Ronan looking really cute, even though he is a little grumpy since he is sleepy :) We were up watching the UFC last night so we didn't get up until about 2 o clock in the afternoon but when I saw how sunny it was I hopped out of bed and had to just be outside!

I'm overjoyed with how amazing the weather is getting in Dublin right now, it makes a huge difference in everyones mood since we are so used to grey rainy days, but after that horrible winter we had, we deserve a bit of sun!

I got my top top in a second hand shop for two euro! I think I'm just going to always shop in charity shops now, the other day I got four nice things for 9euro. You can't beat a bargain like that! However I always noticed that charity shops in town are way more expensive, so I will stick to my small town charity shops :)

I'm really looking forward to Irelands Most Influential in Fashion awards this coming thursday, I have my outfit planned, and I know what I'm going to do with my hair, but I don't know what to do with my make up! Anyone wanna give me some help with deciding?? :)

As you guys can see I have a few different little things going on and a new thing I’m exited about is my ”Stuff I Like” section, where I will be doing interviews with great bloggers/stylists/photographers etc etc, and will be picking my favourite looks from Lookbook.nu monthly I will also be going into Dublin City and taking street style photos of people who I think are looking damn good! So I’m really exited about my new site being an interactive one!

Love Cheap Clothes :)

There is nothing better than finding something beautiful in a charity shop - and for only 4euro :) I got this top in a small charity shop in Dun Laoghaire, where I actually did work experience when I was in 4th year in school :)

I love finding stuff like this! Its an 80s Tshirt with shoulder pads, and its a size XXL ;)

I am really into the baggy Tshirt and skinny jeans vibe right now (well - jeggings) Its very relaxed and hardly any effort is involved :)

My ring however was a small fortune of 50 something pounds. But It was a treat to myself for staying off the smokes, I'm off them two months now!! I have to say quitting smoking is probably one of the hardest things I've ever done, and I really hope I stay off them.

Today was a really beautiful day, I'm so happy its finally coming into spring/summer here in Dublin, everyone seemed in such a good mood in town, its so lovely to see :)

oh and heres a picture I took of my cat jayjay sleeping. He is my baby <3

Make Up Tutorial!

Hey guys!! So I've finally make a video make up tutorial, and its so freaking long and in two segments because I did it on my own and had no idea what I was doing so I apologize IN ADVANCE at how terrible the video is.

Next time I will get someone who is good with this sorta stuff to help me out and make it better!

So since it is my first, I hope you guys take it easy on me :)

There are so many mistakes, AND i forgot to powder myself at the end or even use highlighter on my cheeks! eep!

New Blog!

Hello! I am waaaaaay too exited, my new website will be up and running by next week and I just had a look at what it will look like, and it's fab :)

Unfortunately I will not longer be using blogspot after this week so to everyone who follows me, thank you sooooo much, and I hope to see you guys over at my new site when it has launched :)

I have LOADS more planned for my new blog to make it more interesting and I will try to post at least once a day eventually. :)

I actually can't wait til I can show you guys!!! And i will need all the feedback I can get too :)

Feathers & Skulls

So I'm just back from London, and currently hiding in my room from the outside world as today is St Patricks Day. (I hate it - seeing as I'm not much of a drinker, the thought of being in town surrounded by drunken pre-teens screaming and dancing all day is hell)

So I brought my portfolio around but I didn't have as much time as I wanted and only got to see three agencies, who all said I had a good luck but I was simply too short to be considered.

Its a blow and hard not to take personally (being rejected for how you look isn't the nicest feeling!) but its not the end of the world - I'm not right for their agency but I will be for someone else :)

So - a bit of retail therapy :)

Can't wait for summer!!

This was my sunday outfit :)

I'm too happy about the light these days, too exited about summer!

I'm off to London on Saturday, right after i graduate from LA Make Up (8 weeks has FLOWN by!) to see my beautiful friend Alessia and to give my portfolio to anyone who will give me some time of day :)

I know I'm setting myself up for some disappointment, but fuck it, I'm not waiting around for things to happen anymore,

if you want your dreams to come true, i guess you just have to go for it and make your own luck!

Now, I know I'm crazy late and I said I would do a make up tutorial, and I WILL! i promise, hopefully before or after I go to London.

I'm also in the process of moving my whole blog over to wordpress, so perhaps I will do some videos for the launch of it :)

Oh - and this outfit is fairly cheap!

Baby I was Born This Way

I wore this on Saturday, it was a pretty dull day but it's getting alot warmer (sort of!) in Ireland.

My shorts & my top are from H&M, I am totally digging these really baggy tops right now. I always buy them coming up to summer, which I reallllyy can't wait for!

I have so many plans for this summer but I havn't actually booked anything! I want to do something really fun and different, do any of you guys have any advice/tips on where I should go??

Maxi Skirt

Finally! A sunny day! Ireland can be really beautiful when the sun shines, it seems to lift everyone's spirits, since it seems to be such a rare occasion... But I'm delighted its finally coming into spring/summer so we can finally shed some layers!

I'm wearing a maxi skirt from Bershka, and my top is from H&M. Also, my little faux fringe is becoming a new favourite accessory of mine :)

Here is a small sample of the shoot I did in December with the amazingly talented Ewa Danowska, she is by far one of my favourite photographers ever, she is so talented and I always have so much fun shooting with her! All these clothes were designed and made by the very talented Niamh Raffery.

There are fourteen photos in total and I didn't want to upload all of them in one go, so I will post the rest again soon :)

I am over the moon with these photos, I adore the styling and I can't wait to put them in my book asap!

Illusions pt.2 - the faux fringe

Another fantastic hair piece that I got from the amazing Hairspray. (I'm also wearing the 'scrunchie' from hairspray alongside the fringy!)

I used to have a fringe, and my hair is too thin to really keep one, it was really pathetic looking and it only looks good if its really nice and full looking (which mine wasn't), so this little clip in fringe is perfect if you have crap hair like me!

It was about 15 euro, and I think its great for anyone thinking of getting a fringe, just pop one of these on first to see how you feel with it before you leap in and cut off a big chunk of your hair, because it takes forever to grow it out (like I'm trying to do now)

I also get bored very easily with my ''hair'' so this is something new and nice to mess around with, fringe today, gone tomorrow.

Another two second wonder.

I seriously love Hairspray!

I absolutley love this dress and it was so cheap - and it fits like a dream.

Primark has really stepped up their game in the last couple of months, and its fantasic, since we can't all afford high street buys right now!

I said I would do a make up tutorial, but it might be another week or so because my skin is getting quite bad with the make up course I'm doing, But I promise I'll do it asap!

Denim On Denim

So I love, and think its quite funny, how denim on denim has made a come back.

When I was about 10/11 I used to love my denim jacket (that had a zip instead of buttons - it was awesome) and I used to wear it all the time, with my jeans (flared - usually had flower patterns at the bottom + flowery Dr.Martins) and people used to make fun of me, saying i was wearing too much denim.

Who knew that 10 years from then it would actually be acceptable to wear?

I have had this denim shirt locked away in the back of the wardrobe for god knows how long, and the shorts are some I got in topshop one day when I was in a hurry and got them in the wrong size (bloody american sizes! why can't we just have S/M/L?) so they are two sizes too big, but i adore the colour of them and don't mind that they are rather big on me.

My belt, is the belt I wear with literally EVERYTHING - from Urban Outfitters.

Its one of my best buys, because it really does complete nearly all my outfits.

and last but not least - my tights are from Primark! woop for cheap tights!

I am wearing a Mac lipstick called Costa Chic, its my new favourite. I like to wear it nearly everyday it really is just so lovely and really brightens up the face, I think coral colours suit practically all skin tones so would look great on everyone, but I must say I ADORE it right now.

I have had a few emails from people asking about how I do my make up etc, and was wondering would you guys like me to do a make up tutorial?

I wouldn't be doing anything too mad, just showing you guys how I wear my make up for day to day stuff and more full on (like the look above) for photographs!

Be My Valentine.

This is a photo I took with a self timer of yours truely and my wonderful Ronan a while ago,

but thought I'd save it til now for Valentines day and all :)

I'm very annoyed, Ronan has an exam tomorrow (valentines day) from 6:30 - 8pm

Who is the genius who came up with that time for an exam - it's dinner time!!

But we will still make the most of it.

I want to dedicate this post to how amazing Ronan is.

Ronan and I met little over three years ago and began dating almost immediately. We just clicked, and everything felt comfortable. We met when I was seventeen, and Ronan was 22. Since Ronan was older, I automatically thought he was the coolest guy I've ever met :)

I thought he was also the hottest guy I'd seen, and felt so lucky to be with someone like him, and knowing he felt the same about me was just overwhelming.

We were inseparable from the moment we met, every spare minute we got we spent it together.

Like all couples however, we had/have our problems. We have been through a lot together & as induviduals and have broken up countless times.

But this has made us so much stronger. We have grown together as a couple and on our own, and only god knows what kind of people we would be if we didn't find each other.

(this is an old photo I love, We both had loads of hair then!)

Ronan is the most interesting, funniest, loving, generous person I've ever met,

I love our shared love for kittens and cats, I love his grumpy face in the mornings, I love the way he touches my face & I love his smile most of all.

I still look at him and think he's the hottest bloke I've ever seen and I just want to kiss his wonderful face all day! (kissing him is like chocolate <3 )

This is the cheesiest load of cheese I've ever written, but hey, tis the season?

Love Vintage Clothes?

Well then you would simply love The Goddess Room, a beautiful little store located in Greystones.

Its truly beautiful, I was in awe when I first walked into the shop! So wonderfully laid out, and all the pieces are just to die for. *sigh*

I went in for a dress fitting yesterday - because RTE's Off The Rails were doing a piece on them and we wanted to make sure the clothes looked perfect before filming!

(For those of you who don't know, Off The Rails is a fashion ''magazine'' TV show)

And then we shot the pieces today.

I have millions of photos I would love to put up instead, but I'm not allowed to give too much away! It will be aired in March sometime, and all the proper photos can go up when it has been broadcasted.

I'm in love with every piece of clothing they have.

I was watching the UFC last night so didn't get to bed until about 6am, so took this photo pretty much as soon as I got up (around 4pm) to make sure I caught the light!

Very annoyed at the Irish weather right now, it's pretty miserable. The whole weekend was drizzly and grey, I honestly cannot wait for the summer, I'm getting very bored of the cold!

Black Swan

So there is some serious Black Swan fever going on right now so here is me & Lucy Nuzum's take on it :)

So what Lucy did is get a projector and just project this lacey effect on me - no photoshop!

This image was meant to be very like the film, with the whole ''good vs evil'' and the reflections on the mirror.

The projector is such a good idea because you can just do anything you want! check out her facebook page to see more of her work (just click on her name ;) )

I did my own make up for this look, the lipstick is Morange by Mac, then I just used gel liner for the thick eyeliner and contoured the crap out of my face.

Illusions!

I get alot of emails from people asking me how do I get my hair to look the way it does, always full and thick, and I often get comments on lookbook from people saying they are jealous of my hair.

Well, they needn't be!

My ''hair'' is all a sham. My hair is about shoulder length and very very thin.

I'm actually very unfortunate with my hair, and I'm almost NEVER seen without some sort of hair extension piece. I've had fake hair weaved into my head, I've had the bonded hair, clip ins, and they've always made me feel great, gave me that extra confidence, but were always such a hassle.

So thats why I couldn't praise HairSpray more for this amazing little number, the scrunchie.

It just looks so ridiculous on its own. But I swear by it! This is virtually hassle free. All you have to do is put your hair up in a bun, and wrap the scrunchie around it - and ba-da-boom, full thick looking hair!

I wish I was getting paid to advertise Hairspray like this - but it's just too good of a secret to keep to myself anymore!

In other news, I am soooo loving the course I'm doing at LA Make Up Academy! I'm never ever bored and the day literally flies by, and the tutors are all so wonderfully friendly and helpful!

Yesterday we needed to bring male models in to do a sort of ''male model catwalk'' look and my lovely

Ronan agreed to come in and help out, what he didn't know is that there was a shortage of male models and he was passed around a few times (ha-ha)

Sunday Afternoon

I've had quite a pleasant weekend, I went to see a great play in the Olympia Theatre called 'The Field' and straight after went to see Black Swan - which, by the way, was amazing.

I didn't expect it to be as dark as it was but I totally loved it, and am really inspired by the film!

Ballet is really in at the moment because of it but in fairness, I remember being totally in love with Kanye West's music video for Runaway, with all the ballerinas in black, I don't think it got enough credit!

The Jacket I'm wearing is actually Ronans, its quite old I think he got it in a thrift store,

I made it a bit more feminine with the fur collar which I got from Forever 21.

Spring Summer 2011

I don't know about you guys, but I simply can't wait til summer, and the Spring/Summer Trends will be just awesome this year.

I'm loving the biker style at the moment, and these leather throusers are just unreal! I wear my American Apparel Disco Pants waaaaay too much and need some new material :)

Its great cause Ireland is never reaaaaallly hot enough in the summer that you'd be boiling in a pair of trousers like these.

I am loving this jacket, a twist on your average Black Leather jacket! I only have one which is waaaay old, and i'm itching to get my hands on this little number:

I want to dress like this everyday!

But apart from the biker/military trend,

I'm digging the Sheer Maxi Dress look (combined with an awesome leather jacket would be yum!)

I'm really getting into Maxi dresses & skirts. I never wanted to wear them before as I'm only 5''7 and didn't think they looked good if you weren't very tall, but I just embraced my height (and wore massive heels :D )

And I am loving the 70s style thats coming back in, not as ''in your face'' as the actual seventies but I'm a huge fan of neutral colours and making it look interesting with fun patterns etc,

So I'm going to have to start saving to be able to afford all these wonderful clothes :D
