An artifact known as the "King's Seal" is stolen during transport from Soul Society by an unidentified Soul Reaper and two arrancar girls who control fire and lighting. Tōshirō Hitsugaya seems to recognize the Soul Reaper, who stabs him in the stomach, and abandons his post to pursue him. Seireitei suspects him of treason and orders his immediate capture, with the possibility of disbanding the 10th Division should he be guilty.

Tōshirō is found unconscious by Ichigo, who knows that Soul Society is looking for him. Tōshirō refuses to explain what's happening, but Ichigo is attacked by the two arrancar before he can force the issue. Tōshirō continues to avoid capture, and things only look worse when the Soul Reaper thief, identified as Sōjirō Kusaka, uses Hitsugaya's Hyōrinmaru to injure Shunsui Kyōraku. Tōshirō's capture is made top priority, and his execution is approved if he resists.

Tōshirō eventually manages to track Sōjirō down, where it is revealed that the two managed to manifest the same zanpakutō. Because this is a taboo in Soul Society, they were forced to fight to the death. It was decided that Tōshirō would be the winner and Sōjirō was apparently killed, only to reincarnate in Hueco Mundo. Seeking revenge on Soul Society, he stole the King's Seal, which allows the user to freely manipulate time, space, and matter within a small space. Using it, Sōjirō teleports Tōshirō and himself to Soul Society, needing the power of Tōshirō's bankai to break the seal. When Tōshirō refuses, Sōjirō breaks the seal himself, becoming a dragon made of ice. However, because he lacks the control Tōshirō possesses, the power goes berserk and threatens to destroy Soul Society. With much help, Ichigo and Tōshirō manage to destroy Sōjirō's dragon form. Returned to his regular form, Sōjirō and Tōshirō have one last clash, ending in Sōjirō's defeat. Tōshirō is cleared of all charges and the King's Seal is restored, allowing Tōshirō to finally put his past to rest.

Korono Kei, a high school freshman, put on airs and thought only about
a girl. One day, on his way home, he came across a guy accidentally
fell from the platform. He didn’t care for other person, and at first
he enjoyed watching this. However, Kato Masaku, who was the classmate
in his elementary days, suddenly got off from the platform to help the
man. Being asked for help, Kei reluctantly began to help him. But when
they were helping the man, a train came. They must have been killed by
the train, but they were transferred into a room of a condominium in a
moment. There, they found a black sphere and people who supposed to be
dead like Kei. They couldn’t get out of the room, and they couldn’t
even touch the wall. What is the room? What is this ball?

While all things were going on, a naked girl named Kishimoto Kei was
transferred into the room. Then, from the sphere, “raido excecise
song” came, and it said, “Your lives are gone, and the new lives are
all at my will”. I didn’t explain anything other than that, and it
gave them weapons and ordered them to hunt aliens.

He couldn’t cry for help, and gradually Kei and Kato found that it was
a real fight and was not a game or TV. Regardless of their will, they
were involved in a mysterious fight against aliens.

What will happen to them? What is the mysterious sphere, “Gantz”?

In 1995, all 800 habitants of the isolated Kamikakushi Island vanished in one night, all but a single girl who lost her memory. The cause of the disappearances was never identified.

Four years later, that girl, Mari, transfers to a girl's dormitory school, Kaihou Gakuen, leaving behind her grandmother who had been her guardian ever since the incident. There, she meets Hagino.

Hagino is the school idol and completes her student council responsibilities flawlessly. The moment she touches Mari&񗝉s hand, however, Hagino freaks out, straddling atop Mari, hands aroundher throat. Mari is afraid of and angry at Hagino, who pretends as if nothing had happened while in front of other students, but at the same time, somehow, she is attracted to Hagino too.

In reality, Hagino is actually an alien who was sent to Earth in order to reconnoiter prior to an invasion. The event on Kamikakushi Island occurred when the 200-member crew of a battleship, the Blue, whose captain was Hagino and the island's inhabitants had killed each other. The Blue was seriously damaged and hidden. Hagino had since blended into human society and continued her reconnaissance.

Within her school life, while fighting with fellow students, Mari begins to come out of her shell. Hagino has been living a double life, but her encounter with Mari makes her face human beings, and gradually she begins to have doubts about her mission. While the invasion and war draws closer unnoticed, the girls begin to understand each other.

During winter, a first grade high school boy, Rikudo Tokidoki, visits a traveling exhibition of the Last Days of the Tokugawa Shogunate held at an advanced museum using the latest technologies. It is a theme park where visitors can experience the last days of the Tokugawa Shogunate via computer graphics wearing special goggles.

However, when he is roaming around, Nue, a monster, appears and he is brought into the world Amatsuki. It looks like the last days of the Edo Era, but monsters and humans coexist there. He meets a girl, Kuchiha, who saves him from Nue, and classmate Shinonome Kon. Kon had also visited the exhibition but he was transferred to a time two years prior to Tokidoki arrival. Together, they start looking for the way back to their world.

Later, after meeting Ginshu, a shrine maiden, and Bonten, a monster, Tokidoki learns of his fate.

Which path will Tokidoki choose? Will he become the destroyer of Amatsuki in order to go back, or will he become the ruler of Amatsuki in order to save it?

Kaoru Hanabishi, a college student who lives alone, met a beautiful but bewildered girl dressed in kimono at train station. Not knowing what to do next, Kaoru invited the devastated girl to his apartment and asked for additional clue -- a photo with two children whom Kauru immediately identified as himself and Aoi Sakuraba, his childhood friend. It turned out that the girl in front of him is Aoi Sakuraba herself, his betrothed fiancÃ©e who came all the way to Tokyo to marry him. Ever since she can remember, Saiki Misaki has had the ability to talk to ghosts. She works as a special consultant for the city`s secret division that deals with supernatural cases. Shakugan no Shana II

This being the second season i recommend watching S1 first its well worth it

{Prelude}
He had thought his normal days would last forever, until they were ended abruptly by an encounter with a girl with red hair and eyes. He named her Shana.

Not long after he enters high school, Sakai Yuji's normal days come to an end. He sees something bizarre on his way home: people are frozen in a strange fire, and a monster that looks like a large doll is attacking them. Just when he's about to be killed, a girl in a dark cloak wielding a large sword appears, and slices the monster in half. Although Yuji survives the strange encounter, the girl informs him of a desolate truth: "You don't 'exist' anymore."

She calls herself a Flame Haze who hunts "Kuze no Tomogara"; intruders from another world. She explains to him that he is a "Torch", a substitute of Yuji whose "existence" has already been devoured. She also told him that he is a special Torch, "Mystis", which contains a precious item in it. When he looks at his chest, he sees within himself a faint flame, just as she said.

It is in this way that his eternal struggle alongside the girl begins.
