Transact Campus Announces 110 New Fintech Jobs for Limerick

The Fintech firm has announced they will be creating 110 Fintech jobs at its new Limerick international headquarters. The US company, which develops payment and credential software for campus environments,said it will generate 110 new fintech jobs to develop its portfolio of products and services.

The roles will include front-end developers, back-end developers, iOS and Android developers, DevOps engineers, software engineers, data scientists, product managers, architects, scrum masters and UX designers. Staff will work in areas such as CQRS patterns, asynchronous event-based integration models, data streaming, data lakes,AI-linked analysis, de-coupled micro-service architectures and cloud-based data analytics.

Transact Campus is headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona. Its software is used by beyond 1,300 educational institutions representing in excess of 12m students, and facilitates over $46bn in annual education-related payments.Its services include fee bill presentment and tuition and payment, student payment plans, and allowing for authorised access to campus facilities and events.

David Marr, CEO of Transact Campus said that, “It is with great excitement and appreciation that Transact announces our establishment of a new technology innovation centre in Limerick, representing the final and critical component of our global vision and strategy,” “We are humbled to be so warmly welcomed into the Limerick community and we thank the IDA for their meaningful partnership – without them, none of this would be possible.”

CEO of IDA Ireland, Martin Shanahan, said the investment shows that the mid-west region is an “attractive location for financial services”.

Global Shares Announced 150 New Fintech Jobs in Cork Tech Firm

150 New Jobs in Fintech Industry

Global Shares in Clonakilty has grown to become a global fintech and plans to employ 1,000 people by 2024 and fill the 150 high-skill, high-value roles immediately in areas such as software development, compliance, cybersecurity, financial reporting and project management.

The fintech industry is on track to achieve Unicorn valuation status by 2024.  The Fintech Cork-based firm currently employs 167 staff at its headquarters on the outskirts of Clonakilty and 35 staff employs in its office in Cork city centre which opened just last year.The firm also have an objective to increase its total workforce from 370 to 1,000 by 2024. Within the next four years, the company is on track to achieve unicorn status. Generally, companies with a valuation over $1 billion will achieve this.

CEO of the company, Tim Houstoun, said: “Our growth over the past couple of years has been enormous, but over the next few years, we’re aiming to be west Cork’s first unicorn, and we’re on track to achieve that,”.

He added, “This is something that is exciting for many reasons – including the fact that as an employee-owned company, many of our own staff will reap the rewards of the hard work they’ve put in over the years.”

'A Remarkable Journey'

Global Shares was founded as a services company in Clonakilty in 2005. It started its proprietary software platform in 2015 and its ongoing clients include Fujitsu, Cargill, Krispy Kreme and many more.

The new Fintech jobs announced are being created with support from Enterprise Ireland. The agency’s CEO, Julie Sinnamon, said that for many years, they have worked closely with the fintech firm and supported its growth from Clonakilty into over 100 markets worldwide. she added “We are delighted to support the new jobs announced today, which will help further Global Shares’ innovation focus, and look forward to continuing to support their global ambitions for many years to come,”.

Take blogger page in a new tab and click on settings in left side.
In settings, choose the option 'other ' and you can see Google Analytics Section.
Give the Tracking ID in the text box and click on save button.

Go to blogger and click on theme in there edit HTML and paste the code inside the Head section.
Click save theme.

The google tracking code is installed now.
Next click on All Website Data in google analytics and choose the website data.
Final step is to view the google analytics data. For that, in google analytics click on Real Time.
Click on Overview.

Keywords

Generally, keyword is a phrase or a word that specifies the topic. Keywords are very important for every websites because, some keywords get hundreds or thousands of unique searches everyday. And these tool-sets are very useful to know how many users are searching for your keyword and how much competition for the particular keyword.

Steps for Adding and Verifying your

site ownership with GWT

Google Webmaster Tools or Search Console is a free service that always let you know more information about your website and how many people visit your website. Generally, Google verify the ownership by adding and verifying our blog in Google webmaster tools.

Verification process can be done through the following steps

First, Create a blog in your Blogger.com account.

Then login in to your search console by the link google.com/webmasters/tools/ .

Next we have to copy the URL of your blog with .com extension. If the URL is with .in extension then, change it with .com/ncr and press enter and you get .com extension.

Then go back to the webmaster tool site and paste the URL of your blog ( .com extension) in the box provided and click '' Add Property ''. Now, your blog site is added to search console account.

Next step is to verify your blog. For a blog, the verification method is select the " HTML TAG" and copy the meta tag data given in the box.

Then, go to blogger dash board click on theme option and and edit HTML.

Paste the copied meta tag data within the < Head Section > ( before < /head> ).

Go back to search console and click verify button and we get verification message from google.

How to crawl and Fetch in GWT ?

After, verification message then the page will redirect to the dash board section.
On the left side you can see Crawl option. Then you can see " Fetch as google " from the list.
If you need to Fetch the entire blog then, leave the text box blank or if you don't need to fetch then, enter the URL of the page you needed to be indexed.
Click Fetch button.
After indexing, click on Request Indexing button.
While clicking on request indexing button, you can see two options ; " Crawl only this URL " and " Crawl this URL and direct links ".
Select as per need and click the button Go.
Waiting for indexing to be completed and you successfully done the process.

What is On-page Optimization ?

On-page optimization in SEO means, all measures that can be taken directly within the website in order to raise its position in the search engine.

On-page optimization includes both head section and body section. Head section optimization consists of Meta Tags, Meta Description, Internal Linking etc. Body parts includes body tags, images etc.

SEO Optimization in Head Section

Snippet shows the preview of google result and it includes Title, Meta Description and URL.

Rich Snippet shows reviews, star rating, price, etc to improve the trust level of a page. Rich snippet is a strong factor in improving the click through rate

( CTR ) and it also helpful in reducing the bounce rate.

Title

A title tag is a strong part of webpage. The title tag become visible inside the <head> area. For example, if you were writing an article titled “The evolution and updates SEO'' you would see the HTML version as, <title>The evolution and updates ofSEO</title>.

The Do's and Don'ts of writing title tags

1. Do make sure that, title tag should contain maximum of 60 characters including space. For instance, if we write an title tag with above 70 characters it will likely cutoff or it shows as a dot on a google SERP.

2. Do put important keywords at the beginning.

3. The title should be unique and should not contain any grammatical errors.

4.The title should be on 512px width.

Meta Description

The meta description is an important factor of on page optimization. It generally appears below the title and the URL.
In order to remain visible,

The description should be between 155 - 160 characters.
The pixel width be a limit of 1024px.
Try to include most important keywords.
Make them unique and meaningful.

Robots

Robots defines which parts should be crawled by the search engine. Generally, robots is used to restrict the crawling process in a web page.

Body Section Optimization

Body Tags

Body tags are the another important SEO factor. The body tags H1, H2, H3, H4, H5, H6 helps to support the overall view of the web page. Body tags have their own place in a page. Generally, H1 tag is used for main heading and it should contain the main keyword. H2 tag is the subheading and it should contain the relevant keywords in accordance with H1 tag.

Content Optimization

In content optimization, the contents can be links, images. And it mainly focus on page ranking so, it is an powerful factor in seo. The visible portion of the content is Anchor Text.The hyper link is added to anchor text. While writing a content, starting sentence should contain focusing keywords. And the sentence should be simple that is, up to 20 words.

Keyword Density is the percentage of keywords used in a content. It should be between 2-5%.

Image Optimization

Image optimization generally focus on three factors

Alt name of the image
File name
Content

Authorship Optimization

Authorship optimization is also named as editorial power . Authorship optimization is a path for write-up authors to connect with the google profile with their published content to create the ownership. The main advantage is that, Authorship provides an authority value and validity to the page .

Method To Create Authorship

First, we have to create a google profile.
Secondly, Link the created google profile with the content by adding rel=''author''. rel=''author'' is an HTML attribute which helps to connect the article with the personal google plus profile.

Search Engine works on three stages.

The first stage, Crawling is performed by the search engine crawler and through this process the google gives the final result to the website. The search engine's automatic navigator, ''spiders'' or ''bots'' scan which website contain more relevant information and after scanning , the next stage Catching takes place. In this mode ( catching) google takes the snap shot of the data and in the final stage , Indexing the result gets stored in to the data base ( search engine ).

SEO TECHNIQUES

White Hat SEO is referred as ethical search engine optimization because, white hat SEO rank websites in an ethical manner. It is focused to attract the customers but not the search engine crawlers. Generally it focus on human audience in opposed to search engine and it follows search engine rules and policies.

Black Hat SEO focus only on search engine and not on human audience. Black Hat SEO is most frequently used by those who need quick financial returns from their websites. It doesnot obey search engine rules .

This is the latest techniques. Grey Hat SEO is a mix of both white hat SEO and black hat SEO. Grey hat SEO is riskier than the white hat SEO but still safe from getting highly punished and banned by the search engines

SEO EVOLUTION

In olden days, users started to practise keyword stuffing by adding too many keywords in the web page and in the blank space inorder to obtain high rank. Later google introduced link specific that means those who have more links in the page achieve high ranks so, users tried to add maximum number of links to raise the ranking. Due to this, the quality of the website decreased. Thus google put forward quality link specific .

Here ,quality content is the important driver to the search engine and ranking is based on quantity and quality of links to the website and it is valued based on the scale 0-10 . Only few website have rank 10 for instance , US govt site.

High link selling was practised by the users so the google introduced Link Juice , it refers to the power or value passed from one site to the another one .This power acts as a recommendation to the site and it considered to be one of the most important factor for page ranking. Inorder to stop the power passing Google introduced rel=”nofollow” in links.

Introduced in february 2011 meant to stop content spamming. The main type of content spamming is content duplication and content plagarism. It means coping the another's work or idea as your own. By this updation google remove the websites that contain low quality data, grammatical errors and content spinning. Later new version of panda updation introduced. Amoung them in 2014, panda launched a new version that was to remove the content duplicated websites and it became a permenant filter to the algorithm.

Penguin Update

is against the Link spamming. Link Spammingis a type of black hat SEO . Link spamming includes link selling,link farmming,wiki spamming.

Humming Bird Updates

Humming Bird algorithm was publically announced on september 26, 2013. It is an improved search algorithm, it works in responce to the consumer preference. Drawback is, Google accept data based on the comment support even the data is wrong.

Pigeon Updates

It is a local search algorithm updates and it was introduced on july 24, 2014. It is aimed to increase the ranking of local listing on search engine. For example, Location based search result of a restaurant.

Pirate Updates

Pirate Updation is a filter introduced in August 2012 and it is designed to prevent the sites with many copyright. According to Digital Millenium Copyright Act, we can register complaints to the google if our website get copyied and the google take necessary action.

The EMD ( Exact Match Domain ) Update launched in september 2012 and it is introduced to prevent the poor quality sites because, they had words that match search terms in their domain name.

Mobile Friendly Updates
