I joined BookMooch last month and have successfully sent 3 books locally (Philippines). I sent a book to the United States through PhilPost a few days ago and hopefully it will get there safely. Today I’m waiting for Xend Express to pick up four parcels — 2 to be sent to Finland, 1 to the United Kingdom, and 1 to Makati (local). The first three are BookMooch books, the last is a bunch of W.I.T.C.H. comics I sold on eBay.

To Finland:

- Tolkien: A Look Behind “The Lord of the Rings” by Lyn Carter

To the United Kingdom:

- Drowned Ammet (Dalemark Quartet) by Diana Wynne Jones

EDIT, 09:40 PM: The international rates were far too expensive so I just had the local parcels shipped. Oh well… Maybe next month. I really want to send off these mooches.

*NOTE: My dad still has my DSLR so I have to make do with my phone’s camera.

My gift for Jim's 25th birthday (2008/09/21)

I wanted to give Jim something special for his birthday…something that would show him how much he means to me in not so many words. I was hoping to finish it before today but I can only draw for short periods of time (my fingers cramp up really bad, really fast). :( I plan to finish it SOON then have it mounted and framed before his next visit. ;)
