We built a huge fire tonight(out in the country).  I'm on the other side of this camera, pipe in one hand, sweeeeet tea in the other...cowboy hat, camos and lots and lots of laughter!  I think I'm staying!

One of MK"s Thanksgiving projects with the kiddos here at home.  All their toothpicks fell out so I grabbed 'em in PS and threw 'em back on top.  We're eating them now!!!!!

Years ago I worked in a fine furniture and cabinet shop, with a few friends of mine (brothers) Cory and Grant Batson.  Turns out the brothers have turned out to be luthiers and are building some amazing guitars!  These guitars not only sound great, but they are works of art!  They have Incorporated some pretty unique design innovations (the soundport, the trussbrase, the sureboard and the shortail).

Grant has been asking me to come out to the shop for some time and last night we finally hooked up.  I saw the shop(killer), played some beautiful guitars(sounded great) and we celebrated the moment with a few brews!  Good times, check out the link.  http://batsonguitars.com/

Tonight we studied Chapter 2, where we find Jesus at party (as he characteristically and yet inconspicuously performs a miracle) and then later in dramatic fashion, drives out those from the temple who would take advantage of others by selling redemption.

Mmmm…Jesus, having fun at a party, making that party even better by miraculously making some sweet Vino out of water and then going to town and exercising some Justice, by looking out for those who need looking out for (especially the poor).  I feel as if I’m back at square one, looking at the life of this man…and looking forward to what I find!

I grew up in Houston and Dallas, TX, so cows, tractors and rodeos were not an option.  I also spent summers at my Grandparents farms in MS.  I consider myself fortunate to have gotten the best of both worlds (The Big City and The Country Life).  Lately my view has been from the seat of this Montana and it's been good for the soul!!
