Space dandy is released last year at 2013, I watch it at animax and this anime is aired at the same time as Japan. Basically Space Dandy is a 2 dimension comedic animation about alien hunter and his sidekick. Space Dandy the alien hunter is riding his personal airship the Aloha Oe with his two sidekick QT and Meow.

Qt is a robot and it has a lot info and data and this android is able to feel emotion. Sometimes he provide the data too late and causing problem. Meow is betelgeusian or shall I say an alien cat who likes to argue with Dandy.

This funny anime wouldn’t be complete without a foolish villain from the Gogol Empire. Most of the time Gogol Empire attempt to capture Dandy end up as a big failure and Dandy didn’t even notice their act to capture him. Some of Gogol Empire character is Admiral Perry, Dr. Gel and Bea.

If you appreciate a comedy anime with starwars like story, Space Dandy will become a good animation to watch to enlighten your mood.

Kumo To Churippu The Movie

Kumo To Churippu is a black and white anime released in 1943, this Japanese animation pictures quality is almost as good as Walt Disney black and white animation.

The main character of this movie is a spider and this spider is attracted to a tulip flower because the tulip is protecting a lady bug from the spider. At that time this anime is a good entertainment for children, because it was created for young viewers. That’s why they used animal as the main characters for this movie.

If you want to learn a Japanese animation history this classic black and white anime is a good movie to start your research.

Hakujaden The Movie

Today we would like to review a classic Japanese anime. Hakujaden is released in 1958 and become the first full color animation played on the big screen at Japan. Toei is involved in the making of this Japanese animation.

The story is taken from a Chinese legend and revolved around Su Chien (Xu – Xian) and Pai Nhian (Bai - Niang). Su Chien is an ordinary man and he is learning to become a scholar while Pai Nhian is a white serpent princess.

So many movie is adapted from this Chinese legend, Madame White Snake is a one of the famous Chinese mythology. If you are curious of what happened between Su Chien and Pai Nhian, then just watch this old and classic anime.

This anime has a unique story about unpopular high school boy named Yohta. When Moemi a girl that Yohta like told him that she love some one else, Yohta rent a video girl tape from eccentric video rental. When Yohta played the tape suddenly a girl come out from the tv screen, that girl is Video Girl Ai and then Ai lives with Yohta to help Yohta and Moemi relationship.

Because Yohta VCR is malfunctioning when he played the tape Ai character isn’t the same with the supposed to be personality designed for her. In the latter episode of this Japanese Animation, Ai is being recalled by her creator and Yohta is fighting to get her back.

Yohta and Ai grew closer when they are together, and they are starting to bound by love. If you like a romantic and funny story Video Girl Ai is a good anime for you to watch but this anime is not suitable for young children and some of the scene is made for adult audience. The character and story are created by Masakazu Katsura a famous anime and manga artist.

The story of this Japanese animation revolved around Chiaki Enno and Zenki. Centuries ago Master Ozune Enno bound the demon guardian Zenki into his service to fight evil. When the mission is completed Karuma and Zenki was sealed away until needed again. Chiaki Enno as the Enno descendant is able to break the seal on Zenki and she is a school girl. Zenki is bound in a child sized form when not fighting evil because he is defiant so Chiaki must use the power of the bracelet which appears on her wrist to bring him to full fighting stature.

The Seeds of Karuma cause people to turn into monsters embodying a vice which Zenki defeats so that he can eat the Seed. Set 3 adds demon / guardian Goki who boost Zenki’s power to the next level and usually provides a shield to protect the rest of the team of Chiaki, her Granma Saki, Saki’s brother Abbot Jukai, his assistant Kurabayashi and sometimes helping out hero Sohma Miki. This is another great fighting anime with a great story and a good humor.

Yakitate Japan

Hello fellow anime hunters today we would like to review Yakitate Japan, this unique Japanese animation told the story about Azuma and his friends. The anime starts when Azuma goes to the Phantasia Main Branch Store expecting to get a job only to discover that he has to compete for it in a series of exams. Azuma also starts at a disadvantage as he loses almost all of the ten points he needs to avoid being disqualified. It is in this arc that Azuma meets Kawachi, Kuroyanagi, Tsukino and Suwabara Kai. Shortly after the competition, Azuma and Kawachi get jobs at Phantasia’s Southern Branch store. A few stories take place there as they meet Ken Matsushiro and Azuma competes against a skilled but pampered baker.

This anime is a little bit funny with a unique story about a baker and a bakery. The expression and reaction to the taste are exaggerated that's what makes this cartoon so funny. It also reminds me of classic Born To Cook anime and some of hongkong comedy movies about cooking.

This anime told the story about a group of people who has to move through time and space. Syaoran, Sakura, Kurogane and Fai has to travel to find the mysterious feather. In their continuing journey to find the feather that are the fragments of Sakura’s lost memory, the group move through time and space with Mokona the teleportation animal with a lot of other ability. To be able to do this they have to give their precious belonging to the dimension witch.

One of the episode of this Japanese animation tells us their journey to the “Land of The Birdcage” a seemingly peaceful country, they learn that the king of the country possesses a mysterious power. They learn that mysterious power comes from Sakura’s feather. This anime was created by Clamp almost all the character are taken from their previous works. Syaoran and Sakura comes from their previous anime Card Captor Sakura, Mokona comes from Magic Knight Rayearth and some other character also comes from their previous works.

If you like gun fighting and action adventure animation, Trigun might be a great entertainment for you. This Japanese animation has a fun and hilarious character and story, the story revolved around a man named Vash. A gunslinger so dangerous, a $ 60,000,000,000 reward has been placed on his head.

Vash also known as the Humanoid Typhoon has been credited with the destruction of several towns, but miraculously there is no record of what happen to those who catch up to Vash. They either crawl away wounded (mostly from self inflicted damage) or they stagger away in disbelief that such a dork could possibly be the man they are looking for. This anime is a little bit funny with a lot of gun fighting scene.

This anime told us a story about Hitomi Kanzaki journey to another world. Hitomi Kanzaki is a typical high school girl, with all the regular high school problems. Hi, today I would like to recommend The Cat Returns, this anime is a Japanese animation that has magic, invention and artistry to captivate viewers of any age. This animated movie is filled with lovely hand drawn images, fantastical storyline and fabulous talking cats, it conjures up a world that is at once strange and haphazard, yet abides by its own peculiar internal logic. If you’re a big fan of Studio Ghibli this movie is one of their creation and recommended for you to watch.

The viewers will be taken into a whole new world when a young girl named Haru saves a cat from being run over by a truck. To her amazement, it suddenly stands up own its two hind legs and thanks her. This anime is one of masterpiece created by Studio Ghibli. Studio Ghibli also created Grave of Fireflies, Tales From Earthsea, Tonari no Totoro (My Neighbour Totoro) and Spirited Away the Academy Award winning anime.

This Anime revolved around Tsukamoto Tenma her sister and her friends. Tsukamoto Tenma is a second grader in high school who, like other girl her age, falls in love. However, she could not bring herself to confess her love to her classmate Karasumaru. She discovers that Karasumaru will transfer out next year and with the help of her friends and her little sister Yakumo, tries to confess her love.

Tenma also uses unorthodox method such as disguising herself as a nurse or shooting arrow with a love letter attached to express her feelings for him. On the other hand, Harima Kenji, a delinquent, has a feelings for Tenma. Unfortunately, Tenma preoccupation with Karasumaru ensures that she doesn’t notice Harima’s affection, much to Harima’s dismay. To make matters worse, one day he sees Tenma and Karasumaru having lunch together. This causes him to skip school and embark on a journey of enlightenment. This modern Japanese animation is very funny and entertaining.

This anime told us another story of Hitokiri Battousai, the story of this Japanese animation movie of Samurai X happened before the anime tv series started.

Famous trough out all Japan as the Hitokiri Battousai (sword bearing master assassin), Rorouni Kenshin is now a lost soul cursed to seek atonement for his bloody past. Even the peace that now exists as a result of Kenshin sword brings him no solace, driving him to wander far from those he loves. His wife, Kaoru, steadfastly awaits his return as she mourns his absence. Will Kenshin come home before she dies of grief ?

This Anime story revolved around Kenshin and his friends. Kenshin comes to term with the discontent festering in his soul. He regrets the death and suffering he has caused and hopes to find a better life with the mysterious Tomoe. A conventional story would end on this note of self discovery and moral growth. But Samurai X unfolds like a Kabuki tragedy : the desire for revenge remains strong, especially among the agents of the last Tokugawa Shogun, who are anxious to crush the nascent rebellion led by the Chosu clan. Kenshin was an important agent for the Coshu and Tomoe is just a pawn, but the outcome of a game may hinge on a strategically positioned pawn. Kenshin finally grasp the lessons his master, Hiko, attempted to teach him the need for inner peace and the possibility of defending the weak without resorting to violence. This japanese animation is one of the best sword fighting anime.

This movie also tells the story about Chinese legend that include a priest, a monkey king and his magical staff.

Ranma 1/2 is one of the funniest classic anime, the story tells us about martial arts students named Ranma and Akane Tendo. Ranma and Akane have been arranged to be married against their will.
