About a month ago I did a 2 day shoot for Hudson Jeans in Palm Springs. Today I received a package in the mail from them. I was so excited to see that they sent me the exact pair of jeans that I've been wanting! How did they know? So thank you very much Hudson Jeans! Not only did I have a blast working with all of you, but you totally hooked me up! yay!

I've had this dress sitting for a while and I haven't worn it. When i was looking at these pictures I realized why - way too floral. Oh well, still a cute dress but just not really what I want to wear right now.

Acne.

2012-11-03T23:54:00.000-07:00

Yay! I'm so so so excited for the cooler weather because I finally get to wear my Acne leather jacket. I bought it back in August and have been dying to wear it! Paired with a perfectly slouchy beanie, and my black frye boots it's an effortless fall look. Love it!

Halloween

2012-11-01T22:57:00.000-07:00

Happy Halloween! We were lucky to be invited by the always amazing Olivia to the Nasty Gal party - which ended up being in a warehouse just down the street from our loft. It was crazy! Packed to the rafters with weirdoes. Jesse was happy to see an amazingly accurate dude who made the night all worthwhile as he was totally in character and without a beat responded with a "right on man" when Jesse talked to him.

As fun as the party was, preparing for halloween was a lot more fun. Once we came up with the idea to be Gothic Lolitas it took a lot of research to put it all together. If you know anything about me, I have to be perfect in anything that I do. We scoured little tokyo, online, called everywhere it was tough to find all the components. Luckily i came across a website called Rakuen and was able to get a dress from them. Jesse was originally going to be a boy version - Elegant Gothic Aristocrat - but was having lots of trouble finding the costume. When he found a dress at American Vintage right when we were about to give up on the idea he joked that he should be a girl - and the idea just stuck. I have to admit it was fun dressing him up and doing his makeup! Can't wait for next year!

I've had these boots for like the past year... and i finally wore them out! i tend do that. Shopping in my own closet! If you look closely you can see the white piping where the leather has worn off my Rocco bag. :( I had it fixed once at Barney's around the second month I had it, but now its worn off again. I still love you Alexander Wang, but sheesh!

The perfect leather jacket.

2012-07-25T18:08:00.001-07:00

i'm so excited!!! ok so i've been searching for the past 3 days for the perfect black leather moto jacket. it all started when i saw this iro jacket last week... and its been stuck in my head since... so we've been all over LA looking at jackets... and after buying(and returning) two other jackets(an isabel marant and a theyskin's theory) i'm finally in love! i don't know why i didn't think about ACNE but when Jesse suggested i check opening ceremony for it... i knew right away! perfect jacket!

Oh and jesse got these frames:

It's All Over Now, Baby Blue

2012-07-06T22:31:00.000-07:00

First let me just tell you how much i love my wildfox dress, love it! so comfy! i slept in these braids and decided it went with my outfit as i had intentions of wearing my hair like the photos at the end of the post. It's an easy non damaging heatless way of putting some major texture in your hair! Just braid your hair after a shower, let it dry and pull the braids apart, shake it out and run your fingers thru it. It's not meant to be perfect, just to add texture and fun!

Anna Lee is out of town working for most of June so I'll be posting some photos we(ahem I) didn't have time to add to the blog. These are from way way back in April when it was still cold and rainy in LA. Perfect weather to wear a stylestalker jacket mais oui?

Flea Market (last)Sunday

2012-05-06T23:41:00.000-07:00

It's Jesse again. Some snaps from last Sunday. We almost always hit up the Melrose Trading Post on Sundays, it has the best selection without all the hassle of going to the bigger flea markets(rose bowl i'm looking at you). Anna Lee scored a vintage Fendi clutch, a cute little silver mesh purse and a (cough cough) Chanel bag. We then kicked over to our favorite place for fish tacos where I ate way too much (i'm not saying where, the lines are getting too long). Perfect sunday!

Fish Tacos!
