Piano No Mori the Piano in the Forest

I just read this one. Piano no Mori or its other name The Perfect World of Kai? Piano no Mori is an irregular ongoing manga by Makoto Isshiki who won a Grand Prize for this manga at the 2008 Japan Media Arts Festival. And if you want to know, Makoto Isshiki was first inspired to write Piano no Mori when he watched a documentary showing Stanislav Bunin winning the International Frederick Chopin Piano Competition in 1985.

The series was even adapted to a animated feature film by director Masayuki Kojima and featured performances by the renowned pianist Vladimir Ashkenazy. The movie adaptation debuted in 9th place at the Japanese box office the week it came out, which is unusually high for a non-franchise animated film. By the end of the year, it had grossed the equivalent of $1,555,297, with ranking 119 on the overall yearly box office chart for Japan. The film was nominated for the 2008 Japan Academy Prize for Animation of the Year. It was also nominated in the Theatrical Film category at the 2008 Annecy International Animated Film Festival. The film made its Canadian / North American premiere at the 2008 Waterloo Festival for Animated Cinema.

So the story is about this two friend. Kai, born as the son of a prostitute, who's been playing the abandoned piano in the forest near his home ever since he was young. And Syuhei, son of a family of prestigious pianists. Yet it is their common bond with the piano that eventually intertwines their paths in life.(quote from OneManga.com).

Crows Zero II

Based on manga Crows by Hiroshi Takahashi, Crows Zero II was directed by Takashi Miike, written by Shogo Muto and stars Oguri Shun and Yamada Takayuki. The Suzuran High School for Boys, nicknamed "The School of Crows", is the poorest achieving and the most violent school in the country. The students are called "crows" and they band together in factions, battling each other for influence and power. But they all share a common goal- one that has never been reached in the history - conquer the Suzuran.

The story begin several month after the first Crows Zero took place, where a main character Takiya Genji (Oguri Shun), a newcomer enter a Suzuran All-Boys High School in order to 'conquer' Suzuran so he can succeed his father Hideo Takitani (Kishitani Goro), head of a yakuza syndicate. To conquer the top, he must first beat Serizawa Tamao (Yamada Takayuki), the "King of Beasts" which said to be the closest on conquering Suzuran. And lastly come to Rindaman(Motoki Fukami), the most fearsome guys on Suzuran that rank in other level. The only loner and independent guy that get a special treatment even in the most delinquent school such as Suzuran High.

Several months later on Crows Zero II, the problem raise again when "The Army of Killers" from rival high school Housen Academy threaten Suzuran High to avenge their death ex-leader. Housen thughs go after Suzuran ex Sho Kawanishi (Shinnosuke Abe) after his released from reformatory for killing their leader two years back. Kawanishi turns to his younger Suzuran gang members for protection. As a consequences, the Housen under Narumi Taiga(Nobuaki Kaneko) turn out seeks revenge on the entire Suzuran.

Man, really can't believe it, this was a very long journey indeed. After 333 chapter, the reign of Eyeshield 21 come to an end. If you now what i am saying, you will never forget this, the most evil man ever exist, The Darkness Commander Hiruma Yoichi, the sprinter Eyeshield 21 a.k.a Kobayakawa Sena with his lightening speed, the monkey Monta, Mushashi, Kurita and the others Deimon High fellas, Shin, Kid, Yamamoto, Agon, Gao and the others cause their will be always be remember for their remarkable spirit and friendship. They show us how to make the impossible possible, never give up, will to fight, have trust to team mates, respect, courage, and most importantly dare to challenge your very own self toward victory.

Eyeshield 21 a Shonen Jump Comic was sold over 16 million copies in Japan, adapted into an anime movie in 2004, an anime television series in 2005, several video games and a trading card game from Konami and since it began, the number of children playing American football has almost doubled in the four years.

Well this is all thanks to Riichiro Inagaki and Yusuke Murata for their great work. It was a total touchdown. Sayonara!

Naruto is an ongoing Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Masashi Kishimoto and first appeared in issue #43 of Weekly Shonen Jump back in 1999.
Serialized in Viz's Shonen Jump magazine, Naruto has become one of the company's best-selling manga series. As of volume 36, the manga has sold over 71 million copies in Japan.

The Prince of Tennis (Tenisu no Ōjisama) is a popular Japanese shōnen manga series written and illustrated by Takeshi Konomi.

The manga was first published in Japan in Shueisha's Weekly Shōnen Jump in July 1999, and ended publication on March 3, 2008. A total of 379 chapters and 42 volumes were serialize with 40 million copies has sold all over Japan.

The new manga series, entitled New Prince of Tennis, began serialization in the Jump Square magazine on March 4, 2009, with the story taking place several months after the end of the original manga.

Ryoma Echizen, a freshmen who attends Seishun Academy (Seishun Gakuen), or Seigaku for short, a private school which is known for being one of the most competitive teams in Japan. Ryoma with four straight American junior tournament titles, challenges the rule of Seishun Gakuen which is not allowed a freshmen to play in tournaments until summer. He defeats numerous upperclassmen to make himself one of the team's regulars. In pursuit of their ultimate goal of winning the National Middle School Tennis Championship, members of the team build a strong friendship while learning and mastering a high class techniques. Ryoma also begins to develop his own style of tennis, and eventually realizes what the sport really means to him.

Purported ad says that "a new legend for Ryoma and the others will begin"

"The late December issue (on sale on November 4) of Shueisha's Jump Square magazine announced that Takeshi Konomi will start a new manga series for The Prince of Tennis in the April issue (on sale on March 4). The purported advertisement from the Jump Square issue says that everything in The Prince of Tennis up to now has been "prologue" and that "a new legend for [the main character] Ryoma and the others will begin." Konomi ended the original manga series in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine last March after almost nine years and 379 installments. However, he has been soliciting new assistant artists since this early August.

Jump Square already announced that a new "tribute" manga called Hōkago no Ōji-sama (The Prince of Afterschool) will launch in the December issue on November 4. The same issue will have a poster, the launch of a new series of feature articles on The Prince of Tennis musical, and a giveaway for musical tickets. The second volume in the third animated video series was shipped, and the musical version continues to run in Japan, Taiwan, and South Korea. "

The story begins about two brothers, Alphonse and Edward Elric with their journey as alchemists and their quest to regain what they have lost. Their father Hohenheim, was a talented alchemist which is where their knack comes from. However, when they were young their father left, leave them remained in the care of their mother. One day their mother died, and in their innocence and ignorance, they attempted what was forbidden the most, human alchemy.

As the consequences, where they were obviously not prepared for, the brothers lost more than just their mother. In that accident, Alphonse loses his body and Edward lost his left leg. And in a moment of panic Edward ties his brother's soul to a piece of armor which cost him his right arm.

Some days later, an alchemist named Roy Mustang visits the Elric brothers, and he tells Edward to become a member of the State Military of the country to find a way to recover their bodies. After that, Edward's left leg and right arm are fitted with two sets of automail, a type of advanced prosthetic limb, created for him by his close family friends Winry Rockbell and her grandmother Pinako.

And as Edward sets out to become a State Alchemist, their quest begin with the brother's journey to find a alchemy amplifier so that they may return to their normal bodies.

Kubo began creating manga during high school (in his school anime club) where he made his first series "Zombie Powder" during his third year. He submitted Zombie Powder to The Weekly Shonen Jump (Shonen Jump) but it was rejected. He was later contacted by Shonen Jump editors and managed to improve the series and got Zombie Powder published in Shonen Jump in 1999, but was stopped after 4 books due to unpopularity and high sexual content. He did manage to make some short stories as well which are featured in the back of the Zombie Powder volumes. The titles are: Ultra Unholy Hearted Machine, Rune Master Urara, and Bad Shield United.
When Kubo started the series Bleach it was sadly rejected as well. This was due to its similarities to the series Yu Yu Hakusho by Yoshihiro Togashi. Times got very depressing for Kubo at this point until he receive a letter of encouragement from Akira Toriyama, the creator of the hit series Dragon Ball. It was then that Kubo found renewed hope and in 2002 Bleach was finally published and began serialization in Shonen Jump. The manga has risen to the tops of the charts and is now known worldwide. This lead to the production of the anime series, which is now over 90 episodes long! Kubo says he will not release a live action version of Bleach because it was meant to be manga and anime, and nothing more. Surprisingly, he draws all of the character designs for the anime series instead of letting his editors and workers do the job. Bleach's popularity has been skyrocketing, and shows no signs of slowing down.
