Sussex Sport Photography are pleased to be the official photographers to the Brooks Brighton 10k The Brooks Brighton 10K Sunday 15th November 2009 The Brooks Brighton 10k is a fast, flat R.R.C. accurately measured course along the seafront of Brighton & Hove, with start and finish on Madeira Drive. http://www.brooksbrighton10k.co.uk/ The Brighton 10K starts in Madeira Drive (the road next to the sea front below Marine Parade), Brighton. The route heads out towards the Marina (East) for 1.5K before turning back on itself, going back past the start, and continuing past the Palace and West piers. The race continues past the Peace Statue (aprox 5K) to the King Alfred Leisure centre at 6.5K where it turns and comes back along the sea front to the finish, also in Madeira drive. The Brooks Brighton 10k start will be at 10am sharp.

Supporting GUTS and St. Luke's Cancer Fund the Bolt 'Round the Holt 5k, 10k and 21k Fun Run is open to all ages and standards and is set in the beautiful Alice Holt Forest, Farnham, Surrey. All funds raised from this event will go towards supporting these two charities. The route of the race is a cross country lap on even-surfaced sandy and gravel forestry tracks that run over undulating land. Runners should expect ascents and descents and a little mud too. No age group categories, so all ages will run together. Minimum age 13 years (on race day). Distance options: 5k = 1 lap 10k = 2 laps 21k = 4 laps 3 events, 3 start times, 1 course The start, finish and lap point are all near the cafe and car park, so friends and family of runners can watch and cheer on there loved ones whilst sipping tea or coffee. http://www.allabouttriathlons.co.uk/events_bah.php

The entry limit is 600. Included is the Middlesex County 20 Mile Championships. The race consists of 4 identical laps which are run on road and pavements in a mixture of town and rural settings in and around Ruislip and Ickenham, Greater London. The race starts and finishes at the Hillingdon AC Clubhouse, 206 Bury Street, Ruislip Middlesex HA4 7TJ

The races use staggered start times from 06:30hrs onwards, the last competitor usually finishing at around 11:30hrs. Full dist: Swim 1.5k -Bike 24k -Run 10k Sprint dist: Swim 750m -Bike 12k -Run 5k Relay dist: Swim 1.5k -Bike 24k -Run 10k X Terrain Duathlon This race uses the same course as the triathlon and is set to be a sell out race again. Sprint distance: Run 5k - Bike 12k - Run 2k Full distance: Run 10k - Bike 24k - Run 5k X Terrain Aquathlon 1500m swim and 10k run. The swim has an exit-and-reentry at 750m Full distance: 1.5k swim, 10k run X Terrain 10k For those purists amongst you try our challenging xc 10k run across heathland, woodland tracks and fire tracks. Twice around the 5k track, all multi terrain with slight inclines and trails. This course uses the same tracks as the other Festival events. Although not particularly hilly it is wonderful scenary to run across with some fast gravel tracks and slower heathland trials.
