Goldstone challenges US over Gaza report

The United States has criticised the Goldstone report into Israel's war on Gaza, calling it one-sided.

In an interview with Al Jazeera's Shihab Rattansi, Justice Richard Goldstone challenged the US government to justify its claims that his findings are flawed and biased.

Goldstone said the attacks on him have become personal and he believes most critics have not even read the report.

A story of a young Iraqi who became one of the Iraqi resistance. The story reflects the suffering of a nation that resists the American Occupation for Independance & living with dignity.

Dr. Juergen Todenhoefer, a german litterateur, went to Iraq to shed the light on the suffering of Iraqi people under the American Occupation and met with people from the Iraqi Resistance.

He lived with them and learned about their lives. He met Zaid, the young guy who lost most of his family members, and then he decided to join the Iraqi Resistance. They're mostly Sunni.

Dr. Todenhoefer shed the light on the truth of what's happening in Iraq, horrible crimes are committed everyday by the US army forces so he can clarify to the world how different the western media is from the truth.

Dr. Todenhoefer wants to give the truth a chance and wants justice for the suffering of the Iraqi.

The Palestinian people are experiencing their fortieth year of military occupation. The siege by the Israeli army and the economic blockade have devastated their daily lives so that 'normal' life is impossible.

Israel operates an entrenched system of racial Apartheid against its own non-Jewish inhabitants and has been illegally occupying Palestinian land in the West Bank, Gaza Strip, East Jerusalem and the Golan Heights since 1967. It has sought to further annex these lands and has systematically transferred its own civilian population into these occupied territories in contravention of international law. Israel continues to build the illegal Apartheid wall, annexing vast swathes of Palestinian land in the West Bank and creating Palestinian ghettos, despite the ruling of the International Court of Justice that it is illegal.

The International Academy of Art Palestine (The Academy) is an institution-building project which aims to develop a higher education facility specialized in the arts. The Academy aspires to be an autonomous, distinctive and professional institution, granting Bachelor of Arts degrees in Contemporary Visual Arts and, eventually, Master level degrees for future artists. The Academy will strengthen artistic development and communication by ensuring the sustainability of the Palestinian arts and culture sector.

The basic mission in establishing an academy of art is to tap into the creative side of the mind and foster creativity, originality, alternative thinking, and productivity while creating a space for freedom of expression.

The Academy is essentially a Palestinian venture that is anchored in its own culture to maintain the collective Palestinian memory, history and cultural identity.
