I'm so in love with fall, this butterscotch color

is one of my absolute favorites for this time of year!

This scarf I actually just made for myself for our trip to beautiful lake Michigan,

I loved it so much that I had to share :)

In other news, I'm 8 months pregnant with a beautiful

little girl and can't wait to meet her!!

I've been up to my ears in baby knits, I just can't get enough...

but that's another blog post entirely :)

Chicken Spinach Lasagna

This lasagna will change your life.

My mom gave me this recipe and it is ALWAYS a hit!

Chicken Spinach Lasagna

Serves 6-8

Prep. 25 mins

Cooktime: about 1 hour 20 mins

Ingredients:

12 Lasagna Noodles

1 9oz box Frozen Spinach

3-4 Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts

3 8oz Bags Shredded Cheese

2 24oz Jars of Spagetti Sauce

1. Heat oven to 350
2. Boil noodles until el-dente
3. Thaw spinach, I use the microwave
4. Chop up chicken into 1 inch squares and fry over med/high heat until white all the way through (you may add spices if you like - oregano, basil, etc)
5. Drain cooked noodles & run cool water over them (so they're not too hot to handle)
6. Put a few table spoons of sauce on the bottom of your 9x13 glass baking dish
7. Begin layering your lasagna in this order: Noodles, Sauce, Chicken, Spinach, Cheese (use up all of the ingredients)
8. Bake (uncovered) for 1 hour 20 minutes, or until top layer is golden brown and slightly crispy

So far this is my favorite quote from Emily Giffin's latest book, Where We Belong. I'm about 3/4 of the way through and although it isn't my favorite of her books, it's growing on me.

I recently watched Freaks & Geeks...One of the best decisions I've ever made!!

Seriously, if you haven't seen it yet immediately stop what your doing and watch it on Netflix! You won't regret it :)

I'm going to more concerts this year than I have in a long time.

In April we're going to see Nick Cave.

In July my mom and I are going to see Bon Jovi.

And Last week my husband came home and surprised me with Justin Timberlake & Jay-Z tickets!

I'm so excited I don't know what to do with myself! :)

chasing a 19 month old around all day :)

I'm all about the mid/high rise...

I'm SO happy that the unflattering "ultra low rise" are gone!

I'm also digging all of the florals for spring,

I got these pretty pants from Forever 21

I haven't worn them yet, but I can't wait to pair

them with a pretty pink shirt for spring!

Fall is my favorite season

I love the cool air, a hot cup of apple cider & cinnamon donut, the colorful leaves and cozy sweaters.

Most of my fall wardrobe is the color of the changing leaves,

rich deep green like the unscorched autumn grass,

or the color of the plum purple mums that sit beautifully on the porch.
