Handel's Messiah – 1741 [full length]

Composed by George Frideric Handel in 1741 over a brief 24-day period (260 pages), the correct title is simply "Messiah". It is an oratorio. Acclaimed through the centuries as the greatest musical composition ever written, the term 'inspired' has often been suggested in attempting to describe the work. Whether that be the case or not, certainly no greater subject matter were ever possible than that of this 'oratorio'. Written with the inspired Word of God from the King James Bible, it is a presentation of the Saviour of the world, the Lord Jesus Christ, from the prophecies that went before, to His coming triumphant reign of heaven and earth. On the bottom of the manuscript Handel wrote "SDG" — Soli Deo Gloria, "To God alone the glory". Upon finishing the Alleluia chorus -- end of part II, Handel is said to have exclaimed "I did think I did see all Heaven before me and the great God himself!” In three parts:

All Cars Sold in the EU Now Require a Camera Aimed at Your Face -- Takes Effect July 7, 2026

Starting July 7, 2026, every new car sold in the European Union must include a driver monitoring camera aimed at your face. Glance at your phone, your kids in the back seat, or the radio for too long, and the car will flash a warning light and sound an alert.

The system is called Advanced Driver Distraction Warning, or ADDW. A small infrared camera near the steering wheel or dashboard tracks where your eyes point. Look away from the road for more than 3.5 seconds at highway speed, or six seconds at slower speeds, and the car warns you with some combination of a light, a sound, or a vibration. It switches on automatically above about 20 km/h (12 mph), and it cannot be permanently turned off.

The new ADDW system was tested by Gocar.be, a leading online automotive platform in Belgium, in its Xpeng P7+. They found it fires on ordinary driving, not just distracted driving. Glance away from an empty highway to take in the scenery, or look at the infotainment screen to change a song, and the warning goes off anyway.

While it’s theoretically possible to manually switch off the ADDW system, Gocar.be found that it’s automatically reactivated if it detects any problematic viewing behavior. This means that, in essence, it can never truly be switched off and keeps monitoring the driver at all times. [see full article at link]

House blocks vote to halt US-'Israel' military integration

A House committee has blocked a bipartisan attempt to force a public vote on an amendment that sought to remove a controversial defense provision critics say would bind the US and Israeli military-industrial systems more deeply than ever.

Previously referred to as Section 224 and later identified by supporters as Section 219, it would create a Defense Department executive agent tasked with advancing defense technology cooperation between Washington and Tel Aviv, including weapons production, industrial coordination, technology sharing, and what the provision describes as “data fusion"... the House Rules Committee declined to clear the amendment for debate and a vote before the full House..

Most eschatological interpretations concede the concept of a "rapture". The scriptures describing a rapture at some point in time are very clear and really not possible to explain away. The dispute on the subject is not about 'if' the doctrine of the rapture is the correct interpretation of scripture, but is entirely about the timing of it. Not 'if', but 'when', is the point of the endless contention that surrounds the topic.

Each of the various views have their own specific interpretations to 'prove' that it is the correct one. The purpose of this study though is not to sort through all the differences of the various interpretations, but just to address one of the most important topics with regard to determining the correct timing of the rapture. That topic is the "last trump" of 1st Corinthians 15:52. Opponents of the pretribulation rapture commonly use this verse citing the "last trump" as proof that the 'pretrib' interpretation is false.

What exactly then is the 'last trump'? What is to be understood by the term? What bearing does the 1st Corinthians 15:52 'last trump' have on either proving or disproving the pretribulation position? Or, is the actual significance of the "Last Trump" something else altogether?

The would-be world conquering Jewish Zionists are growing ever more restless to remove all hindrances to finally achieving their misconstrued ancient goal of setting a king on a throne in the city of Jerusalem from which to reign as lords over the lower classes of humanity and rule the planet with an iron fist. Problem is that this 'kingdom-come' now under construction is been pieced together without a "sure foundation". It has been constructed on a faulty foundation. The foundation is faulty because the proper "corner stone" is missing, having been rejected by the builders, the Jews, some 2000 yrs. ago. The Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ is of course this "stone". He alone is the "tried stone" [Acts 3:18], who, being tried, was proven to be the "precious corner stone" [1Peter 2:4,6†]; that very "stone which the builders rejected" [Matt. 21:42 (Ps. 118:22-23); Luke 20:17].

Until the Lord GOD Almighty Himself lays this "corner stone" in Zion; a reference to the physical return of the Lord Jesus Christ to rightfully rule and reign upon the earth [Rev. 19:15], which will not happen until the very serious issue of the rejection and the crucifixion of the Son of God has been settled [Matt. 27:22,25]; any other attempt to establish 'Zion' (city of God) will be "in haste". (Acts 2:36; 4:11)

And that very serious issue of the rejection and crucifixion of the Son of God, the Lord Jesus Christ, absolutely can not be settled apart from justice by way of judgment [Isa. 1:27] - the period of time known in the Word of God as The Tribulation. As it is written, and we believe, only after the Jews are brought by that horrible time of tribulation to an admission of guilt leading to true repentance [Hosea 5:15; Matt. 23:37,38-39; Zech. 12:10] can they be restored in right relationship to God, who will then himself usher in the true 'Kingdom of Zion'.

Isaiah the prophet, speaking for the Lord GOD said..."he that believeth shall not make haste", meaning that true believers will wait patiently until the Lord God Himself lays the one and only "precious corner stone" for the building of this true Zion [Ps. 2:6,10; 102:16]. Again, this is a reference to the return of the Lord Jesus Christ to build the Kingdom himself "without hands" [Dan. 2:44,45]; that is, nothing of men. Without this 'corner stone', whatever is now built or being built will be out of plumb and out of square, which is to say that it will be hopelessly crooked [Micah 3:10].

The events transpiring in the world today to build a one world government are "in haste". There will be one that will come though, and will seek to establish himself on the throne of the 'hasty Zion' the Jews are trumpeting here, but that one will prove to be an impostor, an 'untried stone', a faulty foundation.

This false messiah, this Jewish impostor who takes that throne, will be a king though...a king of fierce countenance...proving himself to not be the precious cornerstone, but the biblical 'Anti'-christ (Dan. 8:23,24,25). This is the teaching of scripture.

This world is hopelessly crooked, and being made more crooked than ever now, purposely. And the simple fact is that there is only one way this world can ever be put right. It will never happen otherwise. That one way is at the return of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Isaiah 40:4 is bible prophecy speaking to this event - at which time:

Isaiah 40:4 'Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain'

Mountains and hills made low speaks of what will be done with the corrupt and godless kingdoms of men; valleys exalted speaks of the fulfillment of another prophecy - when the "meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace" [Ps. 37:11]

Not everybody believes bible prophecy. Makes no difference. As the next verse (Isaiah 40:5) declares .. 'for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it':

(5) 'And the glory of the LORD shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it" - Isa. 40:5

Note: Isaiah 40:4-5 refers to the '2nd coming' of the Lord Jesus Christ. The glory of the LORD will be seen then by all the world. This was not the case at the first advent of the Saviour Jesus when the "princes of the world...crucified the Lord of glory" - 1Cor. 2:8. At his second advent every eye shall see it - Rev. 1:7. The 'rapture' of the church is not considered here. The 'rapture' is before, the '2nd coming' is after, the 'time of tribulation' [Matt. 24:21]. The meek that will inherit the earth is not the NT church. This primarily refers to an elect remnant of Jews whom the LORD shall bring through to be, as the Word of God teaches, the beginning of a converted Israel - Isaiah 65:9; as well to those among the nations whom the LORD shall preserve alive through this time of Jacob's trouble - Matt. 25:31-34. To these belong an earthly inheritance. The NT church has not been called to an earthly inheritance but to a heavenly - Eph. 2:4-6, Hebrews 3:1. It's a one-time chance for the heavenly inheritance. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ.

The Hope Of The Christian Is Christ Himself

The teaching of the book of Revelation, above all, is, that the Lord is coming back, and that He is coming back for His people ﬁrst [1 Thes. 1:8-10], and then to set the earth right. I know that the general thought abroad is, that when the Lord comes back, the next time, it is for the purpose of judging the world. There is no doubt He will judge [Malachi 4:1]. There is no doubt that the return of the Lord Jesus to deal with the earth is perfectly certain [Rev. 19:11]; but...that is not the Christian hope...the Christian hope relates to heaven [Eph. 2:5-6].

I repeat, then, that the hope of the Christian is not the earth being set right,—although, thank God, it will be set right,—but the hope of the Christian is Christ Himself [Titus 2:13], and Christ as coming for His blood bought people [Acts 20:28]. Why have we the Lord presenting Himself to us as the “Bright and Morning Star” in Rev. xxii. 16? Every person understands what the morning star is. It is not daylight. You never saw a man wakened up in the morning by the morning star. You must get up early to see the morning star. What wakes people up in the morning is the sunlight,—-it is daylight. What you have in this passage is that the hope of the Christian is Christ, now known in heaven as the Saviour, and as the One who is coming back for His own people, and the manner of our going up to be with Him is most blessed [1Thes. 4:16-18]. The Morning Star is Christ for the watching Christian [Phil. 3:20], while the world is buried in slumber.

What is the way in which the Lord Jesus Christ comes? "In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye" [1 Cor. 15:51-52]*. Will the world see, or be aware of that coming? I do not think so. The coming of the Saviour, as the Bridegroom, is for the bride, it is for the saved [Matt. 25:8-10] — His own beloved people.
