Sussex Sport Photography are pleased to be the official photographers to the popular Sevenoaks Sprint Triathlons http://www.7oakstriclub.co.uk/ The Club runs two sprint distance pool based triathlons each year. The April race was a great success and the next one is on 20th September. The races use staggered start times from 06:30hrs onwards, the last competitor usually finishing at around 11:30hrs. The 400m swim takes place in the Leisure Centre Pool, the Cycle Route takes in 25Km of the surrounding undulating Kent Countryside, whilst the run is 8Km mainly around the beautiful Knole Park.

Organised by All About Triathlons http://www.allabouttriathlons.co.uk/events_xtf.php X Terrain Triathlon For the fifth year running the XTT is back. The full 2 lap swim, combined with a MTB course to test all biking skills and then a xc run through scenic heath land and woodland tracks. Full distance: 1.5k swim, 24k MTB, 10k run Sprint distance: 750m swim, 12k MTB, 5k run X Terrain Duathlon This race uses the same course as the triathlon and is set to be a sell out race again. Full distance: 10k run, 24k MTB, 5k run Sprint distance: 5k run, 12k MTB, 2k run X Terrain Aquathlon The XTA is a new event for Hawley Lake offering only full distance race; 1500m swim and 10k run. The swim has an exit-and-reentry at 750m Full distance: 1.5k swim, 10k run X Terrain 10k For those purists amongst you try our challenging xc 10k run across heathland, woodland tracks and fire tracks. Twice around the 5k track, all multi terrain with slight inclines and trails. This course uses the same tracks as the other Festival events. Although not particularly hilly it is wonderful scenary to run across with some fast gravel tracks and slower heathland trials.

Both runs are challenging and include climbs to the top of the South Downs either via Bo Peep (10km) or Alfriston (20km). All the runs are set in this spectacular location with stunning view from the top of the downs. Countryside Catering will providing the food that so many of you raved about after the last years race. The Firle Estate has very kindly offered onsite camping on Saturday for those interested; so why not make it an end of season club race and pop along to the Ram Inn in Firle Village the night before the race (you will need to book though). Races will start from 09:30am. We’re looking to double the numbers in 2009 following the Runners World profile.

Sussex Sport photography are pleased to be official photographers to the Abingdon Marathon. http://www.abingdonmarathon.co.uk/ The 2009 version of the Abingdon Marathon will again take place on 18th October 2009. A similar course is planned, but we have listened to comments made after last year's race and a few minor changes will be made. This year once again we will host the Oxfordshire County Championship, Middlesex County Championship, Berkshire County Championship, RRC Championship, SCVAC Marathon Championship and British Army Marathon Championship The event also hosts the Twin Towns competition. Once again we extend a big welcome to our friends from overseas, especially from Argentan, France, Abingdon’s twin town. Since 1987 athletes from Abingdon (and many other British clubs) have run Argentan’s full or half marathon, and just three weeks later each year runners from Argentan have come to run Abingdon Marathon, each party enjoying a weekend of hospitality with the other town’s club. The marathon entry has grown over the years and our entry limit is 1,100 this year. We expect this number to be reached in July, well before the closing date, so make sure you enter early to avoid disappointment

CHASE hospice care for children provides nursing, practical, and emotional support to families with children who are not expected to reach their 19th birthday. All funds raised from this event will go towards supporting life limited children and their families across South West London, Surrey and Sussex. 10k: A hilly cross country race covering a mix of surfaces including road, field and sandy tracks. The route is made up of a loop and ends in front of the main house. 4k: A hilly cross country race starting at the same time as the 10k but following a different route. The 4k route will join the 10k loop midway, to finish under the same finish banner.

Sussex Sport Photography are pleased to be the official photographers to the Brooks Brighton 10k The Brooks Brighton 10K Sunday 15th November 2009 The Brooks Brighton 10k is a fast, flat R.R.C. accurately measured course along the seafront of Brighton & Hove, with start and finish on Madeira Drive. http://www.brooksbrighton10k.co.uk/ The Brighton 10K starts in Madeira Drive (the road next to the sea front below Marine Parade), Brighton. The route heads out towards the Marina (East) for 1.5K before turning back on itself, going back past the start, and continuing past the Palace and West piers. The race continues past the Peace Statue (aprox 5K) to the King Alfred Leisure centre at 6.5K where it turns and comes back along the sea front to the finish, also in Madeira drive. The Brooks Brighton 10k start will be at 10am sharp.
