, tv, production, etc etc...

Get my drift here? So take out your pens and start drawing folks! Time to uncover the artistic side of you!

Whoa ... Neji kakoii

After watching the one hour (2 episode) of Naruto 116-117, Neji was so awesome. But they're making it seem like he's dying ...eerr what's with that? First Chouji, now Neji, so they're planning to kill everyone out there but leave Naruto and Sasuke ? Hmm....don't die...I need to see more of that "hakken roku juu yon shou" attack

Shikamaru's a little disappointing of late

Damn, why the hell they make Shikamaru so cool at the beginning and now, he's making these lame plans to get the web guy. I mean come on here, he was figured out after only a few conversations...what kind of genius is that?
