Cutting Back for Easier Growth

I'd like to hear some feedback on how useful the gallery is. It's possible to have a gallery for the avatars and wallpapers in a small scale area of the main part of the site. Galleries are suppose to be actively added to and in a way could take attention away from the forum and blog. However the gallery does drive a bit of search engine traffic to us.

Second thing is one or more off-topic forums may be merged to reduce redundancy.

Great thanks to everyone around the forums and EhNani with the blog. We didn't get anywhere in the Aniblog Tourney, but we perhaps have extra readers. Hopefully our drama, trolling, and wittiness brought us all closer together.

Next year there will surely be more contests and new forum features in the works.

Discussion
Interaction and engagement with others is what this site is about. Explaining why, asking questions, giving details, and sharing your view adds a lot of rich discussion. Forum posting is to be more than a brief word, image, or meme. Threads without discussion such as "count to 100" are not allowed.

"Bumping" or replying to older forum topics is acceptable.

Multiple forum replies in a row in a single thread will be automatically merged, topics better suited for a different forum will be moved, and cross-posting of duplicate topics will be merged.

Avatars and Signatures
Forum avatars and signatures are automatically resized if too large. Signatures are a personal space, but they are not to be used for image adverts like clickable banner ads.

Content and Behavior
Links, images, media, and assistance in obtaining or creating game emulators, pornography, pirated software, hentai, and pirated media is not allowed. Any other sort of discussion of such is allowed.

Flood spam, insults, private message harassment, and duplicate account creation is not allowed.

Unauthorized advertising of websites, products, and services is not allowed. Personal blogs, anime related sites, and social network profiles are excluded from this rule within reason.

You are encouraged to use the report button if you have an issue or concern with content or users wherever such button is available.

Gallery
No claiming images not of your own work as your creations. Linking the image source to give credit and for members to find more such images is not required, but it is appreciated.

Link Directory
You may add your own blog or site to the link directory if they fit in an existing category and non-member contributing of links is allowed.

Privacy and Email
Keep private information such as your address, phone number, and similar private or only share with individuals you trust.

This site and staff does not share/sell email addresses, IP addresses, and private/personal information with members or third parties. Emails are used for account identification and optional notifications. Settings pages has notification options for customization.

Private massages using the private conversation system are kept private, however there is a report button for reporting messages to site staff.

Something fresh on the horizon

There is going to be a new forum area related to anime and manga, but what it is exactly will be a secret for now. It'll have its own special way of handling useful replies.

Another possible surprise is the possibility of a new blogger. She'll hopefully introduce herself soon enough.
