Adventure with Walter Mitty

Yesterday, at midnight, I was watching a movie called, “The Secret Life of Walter Mitty.” You may wonder

how I found the movie. Actually, around 12 O’clock, I was watching a YouTube video about composition in

filmmaking. There the instructor mentioned this movie.

After watching the trailer, I was so eager to watch the full movie. It is an adventure movie. I love adventures

and so do adventure movies.

The story is incredible and adventurous obviously. You will be able to glance at some of the beautiful landscapes

of Greenland, Iceland, and the Himalayas. I love nature and in the movie, the beauty of nature is represented in

an extraordinary way.

The compositions (framing) of every shot are well-balanced. It was so pleasing and enjoyable to see. And its

outstanding way of representation really inspires me to be lost in nature.

At the beginning of the movie, the compositions are symmetrical with lots of leading lines. I found some

of them chaotic, breaking the basic composition rules. It is completely intentional to draw the viewer's

attention to the story.

I like this movie. For me, this movie is an ideal choice for adventurous people as well as

filmmakers and photographers to get a deep comprehension of composition.

Exploring a Woodland

Sky was clear, finally, no cloud. It had been raining for four days, making it harder to be outdoor. That is very common in the rainy season actually. With sunny daylight, low humidity, and gentle wind, the weather was enjoyable.

We, five friends, were walking through a concrete pathway heading towards a woodland. Traveling with friends is engaging. It helps to build a greater social connection. Companiying on various topics and sharing personal experiences are always interesting.

After a few steps from the main road, we reached the woodland. Wow! It was mesmeric. The woodland sits on the east & north bank of Sugsagor lake. And as it was afternoon, the sun was hitting from the west. so the leaves and grasses were highlighting themselves on the west and gradually decreasing to the east, creating a soft feather with awesome colors. Shadows of the trees were also creating beautiful textures on the ground.

With gentle air and incredible scenes, it was spectacular. I experienced a great feeling. Being involved with nature commits me to be more enthusiastic. That's why I always love to go out and explore nature.

I must admit I was lucky to be there in that astounding condition. To be honest, it was a surprise for me. I visited there before, but never in that beautiful condition. NATURE is GREAT...

Painted Canvas

Sugsagor, Dinajpur.

Suddenly my eyes stopped at a scene. Stepped back for a better view. It was incredible, instantly reminded me of my childhood memory when we were used to drawing sights like that. It looked like a painted canvas, canvas with an intimate feeling. It's hard for me to express the feeling in words.

I walked through that pathway many times before but never anticipated it in that way. Perhaps, it was because of the light. The sun was directly hitting the house and taking the attention.

But unfortunately, as it is a public park called Sugsagor (on the edge of Dinajpur Town), most of the time it remains dirty. Not enough dustbins are available there and people are also not aware of this.

Environmental pollution makes it harder to feel the flavors, especially in the towns.
