Valvrave's "Preserved Roses" Gets 115,000 Copies Sold

One of my favorite anime opening this Spring is Valvrave's Preserved Roses performed by Nana Mizuki and T.M. Revolution. The song had a JPop and JRock melody and sold a total of 115,000 copies on Oricon Weekly Charts. The first day release garnered a total of 45,523 which is a phenomenal figure and then ended to the 115K mark barely missing the top spot which is claimed by Kat-Tun's "FACE to face".

Little Witch Academia Bluray Announced

One of the entry in Anime Mirai 2013 was Little Witch Academia which was produced by Studio Trigger. The anime despite airing in half an hour was very much well praised for it's outstanding quality of it's animation and well delivered story. The anime has been released in Crunchyroll and Youtube with English Subs and prior to that Studio Trigger will also be releasing a Bluray version of the Title w/ bonus content. There's no information yet on when it will be released plus a nice listing of what the bonuses are.

Blue Exorcist Episode 15

Rin goes berserk as he finally uncovers his real identity when he fought Amaimon straight on. Aside from the first three openers, this one is probably the most explosive and my favorite ever since the anime aired. The animation and the battle is awesome and the involvement of the supporting characters added extra motivation to Rin to use his demon slaying sword.

Lupin III VS Dectective Conan Movie 2 Trailer

Trailer for the recently announced 2nd movie of Lupin III Vs Conan. Contrary to the first movie special which aired on Japanese Television, this upcoming film will be aired in Japanese Theaters. The trailer doesn't reveal much info but we can see the two prominent silhouette of the King of Thieves and the cunning kid detective.

Hunter X Hunter Episode 80

I hated when they consume a quarter of the episode about Gyro's past which I think will not have a significant contribution in the plot. Not unless Gyro's character traits will be inherited by one of the Queen's soldier or will have a significant effect of the King's trait then I think it served it's purpose well. But aside from that, episode 80 is the mark that from here on wards they will be dead serious in assaulting the chimera ant's nest.

Suisei No Gargantia Episode 7

After a streak of long episodes of fan-service stuff we finally get to see an interesting episode which is related to the plot. So on the previous episode, Ledo met a "Whale Squid", Chamber analyzed that it's 99% related to Hideauze and Ledo went from standby to offensive and finally killed it in the process. But unfortunately, the culture of the people in the fleet is weird enough where they taught that killing one is a Taboo and is extremely prohibited.

According to the official website, the first copies of 3rd and 6th volume of Attack On Titan Bluray Disc will have a bonus visual novel game of the same name. Which will cover spin-off stories several characters of the hit anime and manga Attack on Titan.

Rin and the rest of the class goes in a trip to practice their skills in the woods filled with demons at night. They set up their base camp before it catches dark by setting tents and magical circles that will serve as barrier from the demons in the area and when nightfall began Rin and Shura took charge of the class by giving them a nice exercise.

Attack on Titan Episode 7

The hottest anime this spring, Attack On Titan, continue to impress the viewers with a new twist on it's plot. Most would probably think that the new Titan who appeared to save Mikasa might have thought that it's Eren. It's the most logical answer after the author killed the the main character which everyone had loved on the early episodes. The most distinguishing evidence that the new Titan is Eren is it's knowledge in hand to hand combat and the pair of green eyes which is similar to Eren's.

Cute and Sexy Madoka Magica Cosplay!

They've been talking about this on one of the boards of 2ch and I can't blame them cause this is one quality cosplay. The cosplayers are really cute and sexy especially Mami-chan as she overly emphasized her chest too much. Sadly, I can't locate the originals just in case there are more stuffs like this but I think this one's more than enough to cosplay addicts reading my blog.

Kakumeiki Valvrave Episode 6

The escalation of events are so rapid making Kakumeiki Valvrave one of the anime shows with a great start. The only thing that separates Valvrave from Shingeki No Kyojin is the presence of fan-service elements but everything else had it's great delivery. I didn't expect that they'll be picking another pilot for the Green Valvrave which Rukino named as Carmilla and I think She's a much better pilot than Haruto as seen in the previous episodes.

Chihayafuru Season 2 Episode 19

Probably the best episode this season. I think it's going to be the climax of the series after airing season 1 in the past year because Chihaya-chan achieved something with her fellow team mates and that is to become the National Champions in the Karuta Tournament. It sucks though that she can't compete for tomorrow's individual match-up but I don't care anymore since they've got the trophy this year.

A ranking that reveals which among the anime shows this spring 2013 gets dropped by the Japanese viewers. Unfortunately some of the shows who made it in the high ranks are totally good which made me think on what could be the reason why they dumped it. Anyway it's never too late to change their mind and probably they'll watch them again if the ending of the shows are worth it. The survey was organized by Big Globe Poll with it's respondents coming from the Japanese viewers.

Hataraku Maou-Sama Episode 7

Hataraku Maou-Sama is becoming more of a Harem Anime now but I don't really care since the quality of each episode is still good as ever. The entertainment value cause by the over exaggerating reaction of the characters is what makes the series more laughable and although the plot seems to be a bit twisted now it's still a nice show.

Tiger and Bunny Episode 2

Forget about the synergy of Kotetsu and Barnaby which I've mentioned in my episode review last time. Obviously things will be different from here onwards as we see that both of them are not capable to do proper teamwork but we got a glimpse to see their strong characteristics and personality on this episode. Compared to episode 1 I've enjoyed episode 2 much better because the humor made me laugh and it's not the "trying hard" type where the comedy comes naturally.

Knights of Sidonia Anime Announced

Tsutomu Nihei's Knights of Sidonia Manga gets an anime adaptation according to the cover of Kodansha's July issue of Monthly Afternoon Magazine. Reports were published of the editorial department of the magazine on it's Facebook Page. The image is not to be confused of "Big Windup", A sports anime which aired a few years back. The publication will be released this May 25 in Japan.

The Melancholy Of Haruhi Suzumiya Episode 1

Weird episode but I enjoyed this one. Been hearing good reviews about it but it's kinda weird, It's like a slice of Life anime with some kind of mystery in the show. From the looks of the anime it appears to be romance show disguised a slice of life environment. Nevertheless the delivery and execution is properly done which didn't bore me out despite the fact that I don't watch anime in romantic genre. What's epic about this is Kyon's Narration which added a nice natural drama as you watch it.

Blue Exorcist Episode 13

Not as good as the previous episode but we get to see a new start here as Rin gets serious on him being an exorcist. It's actually the continuation of episode 12, when the guy with the hoodie (Rin's classmate) revealed her true identity and is one of the highly ranked Middle-Class exorcist who's been on the look out and discovered that Rin's the Son of Satan. But instead of killing Rin, Shura anticipated it that this will happen as she's also one of Shiro's apprentice and he entrusted Rin to her to train him of being an exorcist as she has experience with demon blades before.

Tiger And Bunny Episode 1

Saw this anime on my local cable channel and I think it's awesome. The only thing that stopped me from watching it is because I'm sick with the dubbing. I'm not saying that it's bad but the voice range has always been the same. That's why I opted watching Tiger and Bunny over the internet instead of tuning on TV. Anyway Episode 1 is great and I like the concept of heroes being introduced in modern society.

Kuroko No Basket Tip Off

Part of Kuroko No Basket's episode which was not aired in the TV series but is included on the anime's original Bluray Bundle. The story revolves around Seirin's ace Kuroko Tetsuya and his story about his past. Nothing flashy and awesome about the episode but we get to see the relationship of Kuroko and the Generation of Miracles. Amazingly Kise Ryouta has been the main man on this episode.

Kyoani's latest anime to debut this Summer in Japan had it's character designs revealed on their site. And it took me some time to notice it despite my several visits on their homepage. The good thing about it is that at least they're clothed, female fans of course are disappointed with this but I think that's good enough to build the anticipation once they start airing it live. Blue Exorcist Episode 12

Finally we're into business again as episode 12 starts to include Rin's other brother Amaimon which was permitted by Mephisto to roam inside the academy and started playing with Rin. We've got another fan-service shots in the story as Shiemi got rid on her kimono and used a school uniform instead so her sexy parts were highlighted to show her breasts and thighs.

For some reason they've been assigned to hunt a ghost in the amusement park and she was tagged along with Rin. As the two explored the amusement park Shiemi finally separated with Rin as she spotted the ghost and it was when Amaimon made a move to snatch Rin's demon slaying sword easily.
