Covers both states in full as well as parts of the adjacent states. Like most of Colton's state maps, this map is largely derived from an earlier wall map of North America produced by Colton and D. Griffing Johnson. Colton identifies various cities, towns, forts, rivers, rapids, fords, and an assortment of additional topographical details. <a href="http://www.geographicus.com/P/AntiqueMap/KentuckyTennessee-colton-1855>... more

Mitchell, the younger. It represents the states of Kentucky and Tennessee. Shows both political and geographical features. This is a larger and more detailed version of Mitchell’s 1860 issue of the same map. One of the most attractive atlas maps of this region to appear in the mid 19th century. Features the floral border typical of Mitchell maps from the 1860-65 period. <a href="http://www.geographicus.com/P/AntiqueMap/KTTN-m-62>... more
