Graphic 45 Secret Garden card video tutorial

Hi everyone :-)

Had a request on how to make the first page on the Secret Garden roof mini album with the zipper look, so I made a tutorial on how to and made it into a card.

Tim Holtz Pocket watch cards and grunge tag card

Finally i got the new pocket watch die from Tim Holtz and i had to try it out for some cards and tag :-)

Here i used black cardstock and foil tape and went over with TH texture hammer and black staz On.

Chain punch from Ek succsess

Used the new movers and shapers circle die to cut out the middle part so it can be used as a frame for the receiver . Fastened with a magnet and embellished with gears from TH and spellbinders

This card is made for a confirmation boy

This is the same card but in more grunge style

Inside the cards is place to write a personal message and also a pocket to put in money

Magnets are hidden with gears

Grunge tag made of the packing of TH supplies. Embossed with Sizzix clock embossing folder and painted over with distress paint. Then used distress ink over.

The wings are cut out from the love stuck die.

Chain is painted with distress paint. Love this new paint! Perfect for metal :-)

Fastened with magnets

The card with wings can be opened to write a message inside

Made this card for my son who loves sudoku :-)

The sudoku is also fastened wit a magnet and behind i made a pocket to put in a prize that he gets when he has solved the sudoku

Tutorial how to make a Pocket flap mini album

Here is the tutorial on how to make the base for the Secret Garden mini album.

It is easy and fast to make :-)

Will show 2 different techniques for page binding

The album is made off 4 - 12 x 12 papers and folded so it create pockets and flaps.

If you want to make the album for a roof you can place seam binding in in between page 2 and 3 and on the outside of the cover before attaching the decor papers

Had so fun making this Wishing Well with mini albums and used gorgeous Secret garden collection from Graphic 45

The crank is made of a knitting needle and three cool

Made the roof as a mini album and there is also a mini album in the bottom that lif with the crank

Mini album. Made the flower from the cardstock cut outs. So fun :-)

Measurements for the Wishing well

Cut a strip out of medium weight chipboard and used a wet cloth on so it will bend easy

Folded it around a bowl and glued it together with Tyvek envelopes

Drew around the bowl and cut the circle a bit on the outside

Glued it on with Tyvek envelope

2 layers of thick chipboard glued together for the post on the sides

Cut it at an angel on the top

Also glued 2 thick chipboard together for the roof to make it study

Measurement for the circle album

Glued a stirp of Tyvek envelope on the side and fastened an eyelet

Drilled a hole and bend a knitting needle for the crank

telescoping card Using Tim Holtz Tick Tock 657830 die, gears and Spellbinders gears

Here the telescoping is folded out. There is also a tag behind the clock

Another card with the same die. Used Adhesive Mirrored Sheet. Riveted Metal embossing folder. Black distress paint and sanded it so the mirror show up on the clock.Some gears and clock parts. Also used Spellbiders gears dies

The mirror circle is fastened with a magner so the receiver can use it as a frame

Inside there is place for a personal greeting

Back side of the card. Used the new rub ons from TH

Vintage typewriter 657836 from TH

Made this as a card and. Used platinum powder and black soot distress embossing and platinum powder . Also used the new rub ons and a pen nib.

The leather string was rolled around a thick needle and then I used heat gun so it stay in shape

Made a mini album for a gift with TH Vintage camera 657834 die. Used black soot distress embossing and platinum powder So easy and fun :-)

Behind the lence is place for a photo

Pages are binded to each other using hinge on the end of the page

Each page is cut 2 1/2 x 4 3/4 and scored at 3/8 and 1/2 for the hinges

Used film srtip and dies inside to make pockets / holders for tags and photos

On the back side i got to play with the new hinge from TH :-)

Film strip die inside for photos. Used the same embossing powders

This was the first i made. Fun Fun Fun :-)

Tutorial - Clock card using Tim Holtz Vintage globe die

Hi everyone :-)

Had so fun making cards with Tim Holtz dies so i though I share how to make this clock card.

Design Team project for Kreativ Scrapping and you can find the products here

The accessories are from Tim Holtz

Glitter struktur gel is from Marabu

Spellbinders foil

Metallic rub ons

The card can be used as a frame for the receiver

First I cut out the vintage globe

Then cut it apart

Took another piece of paper and drew around the globe

Drew an inner circle and cut it out

Used strukturgel on the outside circle and on the bottom and top of the " globe"

The magnets go behind like you see on the picture, but first the clock part and spinners has to be put on

Used black soot distress ink

Spinners painted with black dabber

Metallic rub - ons on the spinners

used the colors the spinners are pointed at

Used the colors the spinners are pointed at and also a bit of the pink

Glue the out circle only on a bit on the side ( a bit under half )

Glued the clock and ball chain on with glossy accent

Now the spinners can be attach and the magnet put on the back side

Glue on a piece of paper and cut around

Cut out an other circle same size as the clock circle

Used tiny tabs and tags for the little tab

Glue the other magnet behind the " globe"

The circle tag can be placed under the outer circle

Here you can attach a gear

Card base

Cut a paper 3 1/2 x 9 and score at 4 1/2

fold over an glue the " globe" on from the bottom and up to the fold

Cut out and now it should look like this

For the back side I used Spellbinders foil and embossed it with gears embossing folder.

Painted it with black dabber. It makes the card more study

Marked it around and cut out a bit on the outside of the pen marks

Glued it on with glossy accent and cut around

Used the same metallic colors on the foil

Some gears for decoration. Some of them I painted with black dabber

This clips are great to use and you can find them in some hardware stores

Have a video tutorial for another clock card and the base is build up the same way

There is a magnet inside the circle and it can be taken off so the receiver can use this as a frame for photos

Inside the card. The magnet to hold the outside circle is hidden under the flower

Made an other . So fun :-)

Here i used the Vintage globe die 657832 from Tim Holtz to make a green card with the same paper collection. Spinners are from the Tick Tock die

Made a clock card with the same die. Cut out the bottom and glued it together again. Show how to in the video. The chain is punched out with EK Success chain punch and the numbers on the clock is a Martha Stewart punch.Also used - Distress Stickles Dry Glitter - Clear Rock Candy on the iamroses flowers

G45 French country mini album and bird cage

Had so fun making this bird cage and album with the beautiful French country papers from Graphic 45.

Did a lot of fussy cutting and sealed it with Claudine Hellmuth multi matte

The cover folds out and here is a lot of room for photos. Also some pockets from the paper line and cardstock cutouts

2. page. So fun fussy cut all the sunflowers :-)

There is i flip up on the right side and here i made a farm with a door that opens.

Used the pop n `cuts die from sizzix to make the door pop up

Here is a picture of the sun flower that is in the pocket on the left side. Here i can do some journaling or put in some photos

Chipboard Bird house tutorial

The chipboard is 1,9 mm thick .

You can glue 2 thinner together if you can`t find so thick chipboard

Drew a circle from a plate ( this is 7 inch ) an cut 3/4 strip chipoard

Hinge cut 1 1/4 score at 1/2 and cut on the 3/4 inn like the picture

Bend the chipboard arond the half circle and fasten with the hinge

It can help to wetting the chipboard to help it bend

Cut 2 strips at 12 x 3/4 and glue on the sides

1 strip fastened with hinge inside

Also hinges around outside to make it study

One more hinge inside

Use a strip of paper to mask inside where railing goes

Cut 12 x 1/4 strips chipboard and mark at 8

Glue them on where the marks are

Glue strip over at the 8 inch mark

Bend them in on the top

Cut of a bit off a 1 1/5 inch circle

Fasten the strips

Also one on the top to make it study and cover

Drew around for the door on the back

Fasten with hinges from Graphic 45

For the album i cut out 5 pages.

Drew around the bird cage and made it a bit smaller
The back page is 10 1/4 x 6 and then i went down 1/4 inch on each side and bottom for the next 4 pages.

The hinges are cut at 1 1/2 and score at 1/2 - 3/4 and 1 inch and folded like a W
Cut up a strip ( 1/4 ) as long as the hing and glued the hinge in between

And then fastened it on the back side of the previous page

Graphic 45 design team 2013 audition

Here is my submissions for the Graphic 45 design team call.

From the very first time I got my hands on the Graphic 45 papers, I fell in love. They are so special and fun to work with. I just love to fussy cut images and use them in different projects. I also love using their products to decorate my chipboard creations. There are endless possibilities with the Graphic 45 paper lines and products and I'm head over heels in love.... :-)

Making a bird house and mini album using the new French garden collection

So much fun and i am in fussy cut heaven :-)

Took some pictures when i made the bird cage and will post them and the measurements here on my blog when it is finish.

On the front cover i made a opening and fussy cut wire for a pocket

I use Claudine Helmuth multi matte on all the cut outs to make them solid

The front cover can fold out and i am making some fold outs here. Not finish yet lol

When i create mini albums i try to match the colors so they fit together.

Work a bit on each page as i get new ideas

Used one small and one large staples butterflies and painted them.

Place in time pop up 3 step card. So great to use this Place in time papers for cards and gifts :-)

45 Curtain Call Eiffel tower with 2 mini albums inside

Made of chipboard and have posted pictures and measurements for the tower here on my blog

The tower is in 3 parts

Under the 2 lowest there are mini albums hold with magnets

Inside one of the mini albums

Halloween in Wonderland puppet theater and mini album

Made from a corn flakes box

Used metal tags to hold the door closed with magnets placed on the side of the box

Curtains can be foldet together and place for the mini album inside

Created some open strips on the top to slide in different images to tell the story

This images are fastened on acetate strips and go inside from the top of the box

This is going behind to create different backgrounds. Never ending table with tea and flower pot

Made a steampunk hat with glasses. and i light bulb, filmstrip in a spool, flower pot from clay with gears and foliage,a little book and painted an used candle

Graphic 45 place in time Hanging calendar - mini album

Made this album with Kaiser craft yond the page sb 116 for the base

and Place in time from Graphic 45

This is a design team project for kreativscrapping and you can fin most of the products i used here

Here the album is hanging

January to June

The other side July to December

Pockets in all the pages with post cards for pictures or journaling

Here are some pictures how the May page is made

Used Sandal paint dabber around all the pages

Distressed around the paper and went over with Sandal paint dabber

Made hinges ( 1 inch and score at 1/2 ) side for pockets

Pockets made from strips and glued on cardstock. Folded the ends in and glued sides and bottom to the page

Claudine hellmuth multi matte is great to use to form a banner

Post card distressed with Tim Holtz distress tool. Painted around with Sandal paint dabber and inked with dusty concord. Cut out some tags and distressed with distress tool and ink.

Fun fast and easy to make :-)

New 3D pop up card - Tutorial

Design team project for kreativscrapping

Made this card with the beautiful Almas sewing room papers from Pion design

Made this card as a gift and have put in some sewing goodies for the receiver to use :-)

Here is a lot of dimensions and it pops up when the card opens

The umbrella die is from Marianne design

On the back side there are pockets with some tags to write a message and tags with seam binding, buttons, needles small sewing pieces and thread

The bench die is from Marianne design

Used seam binding to hold the card together

Here is a tutorial how i construct it

Cut 7 x 12 and score at 2 - 4 - 8 - 10

Fold like this

Here i glued on panels on each sides just to cover up the flowers

2 x 7

Decor strip cut at 10 and score at 2 - 3 1/2 - 6 1/2 - 8

Glue on the side flaps.

I used Claudine Hellmuth multi matte all over the strip to make it study and also glued it on with the same glue

Here you can use any size you like, but make sure that it not build up more than 1/2 inch on the inner side so the card will close.

Here i used 3/4 x 7 1/2

Score at 3 - 3 1/2 - 6 1/2 and 7

Just play and try what fits for your images :-)

Scor tape is strong and easy to use

Step 3 fold pop up card

The sewing machine inside pops up when the card open

On the back side of the card there is pace for some tags to journal ore put a picture on

Measurements for the card

Cut on the black lines and fold on the red lines

Here is how the card look like when it is folded

All characters and paper is lined with Zig pen and painted over with Claudine Hellmuth multi matte. Remember to dry good after lined with Zig pen. If you do not have time to wait , Ranger heater is nice to use. This is great to dry Multi mat with, but be careful not to glue begins to "bubble

The main panel is cut 6 x 3.5 inch. Marianne design garden bench can be glued down with multi mat. Nice and a damp cloth and wipe over with. Have used 3d foam / pop dots on multiple characters on the card

Here are some ideas to decorate the card

Glue on some paper strips to cover up he score marks and make the card more study

Pop up measurements inside the card

Cut out 2 1/4 x 1,5 inch

Scor 1/4 - 1/2 - 1 1/4 og 1 1/2

Glue together and take glue on the under and back side

Glue the image on the front of the pop up. Cheese cloth inside the sewing mashine

If you want to shape the characters glue on foil tape on the back before cut them

Decided to decorate the back also.. Place the card on top of the paper and trace around ( Easyer to do before the card is decorated lol)

Attach the tape across and cut about 3/4 from each edge across. Tape is on and reinforce the pocket .Glue behind, but remember to not glue in the pocket. Only around the edges and the top

Pion design gift paper bag

Fun to make and give away a decorated paper bag :-)

Here are some suggestions of what you need

After i cut out the shapes and strips I edged everything with black Zig pen, then I took Claudine Hellmuth multi matte on both sides and to make the paper steady and durable.

The lady in the picture is glued on the top and bottom and make room for tags

Filled the bag with assorted lace

Used Marianne Design creatable to cut out the doily. Used pion design paper and stapled in the top

Easy to use bow maker to create nice bows. Here i used seam binding

Glued foil tape on the back of flowers and butterflies before I cut them out. Then it is easy to shape in order to create some 3d effect

Distress glitter gives a nice effect . Painted multi matte random places and sorinkle glitter over.
Also used glitter on the doily and flowers

Glued chandelier behind the bow and a butterfly in front before I placed it on the bag

Tutorial - New 3D pop up cards with new papers from Graphic 45

Finally i got the new papers from G45 and i am in fussy cut heaven:-)

In this first card i used Secret garden

I lot of dimension going on here

All inside is placed on pop ups. Also the window from Memory box

On the backside there is a pocket with some tags i can write a message to the receiver

The branchs is from Memory box

Seam binding holds the card together

Had to use both paper pads so made another card with French country papers :-)

The fence is from Accucutcrafts and the label is from Marianne design

On the backside i used the new Cardstock Banners. Really love that G45 have made different cardstock images :-)

Cut out a frame and made it as a pocket. " tags inside to write message

Used paper trim to hold the card together

Some fussy cuts around he card

Here are the measurements for the card

Base 7 x 12 Score at 2 and 12

strips 5 x 1 score at 1/2 -1 1/2 - 3 1/2 - 4 1/2

Strip for wider card 7 x 1 score at 1/2 - 2 - 5 - 6 1/2

If you want a strip from the end to the other end cut 8 and score at 2 - 3 - 5 - 6 -

Pop up strip cut 8 and score at 3 - 3 3/4 - 6 3/4 - 7 1/2

Flip the base page and score at 4 and 8

Had so fun making this Lo with the gorgeous Secret garden papers from Graphic 45

Did a lot of fussy cutting and used Claudine Hellmuth multi matte on all small pieces

Used one small and one large staples butterflies and painted them

Layered with laces and seam binding

The Place in time paper collection is so fun to use for birthday cards and wrapping :-)

Here i used the May papers to make a step card and decorate a paper bag with some gifts

Inside i made a pop up with Memory box door die and made a pocket for some tags

The lamp post is from Cheery lynn

Here i decorated a paper bag and put some goodies inside :-)

Colored the seam binding with Lindystampgang spray

Had so fun making this card with Marianne design and Memory box dies :-)

Used Almas sewing room papers from Pion design and had so fun fussy cutting all the beautiful images.

The hous die is from Marianne design number CR1217

Cut it out 2 times and cut out the pink paper to get dimentional and depth.

Used white distress stain over the raised places on the die. ( This die an be distressed over as it lay on the paper :-)
