First, and foremost, the park I used to work at when I was at Disney, Downtown Disney! Well, yes, the specific part I worked at is gone, Pleasure Island looks nothing like the Pleasure Island I used to work and love, but 8Trax is still there, just hidden behind a bunch of foliage.

 

 

 

Next up is the hotel we stayed at: Pop Century Resort. It’s one of the economy hotels, which means about a gazillion rooms, and lots of photo ops for the tourists. Not that other Disney hotels don’t also show this penchant for photo ops, but no hotel is like Pop Century. You’ll see why:

But the Animal Kingdom is just so special for me. This park was the one Mike and I had the most fun at. We enjoyed watching the animals, and that was something I have to thank him for since I was never one to pause to actually pay attention to them, but not that I did it, I am so happy that it happened. All those animals in the park are what make it so much fun and beautiful.

So yeah, you got it. This post will be photo heavy. I tried to edit it down to just the best of the best ones, but there were still a lot of best of the best. Enjoy!

My favorite park has always been Epcot, but in this trip, for some reason, it wasn’t as fun, and I don’t know why. Maybe the difference was that last time I was there, I didn’t get to see the entire park at once, I usually only had a couple of hours, so I enjoy a part of it and then go home. But this time it was so hot and we got so tired… such a pity. But, I’ll admit. There were some pretty nice highs on that trip, like going crazy at the Japan and Italy stores (so many cool things!), eating really good food, and meeting some pretty cool celebrities. You’ll see what I’m talking about on the pictures:

And I was one of the lucky muggles that were able to visit Hogwarts. It rocks. The only bummer thing is that because of all that magic, DSLR cameras tend to malfunction, so I had to bring my poor point and shoot to the castle. I did my best, though, and I hope you can still experience a bit of the magic through those pictures.

Anyway, here’s the first installment of the series of pictures of my ten-day-more-like-a-marathon-than-a-trip trip to Orlando, FL. It was awesome. In the meantime, you can find me blogging regularly at OccupyTheWardrobe.com with a few friends.

So I moved on, and started to do photo-blogging here, a much nicer place for photos. Recently I found some of the pictures I fotologged, most of them scans of photos my parents and I took on travels, before I even had a decent camera. I’d like to share them with you today:
