It's been a long time since I have posted to my blog. I have had so much going on in my life. Fourth grade is busy. I was in the play Seussical, Jr. which was so fun, I am in girl scouts, and I play the cello. Click on the link to hear today's chat and a little cello music.

Fun with Fall Leaves

My sister Sara went to TWO birthday parties this weekend so Mommy, Daddy, and I decided to rake leaves. We used the leaf blower and made a big pile. When Sara came home, all the kids from the birthday jumped in the leaves. It was fun.

I am in this play at my school. I am a Jungle Creature. We did auditions and I was close to being called back but I know I can do a lead role another year. I can't wait until the play which is going to be in the Spring. We will be rehearsing each week. I will add pictures after the play.

Today we celebrated America's Birthday! We were in a parade (see picture) with our decorated wagon. I pulled Sara. Then we had some friends over for a cookout. I had softball practice today with a BRAND new glove and helmet. My helmet has to have a face mask to protect me from the fast pitches. My cousin got a new puppy named Snuggles. She is really tiny and fit inside this Groovy Girl tent. I can't wait to see her and "snuggle" with her. I wonder if she will be scared of my big fat kitty, Taz!

Happy Birthday Grampa!!
I went to Huntley Meadows with my family today. Does anyone know what kind of bug this is? Sara saw it on a leaf and we took a picture of it. Isn't it freaky? Check out my chat for today to hear more about what we saw at Huntley Meadows. It really needs some rain. Like three straight days of rain. It was so dry, there were not many places with water.
