Next Saturday, an homage Uk’ux Kaj, Heart of the World, and Uk’ux Ulew “Heart of the World,”, the two pillars of Maya’s beliefs and traditions.

The audience is welcome to participate and to present wishes in the middle of a magic circle, a place made sacred by gifts, rituals but above all music and beats.

On sunday an Aztec Glyph Ceremony will be performed with an Aztec traditional ensemble.

The Aztec glyph ceremony, also known as New Fire ceremony (in Nahuatl xiuhmolpilli—the Binding of the Years) was an Aztec ceremony performed once every 52 years — a full cycle of the Aztec calendar— in order to stave off the end of the world.
