I am a bit worried with Arsene confidence in Almunia and Fabianski. After all the crumbling act towards end of 2009/2010 season and Fabianski nightmare performance, its difficult to digest when Arsene says we have top quality keeper. After all those years, i know that Arsene rarely blast him own players but enough is enough. Even the back four did not have the confidence in the ma between the stick, let alone the fan.

Joe Hart did start today against Sp*rs, leaving Given on the bench, at times clapping hands on Joe impressive performance.I love to see Given playing with us, hes a great keeper with lots of experiences and honestly its hard to see City let one of their keeper to us. They are chasing for glory this season and letting us one of their key player to us will not help them at all

Earlier today, Schwarzer has handed a transfer request to Mark Hughes.

We have yet to sign a solid and mean defensive midfielder which is a concern for me. Alex Song is great and improving from game to game but a signing in this department could provide more cover as well as competition to Song. "Natural" replacement, well currently, Denilson lacks defensive awareness, strength, too lazy to back track and if he does, it will in a slow mo, is more to Zidane type of player.

Another concern, keeper. We got worst goalkeeper in our history. Fabicuntski is the one that i dont like to see between the post. With zero confidence level and lacks authority, how can you expect us to win a game let alone win the league. Almunia certainly better than the later, but at times, he can be a lot worse that Fabicuntski.
Both fails to deliver consistency. Its either Joe Hart, Shay Given or Schwarzer, but all seems like a difficult deal to be done. So another season with Fabicuntski

Defensively, we get rid of the ackward signing, Silvestre, Sol goes to Newcastle, which i dont really care, Gallas with no club since he been released earlier and we bought Koschielny. We got 3 centre backs,with Djourou being the other one, who has not play for like one year? Another signing in this area would be crucial. Even now Djourou has been ruled out for the Liverpool game

I'm happy that we finally signed Chamakh, hes like Adebayor type, but better version, much for better. Imagine him with RvP and Arshavin playing together?

Alrite, that's it. I hope i can write all week this season and I am hating Barcelona now.

No disrespect on your judgment what so ever, have you seen enough? Points after points presented to the opposition team via our list of stupid goalkeepers? How many mistakes you want us to see? How many mistakes you want them to make then only you want to punish them?

Fabianski is not even close to good goalkeeper. He is just a mediocre championship goalkeeper. The nervousness is never ending. The Porto shambolic performance is enough for me not to give him anymore start. He don’t know the rule of the game, the concentration in pieces and he is a liability to us.

Dear Mr Wenger, I have seen enough, I have give him enough chances before I enroll him to my cunt list. He is an agent hired by I do know how, to destroy us. Monday is always a depressing day because its the first day of the week. A win at the weekend will usually hit me running on Monday, but not today.

A lot of it down to super cunt Howard Web. A booking each against Clichy and Song. And the best part, all of it at first attempt. How many attempt you want to give to another cunt in the making, Craig Gardner? Is he going to break somebody leg then only you want to take action?

This piece of shit is definitely public enemy number one for AAFB.

5: Team selection
With the title race as close as ever, and we are definitely in still in the race, you need to play our best eleven available. Fit players need to be played and there is no room for rotation, even if we going to play Barcelona next week. You got to play Samir Nasri and Andrei Arshavin full time. The team lacks motivation, sloppy passing and no creativity at all. Fabregas is struggling and you cant rely on Denilson.

4. Denilson
I am delighted to see him scored last week against West Ham, but the contribution tonight is super shambolic. He never look solid, woeful passing and he never provide us the competition than we need in the middle of the park. Even more, he cant compete with old man Lee Bowyer. Weak.

3. Tactical mentality
We got what we want somewhere in the 84th minutes. Practically and normally any team will just hang on on the lead, especially when you have only at max 9 minutes to play, play some possession football, do a bit of time wasting, walk the ball and etc but we have done? We brainlessly attack them and attack them but none of them as effective as we want. We still gave them possession and we paid the price. Fuck us. Fuck us hard. Woeful performance as a whole. No one played better tonight.

2. Manuel Almunia
Good keeper saves you 15 points per season. He saved us 3 points last week and but this week he gave away 2 points. The worst keeper I have ever saw wearing the Arsenal shirt. I simple punch will do but he put the ball to his own net. Dont you have any other place to punch the ball? Splendid. We got 2 stupid keeper. Mediocre keeper give you 4 or 5 performances per season, did Almunia give us enough?

Winners of the Liverpool vs Chelscum game will face either Barcelona or Bayern Munchen.We, on the other hand, will face Manchester United should us and them win this game.So there is a possibility of a 2006 repeat, us versus Barcelona.

It’s a good draw. At least, one English club will be dumped. I can’t understand why, almost every year, Liverpool will face Chelsea. And I can’t understand why Manchester United always got the weaker side. Why don’tthey get Barca instead?

Anyway, most of us might thing that this is going to be easy ride. I am the one to say this is a bit tough. Back 2006 we beat them only by one goal at Highbury and if not Jens Lehmann heroic save, we might lost the game. Spanish side, typically, produces an exciting brand of football. Identical to what we have now in the squad. The passing game looks similar as well as the objective, to win in style. These players also, intend to walk the ball pass the net. So its going to be a tough match, but not a boring one.

The draw will see Man Utd's reject Diego Forlan return to England. The legendary Robert Pires back to London and of course Pascal Cygan - who will teach Kolo Toure and Gallas to defend properly!

Phil Brown claimed that our captain did something bad to his assistant, spit. Yes spitting. This allegation strongly denied by the man himself. Why should we believe him instead or captain.

His just frustrated on the way we won the game. I can't deny it. 6 minutes to go, you are in the position for a replay match at KC Stadium then suddenly Gallas was there to head home the winner. I can understand that.

But to simply accused Cesc spitting his assistant was way to much. As as now, we have yet to see any respond from his assistant. Its a fantasy by Phil Brown.

Hello Gooners!

As usually, I missed to review the Hull Game in timely manner. It’s difficult to be “on the spot” nowadays. Recent financial situation and the AJIT project just driving me off from the track.

Anyway back to the Arsenal thingy. Yes we qualified to the next round, semi final of the FA Cup. Yes the second goal a bit controversy but you can’t blame the players is it? Don’t you think the last person who touches the ball was actually a Hull player? Yes? No?

As usual, we dominated the game, we created chances, good play but struggle to break their defences. To be honest, some of the tackles made by their players were at the highest quality, the timing was perfect and they are determined to beat us.
A deflected goal is so annoying to watch especially when your side is at the receiving end.

The tactic was simple. To defend right from the beginning up till the end. Scoring a goal in the first half was a bonus to them, an annual bonus that most of us craving at this time around. They got bonus, and try to hang on it, this includes time wasting and foul play every single time.
Second half was better than the first one. We seems to have to sense or urgency and you can see the determination to win. Song got the best chance to level the score. Inches wide. Inches wide.

It’s now just the matter of time. Couple of changes happened towards the end – we saw Bendtner and Nasri came on with Song and Vela out. Bendtner gave us other option upfront, yes hes a bit weak in term of finishing, but you can’t deny the progress he has made week in week out.

His determination to win the ball gave us the equalizer, under pressure Hull defender gave away possession (it seems a clearance) to Arshavin (from Russia with Love) who coolly squared the ball to Robin van Persie.

Six minutes to go. We got a free kick. Nasri took it. Bendtner challenges keeper, ball falls on Gallas head, and we scored. Gallas celebrated the goal full with passion.

Our position in the league looks pathetic, we should be running for the title instead, but there are 2 cups to be won. We are now in the Fa Cup semi final and the last 16 in Europe's finest competition. The draw (i think) will be done tomorrow. More update on that tomorrow.

Super.

As expected, we started without dreadful Robin v Persie, with lone striker Nicky Bentdner upfront. No Diaby, with Song came in and Djourou replacing William Gallas.

We started brightly when Theo Walcott cross met one of the Blackburn Rovers defenders, but Arshavin took credit on the goal. We dominated the game; I thought 87 percent, with Blackburn intention is to break our movement with those foul play and to continue to frust us, like everyone did. We can see from yellow card collected. Diouf in particular should be sent off after his fierce tackle on Almunia’s ankle. The pair confrontations continue throughout the game and the crowd boo-ing him every single second. He seems to enjoy it. Fuck off.

Later on Samir Nasri struck the post, it was a fierce free kick and nothing that Paul Robinson can do about it, and the post is at his side.
Towards the end, Sagna seems lack of focus, almost allowing Gamst Pedersen score the equalizing goal. Apart from the runs that he made throughout the game, there is nothing special. The crosses seems poor, the defending a bit week, and should us explore the possibility of resting Sagna and place Eboue back to his much more natural position?

The second goal was a super goal. It’s the best goal this season and its coming from Andrei Arshavin (From Russia with Love). After good work from Denilson (hes a Brazilian), Arshavin took the pass down the left, fooled Olson (wtf ) and delivers a fierce drive past Cunt Robinson. Good player always managed to get more time and calm in deciding actions to be taken. They have slow mo mode.

Bendtner should forget this game. He’s got at least 3 clear cut chances to score. All of them brilliantly wasted by the man himself. In term of finishing he’s a bit off but you can see his work rate and built up play continues to improve. Wenger can’t take it anymore, replacing Bendtner with Carlos Vela and at the same time, took off Theo Walcott and now enter two goals hero (this time around), Eboue.

He was at the right place, at the right time. After denying Arshavin perfect volley, he can’t do much on Eboue’s effort. You have to see the dance man, it’s hilarious. It’s difficult to hate this man and its difficult to love him as well.

Above all people, Eboue took a penalty after Carlos Vela being fouled.

Song and Denilson were outstanding. Well positioned and you can see the drive from the middle of the park. They don’t have the answer for Theo’s pace, and Bendtner’s hardwork should be rewarded by a goal.

We leapfrogged Aston Villa, by goal difference and again we are hoping for Miracle. You cant expect anything from Sp*rs but under these circumstances, we should place some faith on them. Buzz off.

New addition, but temporary, Eduardo - groin, during AS ROMA game. Wenger remains upbeat and classified this as "expected" - body adjustment after long lay off. Its not serious though.

Good development, Cesc Fabregas and Adebayor could be back after the international break - could be ready for the Manchester City game. Good to see him coming back. We lack creativity and he is the answer. Too much burden on Nasri, Denilson and Diaby.
Definitely the answer.

Nothing about Rosicky though. We dont have a specific return date and dont be suprise if he did not play a single game this season.

Yes we did it the hard way. I have to wait 3 hours plus to see us through and its not an easy game.

We did not play well throughout the game. The midfielders are not creative enough. Robin v Persie lost its touch, Sagna and Clichy continues delivering series of ineffective crosses.

The Romans lead at the 9th minutes, through Juan, who last couple of minutes seems to be injured, after both Gallas and Toure missed a cross. As usually, both of them look at each other as if they have communicated to each other who suppose to cut down the cross.

I can’t understand why Robin v Persie continues to play a lone striker when you cant see him contributing to the game. He’s not big enough and I thought he would be better use as a supporting striker. Yes Bendtner played well 1st leg at the right, but dont you suppose to change if it is obvious that the tactic used seems ineffective? The least is to rotate Bendtner and Robin.
When you can’t score from open play, you need to find an alternative i.e. set pieces, in which we have like 20 over corners and free kick. None of them a threat to the Romans, and the most interesting part is, their centre back was John Arne Riise. Yes Riise. Who mostly played on the left. And annoyingly, he played better than Robin!

It was not the type of European night that you expected.
Especially when the first kicker, Eduardo, failed from the spot. Luckily, Vucinic’s poor effort saved by Almunia. Although I did not have any faith in the team when it comes to Penalty Shootout, they did superbly. Starting from Robin up until Abou Diaby, all of them did superbly and calmly in front of the sell out Olympico crowd.

Its too late for a match report eh?

I missed the whole first half. Its hard to stay up late here in Malaysia, the game being aired at 345am and I need to face my f@ck up two face son of a b*tch boss in the morning.

Anyway, I started at 52nd minutes, and so glad to see us leading the Roman, given our current form and the struggle that we had for the past 3 league games. Shortly afterward Nicklas Bendtner, the man who claims he is the best striker, missed a 99 percent-you-should-score-a goal. Hes finishing was awful.

We scored from the spot, after Mexes's clumsy challenge against Robin.

We have few after chances to score, Eboue the boo boys miss a 100 ercent-you-should-score-a-goal, after a mistake by the opposition defenders. Instead of creating space for himself, he opted be adventurous and choose to be in a much more difficult angle. In the end, you can expect something good from him right? After all he playing because none of them available. No doubt he is originally a defender and in a way being forced to play much more attacking role in front of Sagna, but hes been playing there more then a season and from what I saw, its obvious that he is a liability to us.

The midfielders looks much more lively then those last weekend. Diaby has been instrumental in the middle along side Denilson. He is fast and a good runner with the ball. Sometimes yes. Sometimes no. And the best part is we have to substitute Diaby with Song due to injury. Should he stay on, we probably have more and more chances to score goal. Seriously.

Of course, all of us would like to see us winning comfortable with 2 or 3 or perhaps 100 goals margin, but at the end of the day, its all about away goals. We just have to go to Rome and score a goal. Thats it. But that time we should be able to play one season wonder Adebayor and Eduardo, Cesc probably available as well as Theo. We could have them all at the same time

Gallas continued to performed well with this partner, Kolo Toure, who once describing his relationship with Gallas is nonsense.

We just want to play European football. We could miss out next season campaign, so lets give this one hell of go !

I hate February.

I almost forget the taste of victory, winning games week in week out, now every team is difficult and thank god that we won the Cardiff's game in style. If not, I dont know what the heck happening to us.

I have to admit that we dont have a match winner in our team. We used to have it before, the last time we have it before February 2008. Everything looks beautiful with the accurate passing game and the goals being scored in a stylish manner. We seems to have few match winners in our squad, Fabregas is getting better and better, Adebayor scoring for fun, Robin scoring every week (before the injury) we have the support of Flamini, Hleb scoring one or two as well as Rosicky and Eduardo.

But now, Adebayor seems to forget how to score goals regularly (hes just arrogant and he have to admit hes a one season wonder), the burden is too much on van Persie's shoulder, the injury list regularly being updated each and every week, (the latest addition Eduardo), Diaby played a game or two then checked in to the treatment room, Theo is out for like 3 years and it seems like Rosicky will not play a game with us anymore.

When you looking for inspiration, a change in a game, when you need something a bit like magic, when the 11 players on field looks struggling, and at that time you looking for alternative i.e to the bench and you have Eboue, you cant blame anyone for it. You cant change the direction of the game, you cant win a game, you are destined to loss or draw. We dont have these kind of people in our team.

You cant blame Song and Denilson, they both not that flair type of players who easily can dribbles through defences. They just an ordinary midfielders, who most of the time produce square passes across the pitch, the vision is so obvious because they are not creative players. The last time we have two defensive midfielders when Patrick Vieira and Gilberto in our squad. Yes, its awkward to compare the likes of Denilson and Song with Vieira, but the drive to win is not there. There is no sense of urgency, we are no longer the best counter attackers. 19 teams in the league will have the same approach against us because its not rocket science to read our game plan.

Sunday should be the best day of the week. I'm sad leaving Sunday behind.

To be honest I'm preparing myself to much more bad result. I am expecting Arsenal losing to Sunderland. In the end, I am wrong and I am not disappointed with the result. I probably would if the game played in November, but I am glad. A draw is not as bad as losing all three points eh Robin?

What seems to be the challenge now is to score a goal. A goal. Its not difficult scoring 4 past Cardiff and I can understand why, because we have Eduardo back or is it because its only Cardiff - a non "Premier" team expecting a shock result?

I am tried watching Bendtner playing for us. Dont get me wrong, its not that I dont like him at all, I love watching him come as a substitute an scoring goals, but he is a total awkward footballer when he plays 90 minutes of football. Hes control was poor, he cant dribble, sometimes he can head the ball very well sometimes he cant, he cant shield the ball, he cant shoot he cant this and that.

Last night we have tons of crosses from Bacary Sagna but none of them a threat to Sunderland. Its small pace crosses and I have to admit you cant score when the crosses came in like a flying balloon. You cant get the pace. You cant expect anything. Gibbs got one cross and its a beautiful cross. Please learn from him

Arshavin made his long awaited debut and he looks promising. I am thinking of saying goodbye to Eboue or Bendtner. ( I have sold Eboue to Real Madrid and looking for a buyer - Bendtner in my FM2009.)
