1939 Award Winning Raggio Manuscript Map of Luxembourg

A charming 1939 manuscript or hand drawn map of Luxembourg by Antonio Raggio. The map covers the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg in fine detail, noting rivers, roads, cities, towns, mountains and surrounding regions. The map proper is surrounded with beautiful graphics and illustrations of a leaf motif. This map is part of Antonio F. This is a charming 1939 manuscript or hand drawn map of Latvia or Letonia by Antonio Raggio. It covers the Republic of Latvia, one of the three Baltic states in Northern Europe. The map is beautifully detailed and notes rivers, roads, towns, cities, islands, mountains and parts of the surrounding counties of Estonia, Lithuania and Russia. The map proper is surrounded by beautifully illustrated graphics and a leaf motif. This map is part of Antonio F. This is a lovely example of the 1845 Thomas Ewing map of Holland (The Netherlands) and Belgium. The map covers the United Kingdom of Netherlands including Holland, Belgium and Luxembourg from the North Sea to the Duchy of Luxembourg. Divided and color coded according to regions and territories, the map identifies various cities, towns, islands, rivers, and an assortment of additional topographical details. This is a scarce 1754 map of Liege and Limbourg, Belgium by Robert de Vaugondy. It covers parts of northeastern Belgium and southern Netherlands along with neighboring Germany and map extends from Weert, Netherlands south to Namur, Belgium and east as far as Juliers, Germany. The entire region is depicted in extraordinary detailed, offering both topographical and political information, with forests and mountains beautifully rendered in profile. This is an uncommon 1754 map of the western Belgium and northern France by Robert de Vaugondy. The map depicts part of modern day Belgium and France, which was at the time this map was made, part of the counties of Hainaut, Flanders, Cambrai, Namur, the Duchy of Brabant and Liege. It extends from Brussels in Belgium south to Hirson in France and from Douai east as far as Gembloux, Belgium. This is an attractive 1752 map of the southern part of the Duchy of Brabant by Robert de Vaugondy. The map depicts part of modern day Belgium and Luxembourg, which was at the time this map was made, part of the Duchy of Brabant. It covers the vicinity of Brussels and extends from Malines south to Chimay and from Ninove east as far as Sittard in the Netherlands. This is a fine 1874 map of Holland (The Netherlands), Belgium and Luxembourg by Ambroise Tardieu. It covers the United Kingdom of Netherlands including Holland and Belgium from the North Sea to the Duchy of Luxembourg. Various rivers, islands, mountain passes and other topographical features are noted. In 1830, the Belgian Revolution led to the secession of Belgium from the United Kingdom of Netherlands and the creation of the independent Kingdom of Belgium. This is a beautiful 1753 map of the Duchy of Luxembourg and part of southern Belgium by Robert de Vaugondy. It covers Luxembourg along with parts of neighboring Belgium and Germany and extends from Liege south to Beaumont in France and from Namur in Belgium east as far as Manderscheid in Germany. This extremely detailed map notes important cities, towns, rivers, mountains, roads and a host of additional topographic features. This is a beautiful 1860 elephant folio map of Holland (The Netherlands), Belgium and Luxembourg by A. H. Dufour. It covers from Friesland to Luxembourg including parts of Germany and France. Throughout, the map identifies various cities, towns, rivers and assortment of additional topographical details. This is a fine example of S. A. Mitchell's 1846 map of Russia. The whole is engraved in Mitchell's distinctive style with green border work and vivid pastels. Political and topographical features are noted and color coded with elevation rendered by hachure. Mitchell's map covers European Russia from the Baltic to the Ural Mountains and from Lapland to the Crimea. An inset table in the lower right quadrant lists the regional governments of Russia. This is Robert Wilkinson's lovely 1793 map depicting the area now covered by the southern Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg. It covers from Breda, south as far as Montmedy and from Dunkirk east as far as Cologne. When Wilkinson prepared this map, much of this region was dominated by the Hapsburgs of Austria. The Low Countries were on the low-lying delta formed by the convergence of the Rhine, Scheldt, and Meuse rivers. This is a fine example of Robert Wilkinson's 1793 map of what is now the northern Netherlands. It covers from Borkum (Bosch) south as far as Antwerp and east as far as Munster. The top left quadrant of the map features an inset of the city of Amsterdam. Three more insets featuring the cities of Breda, Haarlem and Leyden are included along the bottom margin. The map also features a table of statistics. This is a fine 1849 map of Holland (The Netherlands) and Belgium by Joseph Meyer. It covers from the North Sea south to include Luxembourg. Throughout, the map identifies numerous towns, rivers, railways, roads, mountains and an assortment of additional topographical features. This is a beautiful 1852 example of Joseph Meyer's map of Belgium and Luxembourg. It covers from North Flanders to Luxembourg and includes parts of Holland (The Netherlands), Germany and France. Throughout, the map identifies various cities, towns, rivers and assortment of additional topographical details. This is a fine 1835 map or plan depicting the principal cities in Europe, by the important American mapmaker T. G. Bradford. Essentially six plans on a single sheet, it covers the cities of London, Edinburgh, Paris, Madrid, Brussels and Vienna. Each plan notes rivers, streets, individual buildings and host of other important features. Elevation is rendered by hachure. The maps of Madrid, Brussels and Vienna include an explanation. The map was published as plate no. 100 in Thomas G. This is a beautiful 1835 map of Holland (the Netherlands) and Belgium by the important American mapmaker T. G. Bradford.
