Question by : programming in c help?
Im having trouble using for loops to find things like prime numbers. Is there a way for me to get better at using these? i try to figure it out but after a few hours I give up and I look up the code online. I hate doing this though but is this is a good way of learning it?

Question by Patrick A: Animated and Narrated PowerPoint Slides?
I was just wondering if possible, how I can add animation and add narration to PowerPoint slides. I’ve found a few tutorials on how to add narration to the slides, but I can’t seem to find out how to add narration with animation.

I don’t mean like complex animation, just animation like the timings of certain bullet points to come up at a certain time instead of just coming up with an entire slide and having the narration.

I think your mean is Synchronize Voice Narrations with Animations.
First you must know how to set up the effect of the sound as follow:
After inserting the sound into the PowerPoint file.
1. click animations tab, then click the custom animation, you can see a pop-up window.
2. Click the sound file that you want to set, Click the drop down arrow of the music item you just added from the Custom Animation list and select Effect Options.
3. A window named Play Sound displays. Then you can set up your sound in it.
Second maybe you can cut your sound into some parts, then insert one part into a PowerPoint slide. Or you can control the show time of one slide then set up the seconds before going to the nest slide.

Using c#, how do I get a list of available databases on a mySql server?

I am using an Odbc connection and I can connect and interact with the server fine. I have been completely unable to find how to get a list of the available databases. the GetSchema function is only returning “views” as a result. Does anyone have any idea?
Exmple:
OdbcConnection c = new ……
c.GetSchema(); <- returns only "views"
c.GetSchema(“Databases”); <- returns "Collection is not defined"

I realize that I could do this more easily with SQL server, but I really would like to do this using MySql.
I tried using the sp_databases stored procedure, but this is not recognized by mysql. I have heard that this only works in MS SQL.
To those whoa re interested, I have found the solution. It was entirely to simple.

use the SHOW DATABASES command and it will return a table will all available DB’s. This can be put into a table and you’re good to go from there. This is embarassingly simple.

The easiest way is to call the system stored procedure “sp_databases” and read the result it returns.
