When the team splits up, Rex turns to Vera (Arlene Tur) for solace, while Gwen finds out more about Esther's family history.

Oswald (Bill Pullman) succumbs to Jilly's (Lauren Ambrose) charms and is taken in to meet the PhiCorp executives -- at the same time Gwen enters the building on a secret mission.

Meanwhile, Tony (Michael Weatherly) is sidelined for this case and must go against orders to try and prove his father’s innocence.

Robert Wagner (“Hart to Hart”) returns as Anthony DiNozzo Sr. and Stargate Atlantis' Rachell Luttrell guest stars as Navy Lieutenant Commander Stephanie Mosner.

Meanwhile, Jimmy (Brian Dietzen) has problems of his own when he brings his future father-in-law to work. Larry Miller (“Boston Legal,” “10 Things I Hate About You”) guest stars as Ed Slater, Jimmy’s future father-in-law.
