Cinemas In Japan & 2012 Movies Review

I want to see what kind of Japanese cinema because since I stayed in Japan I've never been going to the cinemas. Therefore this weekend me and some of my friends spent the saturday night with watching movies. Movies that we saw is 2012, a movies that tells of the world will ends in year 2012. In Indonesia my friend said this movies is booming, everyday the ticket is sold out. So to anticipate the possibility of the same condition I told friends to buy tickets 3 hours before starting, but it's normal here. My friend said there was little difference between Japan and Indonesia. In Japan generaly the ticket divided into 3 groups:

1. for children ￥1400.　2. Student ￥1600. 3. Adult ￥1800. While in Indonesia, all groups was no difference in price. More over the movies divided into 2 parts: 1. The movies With Dubbing in japanese. 2. The movies with subtitle japanese. I think this division may be intended because not all Japanese people can read kanji so the movie was dubbing.

after we went into the cinema room, disappointment appeared immediately, because the movie screen and the sound was not great and not as cool as I imagined. Small screen and the voice sounded just the front. But it was only the beginning, after the movie started, the screen was raised, and a voice that sounded more assured, very really a true theater. For seating and room temperature, no problem, soft and comfortable.

About 2012

I enjoyed the movies till end, I like the visual effect. But not with my friends, they felt a sleep in the middle. They were a little disappointed with the plot. They imagine, if the Resurrection occurred, then the earth will be destroyed not left. But in this movie they can make super-sophisticated ships and very strong against shocks. The plot is almost similar to the story of Noah. Where people of Noah very stubborn, refusing to acknowledge God. So that their punishment in the form of a great flood. But Noah and his followers survived, because they make a big ship. And tha... I think in the reality no one knows, when the end will occur. The Resurrection is the secret of God. Ow... by the way The movie is brought by TOHO cinemas, if in Indonesia same as 21 Cineplex. Ok so that's my experince with Japan cinemas.

First time I bought edamame in the mini market, but there is also restaurant which provides edamame as the food menu. People here said, edamame is delicious. After Jum'ah prayer, I feel hungry. Me and Hiro going to ZaZa City in Hamamatsu, looking for some food to eat and found this Kebab Turkey. The outlets is not too big but comfortable. Open everyday from 10AM-8PM. For muslim do not worry this Kebab is Halal.

There are various Kebab with 2 main flavor, chicken and beef. Click here to view the menu. Me and Hiro choose Pita Big Kebab, the biggest Kebab. I ask the servant and he said this Kebab made from bread flour. In it were given various kinds of vegetables like tomattos, cabbage, cucumber and many more, not forget to add mayonase and spicy, so more tasty.

For me this Kebab is delicious, large size plus the color of tomatoes and other vegetables to make saliva swallowed several times. When eaten it is felt the beef and the vegetable, spicy and quite tasty too. But for Hiro spicy taste less "I think plus sambal ABC so much better, ha ha ha."

It's 2 times already I spent Eid Fitr far from the family, no event of Sungkeman, eating ketupat and lebaran's cookies. If I check facebook sometimes feel envious look at the status of my friends "was OTW to Bandung" or "Way back to Malang ..-fried Duck Ariel.. waiting.. qiqiqi" hiks-hiks so sad!

Apparently I was not alone, many of my friends here in the same boat with me, not "berlebaran" at home. Finally I understand one of the philosophy of life, my friend who said that "Sometimes things become very valuable as far from our lives" What "things" was? It depends on our own interpretation.

Brother's & Sister's how are you? For several days I was not blogging, until not seem Ramadan this year to be over. Hopefully our fasting and worship is better than Ramadan last year.

G.A.O Culture

Each region or country has its own culture. Literally culture is unwritten law which applicable in the community. As long I stay in Japan there is one of culture language which is inherent in the community and it's flourished from one generation to another. I called it "GAO Culture".

GAO is acronym from word Gomen, Arigato and Onegai. Each of word have meaning: gomen mean sorry/pardon, arigato mean thank you, and onegai mean please. These words are often used by Japanese society when conversing with each other.

Maybe for some people, especially foreigner seem so strange to said these words. But if you often using these words in conversation you can valued have a nice attitude.

If you traveling to Japan do not forget to eat sashimi. Maybe some people do not know what it sashimi. According to Wikipedia, Sashimi (刺身) is a Japanese delicacy primarily consisting of very fresh raw seafood, sliced into thin pieces about 2.5cm (1") wide by 4cm (1.5") long by 0.5cm (0.2") thick, but dimensions vary depending on the type of item and chef.

So many kinds of sashimi, I most often eat Maguro sashimi. Less than almost 2 year stay in Japan, shoes that I use is outdated. I decided buying a new shoes while shopping. I was looking a shoes that can be used anywhere or casual shoes. It seems the choice fell on Converse shoes. When I try to use, it's convenient and comfortable on leg and not heavy when lifted.

There is little interesting story here, Indonesian people have a habit always see which country-made it. I was shocked because it was made from Indonesia and the price is also quite high. so far Japan imported footwear from Indonesia.

I purposely speed up lunch then prayers because I was curious about my friend 'Chago', who is from Brazil. After dinner he always went to the park. What was he did in there?

I was shocked and surprised seeing he was playing football with his friends. While the others resting to calm the body or chatting on Restroom, he just playing football. Someday I ask him "why do you playing football everyday?" He just answered "if I did not playing football just one day, live on less meaning." From there I have a conclusion, Brazilian are crazy playing football. Ball like a food for them.

Newly arrived from Nagoya my stomach is empty. It's time for lunch I think, because it was 13:00. Me and my cousin Hiro, looking a near restaurant then ordered a variety of food. Surely Japan's food paradise. At that time I do not know if in Japan many foods should not be eaten by islamic people. The trip to Osaka from Hamamatsu approximately 5 hours and arrived in Osaka at 11 pm. We went straight to the hotel near station because it was late, stayed at the Hotel Six. The hotel is very nice and practically sophisticated in my opinion. Tomorrow morning we went to Universal Studios. We bought the cheapest ticket, for one day. The situation there is very full with people. In the end we can only take 2 attractions, because the long queues. Hollywood Jet Coaster and Terminator 2 with 3D but we really enjoyed it. Me and my friends bought some souvenirs and not forget to take a photograph and in the evening we went home.

Someday Im going to department store looking for a backpacks, because my old bag is not suitable to be used. The rope broke because of stuck, and the material rotted with age, although only 1 year ago I bought it. Looking for a new bag that fits you, not as easy as I imagined. I chose the black color because it looks cool. But and most importantly the price fits my budget.

Miss universe 2009

Miss universe 2009 has ended one week ago (August 23). Universal queen festival held at Nassau City, Bahama. Followed by 85 contestants from all countries including Indonesia. Miss Indonesia, represented by Zivanna Siregar who became Miss Indonesia in 2008. But unfortunately, Zivanna can not win the contest, although the internet polls she got the highest rating.

Miss Venezuela Stefania Fernandez won the contest, defeating Ada Aimee de la Cruz, from the Dominican Republic. Fernandez crowned by Dayana Mendoza, she is Miss Universe 2008 from Venezuela. Until now Venezuela had twice win the contest. "What happened to Miss Indonesia? She was well and truly the favorite to win! Something political? Or maybe Ms Siregar has been a naughty girl?!" What do u think about that?

A few months ago, I was on vacation in Indonesia. From Japan using Korean Airlines. Korean Air is the name of South Korean Airlines. Its international passenger division and related subsidiary cargo division together serve 130 cities in 45 countries. I choose it because the price is competitive with other airlines.

Initially I was hesitant with this airlines because it had never previously but after know it is among the top 20 airlines in the world airlines, my doubts gradually began to disappear. I grew confident when I saw the flight attendant service from a very satisfactory. Same as motto is 'excellent in flight'. I finally got to the Indonesia safely after flying less than 7 hours and 2 hours of transit at Incheon airport seoul.
