Setting up these websites is easy and you go out and research which applications will work together and dream of openAPI coming to fruition one day so you don't need to pick and chose because of what integrates with what but which product is actually the best fit for you.

I've had to let go of the connection between applications (messengers, blogs, social networks etc.) and the way I interact with them.. Similar to moving all my media and data onto a file server and utilizing laptops, blackberrys, desktops and the web for computing.

Irrational fears about the 1984 implications of wink.com have dwindled as I return from an end of 2007 flee to the caves.

Unsure about feelings on privacy issues and sharing contact info etc. still but I've noticed my online behavior mimicking my offline life. As I get out of the house and live more of an active life, I replicate the process in the Matrix. Strange.. been dealing with issues of internet time vs. playing in the park but turned out all along I was just not contributing to society in any world.
