Who is ready for the weekend? I am, I am! This week was a killer at work. Busy, loved every minute of it, but still a killer. Let's just say my booty is draggin'. You know how I love the Unity Friends with Flair blog hop though, don't you? I love it so much I propped my peepers open with toothpicks just so I could type this blog post up.

I made this easy peasy little card using the Unity It Suits You Itty Bitty stamp. This is such an adorable itty bitty little stamp set, and at a great price point too. I could pump one of these cards out so quickly, with as simple as it is. Sometimes simple is good...I think.

Have a Picture Perfect Day

Let's start this week off right, mmm'kay...with a picture perfect day! ;) We had a very mellow weekend here, aside from the fact that we had a little snow fall and a whole lot of that crazy wind. We finally watched the Hangover 2 movie over the weekend. Hmmm...the jury is still out on that one. LOL

Today I am sharing a card that I made using the Kraftin Kimmie Jeannie rubber stamp. Isn't this image adorable!?! It totally reminds me of my little crafty cousin Alanna. Sheesh...I'm not sure I should be referring to her as my little cousin anymore now that she is 16 years old. Wowsers...just typing those words makes me feel old. LOL Alanna absolutely loves to take photos, and so I know she would adore this card. It will very likely end up in her mailbox one day. I'm pretty happy with the way the card turned out. Looking at it makes me smile, and I hope it has the same effect on you.

Hellllooooooo weekend! And hello to you too. Really, is there any day of the week better than Saturday? Wake up when you want to (okay, actually wake up the exact same time as every day of the week because sleeping in seems impossible...but at least you don't HAVE to...ha), do what you want to (well, do what you HAVE to get done before Monday arrives), and have some weekend fun. Sundays are pretty alright too. ;)

Here's a little card that I created using the Jillibean Soup by Unity Basket Full of Wishes Itty Bitty stamp. Please ignore the horrendous lighting in the photo. If not for the fact that this card has already been given away, I would have definitely attempted a better photo. Oh well, better luck next time. Doesn't this card just scream spring? I am so ready for some beautiful spring weather. Who's with me on that!?!

Sadly, as many of you may know, the Anita Be Stampin Shoppe has closed. Don't fret though...I will still be around as a blogger and crafter. This blog started out as my personal blog, and now it will just revert back to my personal blog. Happy Friday, friends! Today many of us are celebrating Veteran's Day, a day to honor all of those who have served us so bravely. I cannot even begin to express my gratitude to those who have worked to protect our liberties, as well as their friends and families. Thank you so much for everything that you do!

Hello friends! It’s been awhile, hasn’t it? I sure missed you all while I was away. Have you been wondering where I’ve been all of these months? I have moved to a different time zone as we relocated for Joe’s job, and I also started a new full time job. It’s taking me a bit of time to get adjusted to my new small town life and back into a routine of normalcy, but I think I am getting to a point where I can get back to crafting a bit. Yay for having time to craft again! ;)

Today I am sharing a card made for Anita Be Stampin Challenge #25. The challenge this week is to make a Halloween card, and so I grabbed my Frankenbride rubber stamp set, which was just also released as a digi image today. Happy Halloween! I absolutely cannot believe that fall is here. It is soooo freakin' cold already here in Nebraska. Hmmph. ;)

Even though it's Halloween I don't have a Halloween project to share. Instead I'm here with this sympathy card that features fall colors. The patterned paper used is from the Basic Grey Pyrus line. I believe this is a new line by BG, but I'm not sure. Either way it is a gorgeous collection of paper that is just perfect for fall projects.

A Ghoulish Cupcake Inspiration Challenge

Happy Sunday, friends! Cupcake Inspiration Challenge #81 is sponsored by Raindrop Echo Designs, who has generously provided the CIC DT Sweeties with digital sentiment stamps to work with. I chose to work with this Halloween Ticket Sentiments image, which I colored using my Copic airbrush.

The main image used is from the Anita Be Stampin Frankenbride cling mounted rubber stamp set. This card will also be entered in Card Patterns Sketch challenge #86. I felt like the left side of this card needed a little pizzazz, so I outlined the edge of the punched black paper with a quickie glue pen and sprinkled a little Martha Stewart onyx glitter on. I think it did the trick. ;)

Aren't the cupcakes in this week's inspiration photo just adorable? I continue to be amazed by the talent of those who can decorate cupcakes so beautifully.
Hmmm...decorating fabulous cupcakes...I'll add that to the growing list of things I'd like to learn how to do someday. LOL

Cupcake Inspiration Challenge - Fall Kindness

Hello there! :) It's Sunday, and that means that it's time for another fabulous, delicious looking cupcake photo to inspire our crafty mojo.

This week the Cupcake Inspiration Challenge is to create a card based on this lovely cupcake. Aren't these fall colors just gorgeous!?!

Cupcake Inspiration Challenge #80 is sponsored by A Passion For Stamps, who has generously provided us with a digi image to work with. I chose the Lily image as I knew I would enjoy coloring this image with Copic markers.

I kept the card quite simple as I wanted the main image to be the star of the show. It may be difficult to see in the photo, but there are tiny drops of glossy accents on the petals that are meant to look like dew. I really like the way that the dew turned out in spite of the fact that I had a little lapse of judgement after applying the glossy accents. I propped my image up vertically to dry, and some of my dew drooped as a result. Leave it to me to pull a smooth move like that. LOL ;)

Cupcake Inspiration Challenge #79

Happy Sunday peeps! I'm running just a little late today, eh? ;) It's time for the Cupcake Inspiration Challenge once again, and this week the challenge is sponsored by Softpencil. Isn't that inspiration cupcake just frightful? Frightfully cute if you ask me! LOL

I used a lot of distressing on this project, and I tend to think the distressed look complements the Halloween theme well. I think it's because the distressed edges remind me of cobwebs, especially when white core paper is used. I masked off the main image and used my Copic airbrush to color the background yellow. Can you believe I have had my air compressor (purchased for use with my airbrush) sitting around unopened for over a year!?! Yeah, that's so my style. I finally used it. No more canned air for me...hooray!

Happy World Card Making Day! To celebrate, let's have a grand opening! ;) That's right, Anita Be Stampin is now open for business. Woot woot! Anita Be Stampin Sneak Peek Day 3

Happy Friday! :) Oh my goodness...only one more sleep 'til our grand opening celebration. I am beyond excited! I have more images to introduce to you today, so I'll hop right to it. The first card features the "Cherry Sweet" cling mounted rubber stamp set. Is she cute or what? This card will be entered in Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge #93.

Oh, isn't this little gal just the spookiest!?! LOL I used a digi image called Tabitha for my second sample today. I just adore this little witch! This card is based on SCS Sketch #300.

My last card features a digi image called Tallulah. Isn't this gal so prim and proper!?! I dressed her necklace up with some rhinestones and gave her a "diamond" earring to match. Love it! This card will be submitted to Pink Elephant Challenge # 84.

Anita Be Stampin Sneak Peek Day 2

Hi there, bloggy friends! :) Are you ready for some bling, people? LOL Today we are revealing a few more images that will be available on Saturday...woot woot! First up is a card using the "Rosie Shops" cling mounted rubber stamp set. Isn't she fierce!?!

The second card features a digi image to be released on Saturday called "Of Course I Willa", or just Willa for short. She's quite the lucky gal...look at that big engagement ring! LOL I made the large flower by using Nestabilities to cut circles out of cardstock, then distressing the circles and layering them using dimensional foam adhesive.

Please remember that we will be celebrating the grand opening of Anita Be Stampin at the ABS PCP Group on Saturday, October 2nd with lots of fun and opportunities to win prizes throughout the day. Anita Be Stampin Sneak Peek Day 1

Hi everybody! :) I hope you are well on your way to having a fabulous day already. Today Lelia and I will begin showing sneak peeks of images that will be available at Anita Be Stampin on Saturday, grand opening day...woot woot! I used a rubber stamp set called "Rosie's Sweets" on my first card today. Joe's had a hand in naming this stamp set after his adorable niece Rosie. He took one look at the main image and said the eyes reminded him of her. Too cute!

Next up, I have used one of the digi images that will be released on Saturday. The digi image is called "Soon to Bree a Mama", or just Bree for short. Every pregnant gal needs a little bling on her outfit and/or shoes don't you think? LOL
